Disappointing Experience with Collections Etc.: Shipping Charges and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I had some real trouble with my order from Collections Etc. I put in my order on September 25th and thought I had enough stuff in my cart for free shipping. But when I got my confirmation from PayPal, I saw that I was charged $38.52 for three items, even though it said free shipping. I waited for hours for a confirmation from Collections, but it never came. So I called customer service to see what was up. They told me to wait and call back if I didn't get a confirmation. Finally, I got the confirmation, but one of the items was suddenly "out of stock" and I was charged $7.99 for shipping on the remaining two items. I was so mad! I always try to avoid paying for shipping.
The first customer service rep I talked to was no help at all. They put me on hold for like 20 minutes and then the call dropped. When I called back, the second rep offered to refund the shipping charge. I'm still waiting to see if that actually happens. I tried to fix my order by placing another one, but now there's also a processing fee. Ugh, I hope I don't have to call customer service again. I don't have time for all this nonsense!
Collections Etc. Website Review: Lack of Information and Frustration with Online Shopping Experience
I gotta say, I was pretty bummed out when I checked out Collections Etc.'s website. I mean, I was flipping through their paper catalog and saw some pretty cool stuff, but when I went to their website to get more info, it was like pulling teeth to find anything useful. Like, seriously, why can't they give us more than just a couple of sentences about each item? It's not like they're hurting for space on the internet.
So, I ended up having to do a bunch of research on my own just to figure out what some of the "As Seen On TV" items were all about. And don't even get me started on the rugs and runners - they don't even tell you what kind of pile they have! I had to squint at the pictures to try and figure it out. And the clothing? They have different sizes and categories like Misses and Womens, but they don't explain what the difference is or give us any sizing charts. How are we supposed to know if a Misses Size Medium is gonna fit us or not?
I did end up buying some stuff for my mom, but I didn't get everything I wanted because I just didn't feel confident enough in my purchases. It's a shame, really, because Collections Etc. has some cool stuff. They just need to step up their online game and give us more info. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
Disappointing Experience with Collections Etc.: Order Issues and Frustrating Customer Service
I made an order on Collections Etc. website on September 18th, 2018. I was excited to receive my order, but after several days of waiting, I didn't receive any further information about it. I tried to check my order history on the website, but it said that there was no order history available. I decided to call the customer service to check on my order. The representative told me that there was no order with my name or the confirmation number I had. I was disappointed and frustrated, but the representative asked me if I wanted to replace the order on the phone. I agreed, but I wanted to receive the same offer that I used on the original order. The representative agreed and quoted a price that seemed about the same.
I ordered two items, the raised toilet seat, and the evergreen metal wall decor. I was excited to receive both of them, but when I received the confirmation email the next day, I saw that he had only placed the order for the toilet seat and that I was charged full price. I was disappointed and frustrated again, but I called the customer service to cancel the order. Unfortunately, it was too late, and I would have to refuse the package when it arrived. I was not at home when it was delivered, so I will have to take it into town to FedEx in order to return it. This will not be until next week. It is about a 30-minute drive to town, and as my husband has Alzheimer's and I am his sole caregiver, I can't just pop into town to drop it off. He had a doctor appointment on September 11th, 2018, and I will drop it off then.
Overall, I am not too happy about my experience with this transaction. I am disappointed about the pine trees, and I have already purchased the toilet seat elsewhere. I hope that Collections Etc. will improve their customer service and website to avoid these kinds of situations in the future.
Misleading Offers and Unexpected Fees: My Disappointing Experience with Collectionsetc.com
I recently visited collectionsetc.com after finding them on Google Shopping. The website caught my attention with their offer of free shipping on orders over $35. I was excited to shop and added items to my cart, making sure my total was over $35. However, when I tried to use the code for free shipping, it said it had expired. I called customer service and was asked where I got the code. I told them it was on the homepage, but they gave me a different code that required me to spend over $45 to get free shipping. I tried to find more items to add to my cart, but I couldn't find anything I wanted.
I then noticed that if I signed up for their newsletter, I could get free shipping and 10% off my order. I tried to sign up, but it suddenly stated that orders had to be over $50 and used within 48 hours. I signed up multiple times, but I never received an email from them. I started to wonder if this was even a real offer.
When I went to check out, I was surprised to see a processing fee added to my order. I've never seen this at any other shopping site, and I shop a lot. By the time I finished checking out, my order had almost doubled in cost.
Just to see what would happen, I removed my original order from the cart and ordered a $1.97 item. When I went to check out, I was shocked to see a processing fee and $6.99 shipping added to my $1.97 item. The total for my $1.97 item was $13.78. I'm glad I didn't actually want the item.
Overall, my experience with collectionsetc.com was disappointing. The website's offers and fees were confusing and misleading, and the processing fee was unexpected. I won't be shopping there again.
Buyer Beware: My Experience with Collections Etc
I decided to give Collections Etc. a try and placed an order for two items using a free shipping coupon. After waiting for about 10 days, I received a letter stating that I forgot to specify the size of one of the items. I called the number provided and gave them the size I needed, but nothing else was mentioned by the representative.
I received one of the items, but the second one was nowhere to be found. After waiting for about two weeks, I received another letter stating that the free shipping coupon was only valid for three items and that I needed to pay additional shipping charges. However, I still had the coupon and there was no mention of a minimum item requirement.
When I called customer service to inquire about the missing item and the shipping charges, I was informed that they had cancelled the second item and deducted the shipping charges from my pre-paid amount. The representative also claimed that they had already sent a refund, but I had not received it.
After insisting that he look into it, the representative claimed that there was a problem with my credit card and that the credit could not be processed. However, I had paid with a check and they did not have my credit card information. The representative was not very friendly or helpful, and I was disappointed that they did not try to resolve the issue and keep my business.
In the end, I asked to be removed from their mailing list. While I'm glad that it was only two items and they didn't have my credit card information, I would caution other buyers to be aware of potential issues when dealing with Collections Etc.
Poor Customer Service and Slow Processing Times at Collections Etc
I recently made a purchase from Collections Etc. through Amazon, but unfortunately, the items I received weren't suitable for my needs. I decided to return them and went through Amazon's return process. However, after a week of waiting with no response, I reached out to them and was ignored. I had to escalate the issue to Amazon, who opened a claim against them. Finally, they allowed me to proceed with the return.
It's been 9 days since they received my return, but they still haven't processed it. I called Amazon and then Collections Etc. directly, but the first person I spoke to was difficult to understand. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but the person I spoke to was rude and unprofessional. She acted like I was bothering her by asking where my refund was. She said their warehouse was busy, but I think they should hire more people to provide better customer service.
She manually expedited my return and said it would be processed that day, but it wasn't. I received an email from them the next day saying it had been processed, but my refund still hasn't hit my bank. I'll give them one more business day before contacting my bank to have them refund me. I'm also reporting them to the BBB.
It's frustrating to have to chase down a refund and be treated like a nuisance. I think Collections Etc. needs to improve their customer service and processing times. I hope they take my feedback seriously and make changes to avoid similar issues in the future.
Misleading Product Description and Poor Customer Service from Collections, etc
I recently had an experience with Collections, etc. that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. On December 11, 2020, I visited their website and searched for solar blue lights. The search results showed a picture of blue net lights, so I placed an order for them. However, when I received the items (4 boxes), I discovered that they were actually Solar Powered Outdoor String Lights. The photo on the website was completely misleading and did not accurately represent the product I received.
I immediately contacted Collections, etc. customer service to explain the situation and request a return label. After some back and forth, the representative informed me that they would deduct $7 and change from my return. I agreed to this, and was told that I would receive the return label by email within 24 hours. However, the 24 hours came and went, and I still had not received the label.
I called Collections, etc. again to inquire about the return label, but was told to wait another 24 hours. I explained that I had already been waiting for more than 24 hours since my initial call, but was told that the label had been emailed that day and that I would have to wait another 24 hours to receive it. I was frustrated and upset by this response, as it didn't make sense to me that an email would take 24 hours to arrive.
Overall, I have been a customer of Collections, etc. for more than 10 years, but this experience has left me feeling disappointed in their customer service and delivery. It's possible that there has been a change in ownership or management, as their service and quality seem to have declined. While I have had positive experiences with Collections, etc. in the past, I would caution others to be wary of their customer service and accuracy of product descriptions.
False Advertising and Poor Customer Service from Collections Etc
So, I got an email from Collections Etc. on May 21, 2019, and they said I could get 15% off my purchase. I was pretty excited about that, so I went ahead and picked out some stuff I wanted to buy. When I went to check out and used my PayPal to pay, I noticed that they didn't take off the 15% discount like they said they would. I was pretty upset about that, so I called them right away at 4:34 p.m. to let them know what happened.
The person on the phone told me that their policy was that the coupon wasn't good for 48 hours. I was like, "What? That's not what it said in the email!" The email just said to click a link to start shopping. But they wouldn't budge on their policy, so I asked them to cancel my order. They said they would, but then they put me on hold for a minute and came back to tell me that they couldn't cancel it because it had already gone to shipping. I was like, "What? That's impossible! I just placed the order 2 minutes ago!" But they still wouldn't cancel it.
I asked to speak to a manager, but he was just as unhelpful as the person I talked to before. He told me the same thing about the 48-hour policy and said that my order had already gone to shipping. I was really frustrated at this point because they were being so stubborn about it. I told him that this was false advertising and that they were being grimey scam artists. But he didn't care and refused to cancel my order.
Now I have to go through a hassle to get my money back from them. I wouldn't recommend anyone buy from this company because they don't honor their satisfaction guarantee. They're just a bunch of grimey scam artists who don't care about their customers.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Collections Etc.: Code Expired, Out of Stock Item, and Lack of Understanding/Caring
I've been trying to get help from customer service, but so far the responses that I got either show a lack of understanding or a lack of caring. Emails do not accomplish anything, nor do phone calls. Please, can you help me? I got a new email address and signed up for promotions there. I got an email with a code in it for 10% off, plus free shipping. Within 5 minutes, I attempted to use the code. When I entered it into the box and clicked "apply", it said it was expired. Nobody can tell me why they can't give me a good code for what they promised me. The only suggestion I got was "Place the order without a code, and we'll fix it afterwards". I'm sorry, but after speaking with or emailing 5 different people, who seem to not know how to fix this, my trust level is very low.
I even suggested that you send a gift card in the appropriate amount, so that I can enter it into the order when I place it. When I asked this, I received a copy of the FAQ's on codes, which did nothing to address why your code expired as soon as I got it. That actually insulted me. I always read the FAQ's so that I don't have to unnecessarily waste the company's time. Can your technical staff fix the expiration error, or can you send a gift card? (If gift card, I can tell you what I want to order so you know how much to make it for.) The problem code in the email is 6DEMSN1. That is what I messaged Collections Etc. on Facebook.
She told me to place the order by phone and it would be adjusted. After 15 minutes with the rep on my last telephone call , he finally agreed to "give me a one time discount". I gave him the first item on my order, the quilt (item 43847) and he said "Oh, unfortunately that item is no longer in stock". I was livid, after dealing with 7 people and getting nowhere. I said "If the code had worked in the first place, or customer service had helped me in some way, it would've been in stock when I wanted it." I placed the order online, to try anyhow. It turns out it was not out of stock, and I don't know why he told me it was.
I am so disappointed in the lack of "customer service" that I received. I don't think I will ever order from your company again. I feel awful. I told my husband to throw all Collection Etc. catalogs that come in the mail, into the trash. I am also unsubscribing from all accounts. I only placed my order because I had my heart set on getting this for my best friend's birthday. This is my last order. I hope that Collections Etc. can improve their customer service in the future, so that other customers don't have to go through what I did.
Collections Etc. Rebate Program Review: A Scam That Will Waste Your Time and Money
I gotta say, I had a pretty terrible experience with Collections Etc. I first heard about them because of their rebate program, which I thought would be a great way to save some cash. I mean, who doesn't love getting money back, right? So I signed up for it, thinking I'd be getting a check every month. But it turns out that it's not like that at all. Instead, they give you a voucher to use in their store. And they don't make that very clear in their statement, either. I had to dig through the fine print to figure it out. And even then, I only found out because I talked to a rep a day before my trial period was up. That was the first time I started to feel like this might be a scam.
But I was stuck with this voucher, so I decided to use it. I spent hours on their website, looking for things I actually needed. I wasn't thrilled about having to use this voucher instead of cash, but I figured I might as well get something out of it. But then I had to pay $25 in taxes and processing fees. What kind of voucher makes you pay extra fees like that? It felt like a scam all over again.
So I placed my order and waited for my stuff to arrive. And waited. And waited. It wasn't until almost two weeks later that I realized my package hadn't even been shipped yet. I called them up and they had to reauthorize my card. And then I waited some more. And checked again. And waited. And called them up again. This went on five different times. I'm on hold right now, waiting to talk to a rep for the sixth time. It's been almost a month and I still haven't received my $250 worth of stuff. And they haven't even deducted the $25 fee from my card yet.
I'm starting to think they don't want to send me my stuff because I'm paying mostly with a voucher. I worked hard to earn that voucher, and now it feels like they're just trying to scam me out of it. I bet if I had just paid in cash, they would have taken my money right away. But because I'm using this voucher, they're dragging their feet and messing with me. It's not right.
Honestly, I would stay far away from this website. You can find the same stuff elsewhere, like eBay or other websites. There's no need to feed into this scam site that just strings you along. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.

Mixed Experiences with Collections Etc.: Good Deals, Frustrating Customer Service
Collections Etc. is a store that I've had some mixed experiences with. Sometimes they get things right, but other times they really mess up and then try to blame it on you. It's frustrating, but I keep coming back because they do have some good deals and products.
One thing I've learned is that if they duplicate an order, don't refuse it. They'll say it never came back to them and won't give you a refund. I had this happen to me once and I refused the package because I knew they'd charge me shipping for their mistake. They wouldn't budge or meet me halfway with anything else to compensate for their part in the problem. I have another situation like this and I asked them not to deduct shipping charges from my refund. We'll see if they have the decency to not make me pay for their screwup.
Another thing I've learned is that if you get a confirmation number of "0", wait at least 24 hours before redoing the order. That's what they told me after the fact, anyway. I don't know if it would have worked, but I probably would have lost that day's discounts.
Overall, Collections Etc. has some good prices and products, but their customer service can be frustrating. If they were better at that, I'd give them a 5-star review and wouldn't hesitate to give them repeat business.
They are much worse now, than ever before. Collections etc. Used to be a pretty good company, now it is nothing but a rip-off. No one should ever order from them. I am unsubscribing from the company, and do not ever want to deal with them again.
Collections Etc. Review: Terrible Customer Service and Shipping Delays
So, I thought I'd give Collections Etc. a try and ordered three items. I knew one of them was back ordered, but I figured that wouldn't hold up the rest of my order. Boy, was I wrong! After waiting for two weeks and not receiving the two in stock items, I decided to call and see what was going on. The rep told me that they were waiting for the back ordered item to come in before they could send out the rest of my order. I was not happy about this and insisted that they send out the two items that were in stock. The rep assured me that they would go out that day, but after waiting another week and calling back, I found out that they never went out. I was so frustrated!
I tried to cancel my order, but the rep told me that it had already been sent to the warehouse and couldn't be canceled. I reluctantly agreed to accept the order, but I knew I would never order from them again. When I told the rep this, all she said was "I'm sorry to hear that". That didn't make me feel any better.
To make matters worse, it's been over a month since I placed my order and I still haven't received anything! I'm so fed up with their terrible customer service that I've decided not to accept the package(s) at all. I refuse to be treated like this and dismissed in such a manner. It's just not right.
Overall, I would not recommend Collections Etc. to anyone. Their customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.
Collections Etc. Website Navigation Needs Improvement
I gotta say, the Collections Etc. website ain't the easiest to navigate. Every time I click on something to check it out, and then try to go back, it sends me all the way back to the beginning of the catalog. Like, I was on page 20 and then I looked at the details for something and when I hit back, it sent me all the way back to page 1. I tried clicking the X to exit out of the details page, but that just sent me back to the main page. I tried this a bunch of times and it was always the same. I do a lot of online shopping and I've never had this problem with any other company's website.
It took me over an hour just to look at some of the items and I gave up on trying to see everything. I just ordered what I had in my cart because I didn't want to go through the hassle of going back to page 20 and then having to go through all the pages again just to finish that one page. It's way too time-consuming just to see the whole catalog.
I've been a customer of Collections Etc. for a long time and I don't remember having this issue with their website before. I don't think it's my computer because I don't have this problem with any other website. I'm sure other people feel the same way. Nobody wants to keep going back to the main page after looking at an item's details.
Overall, I like Collections Etc. and I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the years, but their website needs some work. It's just not user-friendly and it's frustrating to use.

Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Collections Etc
So, I was looking for some cool stuff to buy online and came across Collections Etc. I signed up for their email list and was promised free shipping and a 10% discount on my order. I don't have PayPal, so I thought I could just use my credit card instead. But when I was about to place my order, it showed that PayPal was paying for it and I didn't get my discount. What a bummer!
I called the number they provided for help with orders and talked to a guy named Jay. Let me tell you, he didn't know anything! He said he couldn't do anything about my order because I didn't have a promo code. He told me to wait until I got one, but I had already been waiting for 45 minutes! I was getting frustrated.
So, I decided to mess around with my order and cleared out my cart. Then I put everything back in and tried to redo my order. But Jay wouldn't help me, so I had to do it all over again. I even checked with PayPal to make sure they weren't paying for it and put it on my credit card instead. But when I called for help, they just told me to keep waiting. What a waste of time!
Honestly, Jay was useless. He was rude and didn't help me at all. I went ahead and placed my order without getting my discount. I don't know why I did that, but I hope I won't be disappointed with my order. I'm already disappointed with Collections Etc. I might even put it on social media how I was treated and probably won't order from them anymore.
With everything going on, you would think they wouldn't want to lose customers. But they don't seem to care. It's a shame, really. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Collections Etc
I just wanted to share my experience with Collections Etc. and my recent purchase order #[protected] from September 30, 2018. I ordered two items, #32572 and #42583, and received my order on October 10, 2018. However, when I attempted to assemble item #32572, I noticed it was damaged and couldn't sit flat.
I immediately visited their website and sent an email explaining the situation. However, after two days without receiving any response, I sent another email on October 12. Unfortunately, I still didn't hear back from anyone. On October 15, I decided to call their customer service and spoke with Maria, who was located offshore. She denied ever receiving any of my emails, but still decided to credit my account $12.99 and instructed me to discard the product.
I was disappointed to hear that this item was receiving many negative comments, but I appreciated the credit. Maria informed me that the credit should appear on my credit card in seven days. However, today is October 25, which is ten days since I spoke with Maria, and my account still doesn't show a credit having been applied.
I have several other items on hold with Collections Etc. that I haven't finalized pending the outcome of this situation. As someone who isn't accustomed to this type of business procedure, I will need to reassess my future online purchases. I hope that Collections Etc. can improve their customer service and communication in the future.
Collections Etc. Review: Is It Worth the Extra Fees and Membership Cost?
I gotta say, I was pretty excited to check out Collections Etc. I mean, who doesn't love free shipping, right? But then I saw that there was a processing fee and sales tax added on. Now, I'm no expert, but I've only ever seen scammers charge a processing fee. And as for sales tax, well, I don't see that they have a storefront in TX, so I'm not sure why they're charging it.
Anyway, I decided to give it a shot and see how long it would take for my order to arrive. I wasn't expecting two-day shipping like Amazon, but I was hoping for something reasonable.
Then I saw that they have a membership that's almost twice as expensive as Amazon's, but without any music or streaming services. I mean, you'd have to be buying a lot every month to make that worth it. And even then, it might not be worth it.
So I went ahead and ordered a table, and it did come in with all the extra charges. It was a couple of dollars less than either Amazon or Walmart, but still. That processing fee just doesn't sit right with me.
And then there's the membership fee. $14.95 per month? That's a lot. You'd have to spend $150 per month just to break even.
Overall, I'm not sure if Collections Etc. is worth it. It started off as a new place to shop, but by the time I got to checkout, I wasn't so sure.
Collections Etc. Premier Savings Membership: Not Worth the Hassle
The clothes I got from Collections Etc. were alright - not the best quality but not terrible either. My beef is that I signed up for a free month of the Premier Savings membership because they said they'd give me free shipping (worth $15) and free return shipping. They also said that I could get 10% rebates from a bunch of other companies that are part of the plan. But here's the catch - these rebates aren't automatic. Nope, you gotta fill out a form with a bunch of info about your order and then email them "backup documentation" like your receipt. The receipt for the order you just made with them. Then they take 3 to 6 weeks to "process" your submission. And the "rebate" comes in the form of "Marketplace credits". I'm guessing that means you get credit for a new order, not actual money back. But I don't know for sure because I'm still waiting for my rebate claim to go through.
And if you want free return shipping, you gotta enter the address of the company on the shipping label. But I couldn't find the address for returns anywhere. I gave up when I realized it had been more than 30 days since I got my order and they wouldn't take it back. That's on me, but I feel like the company makes everything so complicated. It's a lot of work and I think they do it on purpose so you won't bother claiming all the rebates you could. I'm cancelling my membership, thank you very much.
Disappointing Experience with Collections Etc: Late Delivery, Missing Item, and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Collections Etc. I was really hoping to get my hands on some Christmas gifts for my loved ones, so I ordered a few items from their website. I even paid extra for 3-day shipping to make sure everything arrived on time. But when the package finally showed up, it was a day late. Not a huge deal, but still annoying.
And then, when I opened the package, I realized that one of the items was missing! I was charged for both, but only received one. I immediately called their customer service line, but the person I spoke to didn't seem to speak English very well. It was really hard to explain the situation to them.
Eventually, we got through to them and explained that we wanted a refund for the shipping charges since they messed up our order. But they refused! They wouldn't even expedite the second shipment, which wouldn't arrive until after New Year's. The only thing they offered was to waive the shipping charges on the second shipment, but only after we asked to speak to a supervisor.
To make matters worse, there's no record of the problem on my account on their website. I can't track the missing item or even see if they've shipped it. It's like it never even happened!
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend ordering from Collections Etc. They're just not professional enough to trust with your money and your time.
Frustrating Experience with Collections Etc. Customer Service and Online Ordering
I tried to order some stuff from Collections Etc. using PayPal, but it didn't work for some reason. I called up customer service and told them what happened. The lady on the phone said that the order didn't go through, but she could take my order online instead. I told her that I had a code for free shipping for online purchases, but she said she could still do it. So I told her what I wanted to order, and when she gave me the total it still had shipping cost, so I asked her about it. She said that was for online only, and I said I know but at the beginning of the call you said you could still do it. So she put me on hold and finally said she could do it. She also kept trying to get me to buy other things even though I said I didn't want anything else. When she gave me the final total again it was still too high. It was because one of the items was cheaper online and she couldn't give me the online price, so I would have to order online. I told her the reason I was calling was because I was having a problem ordering online and every time I order online from your sight I have problems. So after she wasted about 30 minutes of my time I had to go back and place my order online. This time I didn't use PayPal and the order finally went through. This is really frustrating and makes me not want to order from them again.
Collections Etc. Review: Order Cancellation and Shipping Issues
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Collections Etc. I placed an order on 10/2/18 and right after I did, it said that one of the items wasn't in stock. I didn't want to pay for shipping and handling fees, so I called and cancelled the order. The representative on the phone confirmed that the order was cancelled and I placed another order online for the same item and another new item so I could get free shipping.
But then, on 10/5/18, I got an email saying that the cancelled order was shipped! I called Collections Etc. again and told them that I cancelled the order and the representative confirmed that it was cancelled. I received my other order on 10/5/18, but then on 10/6/18, I received the cancelled order! I was so confused and frustrated that I just wrote "RETURN TO SENDER" on the package and dropped it off at the post office.
I called and emailed Collections Etc. a few times about this and I still haven't received a refund for the $25.03, which includes the shipping and handling fee. I don't understand how the representatives told me that the order was cancelled and then I still received it. I just want my money back and for them to let me know what's going on.
So, if you're thinking about ordering from Collections Etc., just be careful and make sure you double check everything. I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
Fraudulent hold on my bank account
This company is a FRAUD. I purchased $354.09 in merchandise and they placed a hold for over $1,500 with my bank. This has overdrawn my account by over $600. I called Collections, Etc. and have been told by 3 different people that this is their pattern and practice. I was also told not to worry that the excess funds will be released in 6 days. WTF? My account is overdrawn by $600 leaving me without access to any funds for 6 days and they casually tell me not to worry? I guess I'll just go without food for the next 6 days. Needless to say, I canceled my order and am sitting waiting, hungry, for my money to be returned to me.
Desired outcome: Release my money
Over $900 order will not ship to me, stole money
Made over $900 order may 6 2021, as of june 7 2021 order has not shipped, no one can answer why, & same response each time i call, give it another few weeks. I've sent multiple emails about order status, what's going on, and have yet to respond. They have my money & i have no products or answers. I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone, they will steal from you! order [protected]
Desired outcome: items sent
membership I guess.
Hi My name is Ladonna Pelkey you have been charging my credit cards for
16, 99 on two different credit cards. I don, t know what this is for. I figured it was time to get this cleared up. This is the reason I have not been ordering
from you. I am going to take this to higher court if this isn't taken care of.
The credit card is chase #7161 and Bank America 1765.
charged my credit card for items I didn't order online
On June 28 2018 I shopped online at collectionsetc.com. I put several items in my cart but when I realized one was out Of stock and I wouldn't get free shipping, I exited the site without placing the order. The next day they emailed me that my order was being processed, even charging me for shipping. My credit card has been billed too. Since I didn't actually complete the order, I consider this credit card fraud and theft. I called them immediately to cancel the order but was told that I would not receive any confirmation from them that the order has been cancelled and in fact, I have no way of knowing if it's cancelled or not. I then called my credit card company and told them to dispute the charge from collections.com and they assured me that I would not have to pay it.
I do not intend to let this shady company get away with this.
deceptive horrible customer service
Let me list the problems with this order.
I placed an order with them, immediately upon selecting place this order a pop up appeared said the Catalina Quilt was unavailable. So the system knew the quilt was unavailable but charged me and started me on this battle.
1. After order was placed a pop up showing one of the quilts as unavailable. Yes that’s right after. Now you are shipping pillow shams for a quilt you told me after the order was place is unavailable.
2. Apparently you changed order numbers because I immediately copied the order number that showed the quilt as unavailable and contacted you within 2 minutes.
3. Charged me shipping and did not give me the 10% discount that the original ordered showed with the total due (to include the unavailable quilt 176.96).
4. 4 days to respond to my original email.
5. Shipped part of the order I clearly asked you to cancel within 2 minutes of my placing the original order.
Ridiculous
I have ordered an outfit set from www.collectionsetc.com website and it took them a long time to deliver my order. When my outfit arrived and I tried it on I felt that it was way too tiny and did not fit. I checked the label and saw that it was an incorrect size. Contacted customer service and asked for a replacement but they said that was the last size in stock and offered me a refund, I agreed.
Later they gave me $10 store credit! What? I paid $20 for the outfit and the refunded only half the price and the worst part was that they gave me a store credit! Beyond ridiculous!
Received nothing but was charged.
I ordered an item on Sept. 4th. Weeks went by but didn't get the item. It appeared on my credit card. I asked why they billed me before shipping the item. Guy said "that's just the way we do it." He told me the item was due to be shipped on Sept. 12. It is now Sept. 29 and nothing has been received. Called their customer service number. It rang twice then NOTHING! These people are crooks. The item was $29.98. The order #W2531180. I would like a refund.
Same thing happened to me. I ordered and item on July 13, 2015, but I never received item. I emailed numerous times with no reply. I called on October 2 and was told it was a popular item( a shoulder pulley?!?!?) and that it was due in on October 8 and I would see it shortly. I emailed a few more times. I placed another call today, December 3 and was told it was sent in July. I started to question the tech and he was rude and hung up. I called back and asked for a supervisor. He, too, said it was shipped. I asked why I never received confirmation of order or being sent. He then told me he had no tracking number. They are bogus liars who try to get you off phone and have no explanation for you.
Too tricky staff and they want to deceive you
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy from the company www.collectionsetc.com, because their customer services were experienced guys and they would scam you very easily. I have got some deals from them and wanted to return all these items, but the staff started to tell me that I needed to buy for the return shipping and other fees, but I haven’t heard about them before. Stay away from this company and their staff.
I just got scammed by 2 cs people from Collectionsetc. They put some of their items on markdowns after christmas. I wanted to buy some of the poinsettias they had marked down. They had RED and WHITE ones on the markdown column with the RED and WHITE one (both colors) under the pictures of the poinsettias on sale. They were 6 for 16.99 at christmas for the RED and WHITE ones. Now they are claiming the WHITE ones are only on sale. That is a lie. If that were the case, the white ones would be the only one showing under the picture of the 2 RED and WHITE ones. They have reduced them to 9.97 now but still saying they are 16.99 when they are under the new column for 9.97. If that isn't FRAUD, I don't know what is. Plain as day and night. All their other complaints are as bad or worst than mine. Never do business with the devil and that is what these people are.
Service
Ordered two things from them off of their website. One item came and was not the quality or look as it was on the website. The second item never arrived. I was billed $39.98 for a doormat that was not worthy of even half that price. When I called them they said that every order is subject to a $4.98 service fee, HUH? And that they emailed me about the second item being discontinued...I can assure you they did not. They also couldn't explain a $15 expedited shipping fee I was charged. They ultimately agreed to refund me $6.08 HUH? The customer service reps were less than able to clearly articulate what had happened and never apologized or offered to do anything but the $6.08 credit. Will never do business again with them and will ensure no one I know will either.
