Travelers Insurance review: Home insurance

My wife and I came home from work one day and our ceiling in our stairwell to the basement had collapsed completely, inside cracks were everywhere in the ceiling. I called Travelers right away and got an agent by the name of Bobby (Kansas City Agent) who was rude from the start. Before our conversation barley started, he declined any coverage for my family and I to stay and suggested we sleep at my office.. He said I can schedule to come out in a month.. He gave me a list of contractors to call in the meantime. I called a contractor that said we need a new roof and we have almost zero ventilation causing and a damp roof and humidity and hale damage that is bad already. In this time period my wife has got very sick and has an infection on her face that has got to the point where she can not go out in public. The doctors think it is cancer (we are on our 3rd biopsy). He finally came over, and said I still don't see what we can do and I'll talk to management about maybe getting an engineer out here to see about the house settling.. THIS MAN HAS LITERALLY QUITE POSSIBLY GIVEN MY WIFE CANCER OR LET IT GET WORSE OVER A MONTH.

I feel helpless and like I can't protect my own family. I can't afford to buy a new roof in this market. I have never felt so disrespected and played. Like he walked out chuckling saying "hang in there brother". Luckily, my wife's mom is a fantastic lawyer and we have cameras that match my notes. Coverage is suppose to make you feel safe if something goes wrong.. They have only caused issues and possibly gave my wife cancer as a result of negligence.
