The UPS Store charges for non-delivery

We paid for a package to be delivered - UPS says it tried and no one picked up at UPS - even said they talked to someone who said they would pick it up but never showed up - but there was no such person. The people receiving package never even knew they were about to receive the package we sent. All lies. Now UPS store in Hudson, NH want us to pay again so they can try again. No way!

We paid for a service and they did not provide that service. All they need to do is drop the package in the building's lobby as we have paid them to do - no signature or anything else needed.

The UPS Store Shipping overcharge

I am a loyal customer of UPS for many years, so I always prefer UPS to other companies . But recently I had a problem.Track.# 1Z03WV210348573904. I paid $27.97 for regular shipping of 1 CD (weight - 4oz). They charged me for 2 lbs, box 10x10x10, and pack materials, but in real CD was in envelope . Yesterday, I visited the UPS store, the worker did not accept his calculation mistake. After a long discussion, he offered me $20 from his own valet, but I did not take it. Please, solve this problem. I have some photos as proof. If you need it, I can upload it

The UPS Store Did not receive full refund

The UPS store manager of Salem, NH messed up my international package very bad that was costing me a lot of money. He terribly messed up very bad. He had to cancel the first transaction, because it came back to my residence 2 or 3 times. Therefore, he made a second transaction, so that it can reach the destination of another country. For the first transaction, I only received a partial refund which is wrong, instead of the full refund. They told me that I will receive the other refund, but the store manager was making terrible excuses and he was causing a lot of procrastination and a lot of problems until it was too late for me not to receive the other half of the refund. A very terrible UPS store at Salem, NH. I am still very disappointed and very mad with that store. The general manager and the UPS franchise owner were not aware of what the store manager was doing to me to mess up my international package that was causing a lot of anger with me that I still have. The UPS franchise owner told me that I was supposed to call him at a certain time which he never informed me. Shame on the store manager, the general manager, and the UPS franchise owner for doing a very terrible job to customers, like myself.

Desired outcome: I wish to receive the remaining $290.08 that they were supposed to give me as my refund.

The UPS Store Printing of flyers

We ordered 1000 flyers that I designed. They were supposed to be on glossy card stock. When we came to pick them up all but 2 were just glossy paper. Paid 600 for something I could have done myself. The store did not take it very seriously. Blew my boss off when he called. Really bad. They stuck 2 card stock flyers in with 998 pages of reg paper. Pretty much just a 600 dollar slap in the face.

vile, rude, and laughed about it.

He gave incorrect info on policies, nasty response and is alarming in his demeanor as far as hostile. Shouldn’t be working near people

Also Amazon should get involved as he wouldn’t take a return for them and wanted to charge 5.00. He needs to educate himself on policy and customer service.

Yesterday 10/24/2022 treated badly and laughed at my face with his other coworkers at these store 6985 at 2227 Bel Pre Rd silver spring MD 20906.Came to do a notorize simple.Brought my husband and his actitude changed immediately.maybe in his country he can get away with that but not here in USA please.will not come at these store6985 even though I live here close by.All Hispanic employees that day I am also Hispanic (Argentina).Hope you take the matter seriously.

I arrived at the store at 10:00 am to ask for the notary service. I was told they were not present and to return at noon. I returned at noon and the notary did not arrive. I asked when they would arrive and was told they didn’t know. I asked to make an appointment and was told that an appointment was not needed even though it is clearly stated on the signage in the store that appointments are available. They insisted they do NOT make appointments. This is service at its worst. Employees are clueless and unapologetic.

The UPS Store Pack and ship services

I engaged The UPS store in Riverview FL#7605 to pack and ship home an item. An employee arrived at the house to measure the item. First I was told it would need to go freight and I would be called with a price. Then I was told it could go ground for a price. When the same employee arrived and measured the item again, I was told the pricing was incorrect and $30 was added to the estimate. I agreed and the item was picked up and taken to the store for shipping. When I arrived at the store to pay for the items packing and shipping, I was told that the item should be shipped freight but that they would honor the ground estimate. However, I would need to pay for the item but wouldn't receive a tracking number that day. There was discussion of altering the item, which I refused to do. I received an email with a tracking number 2 days later, with information stating that they attempted to alter the item and that they would pack the item safely to attempt to prevent the wheels from being broken. In addition 4 new wheels were sent with the item, "in case needed to replace the wheels. The item arrived with 2 wheels removed and a third one broken. The packaging was minimal and in no way packaged to ensure the integrity of the wheels on the item. I have called the store and been left on hold for an hour. In addition, I received a call from the employee, who stated that it was just a wheel and that I was taking advantage of their guarantee. However, I paid for packing and shipping. The item was given to The UPS store in full working order. They have a guarantee that states if the item is broken in transit, I am eligible for a refund of my packing materials which was $70. I have included pictures below of what that included. IN addition the guarantee states that I may be eligible for reimbursement for the cost of shipping. While I understand the employee feels that they provided the best service possible, I disagree and believe I am entitled to the guarantee associated with the service purchased. I have emailed the store, waited an hour on hold to be told by the employees supervisor that she wouldn't talk to me until speaking to the employee and confirmed that she was there when the item was altered.

Desired outcome: I am requesting reimbursement for the pick up and packing of my item. My item was broken in the packing process while altering my item that I did not approve. Please review the call placed to my phone on 9/6/22 at 6:58pm for discipline.

The UPS Store Terrible service, misleading service offering

I needed a fingerprint card for a security badge and was told the UPS store has this service. I purchased my fingerprint card but noticed the prints were not clear after returning home. I returned to the store and showed them the card and they agreed they were not clear. I had a new card made with the employee actually taking my fingers and placing them on card one at a time but still had issues with the quality where the employee put stickers over some prints and re-did them. I went to send this card to the State Agency but was told this card is unacceptable, the formatting of the prints was incorrect, and stickers were not accepted on the card. At which point I had to pay again to have them re-done at another location. I was told that the original UPS store could provide a refund for the inept fingerprinting service they were selling. I went to that store and explained that the card was unacceptable and needed a refund. The idiot assistant manager first accused me of lying that I had the card done with them as they don’t use stickers. Only to be contradicted by the employee standing next to him saying yes, we do and that is the signature of one of our employees on it. After this revelation, the assistant manager became dismissive and rude saying there is nothing he can do as he doesn’t have the power to process a refund. He indicated I would have to talk to the manager when they came back on Monday. Not once did he acknowledge the issue and offer an apology or solution, rather he acted as though it wasn’t his problem, and he could care less that a customer was in front of him. We tried to explain that we wanted this issue resolved and he walked away and kept repeating the same thing he didn’t have the ability to refund anything as the assistant manager. He was cocky, dismissive, argumentative, and displayed no customer service whatsoever, to the point where he looked as though he was ready to fight rather than admit any responsibility for my issue. I relented and agreed to come back the next day to speak with the manager, making the fourth time I had to return to the store for this one fingerprint service. After arriving the next day, the assistant manager acted as though he had no idea why I was there and told me the manager was not in today and I am out of luck. He refused to even offer any solutions, never once offering assistance, or apologizing for my having to come back so many times due to their incompetent service. Once again dismissing my complaint and walking away as I was insisting, that he help me resolve this issue. He continued to accuse me of creating the issue and that there was nothing that could be done, he acted aloof as though this was beneath him. He refused to even acknowledge the issue I was having and stood there offering nothing in the form of any customer service. His denial to acknowledge my issue further exasperated the issue. With no other solution I asked for the manager’s information to contact them, and he said they don’t have any contact information I would have to call the owner. As I was taking the card the owner walked into the store. I explained the situation to the owner at which point the assistant manager now became animated and vocal feeling confidence with the owner present to deny my issue and arguing I was wrong, and the stickers are acceptable (this is the same assistant manager when first confronted claimed they don’t use stickers) with the support of the owner now teaming up on me refusing to help or offer any customer service whatsoever. The owner told me to go get a rejection letter for the fingerprint card and come back. I explained to him that this was flagged prior to delivery as unacceptable so I did not have a letter and he just shrugged and said nothing I can do for you. All this for $20 which they could have resolved if they had acknowledged me as a customer. Now they lost a customer for life, and I will tell everyone I encounter never to use them or UPS.

The UPS Store The ups store in oroville ca

I sent out 2 boxes on monday the 1st of August. The person recieving has not got it .come to find out the store did not send the package out until today the 6th of August. That long it was sitting at the store .why didn't they send it with the other box. What had to check out what was in there .the store in oroville calif is were it was at. Never will do business with them again no ups for me .

Desired outcome: They need to pay for shipping it foster or refund the money that it cost to mail it.and that store needs to be held reliable for there actions.

The UPS Store Customer Service with an employee

I was at the UPS store located at 8201 Golf Course Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120 at approximately 12:15 pm August 3, 2022. I waited in line about 10 minutes to be told that 2 of my packages couldn't be left there for USPS by a Rude Employee named Carla. She said to the employee helping me "She needs to take those packages to the Post Office" I advised that I have always left them at that store, and I never had any issues. She flat out said "You have to take them to the post office because I have issues with the driver." I believe in customer service because I too had a public service job for over 30 years, and it was never tolerated, and I always went the extra mile to help my customers because that was what we are there for. If she doesn't like her job, then she should find something else where she doesn't have to deal with customers.

Please advise.

Desired outcome: She (Carla) needs to change her attitude, and there shouldn't be any exceptions to the rule it is either take the USPS packages if they are already packed and labeled to go for everyone, not pick and choose how your feeling that day.

The UPS Store store closed

We paid for a full year of service for a location 2730 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Duluth, GA 30097 in April 2022. This location has closed. We were not notified. What do we do now? Is our account transferable to another UPS store?

The UPS Store Did not deliver in 2 days

UPS Store in Fredericksburg at 754 Warrenton Road is the Worst! We paid for 2 day delivery $146, they DID NOT disclose that they do not work on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays and even the receipt said the package would arrive on Wednesday the 6th. It did not arrive until the 7th. Called UPS they said I have to talk to the store, store said I had to talk to UPS. Then they explain how they don't work on the weekends, that 2 day is not a guarantee, only an estimate, they don't do refunds, there are no store managers to talk to, etc etc. UNBELIEVABLE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The UPS Store Return

My printer wasn't working to print a return label, so I went to the UPS store to see if they could print it out. They told me I needed to us there computer. I had to wait for the computer. Once I got on I was trying to figure out how to use it. No one in the store offered to help and they had no one in the store at the time. It took me two sessions. It cost 2,99 a session plus .60 cents for the copy.

After I was done. I walk up and was ignored for a while, didn't even say I will be with you in one second. The other guy took an customer who just walk in. When she finally took me I asked her why they stopped printing labels. She said they never did. I know she was lying because I used to go there all the time for returns. All the do is rip people off.

The UPS Store Employee had personnel property discarded

I have worked at store 5311 contently for 10 years and for MBE/UPS Stores for 23. On 7/1/22 the store changed ownership and an inspection was done. I had a circa 1983 'boom box' for 35 years ( a collectors item by make) in the store. I realize it was not in compliance, but the past owners liked it because it was a conversation piece with customers. It had great sentimental value, it had been through a lot.

I hid it for the inspection on the ground behind a large copier, out of sight. The new owner said someone from corporate had thrown it out. I believe it could have been stored until I came in and would have taken it out of store permanently.

I don't believe anyone above store owner level has any respect for the most important company employee, the person behind the counter. Not one field level or higher person has ever introduced themselves upon entering the store, or had a conversation with me not work related. Two exceptions in my time were L.M. and R. J. in Atlanta.

The owners I have worked for were great, I have made many friends with customers I will continue relationships with, but the short sighted actions of one person on July 1st has ended my 23 year employment and good will toward the UPS Store.

Desired outcome: An apology from the responsible person. I do not want compensation.

The UPS Store Lost package with sensitive and confidential information

Hello,

I went to the UPS store yesterday, June 9, 2022 to ship out the most important package that I've ever had to ship out in my entire life. I paid $90 to get it shipped overnight - expected to be delivered by today, June 10th by 3 pm EST. Earlier today, at 6pm, I went to check the tracking information and it said "Label Created" "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible". I walked to the store as it's a 2 minute walk from my house, and when I got there, the worker at the store, told me that my package was lost.

How does a package get lost in not even 24 hours? I gave it to the UPS worker, he put the shipping label on it, he put it to the side, he told me he put it in the white bin, the truck delivery guy got it at 6:30 PM and somehow it was lost between then. Only 2 people handled the package.

LET ME TELL YOU WHAT YOU JUST LOST:

This was a folder with sensitive documents enclosed, an application for the K1 visa address to the U. S Department of Homeland Security. This package had personal and confidential information - my social security card, my birth certificate, my drivers license, my passport - my fiance's passport and identification. His family's information, address, my familys information and addresses, photos of us, messages between us, travel documents.

You will be liable if this information gets stolen from me and is used.

This envelope needs to be found and returned to me.

I trusted this UPS store to ship the most important package of my life. It's not fair that because of someone carelessness and lack of responsibility, I am now going through an extremely stressful, tragic, traumatic experience and mental anguish, knowing that someone out there has my information, my family's and my fiance's. It also had a money order of $535 issued to the U. S department of homeland security. This folder was supposed to go to the government, not get LOST.

Please continue to look for my package and return it back to me if found. Please look through your cameras at the store. I was at the store at 12:16 pm EST on June 9, 2022.
