Amazon using false claims to sell totally useless TrackR Bravo
I just submitted the following review to Amazon for the TrackR Bravo I purchased 4 days ago that was SOLD by Amazon. It is 100% truthful, but I'll be surprised if they "approve" it, so I'm repeating it here (condensed):
"Someone" should be sued - I have never seen such a blatant case of false claims and outright lies to sell a product that has been 100% useless for at least 8 months. Proof of this is the notice on the manufacturer's website (thetrackr.com): "We regret to inform you that TrackR will no longer be supported on Apple or Android devices after August 15, 2021." This can only mean "no apps" (and both are gone). And since the "Control Method" is "App", no app = no control = useless device. I even showed Amazon the courtesy of contacting customer support several weeks ago to make sure they knew that what they were selling was a scam. But nothing has changed, so obviouly, they either didn't believe me and couldn't be bothered to check the manufacturer's website, or they just don't care. (Inexplicably, some of the other trackr sellers immediately deleted the "iOS/Android compatible" claim.) I bought 8 of these from the manufacturer in 2016, but a few days ago I also bought one from this webpage, SOLD BY AMAZON, just to make sure I could post this review. Of course, I'm going to return it for a refund, with the same DEAD "battery included".
Desired outcome: Stop selling this product, refund every purchase made after August 15 2021, and apologize. And start acting like the Amazon I used to love and respect.

I put in new battery but hours later it's disconnected again. It's always disconnected when I need it. I bought 10 of these things on ebay and out of 10, 10 do the exact same thing. I can't be constantly looking at my phone to see if it's connected. All I know is it's never connected when I need it. This product is crap and I resent that big companies are allowed to get away with taking the public's money for a crap product.

I totally agree with your resentment of big companies that sell crap, and in this case, it gets even worse. The company salling it is bigger than big, and the product's usefulness became less than crap. Read my review of TrackR.
customer service
Sent an email asking to be sent 6 new batteries because they are supposed to be free. The customer service rep was very rude, speaking to me as if I was incompetant of understanding what he was saying, even asking me if someone took care of me. Then when I couldn't get a word, I said "Hey". He proceeds to say "Don't you "hey" me you [censored]ing [censored]!" Then proceeded to keep calling me after I hung up on him, after 6 calls I blocked the number. He also tried to charge $68 dollars for batteries that are supposed to be free. Never doing business with this company again.

Ordered 3 new TrackRs directly from the company site. 2 out of the 3 came with dead batteries. App offered a "free" battery replacement that actually costs money bc of shipping/processing fees. Emailed TrackR Support and was told new batteries would be sent to me in 3-5 days. That was over a month ago. I've tried emailing several times since to follow up on the batteries and have gotten no responses. I was previously a Tile user for many years and after this terrible experience am considering switching back.
don't fall for their promises
False advertise says it's a great thing every person needs.
But it works like a piece of crap and you will only lose your money.
It will stop working once you leave the room. Stop believing in miracles. This company is not serious.
I tried to use it in different places according to simple instructions and wasn't surprised when I didn't find my car that was near my house. Same happened to other things I tried it on.
Useless thing. Don't be fooled by ads.

I didn't get the app on time
My deal with the company www.thetrackr.com is terrible. I have contacted them and ordered the app. But I have done it 8 weeks ago. I checked the status and it showed that it was still in process of developing. It took too much time, so I have decided that this company has scammed me. I don’t think that they are professionals and can provide services and products on time.

I have lost their coin device
People, don’t believe to the company Trackr Bravo. I have also used their coin device and one day I have lost it. It was terrible, because I only got it and lost on the third day. It was terrible and I tried to contact the customer services, but no one took the phone, when I have called. Hasanyone had the same situation? I need this coin device again, but I don’t know how to reach this company.
I think that my order hasn't been sent
I ordered TrackR from www.thetrackr.com. I didn’t get the confirmation from the seller. I waited 3 days, but the seller hasn’t provided the email or message. I checked the website, but there was mentioned that the seller could not send the confirmation. But I emailed the seller, and he didn’t react to my emails as well. I’m not sure that my order has been sent at all. Any ideas what to do now.
I can't get refund, because the seller doesn't want to return my money back
I ordered TrackR from www.thetrackr.com. I didn’t get the confirmation email, but it was strange. The seller didn’t communicate with me, but I have sent tons of emails. Later, I have found form, which I could fill if I wanted money back. I filled it, but after couple of days I understood that the company wouldn’t return money back. I was so upset and therefore I decided to warn other people. Don’t deal with them.
I ordered from this company in June 2015. No merchandise 30 days later. I contacted their "customer support" email and only received an auto response that the company would respond... 3 times! Nothing. I contacted AMEX which was the account that I used to charge and they immediately reversed the amount no questions! THEN... 2 days later, received an email from a rep stating they would be shipping the order and an appology for lack of communication. Hmmmmm... is that what it took? This is a scam. There is no phone number to contact the company and the two listings I did find, in Santa Barbara are both disconnect.
they took money for the software, but I got completely nothing from them
I paid money for the app, which I found on the website www.thetrackr.com. It was real scam. I paid money and waited for the further instructions from the seller. But this jerk provided only useless promises and blah-blah. After a week I still haven’t received anything from these scammers, as well as our communication suddenly stopped at all. Please, share your views about this company.
I purchased purchased batteries and never got them yet and the batteries came dead inside when I purchased it I need my batteries it's been 3 weeks now and no batteries. Hopeless product, doesn't work. No phone support. Chat doesn't work. No email response. Battery replacement still waiting after 2 months. A disaster of a product.
i also paid and it has been 30 days no product no date of when I may get one. I have asked for a refund twice now and cannot get a response from them.
