Uniqlo Online store

There is no Uniqlo store in Portugal, where I live. Before christmas 2024, I ordered a number of warm winter clothes from the Uniqlo Website, to be delivered to Portugal, to take on a New Year trip to Scotland. But due to the high number of christmas orders, UPS Portugal suffered a meltdown, which meant I did not received my order on the estimated delivery time, and was forced to buy alternative clothing on local stores. Upon returning from my trip, when I received the packages from Uniqlo, the clothes were no longer needed. I proceeded then to return these items, and had to pay 58,41€ to make a return that would otherwise not have been necessary. I find it to be absurd that I have to pay 58,41 euros to return 266,80 euros of clothing, when I am not to blame for the failure of the delivery service. Not to mention the absurdity of Uniqlo not having a free return policy itself.
In addition to this, the functioning of the website itself is a disaster. I printed 2 return labels, one for the order #[protected]-3000736, in which I returned items totalling €207,00, and another for the order #[protected]-2753279, in which I returned items totalling €59,80. These return labels have since disappeared from my website profile, leaving me with no way to track the return or refund of my items.

Claimed loss: 58,41 euros

Desired outcome: Refund of 266,80 euros for the clothing items, plus 58,41 euros for shipping back these delayed items.

Uniqlo Dress purchase

Having bought a dress in Oxford St branch of Uniqlo I decided once I got home I didn’t not like it and wanted to return it. While purchasing the dress I downloaded the app which allowed me a 10% discount. I was told the receipt for the purchase would also be on the app as it is connected to my email address. I then tried to return the dress to Regent st branch but I didn’t have the physical receipt (only the purchase history) on the app. Which I was told would act as a receipt. I was only offered an exchange. I then went to Spitalfields branch to try a few things on to exchange but was told I would only get sale price. I purchased the dress full price and the date on the app can prove this. All sales assistants and managers in all these stores were unhelpful. Kept saying ‘it’s policy’ and gave me zero reason why they couldn’t help. I’m not left with a dress a don’t want. Disgusting attitude and no help from anyone.

Desired outcome: A refund. A voucher for same amount and and apology!

Uniqlo Uniqlo Review: Great Online Store with Unique GiftNow Feature, But Watch Out for Hidden Taxes

Uniqlo is a great online store that offers a wide range of clothing options for men, women, and children. They have a unique feature called GiftNow, which allows you to send gifts to your loved ones without worrying about the hassle of returns or exchanges. However, there are a few things you should know before using this feature.

Firstly, if you use GiftNow, Uniqlo will apply an estimated tax based on the highest sales tax in the country, which is currently in California at a whopping 12%. This tax will be applied regardless of whether your state charges sales tax on clothing or not. This means that if you send someone a gift worth $200, you will inadvertently give the recipient an extra $24. This may not seem like a lot, but it can add up if you are sending multiple gifts.

Secondly, if the recipient lives in a state where no sales tax is charged, they will receive the tax amount in the form of a gift card. This is done without your prior approval, so you may not even be aware that this has happened. If the recipient never redeems the gift card, Uniqlo benefits from the unused amount. This may not be a big deal for some people, but it is something to keep in mind if you are on a tight budget.

Despite these minor issues, Uniqlo is still a great online store that offers high-quality clothing at affordable prices. They have a wide range of styles to choose from, so you are sure to find something that suits your taste. Their website is easy to navigate, and their customer service is top-notch. If you are looking for a reliable online store to shop for clothing, Uniqlo is definitely worth checking out.

Uniqlo Uniqlo.com's Hidden Return Fee: My Frustrating Experience

I recently made a purchase on Uniqlo.com and unfortunately, the two shirts I received did not fit me well. It was more of a style issue rather than a problem with the fabric or manufacturing. I decided to return them in a single bag, knowing that I would have to pay for the return shipping. The cost of the return shipping was not too bad, but it was still a bit pricey at $7.99.

However, when I received my refund, I noticed that they had deducted an additional $7 from it. I was confused and frustrated, so I decided to reach out to their online help. Unfortunately, there was no email or phone option available, so I had to use the chat feature.

After speaking with a representative, I learned that the additional $7 deduction was a "return fee" that they charge for all returns. This was surprising to me, as I had returned the items in good condition and I had not seen any mention of this fee during the checkout process.

In the end, my return of a $40 item ended up costing me $15, and my refund was only about $25. While the representative did offer me a one-time exception on the fee, I have decided to cancel my account with Uniqlo because I expect normal clothing returns to only cost me the return shipping.

Overall, I would not recommend shopping on Uniqlo.com unless you are absolutely sure about what you want to purchase. The return process can be quite costly and the lack of communication about the return fee was frustrating.

Uniqlo Uniqlo's Terrible Return Policy and Customer Service: A Disappointing Experience

Uniqlo, oh boy, where do I even begin? Let's start with their return policy. It's absolutely terrible. I mean, come on, no exchanges on any baby items? Even if it's completely unopened and sealed in its original package? That's just ridiculous. I recently tried to exchange a baby item that was brand new and sealed, but they wouldn't budge. And to make matters worse, their customer service is just as bad. Both in-store and online, they simply told me to go look at the policy. Really? That's the best you can do?

I don't understand why a global business like Uniqlo can't accommodate a simple gift exchange. I mean, Amazon has a 3-month exchange policy on all baby items, and even offers free returns. And just about everything in retail stores can be exchanged, so why can't Uniqlo? It's just mind-boggling.

I discovered Uniqlo while traveling in Asia and the US, and I have to say, Uniqlo Canada sucks. Their policies and customer service are just not up to par. So, my advice to you is to not buy any baby gifts from Uniqlo. Since they're not exchangeable, it's just not worth the risk. Baby needs always change, so it's better to go somewhere else where you can exchange items hassle-free.

Overall, I'm just really disappointed with Uniqlo. They have some great products, but their policies and customer service just ruin the whole experience. I hope they can improve in the future, but until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Uniqlo Uniqlo Store Review: Disappointing Discounts & Unhelpful Staff

I recently visited the Uniqlo store and I must say, I was quite disappointed with my experience. While they advertise in-store discounts, it seems that depending on where you come from, you may not be eligible for these discounts. This was quite frustrating for me as I had come in with the expectation of receiving a discount, only to be told that I was not eligible.

Furthermore, when I asked for help in store, the staff were not very helpful at all. In fact, they told me that I was not the only one with this problem, but did not offer any solutions or assistance to help me solve the issue. I found this to be quite unprofessional and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

When I tried to seek help online, I was met with a lack of ability to help and rudeness. It seems that because I did not make the purchase online, the online customer service representative was not willing to assist me and instead asked me to go back to the store I purchased from. This was quite frustrating as I had already visited the store and received no help.

Overall, I would say that there are much better stores out there to purchase products from. The quality of the products at Uniqlo is not exceptional and the customer service leaves much to be desired. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your shopping needs.

Uniqlo Unacceptable Treatment by Uniqlo Security: A Disappointing Experience

I recently visited the Uniqlo website and was impressed with the variety of clothing options available. From stylish jackets to comfortable loungewear, there was something for everyone. However, I did notice a few spelling errors on the website which made it difficult to navigate at times.

Despite this, I decided to visit a physical Uniqlo store in Brussels for a more hands-on shopping experience. Unfortunately, my visit did not go as planned. As I was leaving the store, a security guard stopped me and accused me of not paying for an item. The cashier seemed confused and had no recollection of the item in question.

I was then taken to a small room upstairs and made to wait while another security guard watched the footage from the cashier on camera. Despite my protests and apologies, I was treated like a criminal and made to feel embarrassed and humiliated.

I understand the need for security measures in stores, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. It is important for businesses to treat their customers with respect and dignity, even in situations where there may be suspicion of theft.

Overall, my experience with Uniqlo was disappointing and I am hesitant to shop there again in the future. I hope that they will take steps to improve their customer service and ensure that all customers are treated fairly and with kindness.

Uniqlo Uniqlo's Products are Great, but Delivery Service Needs Improvement

I absolutely adore Uniqlo's down jackets and other items. They are always my go-to when I need to update my wardrobe. I usually opt for the "collect at convenience" store option as I have a neighbor who is not very reliable when it comes to receiving packages. Despite my repeated requests to couriers not to leave my packages with him, they still do, and I never end up receiving them.

Unfortunately, the last three orders I have placed with Uniqlo have been lost. When I track my orders with HERMES, I see the dreaded message "missing pre-advice," which means that my item is now lost and will be returned to Uniqlo. After the first two lost orders, Uniqlo assured me that this was just an IT error and that it had been fixed. However, when I placed another order, the same thing happened again.

To make matters worse, the most recent order I placed was a gift for my God Daughter's birthday, and she had specifically asked for it. I was devastated when I found out that it had been lost in transit.

After the first two lost orders, Uniqlo did offer me codes for 10% off and free postage, but to be honest, I don't think I will be using them again. It's just too frustrating to have my orders constantly lost in transit, especially when they are gifts for loved ones.

Overall, I still love Uniqlo's products, but I am disappointed in their delivery service. I hope that they can improve their shipping methods so that I can continue to shop with them in the future.

Uniqlo Uniqlo Review: Poor Quality and No Customer Service

This holiday season, I decided to check out Uniqlo, an online store that is not known for its American quality, customer satisfaction, or high standards. I purchased some items for my daughter, but unfortunately, she did not like them. The fit was poor, and there were see-through feathers sticking out of the winter jacket. Despite spending a total of $140, I was disappointed to find out that the store would not do anything for me without a receipt. They refused to offer a return or exchange for other items of the same price or more. The only option available was to exchange the items for a different size of the same product.

I was surprised that Uniqlo did not hold up to the same standards as other American stores. American stores are known for their commitment to customer satisfaction and helping customers find items that fit. However, this Chinese outlet did not seem to care about consumer rights. They violated my right to choose and my right to be educated about their return policy. No one in the store informed me at the time of purchase that without a receipt, I would not be able to return or exchange the items. Perhaps I should have taken a photo of my check to avoid this situation.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Uniqlo. The poor quality of the items and the lack of customer service left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality items and excellent customer service.

Uniqlo Uniqlo's Online Order Delays and Poor Customer Service: A Frustrating Experience

Expect to experience some delays with your online orders when shopping at Uniqlo. If you call to inquire about the status of your order, you may be told to wait one or two more days, even if the advertised delivery date has already passed.

If your order has not yet shipped, they will take no action unless you call them again. This has been a recurring issue with my past orders. While they sometimes offer online promo codes to compensate for any inconvenience, oftentimes they do not. It can be frustrating to have to spend another three days checking on your order.

It seems that Uniqlo does not prioritize improving their customer service or finding out what went wrong with orders to fix recurring issues. As a result, it is up to customers to be frustrated and there is little they can do about it. This is very disappointing, as I had hoped that Uniqlo would make improvements and progress in offering a better online shopping experience, but they have not.

Uniqlo Uniqlo's Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy - A Disappointing Experience

Uniqlo is a store that I recently had a bad experience with. I had to return a faulty item and their handling of the situation was not good. I was not planning on writing a review, but I feel like I have no other choice. They refused to give me a refund or even store credit, even though I had missed their return window by only a couple of days. I explained to them that I had just returned from a trip and couldn't have returned it any earlier. I even had proof in the form of a plane ticket! I was so disappointed when they didn't listen to me. I had bought the item as a gift for my friend, and as soon as she put it on, it tore. I wish I had never bought it for her. She lost $30, and I lost 90 minutes of my time trying to solve the issue through their chat service. I had to chat with them twice over the course of two weeks, and they were completely unreasonable. They didn't even provide a phone number to call and talk to a human. I would advise anyone not to buy from Uniqlo. You will regret it if you have any issues with the quality or size of the item you bought. My name is Monica M, and if I could, I would give them a zero-star rating.

Uniqlo Uniqlo Review: Defective Product and Poor Customer Service

I had a really bad experience with Uniqlo. I ordered two Airism camisoles and when they arrived, they smelled like ammonia! I tried to air them out, but it didn't work. I did some research and found out that the camisoles were made of bemberg silk, which apparently includes ammonium in the manufacturing process. I contacted customer service and they said that the camisoles were defective, but didn't offer any solution. So, I returned them.

However, when I received the refund, it wasn't the full amount. Uniqlo had promised to refund the return shipping, but they didn't. I had to email them multiple times to get that back. Then, I had to file a dispute with PayPal to get the last $4.63 back (which was the shipping cost to me). PayPal initially decided in my favor, but then reversed the decision because I didn't upload some documents. This caused a lot of frustration and wasted time.

Overall, I regret buying anything from Uniqlo and I won't be buying anything from them again. The customer service was unhelpful and the whole experience was a hassle. I hope they improve their service in the future.

Uniqlo Product was not as described/ordered, Uniqlo refuse to provide return postage costs

I ordered a pair of jeans with a 30 inch waist. When they arrived, the waistband measures 35 inches, so they are far too big.

I sent a very clear photograph showing this measurement, however customer service claimed they could not read the numbers, and rejected my request for a free returns label.

The product was not as described on the website. Had the waist measured 30 inches, but we just didn't like the fit, I would have been happy to pay for the return cost. However, as the product was not as described, Uniqlo should be paying this cost.

I have attached the photo. As you can see, the numbers are not hard to read at all, so I don't know why your customer services department could not read them. The tape measure was inserted into the belt loops as per my 2nd image. The end of the measure is against the 35 inches mark on the tape measure indicating this is the total size of the waistband.

These jeans just fell down when my daughter put them on. They were not just 'a bit big', they couldn't physically stay on her.

If I order a 30 inch waistband, the product should have a 30 inch waist band. It shouldn't have a 35 inch waistband. If I'd wanted a 35 inch waistband, I would have ordered a larger size. The label stated 30 inches, but it is not. This is an error by Uniqlo.

How can I ever order anything else, not knowing what size it will be when it arrives? What's the point in ordering a specific size, if the product comes at a different size?

Please help.

Desired outcome: I would like a prepaid returns label please.

Uniqlo Customer service

Hi there,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of service that I received from your company one of your representatives today at around 3pm 15th of March 2023, at the store in Rundle Mall Adelaide Australia. I came to request an exchange for a product I had purchased, but unfortunately, I was met with rude and unhelpful behavior.

This representative I spoke with, whose name I do not recall (is a girl I am not sure, but she looks like an Indian, you can check the camera if necessary), refused to exchange the product size for me despite my explanation that I have not even opened the item. She said that I had used the product, which was not the case. I felt offended and belittled by her accusation. After speaking to her for a while, she reluctantly agreed to exchange the size for me. However, I can not ignore the fact that her behavior was unprofessional and uncalled for. If her parents did not educate her in a good manner, I do not mind giving her a class to let her know what the manner is. I cannot begin to describe how angry and offended I felt by her accusations. I had made a legitimate request for an exchange, and yet I was treated like a criminal. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Until now I am still left with a sense of anger and resentment towards your company for allowing such behavior from your representatives.

As a customer, I expect to receive good service and be treated with respect, regardless of the circumstances. I did not appreciate being accused of something I did not do and being made to feel like a burden.

I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and take steps to ensure that this kind of behavior does not happen in the future also I need the person who serviced me to apologies to me. I would appreciate if you could respond to this matter and let me know what actions you plan to take. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will be forced to rake future action to ensure that my rights as a customer are respected.

Kind regards,

CC

Uniqlo Mens Down Parka

Placed an order online before Christmas in 2021. They never confirmed my order and nothing arrived before Christmas. When I contacted them via email, they told me they did not have any order placed by me. Yet, they tried to charge my credit card. I stopped the charge on my credit card.

In January 2022, lo and behold I receive a package from Uniqlo and then they charged the card. I am trying to return the parka and the only way to do it is through the mail. They told me I had to pay shipping.

Desired outcome: Would like to return this in the store without incurring shipping charge.

Uniqlo Return policy

Went to the Uniglo nearest my summer home on Michigan Ave in Chicago, IL. From a quality/price standpoint, I see why it is my son's go to store. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I Bought some shirts and a track suit all large size. Took them home and tried on a shirt and the track suit, and it was clear I needed a larger size.

Read the return/exchange policy on receipt and went back to the same store the next day. Clerk informed me that I had taken tags of the track suit and opened the cardboard packaging on shirt, so he would not take either as an exchange. Thus, I have two Uniglo items of clothing that I cannot use.

The receipt bar code for the original purchase is (6620210622132450074040078) dated 06/22/2021 13:26 store 74

The receipt bar code for the exchange is (66202106231408290074020097) dated 06/23/2021 14:10 at store 74

I explained the situation with the clerk, and he was totally unhelpful and disregarded my concerns. Thus, I didn't purchase three items that I would have if I hadn't had such a poor customer experience.

Thank you,

Bradley Wilkinson
