After checking my credit report on 12/04/2009, with Transunion, they required a ONE time charge with my credit card in the amount of $7.95.

Just noticed today that on my online credit card statement that I was charges $14.94 monthly since 12/04/2009! I called on 11/1/2011 the so called Transunion to dispute the charges and they kept legitimizing why my credit card was charged for a subscription that I DIDN't authorize! @@ Charges totally $330.00 to my credit card were made. Never did I get an email or hard copy in the mail and yet this Transunion or Bureau Credit Monitoring Service Subscription Service, or True Credit company discreetly charged my credit card. The customer service manager Alan, in Fullerton, California was persistant in trying to negotiate a settlement for half of the amount that was illegally charged to my account!
To all out there, don't be fooled or trust any website claiming that they're Transunion, or True Credit. They are con artists representing what is actually the (according to my credit card company, ) called the 3 Bureau Credit Monitoring Service. Want to check your credit report? Let your bank, credit union, or lawyer provide you with that information! Please contact me if anyone is interested in class action. Fight for consumer RIGHTS!

Call the company and complain! Call Alan and complain now! [protected] Drop me a note all of you great citizens! Tommy

Something needs to be done about True Credit. Long story short, we bought a house and in September I had a low limit credit card that I basically maxed out to spiffy up our new house. Not realizing I had done that, my subscription to True Credit had been terminated by the company (for both my husband's account and my account) due to payment method and subsequently, I had no access to our account. There was a message asking us to update our payment method. This all went down in September 2011. Today (November 2011) I just noticed a charge on my credit card to True Credit and I did a little more research and saw that I was indeed billed in October 2011. So 2 charges for 2 months AFTER my services were terminated.
So, I called thinking this could be resolved quickly. Accounts were inaccessible and money charged - easy refund for the months charged following the termination of service. Well, after being shuffled around, a very persistent guy was very determined to not refund October's charge. I explained that he could not charge me for a month of service that I didn't receive. To do such is not right. He said he was right and the charge stood. We went round and round on this issue. I explained over and over that I didn't receive service past September 7 2011 and he couldn't charge me for October service - the representative's response was basically, "Yes, I am here. I am listening." Finally I broke down and asked him what in the world was wrong with him.
I told him that I was reporting the company to my credit card for fraudulent charges and that I would also be calling the BBB. I asked for his customer ID and after a couple diversions, he finally said he would give me all refunds to just settle the matter. I insisted he give me his representative ID and he basically refused. I repeated my request and from that point he threatened me with "Warning No. 1 Ms. Loftus, " and then "Warning No. 2 Mrs. Loftus." I then said I am hanging up this phone because I will not be threatened. I immediately called my card company and they put the fraudulent dispute on my card, terminated that card number and are issuing me a new number. I now also have to call all credit bureaus to put a hawk alert on my credit info. This True Credit company refuses to identify their customer reps and proceed to peek into your credit info via the information they have on you and your social; therefore, I am contacting the BBB and I am game for helping this company lose business/dissolve or whatever so that they can't rob more families.

Ma'am I just had nearly the same issue...the guy on the phone was a complete ### (purposely). I honestly felt like I was being hacked and will be contacting my credit companies tomorrow to ensure I DO NOT receive this charge. I did receive, and keep, the cancellation email to ensure they don't charge me...I feel they will still charge me and I will not be able to dispute. On top of that we have RARELY if ever been give a real credit score and the reports haven't updated for 2 - 3 years in same cases...yet they tell me that I have to call these credit companies, banks, etc...to report! This is BS...why does CREDIT mean so much yet you can't do anything to review and/or fix it. I am a very intelligent person and I read through financial magazines and articles throughout the Internet (legitimate financial articles) about credit. I am constantly confused about the process and everyone has their own input on what 'REALLY' build your credit...COME ON! This is as bad as any giant company, government institution, or other large organization...it is just too big to handle and nobody has any idea how it works. The entire credit process needs to be completely re-vamped...especially the companies that claim they supply reports. I feel like a complete ### for paying for this service for 4 years and still not getting anything out of it...put your trust in something and this is what you get.

I was getting on electric bill for help. Then it poped up and asked my sn, my name, my account bank. I thought that SSI Requested. So I answered the questions. After that asked me pay $17 for credid score. I did not need credid report. So I did not click to pay.
I left this site. About one month later, today I found that this transunion took my money from the bank without my consent. This transuion is the rober company and theft. I think
All victims could contact to the FBI. We must destroy this transunion theft.
