Lying and refuses to talk to women.
Wellingtone Estates will only get back to you if you are a man. The landlord will also tell you they have homes available, then after you pay for the application, they suddenly have no homes available. They will charge you a ridiculous amount of money for a deposit, when multiple friends and family of mine who lived there only had to pay first and last months rent as their deposit. They raise the rent and only care about money. This is why my friends and family were forced to move, they could no longer afford the ridiculous charged from the landlord. Horrible at communicating, sexist, and money hungry. Do not rent from these people.
Recommendation: Don't waste your time.
One star is overrated!
One star is overrated! I tried to buy a manufactured home. Right from the start, the UMH realtor representative, Jon *** In, lied and misled me and my realtor multiple times. Then, he would change the wording on the purchase agreement after we had already made a deal. He made it seem like the seller and I, the buyer, were against each other. We negotiated for weeks, and when we finally reached an agreement, he was dishonest once again and made me just walk away. There were way too many red flags with this community for me to ever consider moving forward with them again. The representatives I saw and dealt with were very shady.
Just found out after living here for 16 years
Just found out after living here for 16 years. People that moved in recently pay less rent than us old-timers. When I first moved in, we all paid the same. Many residents are really mad about this. Tried talking to the office, but they just say it's corporate's decision. Total nonsense! We don't get anything in Twin Oaks 11 in Ohio, not even salt for the winter. They don't spend money on anything. Someone will get hurt walking to get the mail if they don't salt. Can't believe they're taking advantage of us when everyone's struggling with the pandemic. Something needs to be done. Otherwise, a bunch of us will get a lawyer involved.
Horrible and lying about moving in - looked for corporate email or phone number none were provided anywhere

Review:
This place is terrible! They lied to me about moving in. I tried to find their email or phone number, but couldn't find it anywhere. I was told so many lies through *** and phone calls that were *** and not true. I have proof of the lies I was told. They said I was approved and given a move-in date, but then they said I wasn't approved after I tried to contact them for two weeks. I even turned down two other places because of them. They told me I could just come up with 45,000, but I was only approved for the lot. I'm a single mom who works really hard, and I would have been a great tenant for this trailer park. Trust me, I will tell everyone about this horrible experience. *** the leasing agent lies.
I live in *** estates and this company always comes into my privacy and tries to charge extra for *** concerns
I live in *** estates and this company always comes into my privacy and tries to charge extra for *** concerns. They leave notes on my door about these *** concerns and only suggest eviction to solve problems. For example, I have a problem with stray cats that only cause property damage and spread diseases. I told the management about this issue, but they said it's not their problem. So, I started trapping these animals to help them, but now they say I can't because they don't allow food for these animals. It's funny because someone must be feeding these strays, or else they wouldn't be here. Overall, the management is poor and biased.
I'm writing from a UMH property in western ***
I'm writing from a UMH property in western ***. Yesterday, my husband and I called to have some electrical issues fixed in our house, but nobody came to our door. Today, I called again to inform them that nobody showed up yesterday. They claimed that two grown men had come, but we didn't see anyone. Today, an employee came and started banging on our door, accusing us of lying about nobody coming yesterday. He said he didn't come up to the door because our car wasn't here. However, my husband is always home with our 1-year-old, so that's not true. He got angry and left. I called the office again, and he answered once more. I spoke to the other manager and explained that we weren't lying, just stating the fact that nobody showed up yesterday. This is definitely unprofessional on UMH Properties' part. We've been living here for a year, and it feels like nobody wants to help us. I don't understand why we would call if we weren't going to be here.
I live in UMH *** and I wanted to share my experience
I live in UMH *** and I wanted to share my experience. The park manager, ***, has been dishonest and manipulative. She changed the park lease to benefit herself and discriminates against locals, threatening to evict them for minor lease violations. The lease requires homeowner insurance, proof of title ownership, and yearly tax payments, but many homes in the park don't comply. Public records show that hundreds of homes are breaking these rules. Recently, water meters were installed, but they aren't being read monthly, even though the manager claims they are. Instead, she charges a fee per person living in each home, which seems like a conflict of interest. There are many other park violations as well. We tried reaching out to the regional manager, *** but he was very unprofessional. He interrupts and changes the subject to avoid addressing the problems. We feel like going to court is our only option. I want the public to know about these corrupt individuals. As a family man, I feel this is unfair and we just want to be left alone.
****, sneeky, obnoxious, lazy and crazy
sneeky, obnoxious, lazy and crazy. That's just the tip of it. Im in real estate and have access to courthouse records. Come to find out they(***) somehow had a *** #, parcel identification number, assigned to the rental lots occupied by mobile, modular homes in order to have the tenants responsible for property taxes. *** #'s are strictly for real estate not personal property. Dont pay them. Mobile homes are personal property to begin with, not real properly as defined by the national appraisal foundation.. paying lot rent is your only responsibility. Have been in a *** owned community for over 11 years and been threatened with tax sales, foreclosure etc.. *** responded. They dont have a case. Also dont expect anything to be fixed that is the property owners responsibility due to lack of help. Was told awhile back not to ever drink the water from my tap by rental manager! Wow. Incredible! The community I live in hA raised the lot rental every single year for 11 years. They are trying to force out owners in order to fill the community with their own rental units which is a much more profitable endeavor. Cant wait to get out. The whole company needs to be investigated by the state Attorney Generals office. "
Summit Village in *** IN
Summit Village in *** IN... don't move into this community. The property manager, *** is a b***. I have lived in this community for 3.5 years and have been a good tenant. I needed things fixed in the home and gave the list to the office at least twice. Nothing ever got done, so I waited 3.5 years to call the regional manager, ***. I needed new skirting, which I was promised before moving into the home and my air conditioning was not working properly this year and I had been told by a repair man that I would be needing a new one in 2022, but the only thing I got fixed was screens put on all my windows. Big woop! Skirting has holes all the way around the bottom, one part blows open every time the wind blows, and one side had a big place that was open, but they closed it up with a piece of wood and a big rock. Classy, huh? So funny how they raise the rent every year, but can't fix anything. Wonder where all that money goes? Now *** is terminating my lease due to me having two Emotional Support dogs. One is for myself and the other one for my son. She gave me a 14 day notice to get rid of my second one, but I haven't, so now I am facing lease termination due to having two Emotional Support dogs. Mind you I believe this is in retaliation for calling the corporate office. She told my son I tried to get her fired which is not true. I called to get my s*** fixed because she never fixed anything that I needed done in 3.5 years. I would say I had been quiet patient actually. The pet policy when I moved in here in 2018 was that you could have two dogs if both were under 50 Lbs a piece. Now all of a sudden that is no longer the case. Which I feel that if I have lived here that long, then I should be grandfathered in and allowed two dogs. I know several other people that have more than one dog, but I am not allowed. Hmmmmm sounds like discrimination to me. Mine are even registered as *** Good riddance Summit Village!
I had a roommate move out and take his dog with him, so I needed the pet fee taken off the monthly rent
I had a roommate move out and take his dog with him, so I needed the pet fee taken off the monthly rent. I called every day, sometimes more than once, and left voicemails. Nobody ever called me back. I called the main office and someone named *** got in touch with me the next day and said the property manager was no longer there. They told me I had to bring a check for the rent to the Port Royal location, so I did. The next month, when I tried to pay my rent online like I always do, I saw that the charges from last month, including a late fee, were still there. They also charged me for the pet fee this month, even though it was supposed to be removed. I called every day and left voicemails for a week, but nobody answered. I contacted *** again and she said she would fix the problem and call me back. She never called me back. Four days later, after sending her many texts, she finally got in touch with me again and said I had until 4:30PM to drop off a check in a drop box, or else I would be charged a late fee. I told her that wasn't enough time because I work until 4:30PM, and she agreed to give me until tomorrow. Since my parents live in Belle ***, I asked them to drop off a check for me instead of me having to make a 40-minute drive there and back, and they agreed. I told *** that the check was dropped off, but she said it wasn't good enough. She wanted me to write another check and bring it to Mount Pleasant by 9:00AM the next day because she didn't want to drive there in the morning to pick it up. She told me this at 10PM. I am so frustrated right now. I did everything I was supposed to do in this situation, but I'm still being blamed even though nobody from the company seems to want to do the bare minimum for their job. This should have been resolved with a quick phone call, but instead, I had to make a long drive in the middle of the night. This company doesn't care about its tenants and will ignore you until it's too late if you have a problem.
They have some of the most ridiculous rules, like no pool over 10gallons, if you get a dog, no puppies, they must be over 2 years old
They have some of the most ridiculous rules, like no pool over 10gallons, if you get a dog, no puppies, they must be over 2 years old. There are plenty more ridiculous rules like this, strongly discourage renting from them unless you have no other choice.
