I want to start by saying that I have stayed in this hotel on numerous previous occasions without any issues.
Saying this, I stayed in the Fort Dunlop Travelodge for 2 nights on the 16th and 17th October. I was charged £76.99 for the first night and £219.99 for the second night
All previous and future rates (as shown in your website) do not come even close to this price; see below:
6/7 November - £150.98
13/14 November - £129.98
20/21 November £124.98
27/28 November - £132.98
4/5 December - £122.98
11/12 December - £115.98
18/19 December - £67.98
For a price of £220 – without breakfast, dinner or WiFi I would expect a much higher rated hotel, for example The Grand, the Regency and the Radisson are all much cheaper than this price.
The food was so poor and took so long I couldn’t even eat it.
The room I was given was a family room containing so many beds that there wasn't sufficient room to work in.
I can guarantee that I will never stay at another Travel Lodge, I have previously stayed in the IHG chain of hotels and will revert to this.
Claimed loss: Looking at the previous and future prices I would expect to pay no more than £120 - £150 and hence a refund of between £70 - £100
