This company is refusing to give me a paid in full letter! It have been 7 days until I paid them off. They received my funds via Debit so they have already cleared and are telling me I cannot receive my letter for 14 business days. Breaking FDCPA guidelines!

I received a letter in the mail on Friday regarding a balance owed to a previous residence I acquired. I contacted this agency on the next business day to conduct an inquiry regarding a payment arrangement. The first individual I spoke with was very professional and transferred me to a ***. First I want to say I have never ever been spoken to with the level of disrespect I have experienced from a business that is intending to collect a debt. To say the least I ended that conversation quickly by requesting to speak to her manager. He was exactly the same! Of course there is the group mentality of "we protect our own" and no one is held accountable for their actions or behaviors towards the consumers in which they serve. The manager, whose name is refuse to even remember was just as curt, brash, and commented that I was being brash because I wasn't comfortable giving him my new address when all I asked was can I make a payment arrangement. When I disclosed I will work directly with the apartments he snidely commented that "they'll just refer you back to me". I have never had to file a complaint against an entity of this caliber. I"m disgraced and disgusted by their level of unprofessional-ism. We are still consumers and you have no right whatsoever to remove dignity from your practice regardless of whether you are collecting a debt or otherwise. Humanity. Kindness, respect, professionalism are vital to the work and interaction you're having with humans. I have worked with so many creditors over the last few months because i'm working on my credit and I've always been treated with the utmost respect from the first time they answer their phone. Tone, pitch, patience, positive attitude, listening skills, etc etc all things that matter when you're working with the public. Beyond disgusted with this company.

Unfair Collections Practices- This "Collections Agency" is rude and unprofessional. I called 9/10 regarding a report on my credit for Brookside apartments that I was unaware of. When I called I spoke to a rude man by the name of *** he told me that I owe a small balance of $436.98. I did inform him that I never even knew I had a balance that the apartment complex never contacted me and I even updated my address and have the same phone number. If I knew I had a balance of $375 I would have paid it. I asked him how many times I was called regarding this debt. He informed me 2 times, one time in 2017 and another in 2019 keep in mind I moved out oct of 2016. I asked him why I was only called 2 times. He basically informed me that my account was small and he had other bigger accounts that needed to be collected. He said let me ask you a question how many times did you call to get your deposit back he said "if that was my $400 deposit I would be calling everyday." I requested to speak with his boss to complain about his horrible customer service he then passed me to Brain. I Informed *** of how disrespectful his employee was being to me and told him I work in collections and I would never speak to anybody the way *** spoke to me when I was the one calling trying to resolve this debt that I knew nothing about. He informed me he will monitor our call but I still am responsible to pay. He also told me its not his job to monitor my credit that if I would have ran my credit I would have seen it advised him that I do not even have a credit card and if I did owe you would think that they would call me more then 2 times in 4 years what kind of collection agency does that. Advised I have no problem paying it because I need it to be removed off my credit. So I go personally down to the office to pay debt in full and he then tells me he can not provide me a letter stating it will be removed or deleted. I was willing to pay off my debt but he was unwilling to provide me a letter
