On june 16, 2023, i made a reservation with this company for the Travel Lodge in Shreveport, LA. The hotel had no electricity due to a city wide power outage. I called in 2 or 3 hours later to cancel the reservation and drove 90 miles to get a room that had power. This company said they won't give me a refund because of a cancelation policy. I was not made aware of one. I never received anything or signed anything about one. I have been trying all this time to get my refund. They booked me into a hotel without any power, and now they want to keep my money. I have filed a dispute with Paypal and Synchrony Bank, but the booking agency refuses my refund because they say I didn't adhere to a cancellation policy which i know nothing about. I am politely asking them to refund my money. I thought I was talking to the hotel, not a booking agency. I never would have made a reservation though a booking agency. The hotel manager authorized them to refund it. It was wrong to book me into a hotel with no power and refuse my refund. Please resolve this complaint in my favor as I need it, and they have no cause to hold it. I'm not sure this is a legitimate company as the reviews are bad. Sincerely, Norma Myers
