Tata Motors feedback

Sir,
I sourav shankar really sorry to say that I am not satisfied with the service provided by aastha motors, patna (bihar). we have two cars from tata motors only because of the name and fame of tata. but the service provided by guinea motors, patna (bihar) can't be neglected and yes! I appreciate. but in aastha motors, the employee are not well behaved, the way of talking is really pathetic and rediculous. they gave us car in little bit good condition but after my interuption.
when I requested for the feedback form, they tried to show as they don't know what the feedback form is. I discussed about it and let them understand then they told me that they could not give me as the forms were not available. they also said that they did not know where it has been kept. so, I decided to give my views through mail.

Tata Motors Worst Service Ever

CMR Humansdorp purchases a TATA Telcoline Bakkie during March 2005 which we serviced on a regular basis (10000km - 31/3/05, 20000 - 12/2/2007, 30000km - 17/11/2008 and 42192 on 25/9/2009). The bakkie broke down with 47037km, only 4845km after the previous service and less than six months later. TATA Humansdorp gave us a quote for the amount of R19, 842.20. We had to wait approximately six months before recieving the bakkie back and paying R21, 869.15 for the repairs. Less than a year after these rapairs and less than 10, 000km further the bakkie broke down again. Quotation to repair was R21, 743.50 (Humansdorp). We had to tow the bakkie to TATA Port Elizabeth and waited almost three months to recieve it back. Less thant 100km further the bakkie broke down again, same symptoms as before. We made numerous calls to TATA (Ansie in Johannesburg - [protected] and Barbara Port Elizabeth - [protected], without any joy. We are becoming very irate with TATA who does not deliver and does not give any guarantee on their work. Please assist us with this matter.

Tata Motors bad engne performance

We'd purchased indica vista aura quadra jet on 23/6/2009. we took the car from m/s. ashish automobiles, bilaspur. from the date we'd purchased the car, we r continously facing d problems and due to that problems it has ran till date 14800km and it has been in servicing centre most of the time. then also till date not a single problem has been solved. problems are:
1. back compresser
2. engine heating
3. shoratge of coolen before 3 months
4. less average
5. loss of mobile

We are totaly disappointed from the tata company by purchasing the car. kindly solve my problem as soon as possible by exchanging the car since it has been in warranty period also. customer feed back service is also nil!

Tata Motors no service

Saagar pradeep rana a customer of tata motors is literally being harrased by the company. my vehivle i. e tata safari (dl 3c ac 8956) broke down twice in four months beacause of no reason and which has been timely seviced by the company it self. on saturday night the car did not start so I called the tata help line, an assisiance came and told thae there is some problem with the timing belt and the car will have to be towed away with the help of a crane. the next day was a sunday so they gave me an excuse and said on monday they will take the car. then there was no response on monday as well. then on tuesday an executive of tata motors mr. gumeet pal singh called me and said that the car will have to be taken to noida as there is no availability of parts in delhi service station. then round 2pm they towed the car and took it to rama motors okhla< new delhi, but the people at rama motors refused to take the car. my car is standing on the road since then and I am trying to call mr gumeet pal singh, but hisphone is not reachable. the car is under the extended warranty till 2005. I kindly request to help me as I am not able to get any kind of help from the company. this kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

Tata Motors harassement, defective piece sold to me

Respective sir,

I wish to place before you the following matter in which defective tata indigo manza was provided to me by tata motors.

I bought my indigo manza (diesel version) on 10th december 2010 (based on satisfactory results from my previous indigo which is still used by me) from hind motors chandigarh under

Since the day I bought my new car I was happy as it was manufactured by tata - on of the trusted company in india.

But after one month 16 jan 2011 gave me the hint that I have received defective mode when I was going back to my home. the vehicle"s accelerator stop responding all of a sudden when the vehicle is running at 80 to 90 kmph, and this puts my life in a danger and that times I have escaped minorly from accident. I immediately called up on your toll free number and informed about the problem, and then next day 17-01-11 it sent it to hind motors mohali (punjab). I aware them about the problem but after spent the whole day, the problem did not resolve. and I was surprised, they were not able to rectify the problem. and that time the car automatically started up, don’t know how, and I came back to home with same problem,
Next day on 18-01-11 the same problem occurred and car stop responding to start, then I called up the breakdown department, they sent the mechanic but he failed to start the car, then they sent the flat bed for toeing the car on same day, then I sent my car to hind motors chandigarh, then they kept my car for 3 days, and after 3 days they said the car is ok, and they have changed the fuel pump but didn’t mention on bill, and they didn’t have in their stock, that’s why they changed the pump with another car owned by company’ s service part manager mr. bansal. this answer gave me again mental tension, it means they can changed any part of new car with another car, nobody can trace the original part, but when I reached near my house again I faced the same problem, I was very upset after 3 days the agency made me fool and harassed me, even the problem was as it is,
Again on 22-01-11 the car was not started up then I again called up on toll free number they again sent the flat bed and this time I sent my car to joshi auto zone chandigarh, I gave my car to joshi auto zone for repairing and I handed over on 22-01-11 and on 26-01-11 the agency handed over back my car to me and said the problem was rectify, the cause of problem was air mass sensor, they have changed it, and now car is absolutely ok, I was very happy to know that,
But again after 1 month, on 15-03-11 the problem came again with same affect, this time again I have escaped from accident, car stop responding when I was overtaking the another vehicle. next day on 16-03-11 I went to hind motors mohali (punjab) with same problem, after spent whole day they told me the problem is rectified and the problem is egr (exhaust gas regulator), this time they don’t have in their stock and it will take one week, but couldn’t able to satisfy me and again sent the car with problem, I was surprised to know that they were not taking any responsibility for customer” life,
Once again on 21-03-11 the car stop responding to start, as usual again I called up on breakdown service and on 22-03-11 they again sent the flat bed to my home, and car sent to hind motors chandigarh, from 22-03-11 till date at least from last one week, the car is standing at hind motors, once again I am only receiving fake promises to rectify the problem, but till date couldn’t get my car back,
Three times I have sent my car on flat bed to all agencies of chandigarh and mohali (hind motors mohali, hind motors chandigarh and joshi auto zone) and every time felt embarrass and people asked me about the problem, I found all of them irresponsible and no proper justification was given to me for keeping my car for a such a long time.
I really very upset and I have made my mind I will never buy any car made by tata motors. so many times I have escaped from accident, I was lucky that’s why I am safe, but your company ahs already decided to kill me, I don’t want to loss my life, I have a family to support.
Only because of your company I am facing harassment, tension and financial loss,
I am sending the same letter to my insurance company, if anything wrong happening with my car then the tata motors will be responsible for any accident.

I want tata motors to,

1) take action against all mentioned agencies.
2) replace the product or repair it fully to my satisfaction.
Otherwise I am going to consumer court, media and tv channels for this injustice and harassment

I do hope some action is taken against this complaint.

I Veenu Tandon purchased Nano Lx car on 01/04/2011 from Techno Automobiles Pvt Ltd, Dwarka. Invoice number is TechAu-R-[protected], and the car’s purchase receipt number TechAu-R-[protected].The car was driven only for 87km till 6th April 2011 at 7:00am and the car’s burned on the Road and never started again. I call mechanics from Techno Automobiles (p) ltd to repair it because of the poor quality of car. When contacting the company they failed to repair the car. After financing 2.40lakh for purchasing the car and it was done only 87km. I tried to contact the company regarding this issue but still there is no response from them. I am calling the company again and again but still no proper response from the company. The company has to replace my car or my refund my cash.
Kindly take an action as soon as possible.

Tata Motors indigo xl tdi

Unworthy product was pushed by the sale person to us, of 10000 kms driven we have had lot of complaints from tires, dashboard vibration, fuel sensor, battery, belt adjuster pulley which connects power streing and breaks, the pulley broke in the middle of a ride with guest in it and was not able to apply break and contrel the streeing wheel. and we ended up hitting a divider in the corner of the road... and when contacted the helpline we never got any response for 48 hours. we by own toed the car for 200kms to the service center in cuddalore. previous complainets was not serviced to the mark. complinet date 19-03-2011 no response was recived till 21st morning 1 am. when contected the sales manager and the works manager about the complaint they tried to convince me and not accept the problem and the fault in the product. they say that the complaints are normal and it happens in every tata indigo tdi engine. so why this product with lost of complaints sold to us are we the one one to be played with for this worthless product. whatever problem we say they tell its vendors fault then why should we buy a car from tata we can buy it from your vendors. we are fedup with this car and tata moters service and response to the customers. we would have gome for maheindra logan or ford fiesta for buying this trouble as we already own these two cars which are far more better then tata. need immediate response for at least this complaint. as we have not yet got any communication so far

Tata Motors TATA South Africa not honest towards consumers

How does a consumer know what he is actually purchasing? So often consumers are enticed to buy a motor vehicle through clever advertising and hard to resist offers, but most of the time the consumer is not really aware of what he is actually buying.
It is with much concern and disappointment that I too purchased a Tata vehicle under a complete misconception last year. I purchased the vehicle in the month of April 2010. I was informed that the vehicle was a 2010 model. 8 months later, i am experiencing numerous technical and mechanical problems with the vehicle. After some investigating and consultation, i discovered to my dismay that the vehicle was actually built in the year of 2006 in India, so in other words the vehicle stood in storage for +- four years. Had i known this previously I would never have purchased said vehicle. We all know that when a vehicle stands that “wear and tear” still takes place. Tata South Africa tried to reassure me that the vehicle was inspected in October 2009, but to me this is not good enough, as technology changes all the time, and in fact I purchased a 2006 vehicle at a 2010 price (in other words an old car with old technology at a new updated price). Tata has requested that I take the car to the nearest dealer to be assessed, but will it have to be repaired at my own cost? Tata also claims that the model of a car is determined not by the year wherein it is manufactured but by the year in which it is first registered with the South African Licencing Authorities. So in other words should a car stand in storage for 10 years and then be sold its model would be 2016 (to me this is dishonest and misleading).
My concern is just that is this happening throughout the motor industry, or is it only Tata that is not honest with consumers. During the recession so many newly manufactured cars were not sold, does this mean that those same cars will now be pawned off to consumers by using clever hard to resist offers at new updated prices and sold as 2011 models?

Tata Motors poor customer service

My car (tata indica) broke down in ghatkopar (mumbai, maharashtra, india). I repeatedly contacted the customer service helpline for tata motors ([protected]) however, the customer service representative was more interested in up selling rather than helping me out of the situation. the name of the reps I spoke to were abdul rehman and vishal. I repeatedly told them that I dont want any policy and need a mechanic, hoever they did not pay any head to the same. when asked for a supervisor, I was told that they would not transfer and I have no other option but to speak to them only. also if I do not buy the one year free service policy worth rs-500.00 I will not get any service from them. what are tata motors upto is what I would like to understand. both were rude, arrogant and completely incoperative. I believe the helpline made by tata is not to help the customer but to harrase them. I had to contact a local mechanic leaving my car in the middle of the road and get it fixed by paying extra. no wonder this is the reason why people opt for other car manufacturers above tata. poor customer service, rather worst customer service I can say. the whole fault was only a small electrical glith and I had to shell out rs-1000.00 for that.

I purchased a linea on 25th june 2009 and at 45000km the engine just stopped. i am a good lover of my car and it still looks new. For the past one month it is at the service centre and no one is bothered to give me any status . whom do i complain now? Very bad service from TATA

To Whom It May Concern:

RE : AFTER SALES SERVICE

With reference to the above mentioned issue.

I would like to bring to your attention and express my dissatisfaction regarding the previous service carried out on a 2008 TATA Telcoline Bakkie, MAT37402169R33607, Registration Number : XYY 536 GP, this also causing a serious problem in return also causing an amount of damage that TATA has inform that they will not be held liable.

On the 17th May 2010 the TATA Bakkie was booked in for a 30, 000km service as this vehicle has been purchased with a maintenance plan, the odometer reading was +/- 6, 000km over the service reading and in return the vehicle was booked in for a service which duly took place. On the 20th July 2010 one of our employees one her way home experienced several problems with the vehicle when the bonnet latch came loose causing it to flip up and damage the windscreen ( See attached notes of events that took place on the 20th July 2010 ). On the 21st July 2010 we immediately contacted TATA East Rand to inform them of the problem which in return a Mr. Donald Struthers was sent out to our premises to inspect the situation the following day being the 22nd July 2010. We were later notified that TATA Head office would handle this request and they will inform us of the steps that would be taken, +/- 4 Weeks went by when we received a letter from a Mr. Schalk Lubbe informing us of their findings. ( See attached Letter ). When a problem arises with a customer, I tend to find a solution to the problem, why is it we had to wait a month later to be informed? I do not handle any customer better than the other and in return do not expect to be treated like that either.

As General Manager of the above mentioned company, when servicing a machine or vehicle certain procedures have to be carried out including a checklist before and after a service to make sure all bolts are tightened and no locks or latched are loose including the stamp of service in the records book, this was clearly not done and as stated in Mr. Lubbe’s letter due to the vehicle being over 30, 000km’s they will not and cannot be held responsible for the damage of the windscreen, in my opinion had the vehicle odometer reading be less than 30, 000km’s then TATA South Africa would contemplate replacing the windscreen at their cost?, that is what the letter states, if you kindly read through it.

The vehicle is currently at TATA East Rand, which they have informed us that the minor problems that we were experiencing have been tended to BUT not the windscreen, Quarry Master is a company that excels in the service and delivery in the mining and aggregate industry, we have a fleet of vehicles that also need replacing and in 2008 when Mr. du Toit purchased the vehicle we seriously thought of changing the whole fleet over to TATA but now with the series of events not even to speak of service we will remain with our fleet who is currently with NISSAN.

I have also informed the Complaints Board of South Africa of this situation as this is unacceptable and ask for your immediate attention in this regard, this is a company vehicle and is needed in the field to carry out work, we ask for this to be handled URGENTLY and your most favorable response in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Tata Motors about spare parts

I bought a tata sumo victa di ex 9 seater on 08-03-2010 from roshan motors jaipur (rajasthan) my vehicle at this time in your worksoap in alwar (rajasthan) from 26/06/2010 a spare part named "vibration demper" no.[protected]. your dealer is said that the particular part is not available in company. due to this my business is suffering. so I request you to look into my matter and solve my problem as early as soon. satish chand arya [protected]

I couldn't find parts of sumo grande(dicor2.2) anywhere in j&k even in your authorised shops or service stations. you should have first distribute parts in market than launch the product.I am very much disappointed and unhappy with your service.My car is in workshop for last 20 days.what should I do ?

Tata Motors dissatisfaction at tata motor service

Proper response was not given by the dealer at the time of delivery of my car. air filter indicator was found broken which was later not repaired and when I found the same I was told that it was broken when I gave my car for service. if it was broken then it shuold have been informed when the job card was getting prepared but it was not done.. secondly the service quality is also very poor at kamal motors a dealer of tata at jaipur. prior to this I have also come across some other customers which have complained that the engine oil also has not been changed even after the customer has paid for it. all these things are creating a big dent to the image of tata motors in jaipur. please resolve my complaint utrgently.

Tata Motors NO PARTS AVAILABLE AT SERVICE CENTRE

I OWN A TATA INDIGO. ONE DAY WHEN I STARTED THE CAR RADIATOR AND A.C. CONDENSOR FAN STARTED SIMULTANEUSLY AND THE CAR TEMP WAS NOT HIGH. I TOOK THE CAR TO TATA SERVICE CENTRE IB MOTORS JAMNAGAR THEY DIAGNOSED THE FAULT AND SAID THAT THE ECU OF THE CAR WAS FAULTY I SAID THEM TO REPLACE IT THEY ORDERED IT TO TATA MOTORS AFTER 15 DAYS THE PART ARRIVES AND THE SERVICE ENGINEER SAYS THAT IT IS THE PART OF THE TATA SUMO AND I AM FEELING VERY INCONVINIENT BECAUSE MY CAR IS AT THE SERVICE CENTRE SINCE 1 MONTH
IS THIS THE SERVICE OF TATA MOTORS WHO CANT SEND A PART IN 1 MONTH DURATION

Tata Motors Terrible Service - 2 months without my vehicle

Complaint description:
My car went in for a replacement Intercooler (Tata Safari 2 x 4 DiCor Diesel SUV). it has 25000 km on the Odo. Bought for R250K in Aug 2009 from Tata Pta Central. This was at the end of January / beginning of February. I waited 4 weeks before they got the Intercooler and "fixed" my vehicle. I got it back on the Tuesday after asking them to MAKE SURE EVERYTHING was fine and to test drive it. They gave me the vehicle and I drove it out of the garage. It had no power under 2000 revs until the turbo kisked in and then I had a bit of power but the car was jerking and spluttering. I got to JHB where I live in Houghton and drove back to the garage in PTA on the Wednesday. They farted and fiddled and changed an injector and I left and the vehicle was worse. I got it home again and was on my way BACK there (JHB to PTA) on the Friday morning when it stopped completely at Allandale Road. I got it to a garage where I waited 3 hours (and 15 calls to them at Tata PTA) before I got any tangible help. i.e. The arrangement that I could leave the vehicle at the garage with the keys at the shop so the Tata Roadside Assist (contradiction of terms)could collect it from there and take it to the Tata Midrand Dealership (because they would not take it to Pretoria). I called Midrand Tata on Monday morning and the vehicle had not EVEN been collected from where I had left it on the Friday. I phoned head office and spoke to Schalk in the MD's office (I think) and he made sure it got taken to Midrand. It was there the whole week til Thursday (last week) and I was quoted R1048.oo for a new fuel filter and R 100 of diesel because "the problem was dirty fuel" so they had to drain all my diesel and replace the filter. I drove out of there at 18:45 on Thursday evening and it did exactly what it had done on the Friday morning the week before and quit on me. So I phone Tata Roadside assist and got a message saying their hours of business were 8am - 5pm (what good is that). So I called MiWay Roadside Assist and they were there within 45 min and towed it back to Tata Midrand. I have spent R4000 + on the Intercooler, a further R1048 on the fuel filter, fuel and labor (when that was obviously NOT even the problem), lost 22 hours of my consulting time at R350 / Hour, have not had my vehicle for 8 weeks now, had to cancel my holiday last week even though I had to take the leave I had applied for because I could cancel it at such short notice, and have now had enough! I called Tata Midrand this morning and spoke to Gerry who informed me that I had a blown head gasket which would take another week to fix, but he is sure it can be done under warranty.(I should hope so). I have a good mind to sue Tata for all my lost income and the money I have had to GIVE them with NOTHING in return.

And refund me ALL my money spent at Tata so far, including the Intercooler costs, and make sure it has a FULL tank of diesel when it comes back AND make sure it is clean, AND deliver it to me at work or at home (I am tired of driving back and forth).

Tata Motors dissatisfying service

I own a tata indigo (cs-dicor, registration number – hr16-g-5551
) bought on 27th aug 2017 from telmos automobiles hissar, haryana. the details of the vehicle are as follows

Till date I have faced the following problems with this vehicle
1) abrupt noises from the engine (feb 2017) – this problem was reported to tata motors service stations in mathura, palwal, gurgaon and faridabad. finally after 10 days, the problem was resolved in gurgaon. we are as yet unaware of the exact root cause and the solution provided for the problem. this problem was reported and resolved while the vehicle was still under company warranty.
2) clutch plate not working properly (nov 2017) – this issue was reported to tata motors service station in rohtak and hissar. even though the warranty period was still valid, this was not covered under warranty and the entire replacement was fully paid for by me. after the service when we were asked to sign a form of satisfactory service by the service center staff, which we refused since the clutch plate problem was not resolved and finally it had to be taken to hissar service station for resolution.
3) sudden engine failure (dec 2017) – the engine stopped abruptly and vehicle did not start up again. at tata motors service station in rohtak we were told that the “water pump/body of the car is not working and the same will not be covered under our vehicle warranty”.

We were given strong indications by the rohtak service station staff that our failure to sign the satisfactory note could create a problem for us in the future and it is quite clear that the current adamant behavior of the rohtak service station staff is directly related to our earlier dealing with them.

We request your urgent intervention to address our genuine concerns and also to discipline the concerned staff.

We have purchased a tata sumo grande on dated 27.01.2017 and till date it has run 60, 000 km and today we are facing engine problem for which we have book complaint on toll free no [protected] vide complain no 1-[protected] dated 04.05.2017. the concern service centre saying that, it is totaly engine fult, it will be costing around rs. 1, 00, 000.

Hope, as the vehicle has run only 60, 000 km, we must get warrenty facility.

I got my indica in 2017. since da start iv been facing trouble with da car and sent it for service. the fuel tank of da car has sum issue with it. despite a full fuel tank the meter always shows 1/4 less. I have so far never seen the meter reflecting a full fuel tank. this is amonst the many issues told to ppl at auto link who were asked to service my car. small errors I have neglected. last month I again sent my car for a service as I was facing a lot of trouble. the car wouldnt start... or while on road the speed meter would suddnly stop workin.. or the ac would stop workin and at times the vipers would start automatically along with the car using a lot of fuel. 350 km on a full tank. I think even pertrol cars give better performance.

When the car was sent for service I specifically told the genbtelman that I would need the car by the next day. and was told that the team would do thir best. to my utter dismay the car was not ready. the next day was 15th of august a saturday n sunday the showreoom was closed. my car was returned on monday evening. I did not have a chance to test the car as I was not in the city I however did recive a call from autolink asking about the quality of service. I informed manoj dat I was not in town and hence have not tested the vehicle. to this he requested sayin that I would be reciving a call from tata motors for feedback of the kind of service given and pleaded that I say service was gud which I did on human grounds.

Since the service last week my car again refused to start n upon check it came to our notice that there was no battery water in the battery n the battry had to be replaced. this should have been part of the service. I am still facing the same problems with the speedometer and ac and for some reason my car wont start proper now. I called autolinks and spoke to manoj and informed him that I was facing such issues and he was extremly rude. I said I have already paid for the wiring change and all and again in an extremly nasty tone the gentelman told me that I would be required to pay for what so ever changes have been done if they are not under warranty.

I would like to inform that tata motors are duping their customers through their 24x7 on road assistance program. after warranty its is a paid service and I have paid rs 550 as fee. as per the terms and conditions of their service contract they are supposed to provide 6 instances of on road assistance which also covers electrical faults. I called up tata motors today asking them to attend to an electrical fault with my vehicle. however, they insisted that since it was day time, I could take my vehicle to tata motors dealership. they wont attend the vehicle since the vehicle can move. this is totally against their own service terms and conditions. nowhere under their 24x7 on road assistance program it is mentioned that the vehicle will be attended only if it is not able to move or the vehicle will not be attended during day time. it is neither mentioned in the exclusions of their service contract. I even spoke to their senior team leader mr mukhtar and got the same arbitary response from him and he was not able to justify his response according to the terms and conditions mentioned in their service contract

I had bought this car in end of december 2017 from auto point, surat. but my complaints remains unattended — 01-car was delivered to me with rear seat belt damaged. 02-central locking is getting locked of its own anytime (even when engine is switched). the problem enhances in humid and damp environment. 03-central locking is not working. 04-wind screen water jets are not powerful. 05-rear wipers jet is not working at all. 06-ac is not effective at all. 07-location of service station is in a remote corner and approach route is through old city. car was serviced once in the month of june but none of the complaints were attended. after a long waiting time car was nicely washed and delivered.

I purchased my vehicle Tata Indica DLS turbo from manipal motors on Sep 13th. It was due to first service on Oct 13th and accordingly i left my vehicle for service. To my horror when i took my vehicle back in evening i found that the perfume bottle was stolen and it was replaced with some junk stuff, there were scratches on my bonnet and sides. The front window has scratches when looked from inside seemed like they just wiped with some dusty cloth. The floor mats were also changed. This is the most ridiculous and cheap mentality of the service people. It brings disgrace to TATA motors. It is a shame on there part. It is our hard earned money we have put on the car and these people take us for ride. Most stupid answer i got from the service advisor " Apply rubbing compund the scratches will go" There was some pan marks on the body as well. After pointing out they wiped it. Overall dirty service i experienced from MANIPAL SERVICE. I request the management of TATA motors please take a look at the dealers, service stations autorized by TATA. Work is not complete just after sales it is service what matters the most. And it is seeming TATA motors do not have capacity to do after sales service and it is the worst of it kind. This is not the same experince i faced with maruti. Thats why maruti are surviving and doing good. TATA people should take training from maruti regarding the service. I like dservice from RNS bangalore. They are really good. Here in Manipal motors i was denied customer drop facility. Totally it was the worst experience i faced in the first service. I wouldnt pay local mechanic to get service done rather done getting it done from authorized TATA dealers.

Dear sir,

I want to bring your kind attention towards a big product default in tata indico car manufactured by your company. any car met with an accident like this is a big product failure and when you are going to make a history by launching many new projects I just want to bring your attention towards this so that you can rectify this error.

Tata indigo lx purchased in 2017 caught fire while coming back from a small drive. me and my wife, my little daughter and my brother were returning from a very small drive on august 15th, 2017. we have a tata indigo purchased in 2017 from ratlam mp. now we are in mumbai. the first one year was fine but after that we are spending some 25-30 k every year to maintain the car at its best. on august 15 th when we were returning from drive and paring our car in our appartments parking lot we saw that smoke started coming out from the leftside of the bonnet. I was unable to open the bonne tand I could see that fire is coming out. I asked my watchmen to put water on bonnet but that was failed. fire was not in our control. then we have used three fire extinguisher but that are also failed then we have to called up fire brigade to control this fire. by the great help of people around we have controlled the fire but the scene was heartbreking, my cars was literally under the fire.

We have called up the fire brigaede as so many other cars were also in parking lot, we know that our car has gone but we just want to avoid major accident as if this car will burst all other car will also affect and this can become a major accident

But it was too late. all the parts under bonnet burned out, including pump, engine etc..! finally after the huge rescue efforts we could control the fire without spreading to cabin or to diesel tank. later I called up the service center guys and they came down to the spot with a recovery van and took the vehicle back to the workshop. now they have estimated a sum of 6 lacs to rebuild it!

The reason for the fire break out is still a mystery. even the workshop guys are not able to find. they are telling it could be short ciruit.

Can anyone tell me that wahat was that... my whole family was on risk... if this could be on the way... then what happened all battery operated things will stopped and we would not be able to come out... I have my whole family with me... I dnt think then I will be able to drive that car again... I am scared... how I will believe on your manufactured products...

Car will be fine afterhuge expense but tell me who will expand 6 lacs on 6 lacs car... and can anyone pay the trauma we have faced...

From motor sales lucknow. the chesis number is 609171cszp51410, engine no. is 1.4dicor5cszw.
I paid for a car phone when I bought my car it was not available at motor sales lucknow I was told I would get it in 2 days time. after repeatively asking for the car phone from the dealer today 12,12,07 I was told it would not be given to me and my money would not be refunded as the reciept had been made on 19,10,07.
If posible please give the car phone or the money should be refunded.
I hope mr. ratan tata reads this complaint about his dealer in lucknow (motor sales) and takes the nessessary action against them.

We purchased tata indica xeta reg. no. tn04 2264 from m/s. concorde motors, chennai on dec 2017 with an extended warranty of 3 years which lapses on nov 2017. recently the airconditioner of the vehicle stopped working. but the service centre m/s vst motors, chennai is asking us to pay for the replacement of compressor inspite of the extended warranty.

Sir,
after repeated follow ups and innumerable visits to bharti automobiles for servicing and and almost 5 milage test my vehicle mh 02. by 80084 still does not give me an acceptable average. I have an average of only 11 kmpl. I have attached here with the mileage test done with by your representative at bharti automobiles. your service centre bharti motors have serviced & tried to recttify defect but without any success. as a result İ am suffering heavy losses on account of double fuel consumption.
You are therefore do the needful to replace the vehicle & compensate losses suffered by me on account higher fuel, inconveniences and physical and mental torture suffered by us. any further delay in the same would compel us to take legal advise on the matter.

I purchased a sumo grande from joshi auto zone chandigarh on 23 jan 09. whn I purchased the vehicle my father went their to take deliver from rohtak haryana and reached there at 11 am but he was shown the vehicle at 6 pm in evening in dark. when we saw the vehicle in the morning we found that the interiors were dirty with stains on roof and seats. the same was conveyed to joshi auto zone telephonically. the vehicle also had funny feature which were not part of any of the variants. at a lter stage we came to know that various features that were provided did not vene have switch to operate them.
I me with a major accident in lucknow and when I took the vehicle to tata authorised service station in lucknow, to my surprise they asked me to pay in advance the repair cost despite a cashless policy. I was in for more surprise when I came to know that joshi auto zone has fooled me in the giving a policy in name of cashless policy which actually was cashless only at joshi auto zone.
Finally I had to send the vehicle to joshi auto zone chandigarh paying over rs 10000.00. jashi auto zone took over 2 months to repair the vehicle. when I went to take the delivery I was asked to provide a copy of fir, which I was never asked for while giving the vehicle for repair. I was refused the delivery despite no such provision which necessitated me to provide one as there was no third party loss. I finally had to take help of local police to get my vehicle.
The vehicle had numerous problems which I came to know subsequently. the repair was bad and joshi auto zone had resorted to cheating wherein they had repaired a major part and charged for its replacement which was worth approximately rs 20000.00. there were many more problems which were brought to the notice of joshi auto zone and tata motors.
Tata motors till date, after over two years of delay have made numerous attempts of repairing my vehicle to my satisfaction but has filed in doing so. my vehicle had been with their service stations for almost over 8 months leaving me without any vehicle on numerous occasions.
The condition is so bad that they have tried to change the roof lining 6 times but everytime they could manage only a defective roof. finally they changed the roof lining with the least damaged one. the dashboard had to be changed and they changed it with a dashboard with different shade. mr girish deshpande, a very senior person in tata motors told me that they probably have changed the shade of interiros and I will have to live with this different shade dashboard.
The engine is being making excessively high noise which they say cannt be repaired and technically isnt a fault as the vehicle is working normally. sitting inside it appears as if I am sitting on a tractor.
The electricals of the vehicle had been giving problem and I have to frequently visit the service station for some or the other problems. to my estimate the amount spent in bringing my vehicle to acceptable level would have been over 2 lacs if I were to pay for all those. now if this is the condition in forst two years I am afraid I will not be able to maintain the vehicle in future.
Recently whicle driving, chasis of the vehicle gaveup and luckily for me I with my wife escaped a major life threatening accident that could have occured because of this. when I took the vehicle for the repairs I was fooled into believeing that the chassis broke due to accident, whic did not damage any other part, not even rim, and was asked to get the vehicle repaired in insurance. I complained of the same to tata motors and till date even after a delay of four months, they have not responded.

Tata Motors poor service qauality

Dear sir,
my car model “indiago glx” bearing registration no. rj-20-ca-2376 was repaired on 16.11.09 at your authorized service center m/s chambal motors (p). ltd, kota. repair was billed vide invoice no. chambal-kt-[protected] dated 17.11.09.

The car was personally handed over to your above authorized service center for check & repair following continuing problems in addition to general check up. the status of specific problems which was claimed attended is as follows:

Start up problem: I am facing cold condition starting problem in my car since more than three months.in morning the car does not get start unless 20-25 continues self cranking is not applied. some times abnormal noise was emitting inside bonnet. it was immediately brought in notice to your authorized service provider with a request for check & corrective measures accordingly. on demand car was sent to your authorized service provider. after check it was told to me to get battery replaced which is responsible for such miss operation. the car was then taken to local authorized dealer of “exide” for replacement. as per routine practice the battery was checked before replacement by exide dealer. it was surprising to me that battery was declared o. k. this was a contradictory statement between your authorized service provider & exide dealer. to verify & clear out the differences, he offered his service battery on chargeable basis. the battery was replaced with service battery. the trial with service battery showed no difference. this trail was for a week. this was again brought in notice to service provider of chambal motors (p) ltd. with all the details & findings. finally it was re concluded by your authorized service provider to re check.
Car was handed over to your authorized service provider m/s chambal motors (p) ltd, kota on 16.11.09 to check & correct. (please check job card details). with delivering vehicle on 17.11.09, it was confirmed by service provider of your authorized service provider that this problem has been attended, rectified and checked also.
On 18.11.09 morning again I experienced same cold starting problem as earlier. it was immediately brought to the notice of mr. sunil thakur, chambal motors (p) ltd. as usual it was demanded to bring car at service provider for check up. I expressed my inability to bring car because of my preoccupancy. again in late evening on same date, similar starting problem was faced. it was again apprised to mr. sunil thakur on phone.
on 19.11.09 morning also it showed same problem & again it was brought to his notice. I requested him to organize & depute an authorized competent person in the morning to access & understand the problem. however again on 20.11.09, it showed same problem in morning & again it was brought to his notice. he replied to come back on this issue in due course.
On 21.11.09, morning start up, I did not face problem. the same was also communicated to mr. sunil tahkur, general manager, chambal motors. he recommended waiting & watching. problem is still pending. at1.00 pm the same stating problem I faced while going back from my office. this was immediately informed to mr. sunil thakur, general manager, chambal motors, kota & requested to verify. however he expressed his inability to immediately arrange his technician to verify. this was postponed by him on next.
I request to the official of tata motors to immediately fix up the responsibility & rectify same. I am continuing with this problem since more than three months. I am continuing to drive my car in uncertainty.

Fuel injection pump damage: this was happened with me few months ago, which I would like to apprise to the official of tata motors for getting reimbursement of my payment.
Few months back my car’s fuel tank developed a leak. it was brought to your authorized service provider m/s chambal motors (p) ltd for repair. it was repaired (record may be verified). after some time again a leak got developed at same location, which was repaired (again record may be verified) by your same authorized service provider. subsequently when it again leaked third time then fuel tank was replaced as per advice of fuel tank was replaced as per advice of your authorized service provider. during the job of fuel tank fixing it was informed by your service provider m/s chambal motors (p) ltd that fuel injection pump nozzle is broken & it is to be replaced in complete. on my query in regards with reason of breakage when vehicle was running, the reply of service advisor was negative & surprising. he replied that during dismantling it was found broken. as per him, it was not possible to repair the broken nozzle hence complete assembly has been replaced & billed to me.
In this whole issue I was unable to understand that in fuel pump nozzle broken condition, how the vehicle was running as there was no option other than this, I got it replaced.
I request officials of tata motors to investigate and conclude this serious case at the earliest so that reimbursement can be made to me.

Steering horn pad damage: the damage to horn pad occurred during service some 3 months back. while taking delivery of vehicle it was observed that its steering pad was detached. it was immediately brought in notice to service provider then it was put back by him. subsequently after a few kms run it was observed that horn pad is malfunctioning. as it was a matter of road safety, immediately brought in to notice of concerned service provider. on his demand the vehicle was brought to your authorized service provider for rectification. it was again re fix with some make shift arrangement with an instruction to me by concerned service provider that if it happens again then please get replaced the complete steering wheel. again after some few kms of run it starts malfunctioning. this was then brought to notice of mr. sunil thakur, general manager of chamabal motors (p) ltd. & he accepted for free replacement as this got damage during their servicing.
It was also brought in notice of mr. kohali, chambal motors (p) ltd on 17.11.09. as per him, this type of damage during service is cost to the customer, which is not desirable. it was very surprising reply from such a senior person of your authorized service provider I request m/s tata motors for immediate free replacement which is still pending.

Damaging fr lh window glass steering system: the problem in smooth operation of front lh window glass was attended & billed on 24.08.09. on delivery it was observed that the problem is not rectified. this was then brought in notice of concerned service provider m/s chambal motors (p) ltd., kota... it was assured to rectify in next service because of time constraints. again on 16.11.09 the same was offered for rectification.in the evening 6.00 p. m I was told by service provider that “nukka” of window glass operating mechanism is broken & complete assembly will be replaced at the cost of rs. 3580.00. I was shocked to hear for such cost which, I feel this got damaged during their inspection & it is totally an in competency of your authorized service provider & should not be cost to the customer.
I request to the official of tata motors for free replacement.

Tata Motors tafe reach ltd

I gave my india car dls 2004 for service at tafe reach ltd greams
Road, chennai on 12th oct 2009. I mentioned that I needed to go to
Bangalore that weekend. the car had done 67000 kms. the service
Attendant assured that he would take it for 70000 kms service and will
Do a complete check and gave me the car on 13th oct 2009. the bill was
Fancy and huge rs. 10, 818.- (50% parts & 50% labour)

The next day the car did not start, — I got a push start — , went to
Tafe reach, he checked and said the battery was good. the same evening
I faced the same starting problem, and had to change to a new battery.
tafe reach’s attendant judgment on the battery proved false.

I left for bangalore on 16th oct 2009 at 0630 hrs, the car did not
Cross 200 kms as it stopped due to engine overheat, the fan, the fan
Switch did not work, the left elbow tube bursts, there by all coolant
Was on the road, bringing the car to a halt. I found a mechanic after
2 hours. I and my family were on the road from 10 am – 12 noon. we got
Towed to krishnagiri where the local mechanic said because of the
Cooling system failure the engine head gasket got damaged. he changed
The left elbow, coolant pipe & the gasket
(not original).. we reached bangalore at 1930 hrs. the next day i
Showed the car to a local mechanic at bangalore for detailed check. he
Found airlock & blockages in coolant tube on rear side of the engine.

We left to chennai on 21st oct 2009, but on high speed the engine
Became hot. we stopped at krishnagiri, with the same mechanic changed
The coolant container that was leaking. the car did not still take
High speed. we were advised by the local mechanic to go at a speed of
60 kms / hr to reach chennai safely.

On 22nd oct 2009, we met the tafe reach sales attendant. on hearing
Our story, he said he would have serviced the coolant system with
Care, had he known about my trip to bangalore. (what a lie?). he took
Us to his service manager; he was reluctant to accept the negligence
Of his staff. after a long debate the service manager took the issue
To his gm who was in the adjacent room. instead of talking the issue
Personally to me, the gm left the cabin advising the service manager
To waive 20% off the labour cost and give me 5% off on spares. we were
Surprised that the head of the organization could leave abruptly
Without caring for my sentiments. the whole thing happened completely
On the misjudgment of the service attendant about our long trip and he
Should have warned me about the dangers of not having attended some of
The important jobs left pending in the coolant systems. for a 70000
Kms service, jobs that are vital and important for long distance
Drives should not be left to the judgment of the customer. most of the
Customers who own vehicles are non-technical. vehicles are given for
Service at big company like yours for releasing emotional satisfaction

Higher level.

I want tafe reach to pay me refund on the bill incurred or the
Expenses which I have incurred at krishnagiri & bangalore which is rs.
5500 along with the cost of replacement of the original gasket.

Just like this I had an incident with Tata Motors authorised service center Concorder Motors in Chennai. I met an accident while driving my car Fiat Palio Stile. I took back my car after 1.5 months with poor response and incompletion work. while I took back my car it is just running. All other electrical works, wheel balance, general service, cooling system I did outside. From that moment, my car is not serviced at any Tata Motors dealers center. It shows how much they care on Fiat customers.

Tata Motors service and quality of product

I have a tata telcoline. after 123, 000km the engine dropped a sleeve and the head cracked. upon askeing tata what to do, they offered me a new engine for r28, 000! I got an enging from a guy who rolled his vehicle. the engine and fitment cost r24, 000. this engine had just over 60, 000km. after another 65, 000 odkms, this engine suffered the same problem. tata would not assist, as this vehicle is not under warrantee anmore, and I did not service it at a tata agent, nevermind the fact that it was serviced, only for about half the price the agents charge for the exact same service. repairs on this vehicle haswill have cost me in access of r79, 000 over 3 years. that is 60, 07% of the vehicle's purchase price. tata would not offer any assistance, and their hands are clean of any blame. a friend of mine suffered the same problem after 73, 000km on a telcoline. another friend, who owned a tata 8 ton truck, experienced problems with the vehicle from the start, and was told the damage suffered was normal wear & tare, eventhough its unheard of of ball joint giving in after 18, 000km.
Their response was poor to requests for assistance - pretty much the same as they products & service.

We are having 270 Tata Vehicles. Our work is progress on N.M.D.C Site Nagarnar(Chattisgarh)
we are given 20lakh rupees bissness to running year in jaika automolible.
We had send MH-12 CF-9149 vehicle for engine work and CG-17 H-2492 and CG-17 H-2507 for Bhogi
Suspension work respectively in your Jaika Motors Ltd. Jagdalpur (Chattisgarh). There is a shortage of
spare part availability for some days. Though we have paid all bill but, Jaika Motors are demanding for parking
charges. We have clear all payment 2 months ago but, Jaika Motors not released our vehicles. That’s why
we are suffering Rs.25, 000/ loss per day. Jaika Motors knows that very well so please, pay attention of towards
our request.
i we had taken 20 new vehicles in March 2011 from Jaika motors, in that 5 vehicle having Bhogi
Suspension problem held. We have requested to Jaika Motors lot of times but they didn’t attend to us.
In one case our vehicle No.MH-12 FC-6183 having engine problem. Jaika Motor fit Recon Engine in that vehicle
but, it was failed and they did not respond on it. That’s why that vehicle is stand from last 1 year in a bad condition.
So, our two vehicles are standing in Jaika Motors Jagdalpur(C.G) and we had clear all payment.
In that two vehicles one is not ready.
So, we are humbled requested to you that please pay attention to our request and give us a
satisfy answer as soon as possible.

Tata Motors The customer is always wrong

My vehicle broke down at 07:30 on 15/09/2008. I phoned Tata who is 6 km away from where it broke down. They only arrived 8 hours later to tow it.It is still under guarantee and they charged me R450 for towing charges, contrary to the guarantee. It is now 17 days later and my vehicle is still not fixed. They did not supply me with a courtesy vehicle. I need the vehicle for business. They do not come back to me as promised.

this is a friendly gesture to all Tata owners, i bought an Brand new Tata Bolt 2016 model a perfect car but with the worst after sales services and incompetent service staff ever found in Africa . A few days ago i recieved an sms telling me that my 45000 km maintenance plan has reach its end and i have the option to extend this . Upon checking this i notice that instead of 45000 km my one shows 450000 signed sealed an delivered . Upon taking this to my advocate he advise that tata/liquidfinance has a snowball change in hell . IT WAS SHOCKING TO BE ADVISED THAT WITH A COMMON TATA PROBLEM I WAS REFERRED TO A PENAL BEATER AS TATA CANNOT FIX THE DOOR. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL UNTIL MY NEXT FOLLOW UP AGAIN ON 15JUN AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE LADY WHOM HANDLES WARRANTIES ONLY CAME IN TO THE OFFICE ON MONDAY AND CANT GIVE ME FEEDBACK AT THE MOMENT THEY WILL HAVE TO CALL ME ONCE SPOKEN TO HER. Hi I have an tata xenon single cab my master slave cylinder has gone and I took it to tata Port Elizabeth to claim under the warranty. Had no problems there but after a week without feedback I contacted them. The said to me that the part is on order it will be there on the 5th. Weeks went by without feedback. I again phoned them and they said the part will arrive on the 15 now, that is an month and a half after I took the vehicle in. Today the 16th I phoned again only to be told they ordered the wrong part. I have no curtsy vehicle. I have been paying insurance and premium for an vehicle I dont have. middag ek het n Tata super ace bakkie gekoop sins Desember 2016 is ek sonder n voertuig ek het die bakkie +- 3 maande toe het die engen gebreek die maatskappy het n nuwe engen in gesit ons het die bakkie gaan haal en het net 60 kilos gery toe breek die ratkas en is tans weer sonder n voertuig dit is n nuwe bakkie het skaars 3000 kilos op die klok

I was shown a Tata Xenon double cab and said that I will take it.
When I arrived at Tata Highlands North with my pre approved finance, I was told that the vehicle was sold to a cash buyer and was offered another vehicle, with which I had problems from day one.
After many calls and emails up to today I am still battling to get the vehicle sorted. The so called customer call centre at the head office do not even respond to emails. Adriaan Strydom

Dear tata sa, I have two serious concerns, i bought a tata manza in 2013, the manza spend most of the time in the garage, it went for all the services as per guarantee, about 13000km i noticed a rumbling sound at first start in the morning, i then took it to the service center at Trchardt, the workshop informed me that it is the hydraulic lifters and will have to be replaced, unfortunately the car was out of guarantee and they cant help me, my second problem started when i bought a Zenon Evolve, the salesman advised me that the sd card to use the navigation system will be sent to me by tata.After driving to Witbank to speak to Eastvaal motors and lots of phone calls and e mails no joy.
I think tata sa is not interested in the customer at all, all they wants to do is to sell cars.

I have a tata superace which is been repaired under warranty for the past 6 weeks, this is a business vehicle . This vehicle is more in the repairs than with me. I have now had enough of tata and am going to speak to a lawyer there service is thee worst ever as well as there product ( tata). My business has fallen due to my service delivery to my customers. I really think banks should stop financing such problematic vehicles. I will never advice tata to anybody even to my worst enemy. Tata is very poorly manufactured and should not be on the road. We as tata customers are not looked after at all. I want tata to give me a bakkie to carry on with my business, but they refuse any other brand such as kia or hyundia would have given me a loan vehicle because warranty problems are the companies not the owners.We buy brand new vehicles so that this would not happen but it is.

I bought a Tata Xenon XT 2.2 Dicor Double cab in April 2014 not long I had to take it back as I had a problem with the radiator was leaking water and a leak on the brakes system and when I go over a little bump on the toad it keep on reset on the locking system and the radio was not working as it was mend to. I took it to the Boksburg repair centre where they had to replace the radiator and a brake pipe that was a factory fault. I got my vehicle back as they told me everything was fine. I still had a problem with the radio and the electrical system as it still reset when I went over a bump on the road and the temp went high. I took it back in September when they replace the radio and repair the electrical problem as they said. The radio was fine and it did not reset when I went over a bump in the road like before but the cover of the fuse box in the engine was missing. I phone them to ask about the fuse box cover they could not find it. In January I took the vehicle for the 15000km serves and complain about the fuse box cover and the temp that still go high. When I got the vehicle back they told me they are not going to sigh of the job card as they order a new fuse box cover and the temp of the vehicle is fine and they will call me when they get the fuse box cover. I phone and went back to find out about the cover. I still not got the cover and I must fill up with water every day after a short drive as the radiator water is still leaking and the temp dose still go high and I am still very unhappy.

I have a 2012 Tata 2, 2 Xenon, company bakkie, from the day we bought the vehicle it has given us nothing but trouble, first day the vehicle could only go straight or turn left! that should have been a warning to us, sent the vehicle back! when we got the vehicle back from Tata Pine Town the vehicle was leaning to the left, sent it back to Tata! when we got the vehicle back the turbo would cut out every now and then, Tata PineTown said it was water in the diesel! they removed the tank and drained the "water"(they did not tighten the inspection cover on top of the diesel tank properly and the tank leaked ) it still did not help, they later found out that it was the relay switch on the aircleaner that was the problem, I have a list of problems to many to mention. Tata after market service is lacking in many ways. I will never buy another Tata product again.(not a happy camper)

Tata Motors customer service

My tata indigo broke down on 15/09/2008 at 07:30. I phoned tata and asked for roadside assistace, as the vehicle is still under manufacturers guarantee. they arrived at16:15 (8 hours later), while the workshop is only a few kilometres from where the car broke down. they towed the car to the workshop and I explained to them that I need the vehicle fixed urgently, as this is my primary vehicle. on 17/09/2008 at 11:00 they called me and said that they checked the car and that they now see that my complaint is valid.
They informed me that my guarantee had expired because of the km's travelled. I went to see them and showed them that the guarante is valid for 100 000km and that the car had only done 80 000 odd km. they then said that they will repair the vehicle under guarantee. I again explained to them that I have no other vehicle. they charged me r450 towing fee, although the guarantee states that the vehicle will be towed free of charge! they now refuse to repay this.
Today 17 days later, my vehicle is still not repaired. they refuse to giveme a courtesy vehicle!
I should have bought a toyota!

Nawab motors has truly lived upto his name of being a "Nawab". The customer himself has to run across every dept. to get information & his work done. Buying a car is an experience where the dealer makes the Customer absolutely happy & satisfied. However, in my case, it was completely opposite. Initially, I had to callup nawab motors for arranging a test-drive. After that, I had to run to nawab motors to finalise my deal rather than nawab motors following up with me. Then finally, on the day of delivery (which was informed to nawab motors 2 weeks in advance), it took them the whole day to get the car ready for delivery. Basic bare things like, Mud flaps, mats, etc were not available with the Great NAWAB motors. I had to BEG them to get these things fixed.

Earlier, I was a die hard fan of tata motors & had planned for buying Safari this year. Unfortunately, the experience above has shaken me to such a level, that I would not buy any TATA vehicle ever & I give the same feedback to all my friends & family members. Certainly, NAWAB motors does not even know the basic Customer Service skills.

Infact, I would even request Ratan Tata / Tata Motors, to take back the dealership from the Great NAWAB Motors, noida.

I would like to inform that TATA Motors are duping their customers through their 24x7 on road assistance program. After warranty its is a paid service and I have paid Rs 550 as fee. As per the terms and conditions of their service contract they are supposed to provide 6 instances of on road assistance which also covers electrical faults. I called up TATA Motors today asking them to attend to an electrical fault with my vehicle. However, they insisted that since it was day time, I could take my vehicle to TATA Motors dealership. They wont attend the vehicle since the vehicle can move. This is totally against their own service terms and conditions. Nowhere under their 24x7 on road assistance program it is mentioned that the vehicle will be attended only if it is not able to move or the vehicle will not be attended during day time. It is neither mentioned in the exclusions of their service contract. I even spoke to their Senior Team Leader Mr Mukhtar and got the same arbitary response from him and he was not able to justify his response according to the terms and conditions mentioned in their service contract

CASE History: I owned theVehicle TATA INDICA EV2 Bearing Chasis No, *MAT600433CPC25525* from OberoiCars Pvt Ltd. on Monday 21st May 2012 . As i was busy in my office i sentmy driver to pick the car, he reached showroom 2:00pm, Showroom people handedover the CAR to my driver @ 8:30 PM . Without doing PDT (Pre DeliveryTest)

of the car it was handed over to my driver, no test time was given tomy driver, neither he was made to check the car, they just gave the carto him and closed the showroom.They Provided my Driver whose Meter Reading wasAlready arround 50 KM.
When car reached to me after a drive of 5KM i found following Problemswith it.

1) Meter Was not working ( Fuel Indicator), Meter Cover of the car wasFound Open and i immediately reported mr Varun Sales Person.
2) There Was a used and a Puncture Tyre in the Stepeny
3) The Driver Side Tyre Of the Car had a Cut Which is a ManufacturingFault, any technical Person can see and identify it.
4) Both Front and Back Bumper of the Cars are Repainted and there Paintis coming out due to poor quality of paint over them.
5) There Was Loud Disturbing Knocking Sound from te bottom of the Carmight be in stering or front suspention, asoon as we put the car toacceleration.
6) The Car was stopping as soon i leave acceleration
7) The Car was in very Dirty Condition from inside and outside ( TheSand which comes with water was all over on the Dashbord and Windows frominside and obver the Engine)
8) No diesel was put below the engine, No Greecing and oiling was doneover each SUSPENTION. All the car suspention and rubber parts were sohard that they were making sound.

When i complained about all this to the Sales man Varunand Manager Miss Madhumita, They Asked Sorry and Apologised i thoughthere is some humanity Left. they asked me to reurn the Car and they saide wewill make All Repairs Else they will Replace it.

Miss Madhumita was very helpful and Pleasing, So i sent my car to them after one Day .Through My another Driver Deepak.
This Time An Sales Manager From TATA Motors Miss Behaved With mydriver

1) Mr. Sushil RoyAdviser/Manager in TATA Motors Oberoi Cars Pvt. Ltd Has miss Behaved With mydriver Abusing him and Challenging him what can your owner do, I Request TATA Motors to reply him Legally what can a customer do, i dontwant to take any wrong step.

2) Mr Sushil Roy Blamed me for all the miss handling in the Brand NewCAR. For Every Single thing he said it has been done by.

Do Tata Motors Really think, A Person Owning A brand New Car in Cash, Will Come Back to blame showroom just for as Rs 30 Punchur in the Tyre, But forme it was a trust Broken by TaTa motors.

Currently case is with Miss Sumedha Assistant Customer manager of regional office gurgaon, who has not yet taken any action since last 1 month no reply. TATA Motors is worst in hearing its complaints. I have all the the complaints mails with trail mails. if anyone wants to check contact me. i have got the loss of arround 40, 000. Just due to tata motors :(.

sir this is an humble request to your company that your tata show room drivers are very very rash & indiscipline in driving it was happen in Mysore pls while requiting advice your HR's to get some gentleman's they don't know how to speak with people its a serious issue advice them to drive safe life is precious i saw it today i don't know which show room he works today he almost killed a person pls look into it

I Veenu Tandon purchased Nano Lx car on 01/04/2011 the Invoice number is TechAu-R-[protected], and the car’s purchase receipt number TechAu-R-[protected].The car was driven only for 87km on 6th April 2011 at 7:00am and the car’s burned on the Road and never started again. I call mechanics from Techno Automobiles (p) ltd to repair it because of the poor quality of car. When contacting the company they failed to replace the car. After financing 2.40lakh for purchasing the car and it was done only 87km. I tried to contact the company regarding this issue but still there is no response from them. I am calling the company but still no proper response from the company. The company has to replace my car or my refund my cash.

Dear Sir,

I had purchased a car Regn No. UP -X- 7500 ( Indica Vista Quarderjet - Limited addition) on dated 31/7/2009 from the Automobile Sterling, sector - 8, Noida. After 3 months of purchasing the car its rear window ( left side) & diggi get rusted. I made 9 rounds to change the parts but nobody was able to give me proper answer. Lastly when I fed up, I written a complaint in tata motors, after that the above car dealer RE-Paint the door & diggi. Now there was a color variation between the car's original color & Re - paint color. Now my car looks like a accidental car & its AC is also not working, the above dealer is not bothered about that. I want to sell this car because I am So dis-satisfied customer but due to repaint & color variation its market value is very less, whereas it was totaly DEALER'S fault. Since last 3 days my car is lying in the work shop of the above dealer & they are not responding me properly.

Pls help me out from the situation & It was my fault that I had purchased a car of TATA Brand, world known company.

It is my request to everyone not to ever buy a car from TATA. Buy anything, but never ever buy a Tata car. They are pathetic, horrible, actually I have no words. I bought my Indica Vista from Sterling Auto, Noida in Oct 2008, since then the car has been in the service station more and with me less.
Its AC is not working, I gave it to Shah Motors Noida for repair, they claim to have repaired it twice, even changed its compressor but still the problem remains where it is. Now car has been with them since last 15 days, standing, they claim that spare parts have not come from Pune. A customer like me has no-where to go. I even called the Tata Motors Toll free number, put my complaint in writing to Tata, but nothing. I feel as a customer, I have everything to loose and as a seller, Tata has nothing to loose, they have got their money. It is me who is suffering, no car, scorching Delhi heat, two little kids, when I bought the car, has different thoughts in my mind. Wow m buying TATA an Indian product, m so proud, where is Swami Ramdev who keep endorsing desi vastu ka upyog kejiye, rubbish...

Tata Motors terrible service

We very much regret to say that we are very much offended with the service that we have received from tata motors (hyderabad, andhra pradesh). the reason behind is that I have purchased a car tata indigo ls. initially I gave my card for servicing in tata motors, sanathnagar, hyderabad and got a very bad service from them. car washing done by them was the worst ever and any roadside washing center would have done 100 times better than this service center. it was a year back story. later I thought of changing the service center from sanathnagar tata motors to autofin ltd bowenpally as I don't have any other option as I had to get it serviced.

To start of, autofin ltd service center is at a awkward place in bowenpally where we do not have any transport facility once we drop our car for servicing. to start of the with the problems I faced with autofin ltd and the service advicer there.

1. service advicer gave me an estimation of servicing and repairs of rs.2600/-. when the car was ready in the evening he called me and informed me that the charges are now 3600/-.
When I asked him the reason he said he included some power steering pipe which was gone bad. here there are two things to say.
a) as per policy he should have informed me before actually changing/replacing any part which was not discussed and he dint feel like informing me as he says.
b) power steering pipe was changed exactly 4 month before by mallik motors as the oil from power steering pipe was leaking.
c) if the power steering pipe is broken then the oil should have leaked from it which was not the case either.

2. lights inside the car (roof top) and tail horn were not working as the fuse has gone wrong, so asked the service adviser to repair the fuse which hardly costs, when I came in the evening to my surprise, service adviser says that he replaced the lights inside the car instead of the fuse and he charged me for that again, here again he dint inform me before doing so.

3. as mentioned earlier autofin is located near a place where there is no auto or a bus stand available for any one to go.
I asked the service adviser if anyone can drop me to the nearest auto or bus stand and he refused saying they don't have any facility as such. but when I came back the next day to collect my car I saw a board mentioning that they drop customers who come and give their car for servicing to the nearest auto or bus stand. I don't know the reason but just for this I had to walk all the way around 1.5kms to find an auto for myself.

4. when I took back my car, to my shock again the car was not washed properly and I took a cloth by myself and cleaned my car in the service center itself as I know that they wont be able to that again.

I purchased my car 2.5 years ago and since then have the lots of problems with the service centers. tata motors mentions some core values on a wall board in all their service centers, truly there are core values for tata motors but just on boards, there is no one who can actually execute that.

I am Vijayanand from Chennai I brought a Safari-VX of reg no: TN 09 BB 9999 in the name of v. yuvaraj ten months before from V.S.T. motors, Mount Road . For the past few months I am continuously facing corrosion problem in the vehicle. Last time when we given the vehicle for service we escalated the issue with service station and some tinkering work was done by the service station to remove it, now again and again the patches of corrosion was seen all over the places of my car. We already purchased 2 more vehicles of same model, there is no such issue with that two vehicles. We are afraid that entire shell will be corroded. So we requested the V.S.T. Motors and TATA Motors to replace our vehicle with a new shell. But they are not doing that. I am very much surprised that for a new vehicle itself they are not providing the warranty properly, if the vehicle crossing the warranty what will they do? We need this peoblem to be solved as soon as possible because our business was severely affected with out the vehicle. We need a permanent solution for this problem. Other wise we will take the legal actions against your company. A person from TATA Motors had spoken to me regarding this, but he refused to change the new one.
