The car wash is crap‼️
So on May 1, 2024, I entered the car wash got a membership. My car was completely dirty still plus my racks on top of my truck fell off. And they still haven’t reimbursed me or they still haven’t called me and this been since the first today is the seventh. They said they will give me a call within 2 to 3 days. I will never go back to this car wash
Recommendation: They are crap and give you the run around about issues
I will never 👎🏽 come back to this car wash
Shady practice
It was our anniversary I went in to get my car washed The attendant said that they could really buff out my car to where it would look like new I purchased the clay buff out costing over $700 they weren't able to do it that day so he gave me a card and said I could come back at any time and have this done. In the meantime I brought my car through to get it washed The guys washing it said that the car would not buff out after purchasing the card went back for a refund they said that they don't give refunds The attended tightly put the receipt around the card very deceitful just want my refund for the $720 it was a service that was never performed.
Recommendation: Shady practices at this establishment no refunds for a service not even performed.!
Fraud
Just like all of the fraud reviews, I was signed up for a monthly car wash without my permission.
I called Superstar carwash and talked to Taylor Shetterly and she admitted that this was wrong and the motivation was that employees get a commission. She sent me a email confirming cancellation and said I would receive a credit within 7 days which I never got!
Stay away from superstar car wash, go to pony express cheaper and honest company.
Fraud
I had a feeling I wasn’t the only one this happened to and I AM LIVID! Some punk kid, who I thought was being extra nice and helpful took my card at the Kiosk, and little did I know singed me up for a membership unknowingly. I never signed anything, never authorized automatic deductions out of my account. That is fraud! I called and talked to Dawn in customer service, and explained everything and she got snippy with me and said “You didn’t know that you signed up for a membership? Come on” Really? At this point I was FUMING! I told her to never insult my intelligence and I wanted to speak with her Manager. Well? No manager. I haven’t lived in Escondido for months! So. Jose M G Director of CS. What’s your email? I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB! I hope this place gets their pants sued off of them and are put out of business! This is horrible business practices!
Recommendation: DO NOT GO HERE!!
Fraud business - Report to authorities!
I went to get a basic $5 carwash last year. The employee took my card pressed button and the gate opened. After that I started getting charged an unauthorized $23 monthly subscription fee.
A couple of months ago I went to the location in person and asked for them to cancel my subscription to be canceled and for a refund. They said I had to contact corporate for a refund but that they had cancelled my subscription.
Today I checked my bank statement and realized they never stopped charging me the monthly subscription fee. I will submit formal complaints to the police, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Recommendation: AVOID THIS PLACE AND REPORT TO AUTHORITIES
Same thing just happened to me! I took pictures of the email, texts, and receipt though. I'm seriously upset. Who does business like this? SCAM ARTISTS!
My family has been a victim of fraud at this location on two occasions
My family has been a victim of fraud at this location on two occasions. While my young teenage drivers attempt to get a car wash, a teenage employ comes over and says let me help you, takes their card, raises the gate, and tells them that the car wash is "on him today". Unknowingly, on two separate occasions my children were scammed using my credit card and signed up for repeated charges. It happened not once, but twice. I wouldn't believe, it they hadn't attempted to run the same scam on me while I have visited the car wash. Visiting the manager on site, or calling their corporate office has yielded no results. I question the legality of this predatory practice being run on minors. Beware! The vacuums however work great, but in the long run much cheaper and safer to go the quarter car wash. I am at nearly $200 in charges for a single car wash on two different vehicles.

HORRIBLE. We live in an undisclosed location. We were visiting another place and stopped for a car wash in FEBRUARY. Unbeknownst to us, we were signed up for unlimited washes! It seems they have a system to capture your license plate, and then they automatically start charging your credit card $29.95/month. I have been able to get 2 months refunded, (March and April), but am still working on the refund for May. I know they are hoping I will give up, but I won't. They engage in illegal and predatory practices!
My story is the same as everyone else. They grabbed my credit card when I went through for a "discounted" wash with no acknowledgement that I was signing up for a monthly subscription. Since then they have ignored my attempts to reach them and just happily charge my credit card. I will dispute the charges immediately, but I also suggest everyone having this same problem file a consumer fraud complaint against them with the *** attorney general's office. That's what I did. I also provided them a link to this review page so they can see the other complaints and consistent theme. It's obvious the Complaintsboard.com reviews are having zero effect on their willingness to address the problem!
SCAM ALERT!
SCAM ALERT! I recently visited the location at Priest and Warner. There was a young man standing at the payment kiosk who stated he was there "to assist with the payment process". He asked for my card and what kind of was I would like and then pressed a few buttons and the entrance gate opened...All good right? NO, this punk [censored] enrolled me into their monthly unlimited wash program without my approval or knowledge, and today my debit card was hit with a RECURRING charge of $17.95! I have tried for 2 days to contact their corporate office, and sit endlessly on hold being told where I am in the call queue and then being hung up on before actually speaking with someone. Not only have I contacted my bank, I have filed a complaint with the AZ Attorney General's Office, and I am making it a personal mission to make others aware of their business practices. You scammed the wrong person this time!

Beware of this company's fraudulent practices! I was ordering a car wash when an employee stepped up to "help" me. I wanted the basic car wash and he said they were having a special and I could get unlimited car washes for a month for the same price. No-brainer, right? He reminded me that the special expired on April 10. I was sitting at my computer at 4 a.m. on April 11th and my credit card company emailed me telling me that Superstar Car Wash had billed me for an exorbitant amount! I immediately called the credit card company and filed a dispute. They recommended that I also call Superstar and ask them to "do the right thing and remove the charge". When I called, they did agree to remove the charge, but the representative I was speaking to advised me that, "any time there is a manager's special, it is linked to a membership in their unlimited car wash program" that starts at a significant monthly fee. The employee that "helped" me said nothing about the special being tied to a membership program with recurring monthly fees. Outright fraud!
Same as the rest. Was not told it was recurring. For that matter, there is no paperwork that states such/ called to cancel a month ago they said its canceled got a new charge today on my card.great carwash all-around - people just need to stop lying and withholding information.I do hope one day there are enough of us that class action gets opened. It's not the money I want. It's to pay back the aggravation in kind. - They clearly don't give a s... Just scroll down. Will never go back. Will never recommend it. I will drive 6 miles to a competitor when I have a super star a block away and be happy about it. There was a time someone cared about super star. But not today.
If I could give negative stars I would. I am going to have cancel my card to stop these charges. FOUR. months now and they not only charge me still but they charge me twice every time. I have canceled three times now with this incompetent girl *** who only basically gets snippy with you when you get clearly frustrated and angry. They wont allow you to talk to anyone who is capable of preforming their essential jobs function. This is a horrible company, never ever do business here!
Employee didnt tell us we were signing up for a recurring charge and just clicked through the screen for us, telling us it was just a special.Tried calling, they said to submit a customer service form, but we couldnt submit it without an account number which we dont have. Tried calling again and waited on hold forever and didnt get a hold of anyone. Disputed charges.
Well it looks like Im one of many that this business has screwed the same way on the monthly subscription scam
Well it looks like Im one of many that this business has screwed the same way on the monthly subscription scam. I love the actual car wash its self. It does a great job. To bad its getting ruined by dishonest business practices. My story is the same as others. They take your card from you, dont give you your receipt and no mention of a monthly subscription fee. They also put my license plate in wrong. So the next month I paid another $10 for a wash not knowing I was being charged $19.95 for the subscription. They also billed my account another $29.95 which no one could explain. After calling two different occasions trying to get this resolved. They credited my account for the monthly charges witch had been going on for four months and the random charge. That was February 15th. March 15th comes and they are still billing my account again. Not its in dispute with my bank. This is a trained business practice from a corrupt company. It starts from the top. Stay away.
I was not able to access my account online nor did I ever receive any sort of welcome email or text from them which I was told I would receive. I sent a cancellation request over email. My card was still charged. I called and they told me I never sent a cancellation request. Without proof they would not issue a refund. Between the lies and money theft they are an awful company.

The services were fine. After visiting a certain location a few times, I realized that I had been enrolled in their most expensive plan, which costs $34.95. It appears they took the liberty of using my credit card and license plate number to sign me up for a subscription without my consent. I cannot recommend their services and believe their business practices are highly unscrupulous.
If they damage your vehicle, they will refuse to pay for it
If they damage your vehicle, they will refuse to pay for it. Their machine ripped off my driver's side mirror. I filed a claim there on the spot,...we took photos. A couple days later they called me and admitted they had video showing me entering the wash with the mirror intact and leaving with it missing. They then gave me a twisted logic of supposed reasoning as to why they would not pay for it,...but essentially it breaks down to them gambling that because it was less that $100, they believe I will just let them screw me and not consider it worth my while. They are more expensive than any other car wash in 30 miles, and I normally would have never chosen them anyway, but they were on my route for the day and I figured an extra dollar wasn't so bad. HUGE MISTAKE! These corrupt thieving misers make plenty of money to honor their responsibility, but are so without ethics or morals they simply choose not to. They deserve NOTHING and you should NEVER do business with people like these.
BUYER BEWARE - *** is committing fraud with every "special wash" they get customers to buy. They did this to both me and my daughter. They literally owe us over $100 for the unapproved monthly charges. There is never any communication of the fact that it is a monthly recurring charge, and they don't provide refunds once you notice the charges on your CC. TOTAL SCAM! They have been dong this for years - I cannot believe that there is not a class action law suit or some sort of penalty from the state for the business. ALL of the locations do the same thing.
If I can give no stars that would be my rating. Primarily for the unprofessional Supervisor named German whom tried to fight a customer for damage reported while vehicle went through car wash. I even called corporate and the info was shared with regional manager and no response or apology given. To have such reckless hotheaded employees working in this type of setting is complete and utterly unacceptable. I will remove all my families memberships and go elsewhere.
I was at an undisclosed location. I locked my keys in my car. I asked to call my husband to bring me keys and then I was offered assistance to unlock my vehicle. They tried unsuccessfully for over a half hour which caused damage to my vehicle. Never was I told they would be damaging my vehicle. I got an estimate for them to repair it and they refused.
Same story as others
Same story as others. They sign you up with a credit card and tell you that you can cancel at any time using their website or the phone number on the receipt they give you. After a few weeks we moved and I have been trying to cancel without success every day for 10 days. Trying to cancel online results in a message that the transaction cannot be processed at this time, and to call their customer service number. Calling that number results in an automated message to use the website. I finally had to cancel my credit card and get a new one to avoid having them ding my credit card. On one occasion I finally got through to a human at the corporate office and as soon as I told her why I was calling, she just hung up on me. What a shame! Good wash, good product, but DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. Strongly recommend that NO ONE EVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. Pay cash or go somewhere else. I would not be surprised if a class action lawsuit is brought soon. Zero stars but I have to give them one in order to leave this review.

I have 3 unlimited passes with them
I have 3 unlimited passes with them. The actual facilities are fine but their main office and website are terrible. I swear, a 5 year old developed their website. They should have all my 3 cars under one account right? No, that would make too much sense. When I sign in it does not tell me what car is under that account, cannot make changes to any account since they are not listed, you can cancel your account but do not know which account I would be cancelling. If you want to make changed, you have to go to the actual carwash because the [censored]s in the office are clueless. I had made an appointment to get my car detailed and I showed at at 9 am
I had made an appointment to get my car detailed and I showed at at 9 am. They told me that my car would be done at 2 pm and they would give me a call when my car was done. I called them at 3:15 pm to see if my car was ready and they told me it was. I showed up to pick up my car and nothing was done to it! There was dust all over it and bird ***. One of the workers came up to me and my dad and gave me my keys. My dad was taking to them trying to see why my car had nothing done to it when we spent $200 on a full detail and for them to fix my head lights. Then I opened my door and my driver side door was completely ripped. We got a manager over and he claimed that they didnt touch the seat, but I had dog throw up on it and it was gone. So I told him that then he tried saying that my seat was already ripped. When there was a tiny rip in the seat but it was fixed. Now there is about 10 more rips and 2 very large ones. They told me to come back at 6 pm to pick up my car. My car was there for over 9 hours and I have a job so I had to figure out my transportation all day. We made a complaint but they wont fix my seat at all. This is the second vehicle they have done something like this to in my family. I hope they are very happy that they ruined a 16 year olds first car. I will never ever go back to them for absolutely anything.

I am completely frustrated and exhausted
I am completely frustrated and exhausted. Back in February I stopped by a SuperstarCarwash on presidents day weekend. The young man who checked me in for the wash held me up in line to tell me all about a special deal they were doing. He expressed that I would get a $27 wash for FREE this time if I signed up for their $19 a month plan, and that I could easily cancel at anytime. That could not be any more FAULSE. Im not the type to check my banking account like a hawk- because I do have bills coming in and out constantly- but by April I realized I had been getting charged for the $27 washes- even though I was told I was signing up for the $19. Deliberately after seeing this- I called their number 3 times; no answer. So I decided to send an email expressing my frustrations and want for a cancellation. I tried calling the next day to no avail either. Life happened, I now own a house and have a newborn daughter and recently noticed my checking account go down. Another $27 has been charged from my account. I have tried to log into my account online using my license plate number and last *** of my debit card- but it tells me we are currently unable to complete your request. I demand a refund dating back to the day I sent that email. April 22nd. Quite frankly I should be refunded EVERYTHING considering I only signed up for the $19 plan. I was told I would be paying for the $19 plan, why have I been getting charged $27 every month for something I never use? Completely frustrated. :/

I started using superstar car wash a couple years ago, but never signed up for a subscription because I didn't go there often enough
I started using superstar car wash a couple years ago, but never signed up for a subscription because I didn't go there often enough. Eventually they offered me a $12.95 car wash and said that I could pay that price for a month of unlimited washes, however they didn't mention anything about the subscription continuing past that month, or being charged more after the original one month subscription. After a couple months of feeling like I wasn't getting enough washes for my money based on having limited time in my schedule. I tried canceling my membership but the website says it's unable to complete the action every time you attempt to cancel the membership. Eventually I had to call and cancel . Then a few months later, I went back to get a single wash. The employee told me he noticed that my subscription had lapsed and I told him that it was just too much money for how often I was able to get the car washed. He told me he understood, but then offered me a $9 car wash for one month and mention that I could just cancel it immediately after signing up so that I only pay for the 1 month. Today I went to go and try to cancel my membership again, and the same problem occurs where once you try to cancel, it shows a "can't complete this task" message. No matter how many times you attempt to cancel the membership it will give you the same message. Once I tried to call the help line, they were completely unavailable. I haven't had as severe of an issue with this company as others have, but it is clear that they are making it extremely hard for their customers to cancel their memberships, and they clearly skip over telling you that you will have to continue to pay after the one month membership, and that they will raise the price at least $10 after the 1st month. These may not seem like big issues but it paints a picture of a business that doesn't care about their customers and are doing their best to take people's money in scummy ways.

Went yesterday 9/19 to get a wash
Went yesterday 9/19 to get a wash. One of the employees went to assist with the payment. She goes and says: "Oh we have a $2.95 wash going on today, do you want to get it?" and I agreed. Then she said she will need my phone number. I asked what was the phone number for. She said: "Oh it is just for our rewards program and you'll get the $2.95 wash". I said okay sounds good. I want ahead and paid with my debit card. I got a receipt and went to do my wash. After I finished I was looking at the receipt and it showed an expiration date. I went to ask the manager what the expiration date mean. He said that what it meant was my enrollment for the unlimited car wash where they take money every month from my bank account. I literally flipped out when he told me that. I told him I did not ask to be enrolled in no unlimited plan. The employee came to us and I told her what she did? That I did not ask for enrolment. She NEVER told me she was enrolling me in ANYTHING. And she basically called me a liar in front of the manager saying: "oh yes I told you!" She never explained NOTHING to me about this. She never mentioned that I was being enrolled in an unlimited car wash, that my debit card was going to be used for the payments, when payments were going to start, how much I was going to be charged every month. NOTHING. And she wanted to seat here and said that she told me. I am 40 years old and I don't appreciate a kid trying to call me a liar after she messed up. Now I have this phone number the manager gave me and HAVE THE INCONVENIENCE to call and cancel a plan I DID NOT ASK FOR. I called today and no one picks up the phone. What I am supposed to do now? I cannot take extra time of my day to deal with this. So what I get from this is that Super Star Car Wash is trying scam customers and pushing their plan without their consent. SHAME ON YOU. This is not how you do business. I will make sure to aware people on how you operate. NEVER again will do business with you.

DO NOT ATTEND ANY CARWASH BY THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT ATTEND ANY CARWASH BY THIS COMPANY! This company, your employees, and customer service are all AWFUL! I arrived to get my car washed on February 18th and was approached by an employee before I could purchase which carwash I would like to have on my own like usual. I was going to get the most basic plan, was convinced to get one in between which was around $12-14 dollars that provided more detail, and was told it would NOT be a reoccurring charge. I asked your employee if he was sure that this was NOT going to be a reoccurring charge and he stated NO, IT WILL NOT BE REOCCURRING CHARGE! So now EIGHT months later, I do have reoccurring charges on my card that I recently noticed from the Super Star Car Wash location on Priest and Warner. Not only have I been getting charged for a service I did not sign up for or agree to by you, my car was DAMAGED during that same carwash on February 18th and I have not been back to Super Star Carwash since! I have images to prove it and have posted them on Yelp and Google Reviews. After the carwash ended, I found another one of your employees and showed them what the machines did to my left mirror. He stated, "Since the mirrors do not fold in, we are not liable". The part that was damaged would've been effected regardless since it was the part that connects the mirror to the car and not the mirror itself! After noticing the charges, I emailed cs(at)sscwaz(dot)com and requested for a full refund that dates back to February/March. I have been speaking with Jeannette T via email since September 12th who ONLY refunded me for ANOTHER charge I just got today, September 18th! For your company to have your employees lie, to not honor a full refund for services and charges I did not agree to, and to not take accountability for the damages you caused on my car is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I will now have to get my bank involved due to these being fraudulent charges on my card. You cannot continue to take money from anyone especially during a pandemic where many people, like myself, are trying to save every dollar that we earn. I will continue this pursuit until I am fully refunded for the charges that date back to February/March and I will never be using your services ever again.

This car wash sucks, let me explain and you decide what you think
This car wash sucks, let me explain and you decide what you think. My family purchased a full inside detail with exterior over spray removal and the "Diamond plate ceramic coating" on the exterior that the salesman pushed so hard for us to purchase. This was a fathers day gift. The truck was to be done in one day drop off in the early morning and pick up later in the day. It was not finished on day 1. Day 2 it was still not finished. On day 3 I decided to check on my truck as I was getting tired of waiting and wanted to see whats left. Upon arrival I asked whats left and they said oh just clean some windows and run it in the machine wash again. FAR FROM FINISHED! Inside had many flaws things not cleaned, outside had tape glue all round the rear window (window blew out the week prior and was replaced) they didnt even clean off the glue before applying the ceramic coating that cost sooo much. The floor mats were missing for 30 min till they were found. The outside had so many areas not cleaned its like they dont care to look around or under anything. I had to point out everything almost like I ran the place. After all that the hood still had bad over spray on it. Decided to get the hood cleaned sometime later as I needed my truck. Got home and found the head rest covers were missing. Spoke to 3 people at the was and could not find them. They are not cheap auto store covers but expensive durable covers. The manager said they probably put them on another vehicle, ***? I have been trying to get them to replace the covers and the manager Jose is not being helpful or finding a solution. I found seat covers online that have the head rest covers but he gave me the run around that a different manager has to look at and call back but wont and I can seem to talk to this guy. I guess I will drive over there again and find him as they hide form calls. If I could give zero stars I would! Beware as the salesman will sell you the world and will give a [censored] less about any issues as they are not the ones who clean the cars. The manager over the car was Jose if terrible about running his operation, he blames his employees but wont hire people who do care and do things correctly. I always think you get what you pay for and here I dint get what I payed for.

I noticed today [protected]) that I had a charge from Superstar Car Wash for $19.95 on March 1st, I called my bank and questioned it and was told that I had been charged monthly, since Dec 29, 2021. I do not recall ever signing anything and/or agreeing to a monthly service for a car wash through this company or any other for that matter. Thereafter, I contacted Superstar Car Wash directly and was told that they could not refund me the money that I had been charged but they could give me a gift card for the last charge. This to me made absolutely NO sense! Such the wrong type of compensation especially since I did not do agree to anything in writing for one, nor agree to anything verbally for two. I explained to her that I would like to speak to someone higher up because this was fraud! She said she would have her manager call me back but it could take 24 - 48 hours. Situations like this should not be that difficult to resolve especially when it appears there is a pattern with this type of issue based on previous complaints against this company. I do not doubt that at some point I may have had "a" car wash BUT if this is their process for fraudulently signing people up for memberships, that involve monthly charges, then there is a scam taking place! It appears to me that this company needs a change of practice for their marketing techniques and they also need to better train their employees on how to properly solicit their company's memberships/promotions more diligently and make sure they emphasize the fine print. Ultimately, I would like a full refund for the amount that I was unknowingly charged as that would be the appropriate way to rectify this issue. Thank you!

Hello, today I am filing a complaint regarding an incident that ocurred 10/09/22 at the *** location. The employee notified me that there was a $2 sale going on for any wash plan. I went ahead and chose the Ceramic plan. I also asked him to cancel it so I wouldnt get charged again at the end of the month. He assured me he would cancel it. But this morning at around 4 AM, I was charged for $36.95. A 40 charge over an employee mistake? I hope there's something you can do to fix this. Thank you
I received an unsolicited text from Super Star carwash offering a free car wash for Veterans on Veterans Day, November 11, 2022, the text went on to offer discounted memberships for veterans and first responders. I drove to the SuperStar carwash at *** and spoke to I spoke to the attendant who stated they did not honor the free car wash at that location. He went on to say only specific locations honored the offer.
On October 28th, I purchased a carwash for $10 at SuperStar Car Wash located at ***. On November 14, I was automatically charged $19.95 as a recurring payment for a service that I did not request or receive.
I purchased a monthly car wash subscription from Superstar Car Wash which I have had for a couple years
I purchased a monthly car wash subscription from Superstar Car Wash which I have had for a couple years. It is a subscription that can be cancelled any time. At the beginning of October, I had ceramic coating added to my vehicle which does not allow the use of an automated car washing system or it will void the warranty. Immediately upon scheduling the appointment to have the work done, I attempted to reach out to Superstar Car Wash to cancel my subscription and to stop the any future charges to my bank account. Superstar car wash websites list phone numbers with extensions but none of them seem to work. When selecting the "cancel subscription" it immediately directs you to file the request online. The online request is a generic fill in the box system and does not list any specific email to send it to as it is automated. I have filled out the request 2 times and have received no response. I have tried to call numerous times and have never been able to reach any customer service representative or employee, and the extension selections either hang up on you or direct you to the online portals. I went to the actual car wash location and was told I would have to submit the requests online and contact customer service. They were busy and clearly did not want to assist me, or did not know how. Even after all the attempts to cancel my subscription, using the direction they provide to do so, the Superstar carwash still charged my bank account for the next monthly service. I am at a loss of what to do since nothing, or no one can seem to help me cancel my account. Unfortunately, due to the automated customer service email system, I do not have the emails available to provide.

I visited this car wash once in early July '22 and just like the other complaints, just noticed that they started charging me $19.95/month. I NEVER approved or was even asked about this during my visit. I went to the website to resolve, and the only way to speak to anyone is by providing your membership #! I obviously don't have this because i never signed up. I have contacted my credit card for reimbursement but have not been able to speak to anyone to prevent future charges. I would appreciate someone contacting me to resolve this matter.
After more than 1 year with this membership, what happened last Sunday morning around 10 am on October 30th at your location is unacceptable, and I have yet to receive a call from the district manager. After the incident happened, which involved the rail pushing my car off to the side and causing damage to my front passenger side, as well as resulting in the car behind me colliding with mine due to the car wash not stopping immediately, I was told by the attendant it looked like my fault without them being present to witness the event or reviewing the surveillance footage before making such assumptions. Why would I intentionally cause damage to my vehicle? As mentioned, I had been a member for over a year before this incident occurred. I was informed it would take 2-3 days for them to review the footage and contact me, but it has now been 5 business days without any communication. I called customer service, and they were no help, simply stating it would take an additional 2-7 business days from today, November 4th, for the district manager to reach out to me. The experience was dreadful, and the customer service was extremely disappointing. I was also advised to contact my insurance and file a claim, but they did not provide me with any of their information, which means I would have to pay my deductible even though the fault was not mine! The company is a joke, and I would advise against taking your car there. I am hoping for a prompt call back because their customer service seems to be non-existent.
Went to get the car serviced for full car wash today 11/5 and car wasnt even properly cleaned on the inside. Car was still really dirty with the floor. The outside windshield has water spots. Someone how I also have like a burn *** on the back seat of my car which is leather seats. If I pay for an expected service I expect to get that service.
Went to a car wash months ago. They advertised a $5 car wash. There was no conversation about a subscription. I never received any information about a subscription. After that started getting charged monthly. $27.95. Based on their yelp reviews, this is happening to other people as well. Also happened to my ex-husband.
In September , signed up for a discounted monthly car wash plan at Super Star Car Wash.
In September , I signed up for a discounted monthly car wash plan ($19.95) at Super Star Car Wash. In January , the discount expired and the plan reverted to full price ($34.95). Since April , I've been attempting to cancel the plan without success. My attempts have included: Entering my vehicle's license plate and assigned tag number on their website (it was never recognized). In early 2021, I called their offices directly (I was placed on hold and eventually informed that my call couldn't be answered due to high call volume). On a day in mid-2021, I emailed Super Star Car Wash requesting cancellation of my plan and provided photos of my license plate and the assigned tag (I never received a response). I disputed the spring and early summer charges with my credit card company, and requested they reimburse those charges and no longer accept charges from Super Star Car Wash. I was reimbursed for some charges and one is still pending. Unaware that they continued to process charges, I paid from July to September despite my attempts to cancel. I tried to cancel in person at the car wash location, but the manager told me the ability to cancel plans was removed recently. I am requesting a refund of $244.65 (7 months from April to October). It is clear this company uses unethical business practices by promising easy cancellation of monthly plans. In addition to refunding my money (and many others with similar issues), this company should face punitive damages for consistently acting in bad faith.

I went through to get my car washed and specifically told the attendant that I did not want their membership but he said he entered it that way so he'd need to swipe my card again for the current transaction for a lower amount and the other charge would be refunded back. Well it appears no refund was given for the amount he incorrectly submitted it for and on top of that a month later another charge for even more hit my acct so he did in fact sign me up for their membership when I said no! When attempting to contact them the only option for their customer service is to just cancel membership so you can't even communicate with anybody and forget calling because that gets me nowhere. This place is so scandalous in their business practices and their actual wash itself, which was supposed to be one of their best ones, was really nothing fantastic to start and don't feel they're really even using the high quality chemicals they claim they are!
We get our cars washed periodically and normally use Super Star Car Wash on Arizona *** While reconciling my credit card statements, I noticed a recurring monthly charge from Super Star Car Wash (beginning July 2022). When I went to the website for the car wash, it indicates the amount being charged is for a lifetime membership which we never signed up for. I also have no membership information (i.e. bar code that is mentioned on their website) in order to cancel and request a refund. We got a car wash on the 17th of July for $15, an additional charge of $17.95 occurred on the same day and a charge for $27.95 has occurred each month since. Apparently, they automatically signed us up for a membership which I find to be fraudulent behavior as we did not ask or agree to any kind of membership and received nothing from the car wash with respect to a membership. To date, I am out $102 on services I did not request and have not used.
Just like the other complaints, we used Superstar Car Wash *** on 10/2/2022 and paid a $9.95 charge for a basic car wash. On 11/2/2022, I found a $19.95 charge that appears to be a recurring charge by this scam of a company. It is clear they have a scam going on and are defrauding their customers and this needs to be stopped. I strongly encourage others to never use this company and they should be shut down.

This company is awful
This company is awful.Ive been a loyal customer as an Uber driver since May. I got the best unlimited package for $39.95. They actually take $*** every month.Today I noticed that they charged two of my accounts the *** for the month. *** never had two cars getting washed at a time. I rented a Tesla in June and July and they allegedly transferred the account to the Tesla since thats the only car I was washing at that time. These charges started in May.They never transferred the account properly. They simply just added another charge and started charging for two cars I called customer service and the customer service of this company is terrible. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes before finally talking to someone. Then she put me on hold again and hung up on *** called back and was on hold another 15 minutes. This lady did nothing but basically say I was lying. This is the worst company Ive dealt with and Ive dealt with some pretty terrible companies.I didnt notice until now that these double-charges were occurring because I dont pay close enough attention, usually. Im low on funds so $60 extra being taken is important right now. They offered to refund two months, but that doesnt cover what they wrongly took. They admitted that they were charging for both cars, yet I never added a car. I transferred the account to the Tesla in June and July. Ive had nothing but good experiences with this company until now, but this is a serious no-no. They owe me $460 and offered to refund $120. I will be taking them to small claims court asap, unless this is resolved immediately. At that point itll cost them more because of the time they are wasting of mine. Pictured are the last 4 digits of the cards being charged and the exact dates of the charges.

I got my car washed 7/22 and told the man I did not want to purchase a monthly membership and went through the wash. When reviewing my bank account yesterday, 9/22, I have been charged TWICE for a *** monthly membership from this car wash that I did not authorize. I have canceled online and submitted a complaint, sent an email response back to my cancellation confirmation, AND attempted to call them but nobody answers. I will be contacting my bank today and reporting it as a fraudulent charge as I did not authorize it. It appears this is a common issue based on other reviews.
An attendant asked what wash package I wanted when I drove up. I frequent this facility maybe once or twice a year... I don't wash my car often at all. I asked for the most basic wash which I believe is $10. The Attendant said they were running a "special" today and he offered me the ten dollar wash for five. He then asked for my card to swipe and then my phone number to punch in for the special... He said I would get a text and just ignore them. That was in May on the 6th... Since then WITHOUT MY KNOWING, I have been getting recurring charges that I was completely unaware of. Two months charged an undisclosed amount, and then another two months charged a similar undisclosed amount. The attendant DID NOT INFORM ME I WAS SIGNING UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP! This is so completely scandalous, deceitful, and unethical. I will tell everyone I know NOT to use this facility ever. I did call to correct the situation and the customer service said that I used the membership so I must have agreed to use it. This is such nonsense... don't you think if I signed up for unlimited washes I would use it every week... I own a 12 year old Corolla that has more paint chips than paint. NO, I would not sign up for an unlimited car wash program... I want to be refunded the $91.80 that was taken from me. Unbelievable.
I go to car wash 3 or 4 times per year to the maximum. I went to this car facility back in March 2022 and had requested for a basic car wash for $5. But since April I see a charge of $17.95. I never requested for a membership but they have been charging without any notification since April. Also, since June they increased it to $27.95. When entering the facilty in the next two times for a basic car wash, the checkpost opened automatically and when I asked the attendant, he said it must be complimentary and I need not worry. This is very deceitful charging customers for services they did not intend to purchase. I want the charges of $176 for the last 7 months to be refunded.
Car collision at car wash on July 8th 2022
On July 8th 2022, I took my car for a wash at Super Star Car Wash near a major intersection and the I-10. I have a membership there. As my family and I went through the wash tunnel, it stopped abruptly. Soon after, my SUV was hit from behind. Exiting the tunnel, we found the other vehicle was unmanned. An employee had failed to set it to neutral for a courtesy wash, causing the collision. Disputes with the manager about filing a report ensued, but I insisted. They wanted to avoid an insurance claim, but acknowledged their liability. I was told the vehicle owner behind us wasn't informed due to no apparent damage, a decision I questioned. Promised a follow-up within 24 hours, I received none and reached out on July 11th. The Vice President of Operations responded, promising contact from a District Manager. After persistent communication, we got a repair quote from their recommended shop. Throughout, I had no contact with the car wash's insurance.

Super Star Car Wash Incident
Super Star Car Wash. Sunday morning September 15, 2022, around 9:30 am, I was going through the car wash tunnel with two vehicles ahead and one behind. Midway, a truck stopped without brake lights, obscured by water and suds on my windshield. My car was pushed into the truck repeatedly before I could brake. The equipment ran for several minutes. The lead car had issues, halting conveyor movement. I spoke with the manager about the lack of emergency shutdown. He cited only end-tunnel sensors and limited staff oversight. He blamed the lead car for my damages. Those vehicles left immediately post-incident. I obtained a video from an employee the next day. The manager later dismissed responsibility, directing me to the lead car's owner. Corporate, contacted next, has not followed up after a week. My late model car sustained over $2600 in damages to the grill and sensor cover, with no accountability from the car wash for their unsafe equipment and inadequate staffing.

On 8/31/22 at 5pm, I visited the Super Star Car Wash.
On 8/31/22 at 5pm, I visited the Super Star Car Wash. The car wash damaged the left rear quarter panel of my truck as the brushes left swirling scratches in the paint. I did not observe the damage at the time of the wash due to the lighting or I would have notified the location at that time. When I got home and got out of my truck, I immediately noticed the scratches as my driveway is lit up and they were obvious in the lighting. I did report it that night to the Super Star Car Wash Website, and a representative emailed me the following day and asked if I had filled out a Customer Service Request (CSR). I had not and informed her I would go back to the store later in the day to do so. I went back to the store on 9/1/22 and filled out a CSR. The store manager took pictures of the damage and gathered all of the required information. He said a member of district or regional management would review the information and the video of the incident and get in touch with me. I did not hear from them and went back to the store on 9/7/22. I met with the same manager and he apologized about the issue and said he would reach out to them again. He said he would make sure he got a hold of them and that I would be receiving a call as soon as possible. On 9/15/22, I still had not heard from the district or regional management team and emailed the representative about the situation. Her response was that the claim was denied since a CSR was not filled out at the time of the wash but she would contact management and have them call me. As mentioned earlier, the scratches were not visible in the light provided at the car wash location or I would have filled out the form. As of 9/29/22, I still have not received a call to resolve which is not acceptable. Attached are pictures of the damage for reference.

My car was damaged during the following situation and the company has not contacted me back after I have called, I emailed, and submitted a complaint through their online portal. When I arrived at the car wash the employee working was not at his station and I had to wait a considerable amount of time for him to come outside. After he came outside, he looked extremely unhappy and I almost made a joke about how much he loved his job but decided to keep it to himself as he might have just been having a bad day.As I approached the car wash there seemed to be a lack of concern about how I was getting onto the tracks and while he handed me an air freshener and wipe something started to scrape against the track. At that point, the employee yelled at me to not put on my break and make sure the car was in neutral. I assured him that I was not using my break and my car was in neutral. If that was the case and my car was grinding on the track, I feel like the process should have been stopped to ensure everyone was safe and I was on the tracks properly. However, that did not happen. I rolled up my window and proceeded to go through the car wash. About midway through, I started to hear a significant amount of grinding and eventually was thrown off of the track. As you can imagine this was a fairly traumatic experience . I then had to honk my horn for a considerable amount of time for the wash to be stopped and eventually the manager on shift who I was informed was a third key came to assist me. He was a very cocky individual and when approaching my car asked me what was going on. I informed him that I had no idea what was going on and he started to accuse me of having my break on or not being in neutral. I assured him that this was not the case but he continued to blame me for his lack of performance and getting my car on the tracks. My car was damaged and I think this company should be held accountable for their employees actions.

On Labor Day, I bought a car detail for my Tundra at a specific location and got a complimentary wash.
On Labor Day, I bought a car detail service for my Tundra and received a complimentary car wash. I appreciate the thorough cleaning done by an employee at the 99th location previously. That day, I took my Tundra there, and it had to stay all day due to their workload. There was confusion with the original purchase, so I bought another service to simplify things. At closing time, when I retrieved my Tundra, the employee mentioned any issues should be reported the next day. I informed him the following day about uncleaned seats, a subpar wash, and a broken driver's seat recliner attachment. We agreed I'd return on Friday. He acknowledged the broken part but was too busy to discuss the claim when I arrived. Later, the manager claimed the damage predated the service, which I disputed. We hadn't discussed it beyond his initial acknowledgment. The staff concluded the damage was pre-existing without my confirmation, suggesting a need for a sign-off process for such issues. This assumption led to a disappointing experience, and I won't return to Super Car Wash, especially since a temporary fix was used on the broken part. I want to file a claim and suggest they refine their procedures for better customer service.

I enrolled at Super Star Car Wash Express in May expecting my monthly car wash fee to be $14.95.
I enrolled at Super Star Car Wash Express in May expecting my monthly car wash membership to be charged at $14.95. Initially, all was well until December 15, when I saw a pending charge of $24.95 from the car wash on my card. I emailed them the same day to cancel my membership and to confirm no further charges. They promptly confirmed the cancellation. I then reached out to my bank to dispute the unexpected charge. I believe Super Star Car Wash had no right to increase the charge without proper notification. After contacting their corporate office, I was informed the $14.95 was a promotional rate for six months, which was not disclosed to me at sign-up. The representative apologized but refused to refund the charge. Such deceptive practices by this car wash company are unacceptable and must be challenged.

On 8/27/22, during 11 AM to a specific time, at a certain location, an incident occurred.
On 8/27/22, during the hours of 11 AM to a specific time, at a certain location, an attendant with an unspecified badge asked what wash package I wanted. I opted for the most basic wash. He recommended a small upgrade to the $10 wash, which I accepted. He then mentioned a special offer, giving me the $10 wash for $5. After thanking him, he requested my card. I hesitated, wondering why he didn't let me use the touchscreen, but I handed it over. He swiped my card and then asked for my phone number, which I refused to provide. He claimed he would invent one, inputting numbers I couldn't see. Next, he requested my email address. Questioning the necessity for a simple wash, I was told it was for the discount. I decided to pay the full $10 instead. Despite this, he entered a fictitious email and informed me that he had signed me up for a monthly subscription service without my consent. I protested, stating that his actions were fraudulent and possibly illegal. After the wash, I was directed to the office where the attendant insulted me and threatened physical violence. This behavior is indicative of a scam operation: offering fake deals, making unauthorized charges, and intimidating customers who object. He even swapped my receipt with a different one, further evidence of unethical and illegal practices. See attached pictures for proof.

I used Super Star Car Wash on *** in ***, **
I used Super Star Car Wash on *** in ***, . on June 21st, 2022 because it is fairly close to my work and needed to wash my car. The cost to do so was $14.00. I had never used Super Star Car Wash after this initial car wash on June 21, 2022.Unbeknownst to me I have been charged on my debit card $22.95 on July 19th, Aug. 19th, Sept. 19th and Oct. 19th of 2022 (4 times) by Super Star Car Wash. I finally realized it on my bank statement when the Oct. payment was being processed. I called my bank to dispute the charge and they said it was a membership that I had signed up for. Then I learned I had been charge the 3 previous months also. I had my bank stop on all payments to Super Star Car Wash going forward and they also sent me a link to fill out a claim form to try and get the previous charges refunded but they said I needed to also call Super Star Car Wash to also make an effort to get it back from them. WHAT A SCAM. If I knew I was signing up for a membership that was going to cost me $22.95 each month at the time I would not have agreed to this, what so ever. I called the *** number for Super Star Car Wash and was trying to keep myself calm from not going postal on the lady answering the phone and I was able to at least get 3 months back refunded to me via my debit card but is going to take 3 to 5 business days to come through to my bank account. We will see if it comes through and I will be checking everyday until it is refunded. The reason I came across the Complaintsboard.com's website is Googling Super Star Wash Scam and the Complaintsboard.com's site comes up where I find numerous other people complaining about the exact same SCAM with Super Star Car Wash almost verbatim. Super Star Car Wash needs to get their business license yanked if this is still continuing. I explained to the lady on the phone that this was totally deceitful and wrong of allowing this to continue but I think it went in one ear and out the other. DO NOT USE SUPER STAR CAR WASH!

After several back and forth questions as to why he asked me to have my car detailed today and then say no when I said I had a gift card, *** said that they keep the available spots open for customers paying Full Price. I asked him to look at my purchase history to show that I have driven up on at least three separate occasions in the past, purchased the *** at a negotiated price each time, which just so happens to be the same price negotiated for the pre-paid gift card service, and service was rendered over the next couple hours each time.I asked for management on duty to discuss the matter and help me understand why I could not use my gift card for the desired *** after *** asked if I would like a *** today. *** approached and I explained my frustration and he proceeded to tell me that he did NOT have slots available today for a *** and that it has to be scheduled, even-though *** just asked me if I wanted a *** today, TWICE!After giving management on duty the opportunity to resolve the matter, I left frustrated and wondering how many other customers have to go through the same thing and possibly just give up

I wanted to express my concern for the conversation I had on 8/9, which felt very biased. It was almost as if my experience meant nothing since he already spoke to the worker trying to cover up the incident by making me leave the property after the damage. The person ended our phone call abruptly. I was shocked that as a concerned customer, I was dismissed, instead of being listened to and possibly offered a solution. This situation reminded me of being at the car wash, where everyone tried to dismiss me, lie, and pretend nothing happened to my car. He chose to deny responsibility even after two of his workers mishandled my bumper, causing further damage. No one assisted me after the incident. After the car wash, I couldn't find anyone to help until I blocked the entrance. I called the police when I was denied access to the surveillance footage. The police were concerned about the poor camera quality. I question how the facility could assess my bumper damage with such poor imaging and quickly decide they were not at fault. This is a dealership maintained vehicle. Claiming that they inspected five cars before and after mine doesn't hold up, as this type of incident is rare. The equipment damaged my bumper. No similar cases with 2016 Camrys were found on the tapes. My car had no prior damage; my bumper was intact. This incident and the subsequent treatment have been very revealing. The facility failed to keep the property safe for my vehicle, showing negligence on their part and on the part of the employees who mishandled my bumper.
