Stopped at the Sasol Steers N12 E near Delmas on route to Dullstroom. Waited 25min for 2 pitas and a burger AFTER placing order. I attach a foto of what the pita looked like, nothing like your fotos, no lettuce, tomato or sauce, just cheese and a breast, the burger hardly had sauce and my sons rib pita was ice cold. That store must run at a huge loss, I attch a photo of all the salt (27) and 1000 island sauce (7) was thrown into the packet. For a butger and 2 pitas?

I ordered 5× 180g riblets with chips and coldrink using delivery extreme from steers cresta.i am very dissapointed so are my 4 colleagues.firstly the riblets are not 180g then chips were dry inedible and not fried properly. I had to pay R78.90 for this meal which is fine because theres a delivery extreme handling fee.so i paid R394.50 for meals that look like kiddies meal.we only ate the riblets which are less than 180g.
We need to reimbursed this is dissapointing.we always order from steers and were not expecting this treatment

Good morning
I have attached the abovementioned pictures for ease of reference. On the 5th of August at 18h34 at your Eldorainge Steers outlet (Saxby Ave). I bought a XXXL Chips take away for R74.90.
When I arrived home I opened the box and was so shocked and disappointed in the amount of chips I received.( photo attached).
I could not drive home because it was 15 km away. I must admit that the price I paid and the quantity received is shocking to say the least.
I this is correct then I will never support Steers again and will post the picture on social media…

I have been a strong Steers fan since you started. But I have been noticing some concerning quality issues that have been getting worse and worse lately.
1. Meat patties are not what they used to be. They are tough and seem to have way more grissle than they used. But they are still better than most of your competition.
2. My biggest complaint is about the bread roll you are using on the King Steer. The bun is so flimsy that it is almost impossible to pick it up without the bottom section if the bun falling to pieces. Now try and do this while driving. Note that this is not only happening at the Cape Gate drive through but at all the branches I have bought it from. The photo attached was at the Engen forecourt branch on Durban Rd. In that photo, I had only turned the burger on it's side to pick it up. It had not left the packaging yet.
3. Even when your chips are bad, they are the best in the business so I will keep buying them. However it is extremely disappointing to receive chps from the Cape Gate drive through, that are very soggy and a dark brown colour like they have been lying in the oil for hours. Also, I have had chips from some branches where 90% of the chips are less than 2.5cm in length. That is not up to your normal standard.
4. Your Caramel dipped cones have long been a favorite of our entire family. In recent times many of your branches have had a problem with the Caramel dip which is too thin and runny and does not harden on the ice cream. In fact in the last week your Tygervalley food court branch told us they only do Caramel dip in cups, and your Cape Gate drive through said the same. How am I supposed to eat from a cup whilst driving? You used to do this really well. Now McDonalds have started as I am sure they have seen how badly you have slipped on this.
5. Lastly, the service and quality at the Cape Gate drive through is so bad that you can see it by the queues. The KFC next door will have 8-10 cars in he drive through, the Burger King will have 3-4 and the Steers will have 0-1 car. They really need to lift their game if they are going to stay in business.
cold food and no customer service
I ordered food at Steers Greenfields last week Saturday night. I ordered around 18h30 and received my food at about 19h40. I phoned the store at about 19h38, they said delivery guy just left. When i reveived my food, it was ice cold. Why did the store not keep it hot? How long was my food standing on their counter?
I complained and the lady just said sorry, it wont happen again. Listen to the recording... she first ramble on in Xhosa, i thought she was explaining my situation to the manager, just to get a feeling she was talking to me. I again asked her what action i was to follow, R400 is not just a few cents. She said she would get back to me after she contacts the GM. They cannot give me answers or make any decision on their own. This was Sunday. I phoned back on Monday and spoke to a male manager, he said he will find out by the owner. I phoned back today and the manager said the owner has not picked up his phone yet?. Inv # 294558 and del order # 219

I bought 3 x wacky wednesday from steers.
As i was about to my hamburgers to my suprise i found that there is non of the ingredients as advertised in the shop only two buns with a patty in the middle.i took them apart and took photos of them.unfortunately had to eat the after i put some tamato on and some suace.i would like to know if it should look like that or not.if it is the case that it should then i think i must my friends about this and who knows it might go viral.totaly unecceptable.

I am standing here in the front waiting for almost 16min while the lady called Paggy is on the phone laughing and talking to a person, totally ignoring us.
When I made an attempt to get her attention she ignored me and continue her telephone call. Even if it was a client she should take the order and not make it a personal call and talk about anything else except the order... 16 Min? Really!
It's pathetic.
Then when it was time to take our order she had this attitude that she doesn't really want to help us but she must...
I honestly don't think Steers can risk being brought down by bad service caused by an employee that treated a white female customer badly.
I always loved Steers especially Wacky Wednesday's... But after today I am not sure if I will ever support Steers again... I felt truely let down by the Steers atmosphere today!

My husband and I were in Queenstown on a business trip. We stopped at the garage where we saw a Steers outlet. He ordered a bacon and egg burger. I ordered a toasted cheese sandwich and a coffee.
The toasted cheese was incredibly poor. It was tasteless, and dry. There was practically no cheese at all.
We rarely stop for breakfast - and sadly, this was a huge disappointment.
We would appreciate a response.

Being advised by a friend ti try a. New burger after 10 months ordering from steers maybe i tried and wow.. Just the previous day i ordered from kfc and that was the last time as now with steers... The cashier did not give my 19 cents change.. For some it may seem ridiculous but to me its theft... Imagine how Much money they pocket by giving incorrect change.. When given her the eye and asking for. The 10 cents she quickly gave it..

Not exactly sure if i am on the right site.
Being in a difficult time in this world, when you decide to go buy steers its a huge luxury. Now today i bought a original cheese burger with chips. To my total disappointment not only was the chips oilier than usual but the beef pattie was as dry as bread without butter. They had no sauces in packets (which to mention i love) there was 1 sauce machine and the other was dry but no little tubs to put it in.
I am sorry but if this is the quality that is coming out of this store now, i will not get it again in spite of the fact that i am a huge steers fan.

Made an order online and to my surprise after receiving the confirmation drive to the shop to get a rude employee by the name of Hazel told me that the store does not do online orders my question is why have the service online if you don't want us to use it.
It was a waste of my time data drove 15km to get nothing but regrets especially on my birthday I'm so disappointed and I would love to see something done about this because I was so upset I'm a way I lost my appetite and my birthday was spoiled

I ordered through mrdelivery from steers chilli lane (dfd4327657) an original king steer burger and received a burger that didn't look or taste like what I ordered - pretty disappointing because I love gherkins! The burger did not have gherkins, onions and nor the mustard sauce that gives it it's distinguish taste! And what's with the salty patty today? You hired an ex chicken licken employee? Geez! Disappointing and very careless of whoever that prepared the food. It's a "goodbye steers" for me... Never again!

I woul like to log a complaint with the following issues I encounted with steers Del Judor Engen garage Witbank.
We always made use of saveways steers, since it closed we made use of steers Del Judor... what pathetic service. Since we started ordering from them we have had no joy. I started making use of the online ordering system because of the long waiting periods when placing orders in store. I place my orders when I leave my office, then I still have a 40 minute drive to get to steers engen del judor, but still I end up waiting in store 20 minutes and more for my food= 1 hour to complete my order. Yesterday 13.06.2018 I placed an online order again. Only to get to the store and receive a phone call in the store that they do not make use of the online orders anymore. I had to stand in the queue and replace and pay my order. Time of order placed in stores 17:07. By 17:45 I went up to the counter to ask how far my order is. The guy standing with his arms folded told me it's almost ready. 18:07 (an hour later) I was still waiting for my order. After making a scene and requesting my money back. They noticed that they didn't place my order at the kitchen. I had to wait another 10 minutes for my food. When arriving at my car I luckliy double checked my order before I left, just to see that my order is not complete. I had to go back in store to get the remaining food. This is not just a once of thing, this happens everytime I order from steers engen del judor. Yesterday there was other people complaining as well about bad service, long waiting periods for food and incomplete orders. I wanted to try out the new Pita Burger for lunch, when delivered there was no tomato, gurkens and it looked tasteless and not well presented. Then you have to wait for another delivery that takes another hour. The advertisement on the display board is misleading us and to buy a Pita burger that does not look as tasty and only have half on that was advertised. Will not be buying this again soon.

Date 8 June 2018 at 13:30 my 21 year old daughter went to buy lunch for us at the local Steers in Midstream.
One the Steers employees (see attached picture) began harassing her for her contact number.
He even followed her out to her car and gave the his contact details (see attached).
My daughter felt very uneasy about this and approaching her in her car really scared her.
In a society were abuse of woman and children is very prevalent I regard this situation as serious.
I will give you till 15 June to contact me with your plan of action as to what exact actions are taken against this employee or I will take further action.

incorrect order twice in one day same order

I've oderdered Steers on Friday 1 June 2018 at 14:30. If im not mistaken my ricket number was #28 but did give this to the manager on duty when i contacted him telephonically.
Stood in Drive Thru gue for 45min before ordering a XXXL Cheesy chips and a Rave burger. Got home to spoil the kids from school and found that there was no cheese sause on the chips. Contacted tge manager and he said i should go and collect the newe order which i couldnt do so he suggested it to be delivered which i agreed to.
When the delivery guy came to my house after another 30min he brought a XL chips and only relized that the one i bought earlier was a XXXL CHEESY chips and had to go back and correct the order ONCE AGAIN which also only came after 45min. Needless to say the kids were irriatble hungry and. Their luch turned out to be part of dinner.
This is unacceptable i never even received a call from the manager to appologise for the 2ND INCORRECT ORDER😠😤
This wasnt the first time that we have received poor service from Steers Showgate last month we bought 3 Wacky wednes day one burger with advocado and when we got home there were no advocado and was on the receipt and paid for.
This is also the reason why i suggested sending back the XXXL Cheesy chips so they wont be able to say we hate the chips and they didnt make a mistake.
It is really sad to have these experiences time after time at a place which food is suppose to of top flamed grill quality. Wanting to treat the kids every month with their favorite take out place STEERS but after being dissapointed them Over and over is unacceptable. This is a bad outlook for Steers from our kids to even have to deal with incompetence and them being your future customers.
No Steers please step up your game. Your food is delicious and of great standard but you are slacking big time these days!
burnt food
On 30 May 2018 at 16h05 I ordered a Wacky Wednesday Special at Steers. My order number was 1299. I received my take-away order 10 minutes later. When I got home I smelled a strong burn odour. When I opened the burger box, I checked and saw that the buns was burnt badly. Needless to say, we could not eat the buns and also had to throw away the lettuce as it tasted like burned bread. No cheese on the burgers as well.
The desirable resolution would be if I could be compensated for my loss of money as the food was definitely not up to standard and I am sure it is not Steers policy to serve customers badly burnt food. Please refer to the photo attached.

Good day, I placed a Steers order Friday 25 May 2018 @17h38 online at Steers Celits Ridge Centurion. My order was processed and delivered. I've ordered:
1xB King Bacon meal
1xB Mighty King Brg Meal with cheesy fries
2x Blueberry shakes

When my ordered arrived 18h26 the shakes was missing. The driver told us it was not on the order where we had to show him the slip. He did not looked impressed and said he will return. The food was not in a Heat Bag.
When we opened the food it was cold. The Cheesy fries sauce was sour and the chips for both meals cold. The burgers was cold.
I contacted the branch on (010 590 6238) at 18h42 where I could not hear the lady properly. She said the manager will call me back right away. I called back 18h51 again. I could not hear the lady again as if the phone is making horrible scratching noises. She said I must but the phone down the manager is trying to call me. I received the call 18h55. I could not hear her and she called back 19h05. Still could not hear her. She called again 19h07 and out of everything I could provide her some info. She said the driver will deliver the shakes. I told her the food is cold and the driver did not place our food in a heating bag. The chips sauce was sour. I was not happy with my food order. She said she will find out about the shakes. The driver arrived (shakes was fine). She called back 19h21 and said they will call me the following day to apologize. I am still waiting. I feel the order was not delivered correctly and we had to wait for the rest of the order after we had to show the driver his mistake. I will not place a order with this branch again. They must seriously consider fixing their telephone lines.

We bought a Sharing Option 2 - none of the burgers had anything on it except patties (2 x Veggie and 2 x beef) sauce and 1 slice of tomato (which didn't even cover a quarter of the bun).
The chicken salad was 90% leaves and could not have had more than a quarter of a chicken breast in it.
The 1/2 grilled chicken we ordered was a drumstick.
The chips looked to be retried at least 5 times.
Value for money? No. I couldn't even eat, had to jazz up the salad with some peppers and cheese and add our own dressing as none was provided and had to fry our own chips. So much for giving Mom a day off from cooking. ☹️

Iv been a fan of steers burgers for some time. The patty is very juicy, but for some reason yesterday I didn't enjoy meal (Borewors burger) That burger looked like it was thrown on to the roll.. all the was on the roll was cheese, patty and sauce. No pickles, lettuce, tomato. Who are you people feeding Dogs. Sadly I was home when I saw it... m sure I could have brought it back
