Booked flights in July 2022 for flights mid November 2022. Airline changed return 3 hour flight to a 22 hour flight which I could not accept due to work. Travelgenio failed to cancel that flight and instead moved it a day later. When I arrived at the airport for my outbound flight they had cancelled that flight and left me stranded. Both airlines have confirmed travelgenio has been refunded. Travelgenio advises they have refunded me ONE of my flights but the money is not in my account and I have spoken to my bank on more than one occasion who have confirmed they do not have the funds. My emails are now not being responded to by Travelgenio and when I try create a ticket I am told my previous ticket is still open and I must wait to be contacted.

At the peak of the pandemic (in Dec 2021), I instructed Travelgenio to make a change of my outbound flight by paying the required fees. However, they did not make the correct change of the outbound flight by not cancelling the initial flight so that new date is set. This has resulted in a Now-Show when approaching the check-in on the new date. This has resulted in a cancellation of my whole ticket of a cost of about 600 Euros. They offered me a refund of only 145 Euros for the airport services.

Emirates have backed my claim asking me to approach Travelgenio who do not want to refund. Travelgenio are asking me to contact Emirates for the refund. It is the responsibility of Tarvelgenio as I have made the reservation and paid for the tickets through Travelgenio (not wioth Emirates)

Attached is the email from Emirates showing that Travelgenio did not cancel my previous booking when changing the new flight.

This happened at the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The cancellation of the ticket has costed me the purchase of a ticket of a value of more than 600 Euros.

Cause of this wrong email I can’t access my trip and didn’t receive my E-Ticket.

My flights were cancelled due to a recent Kenyan Airway protest. The news were everywhere and the concern was that one will be stuck in Burundi from South Africa since it was a round trip. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip with the airline. When I tried to claim my money with the agency (Travelgino) they send me e-mails saying I will have to wait 12-14 weeks. Reading some of the reviews, people are complaining of the same thing, 6-12 months later still, they haven’t received their money. Can someone please advice as I need my full refund now, how do one go about that.

So I wrote the my complaint that I want to refund my reservation at that link.

However, no additional information has come yet. I want a refund right now.

I have the right to get a refund because I haven't received the e-ticket I reserved yet.

The refund process is dead in this company after canceling the ticket need to wait for a quarter of a year then also My tips status shows only Refund is processing. Duration committed for the refund is 12 to 14 weeks. I did not receive the refund even after the duration completed. Once I call to the customer service it takes holding the call more than 15 minutes.

And the cancelation they deduct more than 27 $.

This is my worst experience from this online booking.

i keep email trevelgenio and they even dont reply or reply with same msg that refund in way as if they dont read complaint

I ordered a ticket from Nigeria to Norway for my girlfriend back in June. Since her visa application was still in limbo at the time, I paid for an extra insurance that would allow me to cancel my trip and get a refund as long as I cancelled 48 hours or more until take-off.

Her visa was sadly denied, and I cancelled the ticket well within the time. Since early July my refund claim has been "ongoing" on their website, and I have not managed to get in touch with anyone from the company. No phone numbers or email anywhere.

It is now November, and nothing has changed. Unless I get my refund soon I have no other option than to take legal action.

I bought a plane ticket + extra, enhanced refundable terms' I had to cancel my flight. I received the cancellation confirmation and refund notification from the official airline, but my flight schedule is still active on the travelogino site. After several calls and attempts to write them an email, the result is still negative. The airline refund the money which I paid, but travelogino does not give me a refund. What should I do?

I booked a return flight Paris-Mexico (via Dallas) and Mexico-Paris (via Miami and London) but the Miami-London flight (6 November, 00h05, BA1500) no longer appears, so I'd be stranded in Miami and unable to take the final London-Paris flight. I have therefore just paid 1200 euros for an alternative flight. Apart from an email about a "change" to my flight plan, there has been no warning that the flight has been cancelled and no alternative flight offered. How do I get a refund for the return flight? And how do I make a complaint and seek compensation for the additional flight I've had to purchase at short notice?

I've sent an e-mail to require an invoice for my flight 19/10/2022 Barcelona-HongKong (BOOKING REFERENCE IS: [protected]), but after the custom service asked for my name and address at 31/10/2022, they disappeared for a long time. Le 16/02/2020 nous avons acheté un billet d'avion pour l'Algerie. Départ prévu le 15/07/2020 le 14/07/2020 le vol est annulé en raison de restrictions sanitaires et de la fermeture des frontières.

Depuis ce jour j''essaie d'obtenir le remboursement du billet annulé indépendamment de notre volonté mais cela sans succés !

We have be trying to cancel our booking last night, 2 Nov 2022, and the phone number provided in our confirmation email is “invalid”. We cannot reach anyone via your website or email. Your company is clearly a scam. If you are actually a legit travel company, it is imperative that you reach out to us. We need our refund ASAP. We have already contacted our credit card company who are conducting their own investigation.

TravelGenio is a SCAM company. Do not book with them. BE WARNED.

We booked roundtrip flights from NYC to Dubai for a date in September 2022 and paid in full upon reserving the tickets. Unfortunately, we had to request a date change for our trip that was postponed. TravelGenio assured us that we could just pay an extra "small fee" to make it an "open ticket" so that we can change to the new dates once we selected them. They assured us by booking the open ticket that we would have no issues when we would book the new dates and would not incur any additional fees. LIES! When we tried to schedule the new dates, we were told by TravelGenio that we would have to pay an additional $798 Euros each to have the new flights (this is what we each paid for the original fights we booked, not including the extra fee we paid to make it an "open ticket" to avoid this type of nonsense!)

Every time I called to speak to a representative, I was left on hold waiting for 1 hour. Finally when someone would answer, they could never help and they would refuse to allow me to speak to a manager who could help me answer the questions they were unable to answer (they would say "We cannot transfer you to a manager they do not accept calls"... WHAT kind of customer service is that?!) I was hung up on by one of the rude representatives after I waited for 1 hour to speak with someone. The "managers" only communicate with you via email, and of course never provide a solution either.

Very unsatisfactory experience. Would NEVER use this company again, and I will NEVER recommend it to others. I will report this company everywhere and file a complaint against this company and its terrible scamming "business practices". In fact, I will be sure to inform others of the SCAM you are running every opportunity I have publicly to do so in order to help save some other innocent traveler from the same experience. I wish I had been warned before spending almost $2,000 here!
