Titan Solar Panels review: I want to cancel the contract

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I bought 50 solar panels from Titan Solar at the end of 2019. The panels did not start operating until April, 2020. At first, everything was going OK. Then at the start of 2021 the solar panels stopped producing electricity. A serviceman from Titan came over to fix the problem. We were told it was an inversion issue (the panels were not sending power to Nevada Power and therefore we were not being credited for the power the panels were producing).

Since July this year, the solar panels have not produced any electricity. The company told me that there is again an inversion issue and that the inverter would be replaced. It's been nearly a month and the inverter has not been replaced. My electric bill in August - for July to August - was $550. The latest bill is $510. Because I am paying $377 a month for the panels themselves, the last two months I have been paying nearly $1000 a month for electricity. Before I installed solar panels, my average electric bill was $375 all year.

I complained to Titan about my predicament but the manager there told me that I should have known about the problem since July and had informed Titan about the problem then. The manager told me that the contract says that it is my duty to monitor the functioning of the solar panels system and I should have reported the problem right away. She said that was in the contract. I can't find my copy of the contract and I don't remember being given a copy of it.

I requested twice for a copy of the contract and to-date I have not received the copy. I suspect the company is intentionally making it difficult for me to get a copy of the contract because I had indicated to the manager there that I would have the contract looked at by my lawyer.

Desired outcome: and have Titan pull the panels out and repair the roof of my house. Also, I must be compensated for the excessive power bills I have been paying.
