Sun Tan City Having to wear a mask now!

The CDC and government has cleared wearing masks now and I have been FULLY vaccinated I shouldn't have to wear a mask inside anywhere now! The manager at my salon got an attitude about me not wearing one. She told me that I couldn't tan at her salon anymore if I didn't wear it! I will cancel and spread word of how your company is rude and can't follow NEW guidelines

Desired outcome: No mask required

Sun Tan City Customer Service

Locked my account for no reason after I paid up to 2 months on my account. Had a horrible experience with Lizz from LaGrange salon and no one would get back with me on my concerns. She tried to charge me 30.00 more on my account. Luckily, another salon corrected it immediately. We want our refund of 2 months that we cannot use. I guess they retaliated because we left complaints on their employee. I have been a 7 year customer and never had issues. Terrible customer service and we are going to notify the news if our money is not refunded since we were not contacted on why my account is locked.

Desired outcome: Refund for 2 months

Sun Tan City Young Lady working behind the counter

I went into a Sun Tan City that I frequent quite often. The lady behind the counter who refused to give her name, was the rudest employee that I've ever encountered at this location. 3626 Hurstbourne Ln. I've been a csr rep for 35 years and this young lady has no business in dealing with the public. Young long blonde hair. Acted like I actually bothered her by asking her help in resolving an issue.

Had the same experience on the same day at the Lagrange salon. They have now locked my account after I went and prepaid for 2 months. No one contacted me or could tell me why. Major retaliation. It's unfortunate that they allow people to be treated this way.

I was charged for lotion that the worker said was free. My packages was upped without my approval and was charged for that. The girl that signed me up just lied to my face about everything. Is this the kind of people you hire. Money has been taken off my card without my approval. I cannot trust Sun Tan city. The calibur of your employees is question able

Again, I do apologize about this. It is our company policy here at Sun Tan City that we do not refund yearly memberships. No childern are allowed to wait in the salon under 13. And no one is allowed inside the room with a client.

Sun Tan City service

I am currently 15 years old, I know you have to get a paper signed in order to tan since you're under the age of 18. My mother called and went in the store, and two employees told my mother that as long as she signed the paper that my sister over the age of 21 could come and be my adult/parent. I just tried to go in a store and they told my sister that I was not allowed to tan. I completely understand if it is a rule or regulation that you guys have to follow but I thought it was kind of rude for two employees to tell my mother and I that I could come. I live 45 minutes To the closest Sun Tan city location. I wasted my and my sisters time. thanks for your time.

Sun Tan City membership / money from my account for a year

For an entire year Suntancity has been taking $88 from my bank account as a result of a sales associate mistake. I canceled my membership but the associate failed to process the cancellation completely and as a result, they kept autodrafting from my bank account. I have been trying for over 4 months to get my refund and STILL have not received it. BE CAREFUL and watch your memberships/account. If they screw up they do NOT care if they make it right. Horrible customer service.

Sun Tan City membership

I am a little upset with the Nixa location right now. I went in to the Nixa location on April 15th to renew my membership which I thought it was going to be the $10.99 a month but it was not and the girl went ahead and signed me up for something totally different. I assumed when she charged me $43.08 it was for the 3 months they were unable to charge my bank (issues with my bank and lost card) and to start up again. I checked my account this morning and noticed $27.49 was taken out. I called the Nixa location and the girl who answered, said that the girl who signed me up, picked a plan for me that would allow me to cancel at any time since they were not running the special of $10 a month at the time. I told the girl on the line, that was not mentioned to me at all and had I known that, I probably would not have signed back up at that time and waited for the $10 deal to come around. She then proceeds to tell me that she can knock me down to the $14.99 a month plan but I would need to come in or call customer service. It's been a very long time since that location has had good help with staff. It's just so frustrating.

I was tanning at this location this past saturday in an instant bed. The glass on the bed had spider cracks in it... When I went to get in the bed the glass broke and I almost fell they the bed... I hollered out to. The front desk to turn it off it took them several minutes to do it. Then I had to figure a way to get out of the bed without getting severely...

Sun Tan City spraybooth malfunctioning / horrible customer services

The evening before Thanksgiving I went to suntan city to lay & spray I purchased a sample of lotion, primer and eye wear. I relaxed in the instant bed then moving onto my spray session The first spray was a stream of dark brown coloring on each side of my body resembling used motor oil and lots of it, I exited the booth as it continued covering the walls terribly The booth and myself looked horribly.. I called the front desk explaining what had just happened and asking for extra towels I was told she would be right back I stood with black [censored] rolling down my sides The phone rang and was advised to use the paper towels get dressed and come up front. I was then given a packet which was a disposable glove to wipe entire body. The coloring had already stained my skin and now my under clothes. The girls told me they put in the computer for a complimentary spray whenever I liked. Advised to use nail polish remover for the stain. I rushed home to shower

Hoping it would come off thinking a manager would contact me after the holiday but no one did so 6 days passing I called the store short story I was advised to bring the products back in for a refund stephanie was no manager and did not listen to me nor had my file pulled up .suntan city your slacking major in service management & maintain nuance. I WANT REFUNDED PLEASE !

Sun Tan City they took money out my account

They took 155.41 out of my account is what it shows on my bank statement. But they gave me a recite say it was only 129.52. They would not return my money in full when clearly it says they took 155.41 out . They was rude the girl was about give me a refund after showing them all the records of then taken out 155.41 they still would not refund my whole amount . I heard they girl telling the guy I told you this would happen. .. I returned everything my lotion n my keychain membership . And still the refund is not in my account not even the 129.52 ..

Sun Tan City membership

I had explained to the worker in the Onalaska location I only need a few tans for a wedding. She recommended I get the fasted package since it was toward the end of the month so I received it prorated for 27 dollars and she if I cancel before October first I will not be charged anymore. However I went to cancel my account on September 30 and the lady said it was cancelled. However this morning I woke up to a negative balance in my checking account and was charged 60 dollars. If I knew I was going to be charged I would not have bought this but the woman ensured me if I cancel I would not be charged anymore. I did not want monthly payments I am a student and can't afford that right now. I would like my money back as I was not properly informed of what I was purchasing and it was supposedly cancelled however I am still out on money. I would like a refund or some compensation as that is a lot of money and I was so incorrectly informed by an employee.

Sun Tan City being able to tan

I was at my regular location in Danville today. I was checking in with 1 other customer at the same time. There were no others in the front area. I was told it would be a 7 minute wait. The other lady sat down quite a bit after I was checked in. In about 3 minutes they called her to go to the exact bed I was there for. I got there first so why did she go before me? I sat there 15 minutes while the 2 consultants just talked at the counter. I finally just left. I am on a schedule and am a paying customer. I drove down there today and didnt get to tan. What is the point of paying $65 monthly if I cant use it? They offered no explanation or apology.

Sun Tan City customer service

Sun tan city in Columbia Tennessee has horrible Customer service Kent or Kant the man at the front desk was incredibly rude making a scene at the front desk I've never experienced anyone who works with the public who has been so unprofessional completely ruined my experience there I highly recommend going to another tanning salon I've heard other people complain about the people who work here I'm still in shock over the way he acted
