Texas roadhouse ran a one-day black friday promotion where a $20 gift card was given with the purchase of $100 in gift cards. They gave out expired gift cards on those purchases and promotion. What an embarrassment. Shame, shame, shame on them. The manager made good on the card after I was questioned extensively and made to feel like I was pulling a scam...

We used to eat at Longhorn's Tupelo, Ms and it was our favorite. We started eating at Texas Roadhouse after it was first opened we eat here occasionally and it has always been good until last Sunday night. my granddaughter, my wife and me ate here around 630 p.m. got served and left after 8pm... took a long time to get seated and to place order... many were seated that came in after us... my granddaughter spilled her drink requested assistance... cleaned up table and seat myself with napkins from restroom... several trips... had to get carry out boxes myself... Finally got order, but had to ask where our 2 salads were... waiter said he forgot them…. we had already gotten our order. I thought I had set up email address,. I used auto pay with card at table... evidently I did not setup email address. Sad part about all this we carried my granddaughter to mall at Benes crossing... closer to Longhorn's Steakhouse than to Texas Roadhouse, we passed it twice going to Texas Roadhouse and to carry my granddaughter home... she was past her bed time getting home... My wife says we are not coming back...Actually we are closer to Longhorn's and we can go back... but honestly we prefer Texas Roadhouse... this is my first and only complaint against Texas Roadhouse... I have left several handwritten notes of praise for service and mentioned names of waiters and waitresses here... this is my first unpleasant experience here... I would still like a receipt... even though email address not being submitted is my mistake... my receipt had only$.01 tip... our waiter disappeared and stayed gone for long periods of time. You can reply to my email address.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response...i tried to email a receipt, but may not have setup account.....

Steak Dinner
My family went to Texas Roadhouse in Greenville,S.C. a few days ago,I ordered a Ribeye well done but not burnt. my cousin ordered the same thing.When our steaks were delivered to our table they were both medium and very pink. The waitress stated she would return the steaks and have both of them cooked some more I told her NO by the time they would bring them back to us everyone else would be done with their meal, I tried to eat some of my steak and brought the rest home and gave it to my dog. I don't know why a resturant can't cook food the way it was ordered.Very disappointed in Texas Roadhouse.
Desired outcome: I would like them to get people that knows how to COOK.

On July 25, 2022 we went to the Texas Roadhouse in Greece NY to celebrate my grandson's birthday. We had a great meal and everything was wonderful.
On August 23, 2022 we went to the Texas Roadhouse in Henrietta NY because we had such a wonderful experience for my grandson's birthday. Well, let me tell you we were very disappointed. We arrived there at 5:00 pm.
There were four of us. After being seated we waited 15 minutes before server came. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and meal at the same time. Approximately 25 minutes later the appetizer arrived. Three of us ordered prime rib and the other ordered a different kind of steak. The server came back and stated that they only had one prime rib slice left. One of us took that slice. She then came back again and said that the one slice was gone. We ordered something else. Approximately 20 minutes later the server bought two meals that had been ordered. Ten minutes later they brought the other two meals. They were not hot. We chose not to send them back based on how much time we had already spent.
We weren't asked if we wanted another drink during that process.

Dine-in problem/Manager problem
I am writing to make aware of a situation at your Bradley, IL restaurant. We usually have a great time at this restaurant. Except for Wednesday September 21st, when we visited the restaurant. It was the worst dinner we have ever had at this restaurant. They sat my daughter, husband and I next to a large group sitting at two tables. This group was extremely loud! We had a hard time talking to our waitress, couldn’t talk to one another because we could hear one another. I notice other tables were disturb also by their loud talking and carrying on. We were there around 4pm. I called later on the phone to talk to the manager. She down right told me that she visited every table and ask how things were going and that no one had a problem. I told her she did not come to our table. She then tells me that maybe it was before she got there. I told her we got there at 4pm, the restaurant opens up at 3pm. So I told her that another older couple was sitting behind us and they turned around multiple times to let them know that they were too loud. The manager then told me that she knew who I was describing and she talk to the older couple and they said everything was fine. She then tells me that no one else complained about the 10 individual at these two tables. So I said you know what table was being loud! She said that no one else complained or said anything and that she said they weren’t loud she only heard them laughing and that she was there when the restaurant opened. So my question is, why did she know who I was describing as loud, if they weren’t loud?And, why did she tell me she may of not been there to ask how our meal was, when she said she was there since they opened? So as a customer she kind of made me feel like she was telling me I was lying.
All they had to do was tell the group to hold the noise down a little so us other customers could hear each other talk as well. I’ve never had a problem with this restaurant before. I really don’t know why your manager was point blank telling me I was wrong. I’m sure we will visit this restaurant again due to the food and service usually is really good, but I’m not happy with the manager or how this situation was handled. I’m sure it will be a while before we feel comfortable visiting this restaurant again. I’m sorry that this situation had to go this far, and that the manager should have had better training to handle situations like these. Customer service is for all customers not just a selected few.
Desired outcome: I want them to know, that management did not handle this situation correctly. I wish to be told that this situation was handled wrongly. I want to be told that they they strive to make everyone’s dining experience a pleasant one.
The food was horrible In Tupelo Mississippi
My family and I was at your restaurant tonight in Tupelo Mississippi and the food was awful and the kitchen was so slow. We had to wait an hour to get our food (thank goodness for the rolls) they were the only thing that was good. After waiting an hour on our food we finally got it and all of it was cold. My Salmon was cold and cooked to death. It was like rubber. Send it back and waited another 30 minutes and it was still over cooked. My baked potato was so cold that it wasn't even worth eating. It was so cold it wouldn't melt my butter either. My childrens mac and cheese looked like it came out of a box and was so cold that they couldn't eat it. There mashed potatos tasted like they were instant mashed potatos. My mothers meal was cold and nasty. Her sweet potato wasn't even hot to melt the butter. The corn taste like it came out of the can. No season whatsoever. My son and my mother chicken was hard iuas a rock. They couldn't eat it. Overall I am very disappointed in the service of the food. We spent $55.60. And it wasn't worth it. I would like to be reimbursed for the money I spent tonight. This kind of service needs to be seen about.

Literally worst experience ive ever had at roadhouse. Clara never refilled drinks and gave attitude when asked to. Ordered beer and it took 10 minutes to come out that the bartender even brought it to our table and it was hot. Stated that restaurant ran out of bread and A1. The steak was undercook and gave an attitude for an upcook. The steak took over 20 minutes to return back to our table. Didn't want to comp off a drink that wasn't needed/drank. Hardly visited the table and server manager Dianca didn't visit on our table. Food wasn't brought together everyone ate separate and we didn't get to enjoy our meal as a family. I wont be returning to this roadhouse.
Desired outcome: Refund and retrain your server.

Meat not cooked as ordered, after returning it twice.
On 8/10/2022 my friend and I went out to the Texas Roadhouse at 180 Collier Drive, Sevierville TN 37882. We ordered our drinks, and then our meals. We both had the 6oz sirloin with salad and baked potato. We had ordered our steaks as a medium well and a medium. My steak came back as medium, and her's came back as rare, it was brought to the attention of the waitress and it was sent back, as I sat there not wanting to eat my meal before she got her's back, mine got cold ( I ate it anyways). Her's comes back again this time with the floor manager bringing it to the table, asking her to check it before she left, and my friend cut into it and it was again rare, and was taken back a 2nd time. By this time our meal was ruined, I ate my meal, and my friend at her salad and baked potato, she told the waitress to just forget the steak. We were both shocked when the bill came and they charged her for the baked potato, and the salad, (of course we expected to be charged for the drink). When we questioned the bill the floor manager said " well you did eat the potato and salad." Hello the steak was part of that meal, and it was sent back twice. I feel her meal should have been comp'd, for the simple aggravation of the steak not being cooked to order, and ruining the whole eating out experience. If this is the way things are going to be, we will not be coming back.
Desired outcome: I think we both are owed a refund, after all the whole meal experience was ruined from the returning of the steaks, and the attitude of the floor manager. Attached is the heading for my receipt. Thank you.

I’ve been disappointed twice visiting this location. The last time I visited we made a reservation to sit and after an hour of waiting my party were seated only to be told we would have to get up once more to wait another 45 minutes by the manager Takya. Today when we visited the Pearland location, our food came out hours late after tables who were sat at the same time as us had eaten and left. The same manager Takya came by to bring us our food speaking sarcastically. I am beginning to not want to come sit in to eat ever at Texas Roadhouse again.
Three meals we were served.
The Hayes’s family went to the Texas Roadhouse location in Bowling Green Kentucky on Sunday August the seventh about 1:30 pm.There was a party of five.Three of the meals were not done properly.My daughter’s “Roadkill”came out only browned on the outside and completely raw on the inside.My wife ordered an eight oz sirloin medium and it came well done.My son ordered a prime rib medium and it came rare.We only mentioned the Roadkill to the waitress

On 08/05/2022 My family and I sat down for dinner at 8:30 ish. I ordered the steak and ribs combo, cut my steak put in my mouth and I noticed something on the knife, which was food stuck on the knife. Immediately it turned me off. I asked plastic utensils and nibbled, didn’t enjoy it at all after that. Also today I look at receipt and she charged me for a margarita with sangria 18 rocks. I did have two drinks but someone else paid for it.
Desired outcome: 1st I would like to have my money back for drinks that someone else paid for.2nd The food on the knife itself changed my appetite so maybe a free meal.

Wife ordered carryout from TR location in Huber Heights Ohio [protected].
Everything was fine except the apple pie. See Photo. We think it was dropped or thrown. See photo. The pie was $6.99. The condition of the pie was unacceptable.
We live over a half hour away. Returning the pie just was not convenient.

Quality of food served
On 7/21/2022 at 5:46 we were seated. One dinner a 20 oz ribeye was thin, dry & no taste. The other steak that was ordered medium, was served rare with blood dripping. This steak was sent back & I received after I had finished my entire meal.
Restaurant location. Shelbyville Rd. This is totally unacceptable.

On the evening of July 25th, I called to get on the wait list for dinner at the 2475 Barrett Creek Parkway Texas Roadhouse for a party of 13. The purpose of the occasion was to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday. Upon entering the restaurant at 7:34 PM, we learned from the manager that we would be separated to different areas of the restaurant. I informed her that we did not want to be in different areas and asked if she could make better arrangements. She seemed a bit disturbed that I would even ask. She and another young lady went off to locate a better option.
Upon return she was heard commenting that we “would have to just squeeze in”. I was not aware of this until later upon arrival at the arranged seating. We were given a booth for 6 plus an extension for 2. Across the isle was another booth for 4. It immediately became apparent that we were short 1 seat. When the waiter arrived, I asked him what we were to do, and he had no answer. I looked around and saw an area that would accommodate all 13 of our group, but he refused to even consider other options, so I asked for the manager. He then stated, “she will get mad and just ask you to leave”. I was a bit shocked at that response but apparently, he was familiar with her demeanor and was afraid to approach her. Based on his response I walked away to find her.
The manager met me halfway to the entrance and refused to even hear my request or suggestions. She was extremely rude and asked us to leave. I asked for her name, and she refused to give it to me. We all promptly exited the restaurant.
On the way out, I asked the host for her name and was told it was Tami, but she didn’t know her last name. I picked up her card (Tami A) on the host stand. She called the police based on our encounter and had a warrant issued for me!
I have never been treated this way in any establishment. I have enjoyed many meals at your restaurants including this location in the past. It was one of my favorites. I was completely shocked by Ms. Ambrose’s rudeness and unwillingness to even try to accommodate us. I have been in customer service for over 40 years, and I have a hard time believing that customers simply don’t matter anymore.
Sirloin and shrimp meal
Last night 7/21 my wife and I ate at your Evansville IN location. We were there to buy $2500 worth of gift cards that she uses in her real estate business. Good service at the bar from Austin. The menu shows normal size shrimp with the 8oz sirloin. It’s one of your higher priced plates. My shrimp were popcorn size and had to be scraped off the wooden skewer. I would rather have been told “we are out of shrimp” than be substituted with junk.
Desired outcome: 25$ gift card or comparable and don’t ever do that to anyone else

Kingston location. I recently visited the location in Kingston ny with my pregnant wife. After 20 minutes of standing by the bar I sat down at a table that was open. I was told I couldn’t sit there at the same time my table was available. I ordered appetizers and drinks .I was then told by a Manager that I have to have my food in order to have another drink because they assumed I had been drinking already, which I hadn’t been. I was treated very unfairly and as a result decided to leave. It’s was extremely embarrassing as I said I was with my Pregnant wife.

I never eat any knid of steak as i do not.like steak at all. And only one mustard.
I called said i never ordered any kind if steak and ask them if they would bring my ribs and take the steak back they said dont do that.
Needless to say the small potato and tiny salad were not much.
My dog and neighbor ate the steak.

Manager / food delay
We had lunch at the Ocala location. I got two appetizers for a meal, but one was served far before the meal. My husband ordered a steak and chicken combo, the meal came out without the chicken. We were first told that it would be right out, then it would be 3 minutes and then another 1.5 minutes. We all finished our meals and then still waited for the chicken. The server said that the manager would bring the chicken out, but she didn’t. When she did come over she, Gina, explained that the chicken was frozen and first refused to do anything to compensate us for the wait and inconvenience. When I pushed back she said she would take 10 % off since we were taking the piece of chicken home. She took 10% off the meal and not the entire bill, $2.20 total. I have waitressed and managed restaurants for a long time and I would never had let a customer leave without making it right. Very unprofessional and poor business acumen.
