TopResume resume rewrite

I paid to have my resume professional rewritten. I provided feedback after receiving the first draft and had to email twice before I received a response from the writer. In the second draft the writer did not address the feedback items I had explicitly outlined and the delivered resume was virtually no different than the initial resume I provided. The only changes were related to formatting and the formatting changes were not even very good. I was very busy and unable to review the second revision right away and was then told that my review period had expired. I was never informed that there was a time limit when I originally ordered the service. I emailed them in hopes that someone would resolve my complaints but the response I received was only a refusal to do anything.

TopResume resume writing service/cv service

I paid them in April to rewrite my resume after their initial "free review" gave lots of pointers that seemed tailored to my resume. Once they collected my money, the sandbagging began. It took several emails to even get my first draft...2 weeks after I paid I finally get a 1st draft and it's my exact resume but reformatted with bullet points and a couple choice words swapped out (likely with the use of a thesaurus). They changed my degree which was odd. I asked for a complete overhaul because I was not satisfied and yet again, had to wait several days for another reply. Their services are that of a high-school level, amateurish and now looking back I see that a lot of their "reviews" online are probably fabrications too. I am sorry I fell for this trap and I hope others heed my warning not to do business with them.

TopResume resume

This automaton Katie Warren that keeps emailing me to spend money for a better resume, after reviewing what was sent.

The major problem with that is I never sent one to be reviewed.

I have gotten no reply to that question, just more spam to spend money with them.
IMO the pen name person Katie Warren & TopResume is a fraud service.

TopResume resume editing service

I hired them in March 2016 once they sent me a good discount, so I hired the most complete package which assures you to have a Top reviewer, a LinkedIn profile, a "cover letter" and all the edition service of your Resume.
I found that they collected very effectively my money. but after I sent them all my information, which was extense, they took several days to contact me back. It surprised me that they sent me a draft version of my CV and a "cover letter" that were a complete joke
It was evident that they did not even read my resume, because they included a fifth of my work experience and one third of my studies, but what really pissed me off was that the CV they sent me was 90% different of my experience & Skills, and the cover letter they sent me, was totally not applicable to me.
I complained about this, they replied 4 days later (they only give you 7 days to review) with a newer version, which was a little bit more complete, but was still oriented to other type of person, not alligned to my experience. I sent my comments immediately back, and then I received a newer version (3 days later) after the deadline to review. They just sent me a notice saying "since your time to review has ended, we have concluded our services with you". I complained back and I never heard from them again.
Beware of this Fraud company!

TopResume resume

I paid for the "expedited" service and was shocked that it took three writers and over 4 weeks for TopResume to "re-write" my resume. Their writers were clueless and could not even properly put together a summary of what I did that looked good. They basically re-formatted my resume and used the verbiage that I had previously give or take a few words. This is the 3rd resume service I've used over the past 15 years and the only one I've been displeased with. I recommend using anyone else. Don't go for their sale!

They did similar to me too. Really sad that all their reviews online are fabrications - notice all the users only have 1 review that claim how wonderful this service is? They probably pay their employees to set up fake accounts and post fake reviews. Horrible service.

TopResume fraud company!

I've ordered a resume and a cover letter from TopResume and the total amount I paid was over $185. I never received the resume and cover letter. I contacted them many times and every time they said that these had been sent. Then I contacted my back and opened a claim against TopResume. TopResume provided them faked emails in which they claim to have sent me the products three times! These people are terrible liars! They never provided me anything! Shame!

TopResume not the best resume service

I made a resume myself but it looked very poor. So I found TopResume website and decided to give it a try. I was having trouble getting interviews so I was in need of some advice. It took a week for them to complete my resume. When I received it I was shocked because the name and contact information was wrong! Not to mention that one of my past company's name was spelled wrong. The resume they made for me was horrible and it was hard to read. My resume was extremely long and contained three pages! Second and third pages were really unnecessary.

TopResume resume writing

This business will review your resume for free then tell you what's wrong with it and what they can do to improve it for you. If you continue to purchase their service they will take your current resume and copy-paste it into their own template which will include a bunch of skills unrelated to you, mis-spellings as if someone from outside the US is writing it, and they will refuse to refund you because of their "no refund policy." DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I have also contacted the BBB with a complaint and disputed the charge with my bank.

My experience with topresume.com company has done nothing but add additional stress. I was expecting a professionally written resume that would be 2x more interviews within 60 days, guaranteed. It's been more than 60 days and not only have you not delivered on not delivered on their promises but I still do not have working resume.

There is no personal interaction, the writers do not reach out in anyway but a cookie cutter copy and past format emails communication. The second writer asked for no additional information. There were grammatical errors, it was not proof read having duplicate dates for the same role, there were made up statements about my sales performance, the accounts I worked with were modified to only internet accounts, the formatting and headers don't work.

It would take me hours to go through and edit the revision to have remotely close to a working document. All you have done is complicate this process for.

I have no interest in working with your group further. I am not sure who you have writing for you but you need to step up your game.

They don't have "professional writers" - what a load of baloney. The only thing this company is dedicated to is taking your money and giving you a mediocre (at best) product that the high school kid down the street could have spliced together. Horrible service and hilarious how they always comment back about wanting to fix the situation but I bet 99.9% of the time the persons are still unsatisfied after they try to remedy whatever lack of service they provided.

TopResume horrible!

I decided to use Top Resume because I was getting no hits from the jobs I was applying to. My work experience was 25 years. Well, I started by completing their questioner. There were several questions about my experience and my background. I was expecting something from this site, but there was no help from them. Soon I got my resume. But it was horrible and looked like nobody even looked at my questioner. I gave them information about me, but the writer didn't use any of it. All he did was add a summary. I emailed the writer and he said that he will make another resume. Few days later I received another one. But it was the same as previous. He ignored everything I asked. All he did was add some false information and delete my last working place. I emailed him again, I got only a lame excuse and he also told me to make the changes myself. Don't spend your money on getting your resume redesigned. Do it yourself or use another site.

I placed my order on 3/31 and I didnt get my first draft until 4/15. They said it would be 1-2 days to get the second draft and I still have not received it. I have sent them messages almost every day this week and heard nothing back. It is almost a month since I ordered, this is not an acceptable timeline.

I relied on the representations made by "Katie" at Doostang d/b/a TopResume. I completed the survey requested and submitted two resumes for the resume writer's reference and use. What I received in response was a 1/2 page of nonsense that in no way qualified, by accepted standards for resume writing, as a "resume". This is a total rip off - buyer beware!!!
