The Villa Group/UVC International, Constructura Los Arcos del Cabo review: Vacation membership/timeshare

Avoid doing any kind of business with this company!

On July 3, 2023 we attended a mandatory sales presentation given by The Villa Group/UVC International, Consructura Los Arcos del Cabo in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico as a condition of a reduced rate stay at the Krystal Grand Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.

Diego, the sales representative, misrepresented and blatantly lied at several points during the presentation. In addition to making several promises about the membership points, their use, their resale value, how to list them, and their promised assistance, they also created a form they claimed was a prior offer from a representative during a different presentation over seven years prior. On this form they claimed one of us had received a specified offer. However, the person for whom they claim the offer was created did not operate under that name nor live at that address on the date in question. (Side note: we had attended a presentation 7 years prior, but for a completely different organization.)

Many, if not most, of the verbal information given by Diego and his colleagues during the presentation were in direct conflict to the written information contained on approximately 15 forms.

Legal reasons for cancelling include: clear misrepresentation and fraud, lack of capacity due to an inability to read all of the contracts, and one of the contracts was not initialed by both of us.
