Mixed Experiences with TeeOff
As someone deeply passionate about golf, I understand the importance of a seamless tee time booking experience. TeeOff, a platform that promises no booking fees and access to thousands of golf courses worldwide, seems to have garnered mixed reviews from customers. While some users praise the platform for providing great deals and ease of use, others express frustration with issues related to customer service and booking reliability. It's disheartening to see instances where customers faced challenges with refunds, unexpected changes in tee times, and unmet expectations. As a golfer myself, I value transparency and reliability when it comes to booking tee times, and it seems TeeOff may need to address these concerns to ensure a consistently positive experience for all golf enthusiasts. Despite the mixed feedback, I believe every golfer deserves a hassle-free and enjoyable time on the course, and I hope TeeOff can work towards enhancing their services to meet the diverse needs of their customers.
Perfect booking, great saving and great service. faultless
I was a little worried as all the reviews on here were damning... but I did a bit of homework and booked anyway...
If you read them, they are virtually all from people who booked wrongly or wanted to amend or cancel.
I just played golf today and have just booked again for 2 days time...
Instead of 180usd per person per round we just paid 90... so a not insignificant saving on our holiday golf... so saved 180usd on 2 rounds... fabulous
I also emailed tee off before booking to ask a question, got a prompt and courteous reply...
Cannot fault them in my experience
Frustrating Experience with TeeOff.com: Credit Card Fraud & Booking Errors
We recently had an experience with TeeOff.com while trying to book a golf course for our vacation. Unfortunately, we kept encountering an error code when attempting to make the reservation. It was quite frustrating as we had our hearts set on playing at this particular course.
To make matters worse, we received a notification from our credit card company shortly after our unsuccessful attempts to book the course. It turned out that there were some fraudulent charges on our account. When we checked our online banking, we discovered that we had eight pending charges for the golf course that we were unable to successfully book due to the error message. We also noticed four attempted transactions on another credit card that were fortunately reversed quickly.
Naturally, we contacted Tee Off and informed them of the situation. It was disconcerting to hear that they had no record of the transactions on their end. We later learned that the golf course we were so keen on only allowed bookings up to seven days in advance. This was quite frustrating since the course kept appearing on their site with no indication that it was not available for booking. It felt like a complete waste of time.
As if all of this wasn't enough, we had to go through the hassle of reporting the fraudulent activity to our credit card company. They placed a hold on our account, which made it difficult to make any purchases during our trip. It was disheartening to have this happen on a vacation that was meant to be relaxing and enjoyable.
To add insult to injury, we were disappointed to learn that TeeOff.com had been purchased and was now being managed by GolfNow. We had never had any issues with Tee Off prior to this, but it seems that the new ownership has not been as efficient at managing the business.
Overall, our experience with TeeOff.com was frustrating and disappointing. We ended up missing out on playing at the golf course we had our hearts set on, and we had to deal with the headache of fraudulent credit card charges. We certainly hope that Tee Off and GolfNow can work on improving their booking process to avoid any further mishaps for future customers.

TeeOff Review: Save Yourself the Headache - Not All It's Cracked Up to Be
So, I gotta start off by sayin' that TeeOff ain't all it's cracked up to be. Yeah, they may have green fees for some good courses, but let me tell ya about my recent experience with 'em.
I was lookin' to book a tee time at a course I've played before in Cypress, Texas. So, I put in all my parameters and booked the tee time through TeeOff. But when I got the confirmation, turns out they booked me at a course with the same name ... 400 miles away. Like, what the heck, TeeOff? I lost out on the green fees for me and another person, and they wouldn't even let me cancel or get a refund.
I called up TeeOff to see if they could do somethin' 'bout it, and the representative told me he'd give me an $85 credit. But here's the thing, when I checked my account, the credit was in points. So, I gotta spend 15 more points (that's dollars) to get to 100 points, just so I can get a lousy 10 dollar discount on my next booking. That's some sneaky stuff, if ya ask me.
I mean, if you're lookin' for a good deal, I'd say skip TeeOff and just call up the course directly. In most cases, they can give you the same deal or even better. So, save yourself the headache and don't bother with TeeOff. There ain't no real advantage to usin' their service, if you ask me.
Disappointed and frustrated with TeeOff.com's customer service and promo codes
Golly, I sure am flabbergasted by my experience attempting to reserve a tee time on TeeOff.com recently. I reckon I flubbed up and accidentally made a reservation for the wrong course. Dagnabit! So, I tried to cancel my reservation so I could fix my mistake and reserve the correct course for my foursome.
I got an email from GolfNow saying my cancellation request was "under review". Well, I ain't got all day to wait for a review, so I just went ahead and booked the right course anyways. But, I was plumb out of luck when it came to using any of them "promo codes" TeeOff was sending me. They just weren't working, no sir.
Now, I was in a tizzy already, so imagine my indignation when a few hours later I got an email from a supposed "customer support" fella tellin' me they wouldn't credit me for my first reservation, even though I made the right one right after. Malarkey! Instead, they gave me a list of $20 "promo codes". But, hold onto your hats folks, cause it turns out these codes are only good on Mondays thru Thursdays after noon! What a crock!
I don't know what kinda ding-a-ling new management is in charge of GolfNow, but they sure ain't doin' much to please their customers. I sure hope someone over at NBC Sports is listenin', cause this is some downright outrageous business practice.
TeeOff Needs to Fix Their Deal Times ASAP - False Discounts and Unfair Restrictions
So, I've gotta say, TeeOff was offering some pretty sweet rewards with a $10 discount, but man oh man were there some caveats. You can only use them after noon and they expire, which is just plain unfair. I mean, who wants to golf in the afternoon down here in Florida, especially in the summer? It's hotter than a jalapeno fart, y'all.
But the bigger issue for me has been the whole "Deal Times" business. They'll send me an email with a promo code for 20% off, and I'll get all excited to use it for our favorite course. But then I check out the "Deal Times" listed for early in the morning, and sure enough, they're all there. So I'll pick a sweet 7:40am "Deai Time," enter the promo code, and then BAM! Checkout error. So I go back and the "Deai Time" is gone. Poof, like magic.
I try this multiple times with the same results. It's like they're yanking my chain, making me think I can score a [censored]in' deal, only to laugh in my face and leave me with nothing. And meanwhile, all the other times listed for that same course are only good in the afternoon, when it's hotter than a sinner in church.
I tell you what, TeeOff needs to fix this shiznit ASAP or else I might as well take my clubs to the nearest swamp and start whacking at gators. I mean, seriously, what's the point of offering discounts if we can't even use them when we want to? It's like trying to sell a Popsicle to a polar bear. Ain't nobody want that.
TeeOff's Paid Membership: A Hot Mess of Bad Customer Service and Useless Codes
I ain't gonna lie, TeeOff kinda dropped the ball on this one. I thought I hit the jackpot when I signed up with them during a promotion for free golf balls, but boy was I wrong. I never got my balls, and when I tried to contact customer service about it, it was like talking to a brick wall. And don't even get me started on their codes - complete trash.
Now, I can't front - TeeOff used to be pretty solid. I started using them right before they merged in 2019 or early 2020, and when I did a trial membership, they treated me right even when I had to cancel because of bad weather. But ever since I committed to a full year a few months ago, it's been nothing but headaches. The customer service agents are straight-up clueless, and half the time, I can't even understand what they're saying.
Living in an area with a bunch of rain and thunderstorms, I'm used to dealing with cancellations and rescheduling, but TeeOff makes it ten times worse. I'm beyond disappointed with this experience, and honestly, if I could cancel my membership early, I would. But since it's already prepaid, I might just have to take the L.
My advice to y'all? Don't waste your time or money on TeeOff's paid membership. Stick to their free one or book directly with the courses. Trust me, there's no perks to paying for this hot mess.
My Frustrating Experience with TeeOff.com and Promo Codes
So, I was given these promo codes for TeeOff.com, each one worth 50 bucks. I decided to give it a go and see what I could find. But let me tell you, trying to use those codes was a real pain in the posterior. It took me forever to figure out how they work. So, I had to reach out to customer service for assistance, and they were only able to clarify that the promo codes could only be applied to "deal times."
After understanding how the codes worked, I navigated the site to find these "deal times." It wasn't too tough, but it still took me some time to find them. When I finally landed on a course that I liked, I proceeded to book four players. But, what do you know, I couldn't apply all three promo codes offered to me towards the booking; only one would do. So, if the price was more than 50 bucks, I had to cough up the difference. I tried to book the players one at a time, so I wouldn't have to pay extra cash. And that's when I found out that the "deal times" were sometimes not available to book, even though they were displayed. I tried to book over 20 displayed tee times across three different courses, but there wasn't a single available one to book.
Tee Off needs to keep up to date with these "deal times" or else they'll be losing customers left and right. So, I gave up. I decided to call the course and book the tee time that way. Although I did bypass Tee Off, which isn't ideal, maybe I can find another way to utilize the promo codes. Overall, I wasn't too thrilled with TeeOff and don't think I'll be returning.
Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Golf Discount Site
This is not the best site for golf discounts. I heard they got bought out and things changed for the worse. Before, we could cancel up until 2 days before we were supposed to go and only had to pay $3 for each tee slot cancelled. If it had already passed this period, we were given a voucher to use for future bookings. But now? Oh boy, don't get me started. I had a buddy in our group who couldn't make it, and I lost everything I paid for his spot! I mean, it was stuck all the way in the fine print, but still, it's ridiculous. Anyone using this site needs to read every last word if they don't want to end up like me.
They gave me a $20 gift card, but I could only use it Monday through Thursday after noon and only for certain types of reservations. That's not much good to me, especially when it's a terrible experience the entire time. It even rained on my last trip, and I still couldn't get any credit for canceling. What do they want? They want you to lose 100% of your purchase if you can't make it unless the course itself is closed?! That's absurd!
I tried to book a spot for me and my friend next Sunday. I thought I had applied my 20% off code, but I accidentally only booked one person. I tried to go back and add another slot, but my code wouldn't work anymore. So I called customer service and asked if they could help me. Nope, they said the code was already used. I wasn't asking for my money back, I just wanted to add my friend and still use the code. No dice, they said that wasn't their policy. This is just too far. I've never experienced such a customer-unfriendly group of people before. It's like they just don't care about you at all.
So, if you're thinking of using this site, I have just one thing to say: Beware!
Shady Business Alert: My Experience with TeeOff.com
Yo, I gotta say, TeeOff.com was a hot mess for me. I booked a sick tee time, but unfortunately, some things came up and I had to cancel. I called up the golf course to cancel, and they were chill about it, but they directed me back to TeeOff.com for a refund.
When I got on the phone, I thought I was talking to Golf18.com, but turns out they merged with TeeOff.com. The representative I spoke with was kind and told me that I could either reschedule my tee time or get credited for a different one. But then she told me I had to talk to TeeOff.com to get my refund since they were the ones who I booked with.
This is where things got straight-up wack. The TeeOff.com rep said I wasn't gonna get any money back since I cancelled within 24 hours. But, hold up, I found out later that the golf course pro shop said they could still fill my tee time. So who's lying? TeeOff or the golf course?
And get this, TeeOff.com was keeping the money I spent on that booking, not even giving a cent of it to the golf course. What kind of shady business is this? And when I asked why TeeOff's cancellation policy was so different from Golf18's, the TeeOff rep straight-up denied that they even merged with Golf18. Like, what?!
I don't know who actually owns that tee time or where my money went, but one thing I do know is that I'm never using TeeOff.com again. And neither should you, fam. Be warned, this service is straight-up sketchy.
Beware of TeeOff: Frustration, disappointment, and shady practices
My experience with TeeOff has been disappointing, to say the least. First off, my wife bought me a gift card without realizing that it was only good for deal times. It was a bit deceivingly advertised, but I guess it was within legal limits. However, that wasn't my main issue with TeeOff, now owned by EZLinks, then owned by GolfNow, and finally owned by NBC.
When I first tried to use the card, there were technical issues that took a while to fix. But after that, I realized that the deal times were not useful for me, so I postponed booking. When I tried again, I couldn't access my account. So, I called customer service and was informed that they had "merged with another company" and were "transferring" my info, which would take a day or two. I patiently waited and tried again two days later, but still no luck. The customer service representative told me that I had to speak with Natalie, who was not available at that time.
At this point, I was fed up with what seemed like some kind of scam. I couldn't get through to Natalie on Monday, but a girl named Rainbow tried to help me. I asked for a refund and she said she would help me. She placed me on hold for about an hour, checking in every 5 or 10 minutes to let me know she was working remotely and was working on it. I waited patiently for an hour, but when she came back, she told me that I could now access the credit, but not for any tee times. She simply allowed me to access the gift card that only works for limited tee times. This wasn't what I asked her to do.
Finally, I was put through to Natalie, who was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Overall, my experience with TeeOff has been a frustrating and disappointing one. I would advise others to beware of this company and its shady practices.
Disappointing experience with TeeOff.com and TPC Scottsdale's booking system
So, I was planning to hit the greens in the sunny city of Phoenix from 8/29 to 9/3. As I sat down in my living room in Massachusetts, I decided to check out some tee times online at TPC Scottsdale for Sunday, 9/1. I thought I had it all sorted out and made a booking for 11:40 A.M. This was done on Sunday 8/25 approx. 8:20 A.M. However, things did not go as planned. The next day, I received an email saying that my booking was canceled. It provided no details on why it was canned, which baffled me.
Left with lots of confusion, I called TeeOff to inquire about what went wrong. As I spoke to a representative, they claimed that I never showed up for the tee time, which sounded completely absurd. They went on to inform me that I would be refunded the $89.00 my credit card was charged. I waited for a few days, and when I saw no refund, I checked my account and realized that I was charged directly by TPC Scottsdale. I reached out to TPC Scottsdale only to find out that I had to email a PGA professional to get a refund. Unfortunately, the email address provided wasn't valid.
Feeling frustrated and helpless, I decided to book another tee time directly on TPC Scottsdale's website for 9/1, which came at a steep price of $132.42. I thought of calling TeeOff again to see if they could offer any assistance, but they seemed disinterested and provided no help at all. The tee time that I accidentally made for 8/25 was only around three hours before my intended booking. Besides, there were a lot of available slots, so it wasn't like I was hogging a slot on a fully-booked tee sheet.
Finally, a glimmer of hope appeared when I contacted TPC Scottsdale's admin office and spoke to Adam. I explained my ordeal, and despite my previous experience, he was willing to help. Adam took my number and assured me that someone would call me. However, even after three days, there was no call from anyone. I was left frustrated and helpless.
Ultimately, I have decided never to use TeeOff.com or make a booking with TPC Scottsdale again. I believe it's overrated anyway. The whole experience was terrible, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Would never use again
Was traveling to Phoenix from 8/29 to 9/3. While sitting in my living room in Massachusetts I decided to make a tee time at TPC Scottsdale for Sun. 9/1. I thought I had advanced the calendar to 9/1 while searching tee times and made one for 11:40 A.M. This was on Sun 8/25 approx. 8:20 A.M.The next day I got a cancellation email with no details on why it was canceled. I called TeeOff to find out why it was cancelled and was told I did not show up for my tee time. The person made it seem like I would be refunded the $89.00 my credit card was charged. After a few days I noticed no refund and could see I was charged directly from TPC Scottsdale. I called TPC Scottsdale and was told I had to Email PGA professional to get refund. Email address she gave me never went through. Going back I did make a tee time directly on TPC Sottsdale's web sit e. ($132.42) for 9/1. I called TeeOff to see if they could give me any help and they offered none what so ever. The tee time I made inadvertently for 8/25 mind you was only around three hours before scheduled tee time. There was also plenty of openings around this time so it wasn't like I was taking one spot on a full tee sheet. Ultimately I called TPC Scottsdale's Admin office and talked to Adam. I explained to him exactly what happened and that I did ultimately play there and He could certainly look at credit card transactions and see all of this. Adam took my number and assured n
Me someone would call. Finally I found some help.NOT! After three days I called Adam back at TPC Scottsdale's Admin office and he said he forwarded to someone higher up. He told me he would resend it to whoever he sent it to before. I asked if someone would definitely call me back and he assured me someone would. It's been three days and still no call. So not only would I never use TeeOff.com again, TPC Scottsdale will never get another cent from me. It's overrated anyway.
Disappointed by TeeOff's Service: Hurricane Sally Ruined My Round, No Rain Check, No Code, and No Golf
Giving TeeOff (teeoff.com) a star for my recent experience with booking a golf round. I've been using Golf Now for years but decided to try TeeOff this time because the banner on their site said no weather issues. Unfortunately, Hurricane Sally showed up on the day of my booked round but TeeOff offered to give me a code to use for another round. I was actually looking for a rain check instead of a reimbursement, so this worked out fine. However, the code never came through despite being confirmed by one of their representatives via email and phone the following day.
Now they have my money and I didn't even get to play golf. I'm going back to Golf Now instead, even if it means paying the booking fee to avoid issues like this. Golf Now gets a 5 star rating from me, while TeeOff doesn't even deserve one star. It's unfortunate that they've taken my money without delivering what they promised. I feel ripped off and disappointed. Hopefully, they can improve their customer service and follow through on their promises in the future.
Avoid at all costs: Terrible golf course with dreadful staff and carts
I couldn't recommend this golf course less! Don't throw away your greenbacks on this place! Frankly, it's an absolute disaster. Ugly tee boxes, unkempt fairways, and a slew of frequently misbehaving greens make playing here about as enjoyable as a root canal. The staff is little to no help, they've got all the tact and grace of a herd of bullocks. When I asked them some basic questions, they only seemed annoyed and dismissive. I even tried to offer a few suggestions for simple solutions, but they just didn't seem to give a hoot. Also, don't get me started on their dodgy golf carts. If it weren't for their questionable carts, I'm not sure how I would have made it through all 18 holes. I tried speaking with the manager, Kai Coleman, and I was left feeling thoroughly unimpressed. I put down $33 bucks for this experience, and believe me, it was hardly worth the price tag. Take my advice – steer clear of this place entirely. Save your cash and invest it someplace else, like a trip to the corner store or one of those delightful soup kitchens.

TeeOff.com Customer Service Falls Short - Disappointing Experience With Rewards Program
So, I decided to check out TeeOff.com for booking a round of golf. I had an account, but forgot my password. After finding the number on their site, I reached out to a helpful agent who assisted with a password change and then offered to help me book a tee time. I took advantage of this great offer and secured my tee time with no issues.
However, when I returned to the site, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had earned quite a few rewards. I decided to call back to the TeeOff.com customer service number and spoke with a less than enthusiastic rep. Their tone was quite rude and all I could hear was a condescending tone which made me feel bad. I was attempting to use the rewards I had earned, which I had never used before, and was unaware were available.
I explained this to the customer service rep but it was no use. They seemed determined to lecture and inform me of their policy and how it was my fault for not being aware of the rewards beforehand. The customer service rep refused to make any changes and offered no help in the matter. Needless to say, this left me feeling a little disappointed and I certainly didn't appreciate being talked to in that way.
As a loyal customer of TeeOff.com, I hoped that my loyalty would count for something. Unfortunately, there seems to be no flexibility to accommodate customer requests or attempts at saving money, even if it involves rewards earned through the platform. I felt like been teed off after having such a poor experience with their customer service team.
In the end, I have decided to not use TeeOff.com again, even though I have had good experiences in the past. I won't let one bad experience deter me from my love of golf, but I will certainly be finding a different way to book my tee times in the future.
Disappointing Experience with TeeOff: Poor Customer Service and Unfriendly Refund Policy
I recently made a reservation with TeeOff to play golf during the weekend. I live about two hours away from the course, so I was worried about the weather and checked out their refund policy beforehand. On the day of the reservation, I arrived at the course and was able to play three holes before a terrible storm hit.
Due to the bad weather conditions, the course had to close, so they instructed me to contact TeeOff to request a refund. I did as instructed, and when I called TeeOff to explain the situation, I was asked if I had played any holes. I told them that I had played three, to which they responded that I would only get a credit and not a refund. I told them that I did not want a credit, but they still refused to refund my money in full.
After much back and forth, they finally agreed to give me a prorated refund, but they still charged me for the three holes that I had played. I was extremely disappointed with this outcome, as this was not the first time I had issues with TeeOff.
Their customer service was lackluster, and their refund policy is not customer-friendly. I felt like they were not willing to listen to my concerns. I certainly will not be using TeeOff again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I had the option, I would give them a zero rating.
TeeOff.com Gift Card Review: Limited Courses and Restrictive Tee Times
I gotta tell ya, sometimes gift cards are just not worth it. That's how I feel about TeeOff.com. I got a gift card for this website almost a year ago and have been trying to use it on and off for the past 6 months. Every time I try, I run into some major issues. First of all, the number of courses available to choose from is pretty limited. And even if you do manage to find a course you want to play at, the available tee times are even more restrictive.
It's like they don't want you to use the dang gift card! I mean, come on, what's the point of giving someone a gift card if they can't even use it? And when you do finally find a tee time that works for you, it's usually at some unpopular course that you've never even heard of.
Plus, the whole website is just confusing. It's like they purposely make it hard for you to find and book a tee time, just to mess with you. And let's not forget, most of the tee times listed on the website are for the home course, and they charge you more than what the course itself charges. That's just ridiculous!
Overall, I have to say I am pretty disappointed with TeeOff.com. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking of gifting someone a gift card for this website, do yourself a favor and just give them cash instead. Trust me, it'll save them a lot of hassle and frustration in the long run.
Terrible Experience with TeeOff: Refusal to Refund Despite Thunderstorm Cancellation
I gotta tell ya, I'm feeling pretty bummed about my experience with TeeOff. I mean, come on, the PGA is supposed to be all about fairness and honesty, and yet they're letting this shady outfit use their name? I booked a tee time with them about a week in advance, but on the day of my game, all hell broke loose. Lightning! Rain! The works! So, I did the responsible thing and called up the golf course to cancel. They took my name off the list and warned me to give TeeOff a ring as well, just to be sure I got my refund.
Now, let me tell you folks, this is where things really started to stink. When I called up TeeOff to ask for my refund, they flat-out refused. Can you believe it? Here I am, with clear evidence that the weather was a no-go for any kind of golfing, and these cheapskates won't give me my money back. The reason they gave me was that I'd waited too long to ask for my refund - apparently, if you don't cancel within 24 hours of your tee time, you're out of luck. What a bunch of crap.
Honestly, I'm pretty furious about the whole situation. Sure, TeeOff might offer some decent-looking rates, but when it comes to doing the right thing by their customers, they fall short. I wouldn't touch these guys with a ten-foot pole ever again, no matter how much money they're promising to save me. Stay away from TeeOff, folks - they're not worth the headache.
Disappointing Experience with TeeOff: Unprofessional Customer Service and No-Refund Policy
So, recently I used TeeOff to plan my perfect golf day. I was excited about the idea of playing the game with my dear ones until the pandemic struck. As the city where my tee off was scheduled, got affected by increased virus cases, my entire plan went down the hill. I had to cancel the tee-off, but unfortunately, a few of my friends didn't feel safe golfing in the county.
To my dismay, TeeOff had already deducted the entire amount from my credit card, instead of a small token amount of the reservation fee, which other golfing options usually do. After the cancellation, I thought that my credit card would get credited the whole amount, but instead, I was given an expiry-limited credit to use within 90 days.
When I called their customer service, the response I received was very unprofessional, and the agents were unyielding in their policies. It was disappointing as a customer to experience a lack of understanding on their part. Even though I have used TeeOff in the past, I wasn't aware of this policy. They mentioned that some courses execute their own policies, which was never communicated to me.
To conclude, I was left unsatisfied with TeeOff's service, and I would undoubtedly not recommend them to anyone. The rude customer service coupled with the no-refund policy, makes TeeOff a firm no-go for many customers.
TeeOff.com is a Total Scam - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!
So, I thought I'd give this TeeOff website a try for booking a few tee times. First time was a real bummer because the cart wasn't included and I could've saved myself some cash by just going straight to the course. Ended up paying more than I should've. But, hey, I ain't no quitter, so I tried booking through them again. That's when it really hit the fan. They pulled double the amount they were supposed to from my wallet, a whopping 75.00 dollars! When I called to tell them what was up, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. They said that I'd see my refund in three days, sounded like bunk to me, but I waited around anyways. A week passed and still nothing. Can you believe it? Then, on the ninth day, the refund showed up but it wasn't the full amount, they tried to tell me there was a cancellation fee but I didn't cancel nothing! They double charged me, for Pete's sake! They gave me some nonsense about the rest of my money coming in within a week, but by that point I was fuming. This TeeOff website is a total sham, don't trust them for nothing. You could get way better deals by just pickin' up the phone and calling the pro shop direct. Seriously, stay far, far away from TeeOff.com. It's a straight-up SCAM.
Teeoff.com Falls Short: Terrible Course Conditions and Poor Customer Service
Used teeoff.com many times, and gotta say, mostly it does the job. But today was a different story. Boooked a course, paid the reg'lar price, but then found out that the nine hole course was shut down! And it don't stop there, the remaining greens had holes punched in 'em and sand everywhere. Like, deep sand where balls just stop dead. It were atrocious, barely even worth $10, let alone the $35 a player I coughed up. So, I tried to complain to teeoff.com, told 'em I weren't told 'bout no course conditions in advance. They just apologized, nothin' much else. All they offered was 20% off my next bookin'. 20%! Like, I'll be sure to jump on that deal next time I wanna play a subpar game of golf for WAY too much moolah. And, to top it off, they said it weren't their fault, that the golf course itself didn't notify 'em. Whatever. I'm hittin' up a different bookin service from now on. Adios, teeoff.com.
Deceptive Practices on TeeOff? My Frustrating Experience with Booking Tee Times
I was feeling a bit frustrated with my recent experience booking tee times on the TeeOff website. It may be just me, but it seems like I have been running into the same problem more frequently lately. Today alone I tried to make two reservations on GolfNow and four more on TeeOff (which is actually owned by GolfNow), and I faced the same annoying obstacle every time. I’ll spot an available tee time, try to book it right away, and within what must be 5 seconds or so, a message pops up telling me that the booking can’t be processed.
After backing out to the main menu, I find that the tee time I just tried to book has simply vanished. I repeated this process with six different dates across the two sites and each time, right after I hit “book”, poof, the tee time disappears. This has happened way too many times for me to believe that it’s just a coincidence that someone else is booking the same exact times right before me. I’m starting to suspect that TeeOff is playing a bit of a “bait and switch” game.
Honestly, it all just seems so fishy to me. I’ve reached my limit with this constant snag and I’m ready to throw in the towel on TeeOff.
