Customer Harassment
I bought a broad band connection last year from Tikona Digital Networks. The service was so bad that i called the customer care to discontinue my service. They did not do so even after repeated calling for a week or so.
I also sent them an email to stop the service and refund me the money for the few months advance deposit that they had taken from me. But they kept sending me monthly bills.
After a few months there technicians came and took away the company hardware and got a release receipt signed. Even after that the bills still kept coming for another 5 months or so.
After a year now I get a call from a very rude guys who threatens to file a suit against me in Delhi, unless i pay the outstanding amount of Rs. 400. Mind you I have taken the service in Pune, Maharashtra and Delhi has no jurisdiction in the matter.
Today again a got a call from an Advocate A.P. Singh from Delhi Civil Court, at least that's what he said his name was. He said he is about to file a suit against me for an outstanding sum of Rs. 780.
The company is an absolute fraud. The customer harassment is wide spread. I know a few people in my locality itself who have faced a similar problem with Tikona Digital Networks.
I want a refund of my money as well as compensation for this harassment. Other wise i will file a criminal complaint against this company and its representative who have been harassing me.

GUYS, Never go for tickona Internet connection... Here by i would like to share my experience with TIKONA.
10Days before i have requested Tikona Internet connection through their website. I have given all the details like my address, contact number and etc. After 3 days i got a call about the enquire and they promissed that within next two days they will be giving the connections. So i cancelled the plan to take reliance or airtel and decided to continue with tickona. As they promised the second day one guy has to come to my home and installed a hardware and given me a paper (Steps), i have to follow. And as per his instruction i paid the advance + installation (Even through installation not completed) amount through credit card But i couldn't complete the first step it self (open 1.254.254.254), it was giving an error "Page Cannot found". I tried to call the installation guys, but no response. After that i tried to contact through customer care, but every time was getting very polish answer like we have taken the request, updated and etc, Today 4th day after they installed the hardware...still i didn't get the Internet... Please guys, don't ever go for TIKONA connection..
Note: Another funny thing is the guy installed the hardware in ### way.. The antina is shaking every seconds. because they don't have a proper installation kit..

Tikona is a very bad company with such a poor services. I am staying in Gurgaon, laxman vihar phase 2 and facing lots of issue. Never apply for tikona services, i have broadband connection from
tikona and it does not work 15 days out of 30 days. I am fed with the services given by Tikona company. I have so many complaints against them and they are also so frequent but still they never
able to resolve and i always get an sms stating that your complaint is resolved. Few of my complaint details are as follows:-
1) Not getting discount on online payment. For few months i got the discount, but from last three bills i am not getting discount while i am still making online payment and thats also before time.

2) Very frequently my internet is not working at all. I have to raise complaint almost daily just to get my internet working. Even the executive visited my home corrected the issue, and when he left, just after one hour my internet again stop working. The mobile number of executive came at my home is : [protected] (he was keep asking me my internet password two three times. I did not gave him the password, i enter it myself always. He did change my password without any reason then i have to reset it to keep it secret from him.

3) Few days back i got the sms that if i opt for paperless billing i.e. bill will not come at home, it will directly send to my email id, then i will receive some gift, and there were big list of gifts. I opted this option, but didnt recieved any gift, i forgot i am dealing with fraud company, it their another dirty cheap trick and nothing else. I call on customer care and they said we are not tracking such things, you will recieve email. Strange thing is that, hardly anyone will recieve any gift sure.No hope for justice, this country if full of such companies, just awaking others that tikona is another fraud company. Can somebody put full stop on it.

Even after raising lots of complaint against Tikona, my problem didnt consider. I have lots of
connection correction request too, but Tikona is never able to provide a single day with average

I talked to senior Vishaal, he commited issue will be resolved permanently, but there was no
resolution. I keep facing the issue, even next time i try to talk to him, but he respond through the
engineer that he is busy and will do the callback. But i never recieve a callback.

I talked to Pradeep on 9Jul2013, the call got disconnected inbetween and no one response back. I had
to call again. I look like pradeep could not resolve the issue so he disconnected the call.
I also talked to Tushaar on the same day, he was very genuine and nice person, talked nicely and tried
to resolve my issue at his best. But after 2 days it again stopped working.

Fraudsters and worst service
Tikona is thee worst Internet broadband service theat one can take. Its a complete fraud. theey do not give you your individual modem or anytheing of theat sort.
The installation guy doesn't mind if you have cable lying all over your house floor. They do not have a proper installation procedure.
I had taken Tikona service just last monthe, but I am so frustrated withe thee poor service and speed theat I want to discontinue thee service and get a refund back on thee money I spent.
I had got a unit installed in thee first week of June, but it did not start functioning right away. After a number of phone calls and visits by technicians, it was almost 10the of June when it finally started operating.
Withein one monthe I had to call your ridiculous customer service 3 times due to no Internet or extremely poor speed. I was not even given a complaint number for some of theese calls. One of thee complaints was not even resolved. Their customer care executive even called me for a follow up but did not send a technician to solve thee problem and closed thee complaint witheout resolving it.
I got thee complaint number for disconnection more thean 10 days back. After theat I got 2 calls to ask for status update and I told theem theat It has still not been uninstalled. And theen after a weeks time I again get a call and theeir customer care executive asks me if he can help me resolve thee problem.
What kink of crappy customer care service is theat. Three of theeir customer care executives failed to inform me theat I need to write a mail to get my connection discontinued, despite having my complaint number for disconnection.
Tikona is thee worst broadband Internet service theat I have ever had. It is horrible speed and extremely poor customer care service. Their so called 24x7 customer care actually only functions from 9 to 5, when any office going individual is unavailable. I have mailed theem to discontinue my services and refund my money.

My plan is 4 mbps circuit breaker ADCB 1199 with initial payment of Rs1000 before installation.
Issue started when the first bill came. Additional Rs 1000 was quoted in the bill without proper detail.
When contacted the customer care he cannot explain the same and finally they disconnected the connection now.
I contacted the local tikona guy who I met first for the connection. He accepted the bill amount was wrong and collected the correct first bill amount of Rs 800 from me in cash with all soft copies of bill details to his mail promising he will resolve the issue.
I found he CHEATED me when I received the second bill as that Rs800 I gave is not reflecting in the bill

Initially I was promised of guaranteed maximum bill amount of Rs1499 with 4mbps speed but my first bill is more than Rs1800 and speed rarely at 4mbps. (usually around 2mbps ie., half of the speed promised).
You guys exceeded poor service.
Its beyond the words "POOR" "FRAUD" etc. I never came across this kind of service provider in my life.

i want to file a complain against tikona wi-fi. my user id is [protected] and may name is RAKESH BAJPAI i got connected with tikona on 11th may and I have paid Rs. 1213/- for installation changes in advance. The guy promised me for the good speed and active customer service but i found all this wordings as fake and i am just fed up with this slow speed and very poor customer service. i have filed complain on 12th may but no one come for the checking i have complained at least 20 to 25 times but i am not getting any response from this fraud and cheater tikona connection then i have also filed my complain in tikona toll free number bt they are also not giving us the proper answer i have decided to get disconnected with this rubbish connection and complain for this also then again the same reaction was given by the customer care now 10 days have passed and still i got no response . i have disconnected it from my computer and wanted tikona to take back their modem and return my money back. i want my money back. This is ma last responsibility completed from my side to complain to tikona now i will file complain against this in consumer forum

I applied for broadband connection and tikona executive reached my place and verified the signal and assured that the signal is good and asked me to choose a plan and I opted 6 months rental plan INR 799/- PM by paying inr 5293/- In cash on 27 feb 2011. Later their technical team approached to my place and said there is no signal, so installation wont be done. And said I will get refund within 2 weeks.
From that day onwards I didnt get any refund of a single rupee and their response is also not good. Instead of refund, they called me many times to make the payment of monthly charges even without installation.
I called up the customer care several times and always they need one month time to send my refund back. I spent more money on my calls to their customer care.
After 3 months they again called and said your refund will be settled in one month.
I would like to tell the pain and misleading information by tikona to other people and get refund through this forum.

Tikona is a fraudulent company with untrained, ill-manned, uneducated and stupid employees.
I made a grave mistake of purchasing a connection with them 2 years back and after using it for 2 months i had it disconnected because they have really bad network speed even if it is promised 1 mbps Google.com takes 2 min to load.
Even 2 years after disconnected i still get calls from their billing desk saying that you have pending bills. WOW

I am using Tikona from past 6 months with a download speed 512kbps, so far it was excellent, but recently i have noticed that if I have a active download on Torrent / Lime Wire & there is no activity on the internet (i.e. Browsing) the download speed drops for Torrent / Lime Wire & as soon as I start browsing the internet the download speed increases.Does Tikona has a idle time out for internet activity... Tikona Broadband complain - Regd return of cheque
I had submitted my application on 23rd Oct for Broad band connection vide application # xxxx along with a cheque for Rs. 500.
After a week, installation enginner had come to my residence. HOwever instalation was not done since there was no coverage in that area.
I had requested to return my cheque along with the application but there was no proper response. Inspite of several reminders & calls, no one cared to return the cheque.
I have also mail them a couple of days back, hoping a positive response... !

Cheating on bill
I have taken tikona wi bro connection in april 2010.
I have taken unlimited plan 'f599' per month of total amount rs685 per month. Tikona service men told that i will receive full speed 512kbps. But. .
The speed was worst. I had logged many complaint on customer care site and on telephone frequently but i always get bad response. Customercare always said that they(Tikona) are going to improve with in couple of days.
From june mid week, the connection was disabled. While asked to tikona customercare officer he said that its undershifting. But after 15 days we asked for removal of their sevice(Disconnection) . But he told that " we are going to improve u can check on tikona site", we also asked tikona customer care that i havenot use service for 25 days, and if now i 'logged in' you would charge us for 1 day, so we would not log, but he assure that "tikona would never charge while repairing period as not giving proper service of full speed".
Due to customercare officers assurance, we loged in.
I was looking forward for speed 4 days i tried to get speed but all in vain. I cannot get their assured speed. Finally second time in july i gave complaint for disconnection. As their is no other procedure in tikona for disconnect other than telephonic customer care, this disconnection i had done on 18 july as well as on 24 july. (Tikona) they said on telephone to pay their bill of july for disconnection. So i had paid their july bill also on 5th august. Even then tikona did not disconnected connection and continue to bill for unlimited usage. The tikona customer care requested me to see that connection is working, by logging in on my id, so then i tried for connection speed by logging in but again same problem. And i again had telephonic talk for disconnection. Tikona assured that we had been disconnected and their wifro assembly will be taken back in couple of days. After some days again august bill given to us. Whereas in july i had already been said for disconnection and as stated above i had logged in tikona by their request for connection test
In september their technician came for taking out tikona wibro assembly. Even then tikona till now are charging us each month bill. With no usage for 4 month tikona still attaching each month increased bill, we didnot have even their assembly for 3 months.
And on 24 november a person mobile no [protected] named manasi called me "to give amount of rs600 for settlement then tikona will provide me letter of complete bill paid and disconnection succesful".
But still they are not done as per assurance, and not talking after certain time callingon same mobile. This is pure cheating. Pls they had to be punished. I want justice.
From the day I have paid the cheque for installation, they are literally harassing me. Till today almost after a month no connection installed. I have spent at least 100 Rs on calling their executives. Every time they promise it will start and it never does. I missed so many important and urgent works in between. I had to run here and there to be able to send mails from internet surfing cafes.

we are unable to pay our bill as the tokona online payment site is having some problem, when we called the customer care allways he says another 2 hrs it will be solved, from past 1 week i am trying and i am unable to pay the bill. Also called customer care person, who told he will be coming and collecting the money since 2 days, also, he did not turn back. I am unable to drp the cheque or DD as there are lot many procedures in our office, which will delay the payment. Hence suggest me alternative

I am Unsatisfied with Tikona service. My problem is speed had adopted 599/- plan with Unlimited downloading and uploading.
Speed I get it is 6kbps to 130kbps ranges with time. I have continues calling to customer care service all the technical and managers in the customer care says give us 48hours,
Sir i had taken tikona service on 11th of 2009 December ensuring that your service will be good but your company
Tikona is worst and fooling customer belief.
All the customer care says switch off your modem for 5 min and then release ip and renew ip and then our technical person would come to your home with in 48 hours.
But Sir no one came for last 6 days of my connection for the first 3 days speed i got is 319kbps then after the speed gradually decreased
.I have checked my speed in tikona speed where it show 287kbps when i check in outer site network like 2wire.com my actual speed is 4 to 130 kbps ranges Sir they convienced me saing that our connection is end to end connection .

This complaint is with respect to the worst internet service provided by Tikona Digital Networks to me.
I recently subscribed to Tikona Digital Networks which projects itself as India's best Digital ISP. My ordeal started since the day I got this broadband installed. My user id is [protected]. The problems I faced are as follow:
As per the Bill no. B1-932753 the Bill amount is Rs 425.89 for the period 8 May’10 – 26 May’10 whereas it became operational from 9 May’10 around 2:00 clock at noon & after 24 May’10 it is not working. Also please tell me how this amount is being calculated. As per my calculation it comes out to be Rs 320 (599/30 days * 16 days).
I am victim of this ISP after paying Rs.500 towards installation charges for a 300kbps internet with a Wi-Fi enabled modem. The speed I get is 9 kbps & it takes almost two hours to download file of 5 mb. Even dial up gives good speed. And to worsen this net refuses to work 8 out of 10 times.
Repeated calls only result in call centre execs telling me how SORRY they are and how they are ’escalating’ my issue and it will be resolved within 48 hrs which now added up to 6 days.
The last complaint number is 1 - [protected] which was made as software wasn’t installed properly. The executives came on 24 May’10 & installed it & when the second issue was asked regarding slow speed they told
The net of the window was creating the problem as it disrupted the signal transmissions from APC.
The second argument was Signals are coming from multiple APC’s & not single APC.
They committed that the problem will be resolved within 48 hours but till now no action is being taken.

Seriously, I have no words to describe the worst connection provider and moreover the much worst customer care service like Tikona. But I really want to say so that no other person will suffer by taking this connection.
See how they behave?
First, I have been suffering from network issue for past 2 weeks but every time they are assigning invisible engineer who never has visited and apart from resolving the problem they are adding more problems every day.
But moreover their customer care service.
See the words they use when asked why this thing is going on?
1. “I can see there is no problem right now so I am not taking complain”
2. And how their team leader response when I asked what is his name 2nd time because of his bad behavior, He directly told “I am not going to say it 2nd time”
3. I even received this type response that shouting at me (to a client!) and when I told don’t raise your voice he directly told “I only talk like that, do you want your problem to be resolved or not?”
4. He directly told, ” my system is showing that you did not call before so…” (See I have been calling for past two weeks and they are behaving like this) and seriously, he did not take my complain.

Internet is down since a month now. No body seems to bother for the customer. Absolute lethargic approach. Totally irresponsible organisation. Nobody seems to have any clue about the issue. No resolution is expected from these people. From the call centre executive to the area service manager (Mr. Rahul T.) to the Mumbai region Nodal Officer (Mr. Vikas Bhosale) all are useless. Their appellete authority Mr. Nagesh Prasad also did not respond. Looks like a fly-by-night operator.
Please dont go for Tikona because they are the most important frauders which i have ever seen in my life... I have disconnected my tikona and hand over the device to the tikona persons but still am getting bill for every month... The most important cracking thing is " Peoples from TIKONA BILLING DEPARTMENT " they called me and said that " WE ARE THE LAWYERS AND YOU HAVE PENDING AMOUNT IN TIKONA, SO WE FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU AND YOU MUST COME TO COURT AND PAY Rs.10000 /-
Then i asked to the person to whom i hand overed the device, so they said that " Those tikona peoples will call from there Billing Department and tell us that they are LAWYERS but you just ignore the call... mmmmm PLEASE BE AWARE OF TIKONA FRAUDERS !
Tikona is by far the worst company i have ever used guyzz n girls never ever use tikona wifi or net bcz its only a fraud company who only use a cheap medium to get there money. They will never ever answer your phone nor they will call you or they will never ever give u service . guyzz trust me i have been through a worst time bcz of this net. goon company they charged me a bill which i never used . i called there person they never came. n last bt not the least thet charged me 3000 bill which i didnt used n then they filled a case aganist me in delhi court to get there money n harrassed me for it . n that case n court orders were fraud to get there money ... guyz n girls i know we all need a good net with a respective speed the company promised.But really guyzz never ever use tikona you will only pay the bill, speed will be promised 4 to 5mbps and you will get 100kps. this is 100%true never use it... tikona company m gonna fill a compliant against your company for faurd

I paid advance rent for 6 months for my net connection. and suddenly my net disconnected and i come to find the problem of disconnection is no payment. i complain that in the company to resolve my problem because its still 4 months advance payment left and after 15 days the problem is not resolving. i daily called in company but from the first day of my complain (18/07/2010) they always told me that within 24 hours your problem will be solved. Its 15 days after that my problem is not solved and now very angry to their customer service.

I am Yasmin My subscriber Service ID [protected]. and I have already done my final payment towards disconnection of the service. on dated 29/08/2011 the sum of Rs.750. and i have the acknowledgement copy with me. but some of your people again and again calling from Mumbai and they are saying i am not paid for this. and he wants to take legal action against me . that person Ph no. is [protected] .So check it and give response for my mail. if do u want any further verification about my acknowledgement i will send one copy attachment.please go through this acknowledgement and give me solution...

Tikona is the worst Company and I agree with jshakthi and jaykainthola and they make Harresment as well. Better not to go for Tikona..
