TD My Advantage program
After participating and using the app I did not get the discount promised. I spoke with 2 representatives of TD Bank and no one could show me in my new policy where is the discount. I went threw the policy with them and compared the amounts from each coverage of both policies and the discount was not present there. He told me that the discount was there but he was not able to find it. Also, he told me that the discount would be less because I had to deduct the amount that I was already receiving for just participating in the program. I asked him to show me where this information is written and he also could not show me. This program is a scam.
TD Insurance Review: Great Customer Service but Long Wait Time Needs Improvement
So, I had to call TD Insurance (tdinsurance.com) to ask about my insurance policy. I waited on the phone for like, forever, man. Thirty-five minutes! That's a long time to be on hold, you know what I'm saying? But finally, this dude answered and he was pretty cool. He helped me out with my question and all that jazz. But seriously, TD Meloche Monnex needs to step up their game and make the wait time shorter. Ain't nobody got time for that!
Terrible Experience with TD Insurance: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Support
I had a terrible experience with TD Insurance. I was in a car accident in February of 2023 and when I called TD Insurance, they told me that I had to pay for the rental car upfront before they would help me. I was so frustrated and upset, I didn't know what to do. I tried calling their customer complaints office, SCCO, but no one seemed to care or want to help me.
After leaving four voicemail messages, I finally received a call back from a manager named Giulianna. But it was already three weeks after the accident had happened. I was so disappointed with how long it took for someone to get back to me.
To make matters worse, when I spoke with Vishal, the property damages adjuster, he was not helpful at all. In fact, he made me feel even worse by rubbing salt in my wounds. I was already going through a tough time, and his attitude only made things worse.
Overall, I would not recommend TD Insurance to anyone. They were not there for me when I needed them, and their customer service was terrible. I hope that they can improve their services in the future, but until then, I will be looking for a different insurance company to work with.
Misleading Quotes and Hidden Fees: My Experience with TD Insurance
I tried out TD Insurance's website to get a quote for my car insurance. I was pretty impressed with how easy it was to use, and I was able to sign up for coverage more than a month and a half before my policy was set to start. I figured that since they had my driver's license number and had taken my deposit, they must have done a background check and would let me know if there were any issues before my policy started.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. A week after my policy started, TD Insurance informed me that they had done a background check and that my premium was going to be significantly higher than what I had originally been quoted. I was pretty upset about this, especially since I had signed up so far in advance and had assumed that everything was taken care of.
When I told TD Insurance that I wasn't willing to pay the higher premium and that I was going to switch to another company, they threatened to charge me a cancellation fee. I felt like I was being scammed - it seemed like they had lured me in with a low quote and then hit me with a higher premium once I was already committed.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with TD Insurance. I felt like they weren't upfront with me about the true cost of my policy, and I didn't appreciate the way they tried to pressure me into sticking with them even after they had changed the terms of our agreement. I ended up switching to another insurance company, and I'm much happier with the service I've received there.
Terrible Service and Delayed Reimbursement: My Experience with TD Insurance
I had an accident in January of 2023 and I am still waiting on income replacement from TD Insurance. I have called multiple times and have been met with voicemail, but no return calls. Emails are generally returned, but I have been told that they are out of the office. I have asked for months to speak to a manager about how delayed my reimbursement is, but have been unsuccessful. They don't seem to have a manager available to speak with.
Whenever I call, they send me to different lines to wait on hold, only to speak to another person about the same issue over and over again. Nobody seems to have any answers or solutions to my problem. I am beyond disappointed with the service I have received from TD Insurance.
I would not recommend wasting your time or money with them. It's been a brutal experience and I give them zero stars. If you're looking for insurance, I suggest going somewhere else.
TD Insurance's Online Quoting System is Misleading and Unfair
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with TD Insurance's online quoting system. It's just plain misleading, if you ask me. You go through the whole process, get a quote that seems pretty reasonable, and then BAM! Once you've signed up, paid, and activated your policy, they hit you with a price that's more than double what they originally quoted you. What gives, TD?
I mean, I don't know if your online system is just straight-up garbage or if it's designed to trick people into signing up so you can charge them more later. But either way, it's not cool. I've tried getting quotes from a bunch of other online insurance retailers, and none of them pull this kind of nonsense. If they can't guarantee a quote, they don't sell it to you until an agent has looked into it. Seems pretty straightforward to me.
So, TD, I'm gonna need you to fix your system. It's not fair to your customers to lure them in with a lowball quote and then hit them with a much higher price once they're already committed. I'm not saying you're doing it on purpose, but it sure seems that way. And if you don't fix it, I'm gonna have to take my business elsewhere.
TD Insurance's Inconsistent Response to Hail Damage Claim Raises Concerns of Transparency and Trust
So, we recently had an experience with TD Insurance that left us feeling quite frustrated and confused. We had submitted a claim for hail damage to our roof and received an official letter from TD Insurance stating that they would be paying the full amount of $5700.00 to cover the damages. We were relieved and grateful for their prompt response.
However, our relief was short-lived as TD Insurance suddenly changed their mind and informed us over the phone that they would only be paying $300.00 for the hail damage. We were shocked and couldn't understand why they would make such a drastic change in their decision. We requested that they provide us with a written response, but we have yet to receive one.
As a normal person, it doesn't make sense to put in a claim for only $300.00 when our deductible premium is $1500.00. It would only result in our insurance increasing, which is not something we want. We feel like we are being taken advantage of and that TD Insurance is not being transparent with us.
The main issue here is which response should we take as valid - the first or the second? It's concerning that TD Insurance can change their mind so easily and it makes us very suspicious of their words and letters. How can we trust them to have our best interests in mind when they are not consistent in their decisions?
Overall, we are disappointed with our experience with TD Insurance and hope that they can provide us with a clear and honest response soon. We believe that transparency and consistency are key in any business, especially in the insurance industry where trust is crucial.
TD Insurance's Poor Customer Service and Website Issues
This company, TD Insurance, still uses all the old tag lines when you call them, "we're experiencing a higher number of calls..." "we've been having website issues today..." etc., as excuses for not having people available to take calls or webpages that don't work. The website crashed as soon as it took my credit card information, and email confirmation was not sent, so I didn't know if I had coverage until the charge showed up on my credit card statement. Then I had to start all over again trying to reach someone to have the policy information sent.
It's frustrating that there is no email contact information, and you'll have to wait through recorded messages longer than the Bible before they put you in the queue to wait to speak with someone. Something that should have taken 10 - 15 minutes online took almost three hours to complete. It's hard to believe no one at TD is checking this to see how poor the service is. It's embarrassing, to say the least.
I mean, come on, TD Insurance! You're a big company, and you can't even get your website to work properly? And then you make your customers wait for hours just to speak with someone? That's not good customer service. I understand that things can go wrong, but it's how you handle those situations that matter.
I hope TD Insurance takes a good look at their customer service and makes some changes. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers. I would think twice before using TD Insurance again.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with TD Insurance: Pushy Reps and Ignored Requests
I had a really bad experience with TD Insurance today. I called them up to get coverage for my motorcycle, but the customer service representative I spoke with, Gulshandeep, was really annoying. I just wanted liability coverage, but she kept trying to sell me additional coverage that I didn't want. I told her over and over again that I didn't want it, but she just kept arguing with me and ignoring my requests. She even put me on hold three times for no reason, which was really frustrating.
When I asked to speak with her supervisor, Logan, he told me that she hadn't done anything wrong and that it was their policy to offer additional coverage. He didn't seem to care that I was unhappy with the service I received. It was really disappointing to hear that customer service isn't a priority for TD Insurance anymore.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend TD Insurance to anyone. They don't seem to care about their customers and just want to sell you as much coverage as possible. If you're looking for a company that values your business and treats you with respect, I suggest you look elsewhere.
TD Insurance's Customer Service Has Gone Downhill - Outsourcing and Language Barriers Frustrate Long-Time Customer
I been with TD Insurance for a long time and I really liked their customer service. I used to talk to someone in Halifax, Nova Scotia who spoke English good and was always willing to help me out. I never had to wait too long to get help unless I was doing something really hard. But now, things have changed. They outsourced and the phone connections are bad and the English is hard to understand. I spent over two hours this morning trying to move my car insurance because I moved and they hung up on me twice and most of the time I was on hold. Then when I thought it was finally done, she asked if I still wanted BOTH policies. Why would I want to drive a car from two different places when I already changed my address? I finally gave up and cancelled and I'm going to use a local insurance company where they have good customer service. I might have to pay more but I don't care. I can't deal with their customer service anymore. I asked if I could go to their local office and fix this but they said no, everything has to go through their center. Don't even bother. Just find another insurance company. It's too bad because I used to tell everyone how great their service was, but not anymore.
TD Insurance Claim Review: Poor Contractor and Adjuster Experience
I had a claim with TD Insurance almost 2 years ago and I must say, it was not a smooth process. When I first started the claim, I was informed that I could not choose the contractor I wanted from their list. Instead, I was told that I would receive the next one in line. I thought to myself, "well, they must have done their due diligence," so I accepted their terms.
The contractors had to move a floating deck to put on the siding, which was fine. However, when it came to putting it back, they decided to strong-arm a 10x20ft. wood deck with only 3 guys. I told them at that time that it was not a good idea, but they were insistent. Unfortunately, they have not been able to get the deck bottom 2x4s back into the slotted concrete blocks since then.
After a month, I was informed that TD Insurance would no longer handle the situation and that I was to handle it with the contractor. They did replace some of the outside trim that they lost over the process, but not all the window seams were sealed. I then decided that I would like to stain the wood trim rather than paint it, but they would not allow that. I even offered to provide the stain, but my adjuster Lydia said that "I do not get to tell them what to do" and that they would not be staining the trim. Instead, it must be painted white. Can you imagine the utter nonsense? I even lessened their bill by providing the stain, but she still told me that they would not allow it.
Overall, my experience with TD Insurance was not the best. The contractors they provided were not the best, and their adjuster was not willing to work with me on my preferences. I hope they can improve their services in the future.

TD Insurance: Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Coverage for Vandalism Damage
Yo, so I had this issue with some vandals messin' with my ride and I called up TD Insurance to see if they could help me out. They sent an inspector to check it out and when they saw the damage, they straight up said it wasn't their problem. I was like, what the heck man? I pay for insurance for situations like this! But they just ignored me and didn't even bother returning my calls.
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with TD Insurance. I thought they were supposed to have my back, but it seems like they don't really care about their customers. I mean, I get that they can't cover everything, but the least they could do is explain why they can't help me out instead of just brushing me off.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend TD Insurance to anyone. If you're looking for a company that actually cares about their customers, you should probably look elsewhere.
Disappointing Experience with TD Insurance: High Prices and Poor Customer Service
I've been with TD Insurance for 11 years now, and I gotta say, it's been a pretty rough ride. The prices are always higher than what I expect, and the customer service is just plain awful. The staff is the worst I've ever dealt with. If you're looking for zero value for your money, then this is the insurance for you.
Going through the same with home insurance. They all collude to ghost you. No proper supervision
