This company has a very poor return policy and their customer service department ranks as one of the lowest I have come across. All communication is conducted without names and they will not let you talk to speak with anyone. I would not recommend this company and would ask anyone looking to by snow chains for their car/SUV to look somewhere else. SCC Chains is a much better company to deal with (I spoke with them as well and they always seemed to be ready to help) and will give them my business in the future. I regret having made a bad decision to go with the low price supplier.

Subject: TireChain.com Return Authorization

There is not a way to get them back to you within the 15 days that I received them because tomorrow Feb 21st is 15 days from when I received them on the 6th. I ordered 2 sets of chains (order# 100785 and 100788) and used 1 set and left the other in the garage. I have been on vacation and yesterday was the first opportunity to return the chains. Is there any leniency you can offer, or a couple of buffer days so the chains can be returned next week? Please let me know.

Thank you,
Dan

I am very disappointed to hear that. I will make sure not to buy chains again from Tire Chain and tell those who ask about it to find a more lenient supplier.

I agree! I live New Jersey and needed some tire chains but when I called to get some assistance to guy I spoke to was rude and almost seemed like he was too busy to help. I went to vulcan tire and they were very helpful and the price I paid was very competitive.

I did some checking for and it looks like the president of the company is David Goldblatt. D&B shows they are a small company so you might not get to far with them. If you need more info let me know.

I am sorry I did not first read the Blogs about this company. I ordered 2-Pair (quantity-4) of snow tire straps for emergency use. They arrived, via UPS, ($14.99 UPS charge added to invoice shipping from Pa to Georgia? Each pair was in a white canvas bag, stitched across the top. The bag was stamped Made in China. All this seemed fine until I opened the stiched bags and found that three of the four tire chain straps, could not be re-closed with the locking mechanism. Nothing lined up properly. Obviously these people receive the merechandise in from overseas and never check to see that the mechanical parts line up and that everything is working properly. I was going to contact the company and fiqured it would be a no brainer replacement. After all, they shipped out faulty merchandise and natutrally I assumed they would replace at no charge. Then after reviewing their horrible return policy I realized that I would have to ship the faulty merchandise back to them at my expense, and if I got another poor quality replacement, I would again be shipping back at my expense. Also, if you decide that you want to return the merchandise, they hit you for a 15% RE-STOCKING FEE. OK, so they got me for $60.97, the total price of my order with shipping. I am throwing these chain straps away, it is not worth the aggervation to get a partial re-fund. Chalk this up to my stupidy! Hopefully you will learn by my mistake and those of the others posted here, about this company.
