Worst experience ever!
My 2018 Audi Q3 was brought to Audi repair shop at 1920 N Main st Gainesville, Fl 32609, on October 21st 2024. Audi sent over the claim to Total Warranty ON THE SAME DAY. The inspector did NOT COME UNTIL October 25th 2024 at 3pm. 4 WHOLE days I had to go without transportation as the rental would not be approved by Total Warranty until they ACTUALLY APPROVE the claim AFTER the inspector comes. The claim did NOT get authorized Until October 26th 2024. I was WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION FOR 5 DAYS! I was THEN told the Warranty ONLY covered $110 at $35 a day for ONLY 3 days. I can only afford to fork out another $534.81 with the $300 deposit required at enterprise rentals AND extra $100 “young renters fee”. Leaving me only able to get the rental for 2days. It is now November 1st and I am STILL WITHOUT transportation as my car is STILL NOT FIXED. So, after having to return the car to Enterprise on Monday the 28th, I had to go ANOTHER 4 DAYS stuck with no way to get around. I have already filled out the reimbursement form on October 28th. However, considering this HORRIBLE experience, I requested the FULL reimbursement amount and not just LITTLE $110 they claim that they can only cover. I still have not heard back after submitting this reimbursement form and I am still very PISSED! if I could give zero stars I would! Unfortunately, it wasn’t my choice that the car dealership I purchased my car from (Gary Yeomans) Automatically gave me this warranty plan but I WILL be looking for an alternative one!
Recommendation: Make sure you ask your dealer WHAT WARRANTY COMPANY YOU HAVE!
Stay away from this company!
They should receive zero stars! I'm sure most people who have this warranty company on their vehicle is because it was supposedly given "at no cost" as I'm sure someone with TWS will point out on this thread. Although I can pretty much guarantee the price for it is in the total vehicle cost somewhere. I recently had an internal crack in my transmission oil cooler. I was told I had to take it to a certified dealership in order for the warranty company to do anything. Mind you, the day before I had paid to have a diagnostics done on my car, I had it towed to a Dodge dealership for them to tell me it was a blown head gasket. Out of 4 mechanics Dodge is the only one that says its that instead of the transmission oil cooler. TWS for two weeks had me calling around getting all service records only to deny me because I did not have receipts for the oil changes done at home. I sent my bank records but they wont take those, I sent a Carfax but it has to be the paid version not the free one. They could have just said I needed those receipts from the beginning instead of wasting weeks. I know have no car and I owe a dealership a diagnostics fee that I just paid another service center for the day before. I was also just informed by the manager that only those of us with the "so called" free version of the warranty have to provide all of this. Ones that pay for their warranty themselves do not. Stay away from this company! All they will do is cost you money and deny your claims. They are a complete joke and could care less about anything other than themselves and their money.
Total Warranty Services - Total warranty scam
Even if you have every thing the warranty ask for they still will not pay, you will have to sue them to get them to pay. Do not fall for this scam. I purchased my 2016 Nissan Rogue from Naples Nissan on Pine Ridge Rd. in Naples Florida. They advertised that the vehicle came with a lifetime from Total Warrant Service. I trusted Naples Nissan to keep me...

I purchased a Vehicle Aug.28, 2023 Ive had vehicle in my possession for a week and half other than that its been in the shop. Last time it went which was about 2 months ago it was gonna need a new engine this company is denying my claim due to it apparently being pre existing. It was not pre existing when I purchased the used vehicle and buying a extended warranty was for cases like this and now they are denying my claim not once but twice. when everything passed inspections to show it was not a pre existing problem. was a total waste of money when purchasing my vehicle. I've now got a Lawyer involved just waiting for a response from them.

Update one prior review
Update on a prior review I wrote in july on our 2020 buick enclave with transmission problems…. Well here it is almost november still don’t have a car…after last review supervisor did get involved and things did go smoother…. Put in another used transmission which was bad also…. After that they approved to put the new one in…. Just so happens the one the dealership had when this whole mess started the one they recommended to them to install they used it…. Now they can’t get one because of strike…. Total warranty services think because they approved a new which I do appreciate them doing just wish they had decided to do it to begin with..,. They seem it’s no longer there problem…. Dealership says well it’s not our fault they should’ve fixed it right to start with….. One thing that is my fault I should’ve asked dealership where I bought the car to see the name of the warranty company and read the reviews…. This has been a lesson well learned…. One i’ll never forget…i’m going to flood social media about this experience to warn others…. No one has took in consideration that I bought a car because I had need of one…. Auto is the second largest purchase they are…. Still no consideration vacation that I had to cancel payments i’m making without a car…. Grandkids that live 4 hours away that you can’t visit…. My elderly siblings with health issues that live an hour away that I can’t go check on…. List goes on…. So glad i’m not some single parent with only one car that had to rely on to get me to work and everywhere else…said all of that to say this people are more than dollar signs…. If they can’t live up to making reliable repairs then don’t offer the services…. Help me to flood social media to make sure dealership don’t offer such unreliable services…. They are betting when repairs are needed you don’t have the paperwork or you didn’t do the recommended services when due…. It’s a number game in their favor…. So I guess i’ll continue my waiting game…. They did give me a one week car rental…. Wow…. Seems fair after i’ve been without a car for going on six months supervisor was staying in touch until my wife released her frustrations out which I think we have been really patient…. Now he has stopped returning calls….. I would highly recommend staying away as far as possible from this company…. Sorry for such a long review buts it’s been almost 6 months in the making
Recommendation: Stay away from this company
POWERTRAIN WARRANTY is a scam!
I live 65 miles from my dealer. They take care of items like tires, belts, hoses, etc. I do my own oil changes. I have race ramps and use Castrol oil and the best filters. I change all of my fluids on time. I bought my car new in 2015. I have a stack of receipts 6 inches thick of all the work I do on my car. My trans failed and so I brought it to the dealer before it died. This company denied my transmission because I did my own oil changes and they also stated I am missing one coolant change receipt. Total rip off. They are simply looking for a reason to deny. The DEALER told my they also denied a customer a new engine because they lacked one air filter receipt. Do not ever fall for this scam, as no one is perfect and you will lose a receipt or forget something. Even if I had all my receipts it would not matter as they stated you cannot do your own oil changes. What a crock. If I had known, I would not have kept all my receipts showing how much I took care of my car. It looks showroom new even under the hood. Garage kept, no pets, no children, non smoker. None of that matters to them.
Recommendation: Stay away even if your dealer offers it as a selling point. It is literally useless, and they will find a way to deny you.
Worst Customer service
I have never dealt with anything so shady in my life! You do all the leg work obtain and submit documents with no feedback or status. You call and find out they need more information so you do that. No call backs or emails. When you call to check on the status after they’ve finally received everything they say it’s gonna take two more weeks to review, it’s already been A MONTH! You also find out if they will honor the contract OR GIVE YOU A REFUND! The money you paid to have that sense of security and extra coverage. People they scam you! Don’t rely on these people for anything! Ask the dealership if they have another company for GAP. The accident I was in was traumatic enough but I find out they don’t have to pay off the remaining balance on my car if they don’t want to.
Recommendation: Do not do business with them period!
Fair and Compassionate
I recently contacted TWS to request a reimbursement for a covered car repair. Unknowingly, I was outside of the required time to make the request but was able to share the extenuating circumstances my family had been through to a higher-level manager. I am very grateful for the understanding and compassion shown to me and my family by that person. I did subtract a star for the interaction with the first-line supervisor who showed no understanding or compassion. She was cold and unmoved by all that I'd been through. As she spoke to me in a condescending tone, I remembered my years of management and customer service experience and was thankful that I'd had the opportunity to give others hope and a second chance. The shoe was on the other foot and I faced someone who thought themself to be a giant. Truly, I hope she never has to experience what my family has been through and needs the compassion of another. In short, her position was that the rules allowed her to deny my claim therefore she did because she could. Certainly, a reflection of inexperience and managerial immaturity. So thankful for the gentleman who listened and could see the entirety of the circumstances presented. Because of him, my overall experience was very good.
Recommendation: Be kind and timely in presenting your claim. Follow any guidance the TWS representative requests for the best outcome.
Never again.
Terrible company. They will go through every avenue to deny your claim, even so far as to state that the mechanic at the dealership is lying about the repair We spoke with several different reps and with a manager. A completely frustrating experience. They talk over you, refuse to address valid points, and never call back when they are “looking into” the claim.
Save your money. You’re going to need it to pay for your repair out of pocket.
Recommendation: Check reviews. Find a better company. I wish we had.

This GAP insurance is a scam
This GAP insurance is a scam. I have dealt with GAP insurance before and they paid the difference of what insurance didn't cover to the loan payoff amount. But this company is not honest! They come up with this restriction where they won't payoff the reminder left but only $500 as refund cancelling the GAP. I have read other people's reviews on this company and I am not the only one with the same problem, so steer away from this company. I will be going to dealer who offers this company to do something because it is not right. Why would I choose a GAP insurance that would not covered completely, it's insane. GXXXXXXX

They do not return messages, and inforce fine print that they do not discuss with you when the product is being sold
They do not return messages, and inforce fine print that they do not discuss with you when the product is being sold. They cover transmission but not the transmission fluid while transmission is being replaced, or the other necessary items for the transmission to be functional again. They say they cover rental, but you find out later that it is only a $30 a day, which does not cover half of a cost of a car rental. They say they will return your call, they don't for weeks. They delay the process as much as they can. They should not be in business of providing warranty! You either stand behind your product or don't sell it!

We purchased a 2014 ram 2500 4×4 tradesman package in November with 64,000 and some change on it
We purchased a 2014 ram 2500 4×4 tradesman package in November with 64,000 and some change on it. Two and a half weeks ago the transmission light comes on saying the trans temp is to high. I was driving on a curvy 2 lane rd with nowhere to pull over so I slowed to around 25 mph and pulled over in about half a mile. Had the truck towed to 2 different places, the second one being a local Dodge dealership. I was told the transmission would need to be replaced. Today I was told my claim had been denied due to abise and neglect because I continued to drive approximately a half mile so I could pull out of the road. So buying a warrenty through this company seems to be a wasate of money.

I purchased a car maintenance service through TWS when I purchased a vehicle in September
I purchased a car maintenance service through TWS when I purchased a vehicle in September . I was assured that any dealership would honor the agreement. When I went to get my first oil change, the service department would only honor it after they called the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. The next two attempts to get my oil changed, the service department would simply not honor the warranty. I worked with the dealership where I purchased the car to cancel the contract. I paid $1,500 for it. TWS paid $20 for the one service that was honored and they took $1,384.99 off the principal. Basically, they kept $100 of my money. I lost money and spent countless frustrated hours dealing with this issue. I would not recommend TWS.

Do not purchase an extended a warranty from this company
Do not purchase an extended a warranty from this company. They are the worst warranty company I have ever dealt with. This is the second time I have had to file a claim with them and both times have they been an absolute nightmare to deal with. The first claim took three weeks to get my car repaired because TWS took twelve days to approve the repair before the dealership could even order the parts to start the repair. This time, the dealership has the parts that need the repair off of the vehicle and TWS halted the repairs so they could send an inspector out to verify the damage when all that needed to be done was to have a picture of the damaged part sent to them. This could have been done already if the representative from TWS would have asked a few questions to the service manager when they spoke with the dealership. I will never purchase another warranty from this company again and I highly recommend nobody ever does.

I was in a very tragic auto accident on January 30th, my insurance company upon receiving the final documents to process my claim for my GAP
I was in a very tragic auto accident on January 30th, my insurance company upon receiving the final documents to process my claim for my GAP insurance in April forwarded all info to this company that was requested. Not until my loan company showed a late payment and added fees in MAY did I reach out for the second time to this company to see what was going on, at that time I was told that thee were no records to indicate that my insurance company or myself had ever contacted them. Which was false, and proof of this communication was forwarded to this company on May 22nd, along with all records needed FOR THE SECOND TIME. I have urged them to expedite this as the delay was caused by there own incompetence and have yet to receive a response from anyone regarding the resolution of the matter. I have now paid my car payment for three months with NO CAR and will likely pay it again for the fourth month all due to the incompetence and negligence of this company.

Please DO NOT purchase an extended warranty from a dealership if it is with TWS/First Mile etc
Please DO NOT purchase an extended warranty from a dealership if it is with TWS/First Mile etc. I honestly believe I have a Warranty fraud case and will have to pursue that with an attorney but please seek out a different company. When I purchased my vehicle I was told that this was a good company and that they would cover my car no problem. Car has 16K miles on it and needed to have a flywheel replaced. Well great cuz I though I had a warranty but turns out they said after inspecting that they would not be able to warranty my car at all and that the dealership I purchased it from should have known better and I would be a refund in full that would go to my loan provider. OK, fine, so I go to dealership and cancel, they were allready aware and had talked to TWS. but HERE WE ARE, 2 months and NO REFUND and when I call they have no idea what I'm talking about... What a scam! It was $3,049.00 that I paid for this fake Warranty. I have obtained legal help and will file a lawsuit but please be warned. I should have know better and now you will too!

Have not received reimbursement check after six weeks
Have not received reimbursement check after six weeks. In email correspondence with TWS, Support says two different checks have been mailed. On July 8, after speaking with someone from TWS on the phone, I submitted my request for reimbursement of my Service Contract as per the contract. I was told that I had supplied the correct information and a check would be mailed. I inquired again via email, and I was told that a stop payment was being put on the original check, and a second check would be issued. I have inquired again and have not received a reply. After six weeks of waiting, I have not received a check.

Purchased First Mile Service Contract for a 2018 C-Class Mercedes-Benz -Purchased in September -Paid $1844 -Platinum Protection, and a full prorated refund when/if cancelled -Did not receive even close to a refund. What was due is as follows, If the service contract is $1,844 and I paid $51.22 per month, this means I paid a total of $256.11 and by the time it was cancelled (5 months lapsed) it should have been a $1,587.89 refund. -I'm not getting any responses from selling dealer (Audi of Melbourne) or TWS -Happy to provide details into the account. I purchased the warranty on my vehicle
I purchased the warranty on my vehicle. My rear end and axle went out in November . The dealership worked with the warranty company and repaired/fixed the part. I picked the vehicle up in Georgia and drove to Indiana. After a few days I noticed grease on the rim. Contacted the dealership in Georgia and they said to take to and dodge dealership. I took it to the dealership in Bloomington Indiana less than 30 miles from my house. The vehicle had less than a thousand miles on it from the repair time to it failing again. The warranty company is claiming that it is the customers fault that it failed with less than 1000 miles. I called and they refused to re-evaluate. They are not standing behind their warranty work. They sure are taking the money though.

In 2018, I purchased a brand new truck. The dealership sold me a warranty through Total Warranty Services. I paid on it every month. I took my truck into the dealership on 11/8 to have a vibration looked at. They told me they thought it was the torque converter. The dealer contacted Total Warranty Services. Total approved the claim. I picked up the truck and I got on the highway and it was still vibrating. I took it back and they told me it might be the transmission. They contacted Total again and they denied the claim. They said I breached the contract. I have most of my work done at Green Toyota.
The employee that I spoke to was rude as well as the supervisor
The employee that I spoke to was rude as well as the supervisor. Had issues with my vehicle and had i sent to repair shop. I was not aware that I had a warranty due to the dealership stating that I did not have one, the one I acquired was expired. I did authorized the service on my vehicles engine after. Shorty after paying for the repair, the dealership contacted me and informed me that I did in fact have a warranty. I contacted TWS and put in the claim for the repairs. After a few weeks I was contacted and told the claim would be denied due to my continuing to operate after mechanical error, which in return was false, as well as me starting the repair before contacting TWS. I then contacted the supervisor to get more information and he proceeded to tell me that they couldn't provide me any information.

My 2014 ford focus was having some sounds that sounded like something dragging under the car
My 2014 ford focus was having some sounds that sounded like something dragging under the car. I took it to the dealership close to me and found that it's my transmission that went out. I waited and been in contact with the dealership about anyway it could be fixed without me spending a dime on it but sadly there wasn't a way until I remembered that I had warranty from this company. I contacted the company with the dealership and was told that I need to provide documentation for any work that was done on the car. I forwarded the information I had even a copy of the carfax report but they are trying to claim its still not enough. I have been trying to fight with them to get this resolved but they are not being helpful in any way at all especially when the car has been stuck in the shop for almost two weeks now.

Refinanced the car the gap is non transferable I need to recieve a refund for unused portion. Yes I contact the administrator total warranty services to start the cancelation process for My gap insurance GXXXXXXX . I was then told to contact the dealer I purchased it from to start that process. However this directly contradicts the contract language to contact them in writing to received a refund. but yet they do not publish there address in the agreement. I just would like this refunded.
Would not replace a part because all service records not available. The part to be replaced is NOT serviceable! 2017 Mazda 3 motor mount. 1/22 Sport Mazda Platinum warranty. First claim
Fixing transmission I talked to my leasing company and was told I needed 6 months back on maintenance for my car. I got the paperwork and took it to the garage where my car was. Total warranty is the warranty company that is supposed to fix my car. My claim was denied because they refuse to accept the fact that my husband and father does most of my maintenance. My father is a retired mechanic and I honestly don't trust anyone else to work on my vehicle. So know I'm stuck with a vehicle with a bad transmission that I have to pay for
I purchased a new vehicle back in February
I purchased a new vehicle back in February . The dealership sold me GAP coverage via TWS. In July I was in a horrible car accident ending in my brand new vehicle being totaled. I was under the impression that GAP does exactly what it stands for and would pay the difference between what my insurance paid out at fair market value and the remaining balance on the loan. I supplied TWS with all the necessary documents and waited. I had to contact them multiple times inquiring about my claim status. At this point, I have been without a vehicle for two months. I received an email notification (09/08) stating they would only be paying $2,957.95 of the $6,329.47 that remained open with my lender. What an absolute joke that is. How do you sell a product to customers giving them the impression they are 100% covered then come up with some ridiculous calculation based on "Less Amount in Excess of 120% MSRP/NADA limit." BUYER BEWARE! This company is a SCAM.

I was sold a GAP policy through Nissan Coconut Creek on my 2015 Infiniti Q50
I was sold a GAP policy through Nissan Coconut Creek on my 2015 Infiniti Q50. The sales pitch was that this policy would cover the loan balance in the event of a total loss. I provided all the documents to TWS and kept my account current with Infiniti Financial Services. My net payoff is less than the value of the car TWS received from NADA and they are using that as the excuse to not pay the difference on my loan. All because they over valued my car. I want my balance paid because that is the service I paid for. Almost $4,000 - which I had to pay out of pocket for a car totaled back in April. I feel like I have been scammed into paying for a service I never used and was suppose to pay a specific purpose. If they are refusing my claim, they need to give me back the full amount of my policy because Its unfair that I paid for a service I did not receive. I WANT THE NADA VALUATION SENT TO ME. How is a 2015 car going to be valued higher than what my payoff amount it?

08/08, I purchased a CPO 2018 Mazda 3 from Southern Palms Mazda, I bought the extended warranty. One year later, my battery died, only 1 year off the lot. 09/27, I called 1-800-Mazda, they told me to contact dealer (South Palms Mazda), so I did, and the lady on the phone (Customer Relations Manager Emily Budd) told me to contact "Total Warranty Services" which is, what I learned, the 3rd party company I seemingly bought my warranty from. I called the 1-800 number provided (their only number) and it was not working, I tried several times however I was greeted with an automated message about how they were having technical difficulties, so i contacted them the only other way provided, via their email form on their website, I marked the message "URGENT" as my car was dead. It's been 11 days, still no response. Contacted Mazda dealer to cancel, seeing as they were not available, it seems like a clear cut scam. I want a FULL refund, and my complaint against "TWS" to be filed.

On August 2, 2022, a claim for transmission repairs for my 2017 Mazda6 was filed,
On August 2, 2022, a claim for transmission repairs for my 2017 Mazda6 vehicle, under agreement # LL194300 with the Powertrain Warranty, was submitted. That same day, the warranty service requested additional information, which both the repair service and I provided. By August 3, 2022, the claim was denied on the grounds of not meeting the contract requirements. Following the denial, on August 4, 2022, I sent an email to the warranty service appealing the decision and requesting a higher-level review, but I have yet to receive a response. The warranty service should possess all submitted documentation, including records of eight oil changes among other pertinent documents. I am including an email from the repair service and the email I sent to the warranty service for their review and reconsideration. It is worth noting that on January 5, 2022, a repair was approved under the same warranty. Should you require further information, please contact me.

1/25...bought 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. Dealership provided Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty. It covers "Powertrain" components. 7/16...van towed to a transmission shop. Shop calls warranty company. They want maintenance records. I fax 30 pages...work done by ASE certified mechanics w/ multi-point inspections. Warranty company tells shop they still need 4 records. Won't proceed w/o all. I call warranty company. They admit the 4 requested records are not Powertrain pertinent but if I can produce 2 of 4, they will look at claim. The 4 are: 2 air filter changes, 1 coolant flush, 1 spark plug replacement. My fax included 1 air filter change & records of regular air filter inspections done and shown okay. They admit overlooked air filter change but still want all records. Shop (ASE cert) says all four requests are unrelated to the codes that are showing up as problems. Also, says that coolant flush/ spark plugs are things no one should/would do unless codes indicate a need.

Complaint Details "I recently traded the lease in about a year earlier than the end date. 11 months prior I had purchased an extended warranty from *** serviced through service payment plan inc. at time of purchase I was told that it is refundable if I did not make any use of which I didn't. I paid TWS 2,088.10 before trading my vehicle and canceling the plan and only drove XXXXX on the contract without utilizing it at all and I'm only supposed to get 663

I was the owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was totaled after being hit by a semi driver
I was the owner of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was totaled after being hit by a semi driver. After filing the claim with the insurance I contact Total Warranty Services as my GAP coverage insurer for reimbursement. Ultimately there was almost a 6k difference between the insurance payout and the remaining balance on the loan. After being told numerous times by multiple different car salesman, as well as generally accepted knowledge that GAP pays the difference - this was NOT the case. The rep I spoke to numerous times completely blamed the insurance and thus was useless. At the end of the day the purpose of this insurance is to pay a difference, and it failed. The payout from the insurance and value estimation was 28k ACV, the cost of the loan remaining was 34k. However, since the estimation for the car by TWS was 33k they only paid 1k using *** This is ridiculous, and should be more clearly stated and those who are selling the insurance shouldnt blindly state that it "pays the difference". I would never purchase or insure a vehicle with a "maybe".

Didn't cover our gap after accident we were not at fault for
Didn't cover our gap after accident we were not at fault for. Repo on my credit while I was deployed after submitting all the info I was asked for. My family and I were rear ended in an accident and our car was totaled back in 2017 on the military post I was then stationed at. Since we were not at fault the other drivers insurance paid off the value of the car and our gap insurance with Total Warranty Services was supposed to cover the rest. We had been paying for our gap insurance and submitted everything they asked for in order to take care of it. While I was deployed over seas I found out it hadn't been taken care of. My wife then tried to handle everything as I could not call or have access to internet while deployed and she was told they would not speak to her since she was not on the title of the car. She then got everything they were then asking for and mailed it all in and we were told that would be everything to have it taken care of and we wouldn't need to do anything further. Now years later we are trying to buy our first family home and I find out I have repossession on my credit for this car. How is this possible when I have done everything I was asked to do and paid for this service. I am extremely upset that my family and my credit is suffering for something that was completely out of my hands.

TWS is refusing to honor the warranty they sold me
TWS is refusing to honor the warranty they sold me. The problem should be completely covered as it is booster/ drivetrain issue. On Monday January 11th I took my Ford F-150 into Ford Lincoln of Franklin because there was a check engine light on. The dealer explained to me that there was an issue with my booster which caused an issue with my drivetrain. I have a 100,000 mile warranty on the drivetrain through Total Warranty Services. When the dealer contacted TWS they told him they would not cover the repair due to three missing oil changes and an air filter change. The total number of oil changes required during my ownership of the truck is 11. Unfortunately, I was only able to locate eight of them given it has been six years and one of the places that did an oil change for me does not have records back that far. The biggest issue with the refusal is that they are trying to hide behind maintenance of the vehicle to refuse the repair. I have spoken to four different mechanics that have all said the same thing, "Basic maintenance has nothing to do with what is wrong with your truck. The oil could have been changed every 3,000 miles and this issue would have still happened." It is very disappointing that a company would try and get out of standing by the warranty they sell and not respond to my continued calls and emails.

This company will not repair my transmission
This company will not repair my transmission. My ford has 70,000 miles on in and my transmission is going out. This company is requiring all service records which I have given them. They say I am missing two oil changes in the first XXXXX miles. I have given them 9 oil changes, which is 6 more than they require. those records don't have the mileage but do have the date on them and my car. They are refusing to repair my transmission because of this loophole. They also State they are not going to cover because I did not have an air filter put in my car which has nothing to do with a transmission. Again, another loophole. I followed my owners manual as suggested by this company (actually did more). In my owners manual it has a spot where you can keep up with your service records. Nowhere in my owners manual does it have a spot to put the mileage for those service records. So, this company is not following the owners manual suggestions. Actually, on page 319 it states my "vehicle has an oil minder system that indicates when the oil needs to be changed which means you don't have to remember to change the oil on a mile based schedule the vehicle lets you know when to change your oil" so, even the Ford Motor Company states in the owner's manual that I do not have to keep up with my mileage. If you are reading this I am sure you are having the same issue. I want you to know that you can cancel your extended warranty with this company. They will find loopholes to not pay for your claims.

Total Warranty Services did not cover their auto warranty
Total Warranty Services did not cover their auto warranty. I purchased this rebuilt/reconstructed 2016 F-150 Lariat from AutoSource on 26OCT2018 for XXXXX.00, as well as purchased their platinum warranty plan for an additional cost of $2,870.00 for 72month, or 85,000 miles. I was told this truck had been fully inspected by their team. On 23JUL2020, I noticed the truck was leaking fluid from the rear axle differential. I contacted AutoSource and was told to bring the vehicle to any authorized repair facility. I brought my truck to Larry H. Miller Chryster, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Repair Facility, on 23JUL2020 to have them diagnose the issue, and it was found the rear differential housing and axle housing had been welded together, causing the axle housing to fail, and crack at this welded section. Technicians also found the rear leaf spring was bent, and the frame had been poorly welded at multiple sections. The technician from Larry H. Miller Repair Facility contacted the warranty company (Total Warranty Services), because the warranty contract shows it will cover the axle/differential housing, and the leafsprings. The claim was denied due to this being a pre-existing repair caused by the re-builder who rebuilt this 2016 F-150. I called the warranty company myself, and spoke to Zachariah Baringer, and was told this was denied because of a pre-existing condition. I said the contract does not state it will not cover items because of a pre-existing condition. He then put me on hold while he searched through the contract trying to find a section that would allow them to not pay. He found a section in the contract for "For a breakdown caused by, or involving modifications unless those modifications were performed by the manufacturer and the modifications meet the manufacturers specifications." This axle was welded before purchasing this vehicle, and before the warranty contract was established. During the time I owned the vehicle, there was not modifications done that caused this breakdown. Total Warranty Services had to read all the fine print themselves just to find a way for them to get out of covering the cost of repairs. This repair should have been covered by Total Warranty Services as this breakdown happened during my ownership of the vehicle and during the valid contract dates, and mileage. I have only owned the truck for 21 months, and have put 19,078 miles on the vehicle. My contract showed to 72 months, and 85,000 miles.

Failure to cover electrical issue with my vehicle
Failure to cover electrical issue with my vehicle. Since March , my car has been unable to start on 3 different occasions. Initially, we charged the battery with no success so we purchased a new battery at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The car still wouldn't start with a new battery. We had the car (2016 GMC Acadia with less than 40k miles) towed to the dealership. They believed the connection to the battery was causing the issue so they fixed the connections, got the car running, and returned it to me. A few weeks later, the car wouldn't start again. It had to be towed back to the dealership. The dealer believed the problem was with the battery so they installed a new battery, got the car running, and sent me on my way. On Saturday, June 27, the car again wouldn't start. I had it towed back to the deal on Monday, June 29. The dealer believes there is an issue with a cable connecting to the battery that may have been faulty for the past 4 months. We did not file any claims with Total Warranty on the previous situations because we thought the issue was with the battery which I know is not covered. My dealer submitted the claim for ~$682 and it was denied. I called to find out why it was denied and I was told the problem with the cable was caused by corrosion. My dealer never said it was caused by corrosion but the customer service rep assumed that was the case. My dealer called the warranty company back and clarified that there is no corrosion. The warranty company then said they denied the claim because the bent cable wasn't caused by a mechanical issue. I have been having an electrical issue with my car since March so regardless of what is going on now, there is an electrical issue that should be covered by my warranty. Note also that the customer service experience was terrible. I asked to speak with a manager on Thursday, July 2 after escalating their denial position through the customer service rep. I was told that Stefan would contact me that day. He did not call Thursday or Friday. I called the warranty company back on Monday and asked for Stefan. Again, I was told he was busy and would get back to me. On Tuesday, July 7, I called again and asked for Stefan. I was transferred to Bob C (Claims Supervisor) for a discussion. Once again, Bob reiterated that they do not believe there is a mechanical issue and the claim would not be paid. I communicated to him that there has been an electrical problem with the car for 4 months and in retrospect, all of the trips to the dealer should have been submitted to Total Warranty and covered by them. I paid a lot of money for this warranty and was promised that it would cover all electrical issues. I have been without a car since Monday, June 29 and had to wait 6 days to get in touch with a supervisor at Total Warranty. I am extremely frustrated with this company's lack of accountability, sub-par customer service, and total disregard for the warranty.
