We have always had great service at Tom Gill Chevrolet. We have purchased two vehicles there, both from Marlon P He is great and the service you will receive there is fantastic. Everyone is always so friendly.
Went to Tom Gill on a Saturday and was not hounded by vultures. Instead I was given time to see what was available then make a decision. I appreciated that. When Marlon came to talk to us, he asked if was liked anything we seen or if there was something he could show us. I explained to Marlon what I was looking for and the price range I needed. Long story short, Marlon took the extra time and effort to put us in the right vehicle, a 2014 Sierra. Through the whole process, Marlon took additional efforts helping my wife and I to talk by allowing my 3 yr old to watch cartoons on his computer. When the deal was done, I was welcomed to my new truck and we were off as happy customers. Unfortunately the truck threw a check engine light just 3 days later but repaired promptly. Awesome salesman and very good service department.

The day I pulled up to Tom Gill Chevrolet, I had no clue they were already closed for the day because the hours had not been updated on the website. So when I arrived Marlon was actually the only salesman still around at the time because he was finishing up something. However, even though the dealership was closed and he was technically off he STILL took the time to talk to me for a few moments about what I had came looking for--because I was already prepared! Naturally nothing could be done that day though so information was exchanged and communication begun. I NEVER made an additional trip back to Tom Gill Chevrolet after the initial meeting because Marlon was all over everything that we discussed the evening they were closed until it was time to pick up my new Angel! If I had a question or concern about something he was on it quick and managed to get me everything I wanted in my new truck without having to pay the cost of a Red Line model! I highly, highly, highly recommend Marlon P as your next salesman when visiting Tom Gill Chevrolet! My 2020 Chevrolet Traverse is everything and a bag of chips thanks to Marlon and the team at Tom Gill!

My insurance said my car will be totaled, go shopping for new car, a week later theyre changed adjuster on me, decided different, meanwhile I shopped for car, I got a phone deposit off $500 down, to hold a new car. Now the salesman hung on me up, dont give me answers, I apologized for the inconvenience! The car what was on hold got sold, it isnt a loss for them, but it looks like they keep the deposit!I feel its very deceitful to keep the whole amount! I was alway honest and forthcoming with them, now they wont even answer my phone calls!

Tom Gill Chevrolet is the worst place to shop for a vehicle
Tom Gill Chevrolet is the worst place to shop for a vehicle. I bought a truck paying 16.000 dollars for it and two months later found that the front two rotors were bad and needed to be replaced along with the Break pads. They at Tom Gill are the ones that told me all this was going to cost me 500.00 dollars. I asked them if the vehicle had been serviced before i purchased it and the salesman James told me that it was serviced. I explained that if it had been serviced that they should have seen that the front rotors were bad and were in need of being replaced. I told them that driving it on the expressway would have shown them from the pulsating when applying the break that the rotors were bad, and needed to be replaced. They told me at Tom Gill Chevrolet that the expense was my problem. If the Truck was serviced they would have found the problem after test driving it and should have fixed it. I feel that i have been deceived and will never do business with these people again. I plan on passing this on to all my friends and family.

I went to Tom Gill Chevrolet for an insurance repair and used their collision center. Unfortunately, they installed the parts wrong and didn't send me the two remaining parts as promised. I've talked to the manager and the associate handling my claim, but it's been weeks and I still haven't received the parts. I don't have time for this and I'm not paying for another week of rental car. I want my deductible refunded and a refund to my insurance company since they didn't do their job right the first time.

I took my car to Tom Gill Chevrolet on December 30th 'cause the transmission was acting up and the check engine light was on. They looked at it and said there wasn't anything wrong with the transmission, but there was still a code in the computer. I brought it back on January 14th for the same problems and they said it needed a new transmission computer and some internal work. They did the work, but the same problems were still there and a cross member fell off while I was driving. I went back to the dealer on February 26th and they fixed the cross member, but said there was nothing wrong with the transmission. On June 16th, while I was out of town, the transmission went out again, only 3,651 miles later. I had to take it to a local dealership and they replaced the transmission computer again 'cause it was shorted out. I had to rent a car for two days and it cost me $560.71. Tony at Tom Gill told me they wouldn't pay for a rental car for parts they replaced that were faulty.

I got a car from Tom Gill Chevrolet, a Ford Fusion 2013. The car was supposed to be in service so I couldn't test drive it at first. When I came back from test driving another car, they said the check engine light was on because of low fuel, but they got it fixed. I bought the car, but 3 days later the light was back on. The sales guy said he would talk to the manager to get it fixed, but I didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I dropped off $1000 for the down payment of $2500, but then the car caught on fire on September 19th while I was driving my kids home from school. I bought the car on August 23rd, so I only had it for 2 weeks. On October 1st, I dropped it off at Tom Gill with the temp tag still on it. They said coolant leaked into the oil and caused the fire. I think this was the issue that made the car go into service before I bought it, and they just turned off the light to sell it. Now Tom Gill won't fix the problem. Ryan M was my sales guy and Elizabeth W checked it into service.

I got a car from Tom Gill in September . I also got their best extended service, the Platnum plan. After just 16 months, the instrument cluster started acting up. It wouldn't come on, change screens, or would just go black. I took it to Tom Gill on January 26, 2022 (service request attached). They took it to a local dealer, who said a new instrument cluster was needed. But it's been five months and my car is still broken. I've called many times, but the service advisor can't give me any updates. I asked to speak with the service manager, but they just gave me back to the original advisor. I asked her to call the dealer and get back to me, but no return call. I waited a month and called again, but had to leave a message and got no response. I feel like they're avoiding me. I paid a lot of money for the extended service plan ($2,299 for the Platnum plan) and can't get my car fixed or talk to anyone who knows what's going on. I'm starting to wonder if anything has been done at all. I just want my car fixed. Please help me resolve this. It's sad that it has to come to this when I trusted them and paid so much for the plan. Thank you.
