Yet they feel the need to send me unsolicited mail to my home address after scrounging around the databases of public records. I shall not recommend nor support any business who trolls me off the internet databases for business.K

They sent out mails, claiming that the "property's home warranty" has expired. They also include the lender information, making it look legit. They request you to "Call IMMEDIATELY as this may be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU". "PLEASE RESPOND BY xxx". I'm fed up with these scammers. Be alerted, and for anyone who would consider their business, even if you didn't get their scamming mails, you would know how trustworthy they are.

I have an older Home and I've had a lot of expensive repairs done on my A/C, fridge, and oven. I've also had a couple of electrical repairs that set me back a few hundred each time. I have a *** who recommended Tribus because he has them and has had two repairs that they handled for him. He only had to pay a *** service fee on a repair that was over a thousand dollars the first time, and the second time for a repair over eight hundred dollars. My Home coverage is now set up and I'm secure knowing that I'll be taken care of next time I have a problem. I added the riders that protect my appliances so thankfully my policy will cover these repairs if anything happens.It's a good feeling to know I'm covered in an emergency.

Received an alarmed, generic letter in the mail informing me that "the properties home warranty
Received an alarmed, generic letter in the mail informing me that "the properties home warranty... may be expiring or may have already expired... Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us to get your home warranty up to date... Please call IMMEDIATELY as this may be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU" (capitalized emphasis theirs).The letter appears to me to be scam-like predatory behavior that relies on the recipient being uninformed and scared by the wording of the letter. The letter seems to imply that the reader may already have information or even a policy with Tribus by providing a "Customer ID", and through wordsmithing that suggests they already have a home warranty without explicitly stating that they do. As if someone from legal already thought of this, they have in fine print at the bottom: "Not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder".To add to this, there was no reply address, just a generic "TRIBUS Home Warranty division: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED". This is the only mention of the business name in the entire letter. No business address, no sales representatives name, no business registration number etc.. Only a phone number is listed to contact.The reply from Tribus to *** B on July 2022 fails to address the issue that ***, myself and others raise: The letter appears predatory in its alarming wording and formatting. Tribus replies below that unsubscribing "would be just as easy, if not easier, then taking the time to post a negative inaccurate review of our company". Writing a review as a new homeowner and a recipient of Tribus's letter is worth it to alert others. I would not do business with this company based on this letter.
