Worst Company to Deal With
First of all this Co is called The WALking Company and or ABEO shoes. The shipping is so slow for this day and age. Average delivery is 4 weeks. And forget if you have to wait for a credit for a return, my credit took 3 months to process and that was after several phone calls to the company with proof of return delivery. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company to receive the money for my return and it was 96 days after they received the product back.
Recommendation: Shop elsewhere
Disappointing Experience: The Walking Company's Easy Return Policy is a Myth
The Walking Company is not the best place to buy shoes. They say they have an easy return policy, but that's not true. They also never seem to have the right sizes in stock, which is frustrating. Plus, they make you pay extra for insurance to ensure your package arrives safely, which is definitely not free. It takes a long time to get your items, and even when you do, the sizes are often wrong. Overall, I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you're looking for a hassle-free experience.
Disappointing Quality: The Walking Company Shoes Review
I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about these shoes from The Walking Company. I mean, I shelled out some serious cash for 'em, and what do I get? Painful blisters on the inside of my feet, thanks to the cushion part completely ripping. Not cool, man. Not cool at all. I wouldn't recommend these shoes to anyone, especially not if you're looking for something that's gonna last you a while. Honestly, I wish I could just return 'em and get my money back, or maybe even a new pair that won't fall apart on me. But hey, I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, right?
Beware of Hidden Fees: My Experience with The Walking Company's "Free" Shipping and Returns
I recently ordered some shoes from The Walking Company and was disappointed to find out that their free shipping offer wasn't exactly free. They added a $2.95 charge for "route protection" which I didn't really understand. And when I decided to return the shoes, I was hit with a $10 fee for the return label. That's a total of $13 just to try on a pair of shoes!
I think it's important for companies to be transparent about their fees and charges. If they're going to advertise free shipping and easy returns, then that's what they should provide. Adding extra fees and charges just feels like a sneaky way to make more money.
That being said, the shoes themselves were good quality and comfortable. I just wish the ordering and returning process had been a bit more straightforward. If you do decide to order from The Walking Company, just be aware of the extra fees and charges that may be added to your order.
Disappointing Experience with The Walking Company: Delayed Delivery and Poor Customer Service
I ordered some shoes from The Walking Company website more than 3 weeks ago, but I still haven't received them yet. I'm really disappointed because I bought them to wear to a wedding, but now it's too late. I tried to contact customer service to find out when my shoes will arrive, but I had to wait on hold for more than 30 minutes and no one ever picked up the phone. I'm really frustrated because I don't know if I'll ever get my 3 pairs of shoes. I would advise others to be careful when ordering from this website.
The Walking Company's Website: Sketchy Payment Verification and Dishonesty
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with The Walking Company's website. They're asking for my phone number just to verify my payment, which seems kinda sketchy to me. I mean, what do they need it for? Supposedly it's for security reasons, but I'm not buying it.
To make matters worse, they cancelled my order without telling me for several days. And get this - when I asked them about it, they straight up lied and said they sent me an email to let me know. But I never got any email from them!
It's a shame, really. I've spent a lot of money with The Walking Company in the past, but I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. There are plenty of other places to buy shoes from, and I don't need the hassle of dealing with a company that can't even be honest with me.
Disappointing Return Process with The Walking Company: A Review
I had a bit of a rough experience with The Walking Company. I bought a pair of shoes that didn't fit quite right, so I decided to return them. I sent them back and waited patiently for my refund to be processed. However, after the stated amount of time had passed, I still hadn't heard anything.
I decided to give customer service a call to see what was going on. The representative I spoke with told me that sometimes you have to call to request that your return be processed. I found this a bit odd, but I went along with it. They assured me that they would take care of it right then and there.
Unfortunately, it wasn't all smooth sailing from there. The representative told me that it could take up to 14 days for my money to be credited back to my card. They even tried to blame the delay on my bank! I was frustrated, but I decided to wait it out.
In the end, it took over a month from the day they received my return for me to finally receive my refund. It was a bit of a hassle, but at least I got my money back in the end. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with The Walking Company. I hope they can improve their return process in the future.
Poor Shipping and Customer Service: My Experience with The Walking Company
I ordered some sandals from The Walking Company website on June 4th. According to their website, the sandals should have been shipped within 5-7 days. However, it's already June 9th and the only update I have received is that a label was created. I have tried to contact them through email and phone, but they couldn't give me an exact date of arrival. They did, however, credit my account with $20 for the inconvenience. I was hoping to cancel my order and get a full refund, but they told me that it was not possible. I find it ridiculous that they can credit my account but not refund my money.
As of today, I still haven't received any confirmation of shipping and I am still without my sandals. I am very disappointed with the service I have received from The Walking Company and I will never use their website again. My next step will be to call my credit card company and file a dispute.
Overall, I would not recommend The Walking Company to anyone. Their shipping times are not accurate and their customer service is lacking. It's frustrating to not be able to cancel an order and receive a full refund, especially when the product has not even been shipped yet. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.
The Walking Company Website: Poor Inventory Management and Customer Service
So, my old man got me the wrong size shoe from The Walking Company website and they didn't have my size in stock. I had to wait for them to restock my size and return the ones I had. After waiting for three weeks, I still didn't get my shoes. I was getting impatient, so I decided to shoot them an email. They replied that my shoes were back-ordered, so I had to wait some more. But then, I got another email saying that my order was cancelled because they didn't have the shoes in stock anymore. They told me to contact customer service, so I did. I called them several times, but I never got an answer. I called during their hours of operation, but I was always sent to voicemail. How am I supposed to get this fixed if no one will help me? It's frustrating, to say the least.
I wouldn't recommend ordering from The Walking Company website. Their website and what they actually have in stock don't match. It's a waste of time and money. I hope they improve their customer service and inventory management soon.
The Walking Company's False Advertising and Fraudulent Sales Tactics: My Disappointing Experience
I recently made a purchase on TheWalkingCompany.com for 3 pairs of New Balance Rebels. However, when I received my order, I was disappointed to find that they had sent me the wrong sized shoes and even a female shoe in a male New Balance box! I paid a total of $157.44 for my order, but it seems like they intentionally sent me the wrong items.
I reached out to the company and received an email from Devin Patterson confirming receipt of my request. I asked for a prepaid return shipping label and a refund for their false advertising and fraudulent sales tactic. I even provided pictures as proof, but I haven't heard back from them since.
I'm really frustrated with this experience and I just want my money back. I provided my phone number so they could contact me, but they haven't even bothered to do that. It's really disappointing when companies don't take responsibility for their mistakes and instead choose to ignore their customers.
I hope that The Walking Company will take this complaint seriously and provide me with a resolution. I'm requesting a refund of $157.44 and a prepaid shipping label if they want the shoes returned. It's only fair that they take responsibility for their mistake and make things right.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I hope that they will review my case and help me get the resolution I deserve. It's frustrating to have to go through this process, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get my money back.
The Walking Company Review: Deceptive Website, Strict Return Policy, Lacking Customer Service
The Walking Company, or WalkingCo as they call themselves now, is a company that claims to sell high-quality shoes and accessories. However, their website, www.thewalkingcompany.com, is not what it seems. They claim to have highly trained sales staff, but there are no actual store locations. This is very misleading and borders on fraud.
When you order from them, they automatically add shipping protection called "Route Package Protection" without your consent. You will only find out about this once you receive the order confirmation. This is very deceiving and can be frustrating for customers who don't want to pay extra for something they didn't ask for.
They also promise "Easy Returns," but this is far from the truth. They use email addresses that don't exist, such as ***@happyreturns.com. This can be very confusing for customers who are trying to return their products. They also have a very strict return policy that can be hard to follow. If you don't adhere to their policy, your return will be rejected.
If you purchase your own return label, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. They recommend that you insure your package for the full value of the merchandise, as they are not responsible for any lost packages. They also require that all items be returned in the original box/packaging and placed inside a shipping box. Any damage to the original shoe box, such as tape, shipping labels, or markings, will void any return and result in the items being returned to you. If you don't have the original shipping box or inner protective packaging, you can use any shipping box or inner packaging found at your local shipping carrier or package materials store.
You can start your return process online by using their return method or the shipper of your choice. However, the customer is responsible for shipping costs. They are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit, so it's important to insure the package for the full value of the merchandise if you choose to ship it back at your expense. They also require that a form be filled out and placed inside your shipping box before mailing.
If you need to return one or more of your order, you must use the full order number: WK-XXXX. If you choose to use their return label, there will be a $10.00 shipping charge deducted from your return. However, there is no charge for self-returned items.
Overall, The Walking Company is not a company that I would recommend. Their website is deceiving, their return policy is strict, and their customer service is lacking. If you're looking for high-quality shoes and accessories, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The Walking Company: Disappointing Customer Service and Unfair Pricing Policies
So, I was checking out The Walking Company's website and decided to order a pair of shoes. But, when the shoes arrived, they didn't fit me well. So, I decided to return them. But, when I contacted the customer service, they told me that they have already refunded my order "at my request". I was surprised because I never requested a refund. I just wanted to exchange the shoes for a different size.
To make things worse, I found out that the shoes were still in stock and available for purchase on their website. But, they were now priced $40 higher than what I had paid for them. I felt like they were trying to rip me off by making me pay more for the same shoes.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with The Walking Company. Their customer service was not helpful and their pricing policy seemed unfair. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and honest online shoe store.
