I am a vacation club member for nearly 15 years.( I am a second time share renewal member )
I lived at your Sun City Vacation club from 24 Jan 2020 to 27 Jan 2020
I would like to express my disappointment in the service and standards.
My Concern and issue.
Unit 458 - ON arrival Friday 27 we had planned a and bought food for a braai but with the hard rains the patio braai area was flooded with water raining through the roof and through the ceiling.
We had special guests invited for the braai as this was going to be their first sun city vacation club holiday.
We had to cancel the braai and go out to purchase food which was not planned and budgeted for .
We could not braai or eat in the patio area as it was smelling of damp, you can even go check it yourself now if you need to.
I advised the person who does the cleaning of the braai area, he said he will tell the supervisor, but nothing was done and no one came to check the damage.
The lounge had a loose carpet under the coffee table the old blue carpet was worn due to age and had a fold in it,
My guest tripped and fell over the fold and got hurt on the coffee table on the last night, we never bothered to report it as it was the last night, but you can go see the unit yourself to inspect the fold in the carpet and the leaking roof .
We cancelled the braai for any day as this would have been not practical if any rains suddenly came.
Hope this matter can be investigated and suitable response received as I would like to take up matter with Hello Peter, as I paid cash for my timeshare and pay my levies ( which is money to maintain the unit / are for a great holiday )
