TBF Financial has violated my Consumer Rights and Rights to Privacy
TBF Financial has violated my Consumer Rights and Rights to Privacy. They are reporting inaccurate information to my consumer report. (Attached)
TBF Financial has been a real pain in the neck for me. They have totally messed up my Consumer Rights and Rights to Privacy. It's like they don't even care about the rules and regulations. They keep on reporting wrong stuff to my consumer report. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to get things right?
I attached the evidence, so you can see for yourself. It's clear as day that they are reporting inaccurate information. I don't know what they are thinking, but it's not cool at all. It's my personal information we're talking about here, and they are just playing fast and loose with it.
I tried to reach out to them to get this sorted, but it's like talking to a brick wall. They don't respond to my calls or emails. It's so frustrating! I just want them to fix their mistake and stop messing with my consumer report.
I don't know what else to do at this point. I guess I'll have to take legal action against them. It's a shame that it has come to this, but I can't let them get away with violating my rights. It's about time someone put them in their place.
So, if you're thinking of doing business with TBF Financial, I would strongly advise against it. They don't respect your rights as a consumer and they don't care about your privacy. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable company to work with.

I ain't responsible for this debt with 12 FINANCIAL PACIFIC LEASING and I ain't got no contract with TBF *** plus they didn't give me the original application like I asked. Account No: 1173*** Amount Disputed: $37,038.00
I ain't agreein' with this debt, man
I ain't agreein' with this debt, man. It ain't mine, ya know? I'm tellin' ya, this debt gotta go back to the original dude I owed. I read somewhere 'bout this Fair Debt Collection Practices Act thing, and it says in Section 809 that debts gotta be validated. So, I'm demandin' that y'all send me all the bills addin' up to $67,328 to my address on this complaint. I already sent complaints to the California Office of the Attorney General, the Fraud Section, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of Consumer Financial Protection Agency. Just to make it clear, I'm demandin' that this debt goes back to the original creditor, alright?
Ref: TBF File No
Ref: TBF File No. ***---- TBF Financial be sayin' that I owe them a debt of $1,974.52 and they be puttin' it on all 3 credit bureaus. They be claimin' that I took out a commercial loan from some company called C and that it was borrowed by a company named ***. I ain't never heard of this company before. I asked TBF Financial to show me a written agreement with my signature that proves I authorized this loan. But they ain't never shown me nothin'. If they can't show me a contract with my signature, I be askin' them to take this mark off all 3 credit bureaus.
I went bankrupt because of personal reasons and my business closed down
I went bankrupt because of personal reasons and my business closed down. TBF Financial bought my loan, but it was discharged in 2018 as part of the bankruptcy. Now, I'm trying to rebuild my credit and financial situation. However, I noticed that TBF Financial pulled my credit report without my permission in August . This is not cool, as they shouldn't have done that.
To make matters worse, I recently discovered that there's a new negative mark on my Equifax and Experian credit reports. It shows that I have an account in collections, and guess who the collection agency is? Yep, you guessed it, TBF Financial. This is totally against the law because this account was already included in my 2018 bankruptcy.
I'm not gonna stand for this. I'm gonna reach out to my lawyer and take whatever actions are necessary to make TBF Financial stop pulling my credit report illegally and to stop reporting an account in collections, which is also illegal. They better get their act together!
I asked TBF Financial for proof of our agreement, like the original contract with my signature
I asked TBF Financial for proof of our agreement, like the original contract with my signature. This is my fourth and final complaint to them about the really bad stuff they told Equifax and Transunion. They replied to me, saying they think they reported my TBF Financial account correctly. But they didn't give me any of the info I asked for, like what FCRA 605B or FCRA 623(a) (6) (B) says they should. I told them I never got anything from TBF Financial, but they keep spreading wrong and mean stuff about me to other people, like the CRA's. They should know that's hurting me.
I don't think this debt is mine, so I'm disputing it
I don't think this debt is mine, so I'm disputing it. I want the original creditor to have this debt back. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act says that debts need to be validated, so I want all the billing statements for $7,090.00 sent to my address. TBF Financial says I owe this money because I borrowed a commercial loan from a company called C. They say the loan was taken out by a company called ***, but I don't know them. I asked TBF Financial for a copy of the contract that I supposedly signed for this loan, but they never gave me one. If they can't show me a contract with my signature, I want this removed from all three credit bureaus.
I sent a certified letter to this company to confirm a debt they said I owed
I sent a certified letter to this company to confirm a debt they said I owed. I asked for proof in writing that I owed them money. They sent me a judgment against a company I was a partner in, called Blackstreet Sports and Entertainment Group. But this showed up on my personal credit report. I never got any papers, never signed anything, and they didn't show any proof that I owed them. If they got a judgment, why didn't they tell me or give me papers to go to court? When a debt buyer or collection agency is involved, the consumer has the right to deal with the original creditor. They didn't send any written notice giving me 30 days to respond. If I had gotten that, I would've sent them a letter telling them to stop contacting me. This info is wrong and their collection practices aren't right. Where's the proof with my signature on it?
A loan was taken out in my company's name fraudulently and I only found out recently when it showed up on my personal credit report
A loan was taken out in my company's name fraudulently and I only found out recently when it showed up on my personal credit report. I contacted TBF Financial, the company involved, to get more information, but the details they provided were either incorrect or not properly verified. Despite this, they refuse to remove the loan from my credit report. When we asked TBF Financial for evidence to prove the loan's legitimacy, they only sent us the document attached to this complaint and nothing else. It's clear that this loan is a fraud and I never received any funds from it. TBF Financial seems to be involved in these fraudulent loan scams, as there are other similar complaints against them on ComplaintsBoard.com. The provided documentation clearly shows the inaccuracies. I've also tried disputing directly with the credit reporting agencies, but without any success. I even hired a credit repair agency to help resolve this issue, but after several months, there has been no resolution. This situation is negatively impacting my personal credit, destroying my credit score, and causing a lot of problems for me. I urgently need this removed from my credit report as it's affecting my ability to apply for any kind of loan. It has also caused significant financial difficulties for me and my family.
On 06/19, TBF Financial made a mistake by putting an account on my credit report
On 06/19, TBF Financial made a mistake by putting an account on my credit report. They claimed that a loan was opened on/about 06/19 with a 1-month term payment of $31,222.00. However, there is no such debt and we have no contract or agreement between us. I asked them to prove the debt by providing a signed contract, but they didn't give me anything.
After doing some research on TBF's business practices, I discovered that I'm not the only one who has been harmed by them. Many others have also been affected. I was advised to check the accuracy of the information reported by TBF on all three credit bureaus. It is well-known that they provide misleading information and use illegal tactics like re-aging accounts, providing incorrect dates or status, and supplying inaccurate payment history. They do this to ensure that negative marks stay on your credit for a long time, regardless of the truth. The information and remarks they insert into our credit files are not mistakes or honest errors. They are deliberately calculated to keep the debt on your credit for as long as possible, whether you actually owe it or not.
Fortunately, I am grateful to the S ***L *** FCPB. They are aware of TBF's illegal practices and are willing to assist. If you have been harmed like me, I encourage you to report TBF and fight back. There is a lot of help available.
