Unique Insurance Company I would give it zero stars if that was an option

I would give it zero stars if that was an option. My son was in an accident in January. We filed a claim and have yet to see an adjuster. It has been over a month. Every time I call I get thru to someone in the claims department that can't do anything but put notes in the file. On every occasion they put me on hold for a supervisor who never comes to the phone. Today is my 5th time calling and being "supposedly transferred to a supervisor" and being put on hold for over an hour which ends in me hanging up. My son has full coverage insurance and pays every month on time. This is his first time filing a claim and this is the service we get. If I wasn't thinking right, I would think that Unique Insurance has no intention of paying out claims. Look at all the complaints and the supposed responses from them. Their tactic is to inconvenience and frustrate you until you give up or state some kind of clause in the contract that gets them out of paying.

Worst insurance company ever! I was rear ended by a driver that is insured by unique insurance company. I filed the claim on their website, the agent reached out to me, I sent my car to dealership for repair estimate, paid out of my pocket for rental car first, 3 weeks later, they called me said my car will be totaled. After another week, a lady called me and said they just found out the insured bought the policy after accident, so they won't honor this claim. How can an insurance company doesn't know to verify the insured status at first place and they just told me they won't honor the coverage after me waiting for 6 weeks! Worst experience ever!"

If I could give this Company a lower rating, I would. I was involved in an accident with someone who is insured by Unique Insurance, nearly 3 weeks ago. Their client ran a red light and struck my vehicle, completely destroying the front axle. Luckily, no one was harmed. However, after filing my claim, absolutely nothing has happened. My car is still in the storage unit. They have not paid the storage fee. No repairs have been made because I cannot release the vehicle unless the insurance pays the storage. I rented a car to get to work. Uniques has not reimbursed me a single solitary cent. The only thing that Unique has done is give me an unrealistic low quote for the damages.I am a disabled veteran who has served this Country for over 20 years. I dont say that for sympathy. I only mention that because I live on a fixed budget. Some may be able to relate. I also mention that because, I feel like every American deserves proper customer service. It should be against the law to treat anyone like this. What must a man/woman do to receive a fair deal?

I got into a acident 5/30 and it is now 6/23 my car was drivable up until a week ago. My car is now not driveable. I pay for rental reimbursement every month on my policy and there rental coverage is only $20 a day for 15 days. There is literally NO insurance company that offers that rate especially for a driver under 25. They dont make the rental reservations for you so you have to pay out of pocket which would be hundreds dollars more than what they reimbursement you for. I asked to pay for a different policy that offers more for rentals and they dont even offer one. I pay my insurance yearly and cannot even depend on the insurance company to keep me in a car while my car is being fixed. Also like I said its June 23rd and my accident was May 30th. My estitames for my car repair are not ginished, have not been approved or are even under consideration. I did my part and submitted photos of my car not even three days after my accident. I can NEVER get in contact with my adjustor, all I get is her voicemail and when I ask to speak to the supervisor all I get is her voicemail. WORST company ever !

The company operates in a very very unprofessional manner. I was involved in an accident where the liable party was insured by Unique insurance. The incident happens in October and its now February 2022 and I have not been able to get my money back for the car rental. The company gave me body shops which were very inexpensive and would not allow me to pick my own shop. I have now been following up with *** on a weekly basis and all to no avail. I just want my money back and hope to never have to deal with them again. This should be illegal.

I have been involved in an accident with a vehicle unique insurance insures it was a three vehicle accident and once we established unique insurance as liable for the accident they have been postponing this claim saying they need an answer from a supervisor to move forward with this and when I asked the adjuster to transfer me to the supervisor she said that she cannot do that for various reasons. I had contacted the operator and asked her to transfer me to someone in upper management in regards to this claim she transferred me to another adjuster who was able to get me to the supervisor I believe her name is *** and she did not pickup my call and I left her a voicemail. It has been really frustrating working with this insurance company I can barely get in contact with adjuster they are telling me that they will try to repair the vehicle. But I don't believe that this vehicle is repairable as there are damages done to the frame of the vehicle."

I was hit by an unlicensed driver insured by Unique Insurance Co. They refused the claim though the driver clamed liability. This company is a scam! If you get hit by someone who is insured by them, you will end up going through your own insurance company. Beware to get as much information and noted liability while at the scene of the accident. This company should not be in business...***!

This is not an insurance company...its a money grab, a scam if you will. My wife was rear ended at a red light by a driver that is insured by unique insurance company. I filed a claim and provided them with pictures from the scene, police report, in depth footage of the damage that was done to my vehicle that all literally indicate that their driver was at fault. They continue to refuse to pay for my vehicle...they sent me a ridiculously low estimate even though they never took my car to a shop. They claim someone in their office does estimates by simply looking at the pictures, which is absurd. On top of that, they claim they will only pay half of the estimate they sent me because my driver said you stopped to fast.

Unique Insurance Company I've been reading as much about this unprofessional business

I've been reading as much about this unprofessional business. As much as I read I get most frustrated. I have been leading with my claim for about 7 months. As soon I generate my claim an Agent call me. She does't callback after my response. I was trying to reach her without success. I send an email and call several times and always is the same . I understand today due to the Covid all the business get busy, but my case has 7 months. I have to take legal actions. We buy an insurance for safety, been responsible and in case of accident were protected and you guys make my days with my kids difficult and frustrated. I need my car in property shape. I need to keep my kids safe! We don't have to have more expenses getting a taxi to go work or take the public bus with my kids on this days . Your client hit my car ! I hope the authorities take action and every one here too and makes this company responsible as should they be. Today more than ever we need to raise our voice.

If I could give negative stars I certainly would I wish i would have done research on this company when United Auto Insurance selected them as my insurance company. They have no issues staking your money but god forbid you need them to do what you pay them to do. If you have them PLEASE save yourself the headache later and find a new company before you actually need to use them! They are con artists at the highest level, best scam to date! They dont have to worry about my money I will be taking my business elsewhere and dont mind the extra cost for the piece of mind of ACTUALLY HAVING COVERAGE THAT COVERS ME!

I was hit by hummer that left accident He was caught by police. I file a claim to insurance Company. I called to see how everything was going but it was super hard to get to adjuster. One of the adjuster called that my vehicle had to be adjusted and to to be seen. I was told truck was going to be picked by them. 3 months later I was told vehicle was to expensive to repair. And had to be total. I had to pick up my vehicle. I picked up and they had already changed parts on my vehicle , i have pictures Of before and after. Its very disappointed to have to go with these kind of issues . Horribe service with unique co. Bad experience.

Unique Insurance Company This company doesn't even deserve one star

This company doesn't even deserve one star. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in December! Yes, December . The driver at fault has this insurance. I have been trying to get this claim resolved since then. I have only received one letter, and spoke with an agent in January. I have faxed all of the information requested, I have also mailed all of the information requested. I have mailed everything three times, and call at least twice a month..sitting on hold for hours only to be hung up on, transferred and hung up on, messages have been left with Peter Van Daal and Sylvia Loper..all of which I have still yet to receive a return call. The driver was clearly at fault, she totaled my car. There were witnesses and a police report. I receive phone calls regularly from the hospital regarding payment for services. This insurance company is a fraud. How is this company in business? I have read these reviews and I am appalled as to how they get away with these things. They need to be shut down.

If i can give them 0 stars I would. On December 31. My car was hit by a unique card holder. So I call to put a claim in was told to speak to Rosa J. Ext ***. I have left 3 urgent messages and still no call back. Ever time I call goes straight to voicemail. Even my insurance company geico call to no answer. This is unbelievable I need my car fix. The driver admitted to police she did it. This is very unprofessional

once my claim was being processed, I had several questions following up I called everyday for a week and half and every time was sent to voicemail. once I reached a lady finally she put me on hold for 2 hours only to find out she put me on hold and she left home. I realized I was just on hold pass their time of operating hours

This company is the worst company to ever deal with. I gotten into a car accident last Saturday, February the 13th and i file my claim with them. The called me on Tuesday and I missed the call, once i called back i haven't gotten no answer. I have been calling since Tuesday and still no call back. This place is very unprofessional. They insured is at fault thank god that I have State Farm but they will not even contact State Farm back. They are scammers and frauds. I will be getting my lawyer and reporting to the Complaintsboard.com.

Unique Insurance Company Most would agree that the auto insurance industry is shady at best and anything but consumer friendly

Most would agree that the auto insurance industry is shady at best and anything but consumer friendly. However Unique Insurance adds another level of scheme to the auto insurance industry. They are crooks. I will make it a point to not patronize them and encourage others to not do so. My car was recently damaged by their insured, and because THEIR insured didn't respond, they are denying my claim for "non-cooperation" despite a police report that included a statement of fault by the insured. Unfortunately, they are within their legal right to do so (which says something for our laws), but it reveals the lengths to which this company will go to not to pay for anything. They could have chosen to settle this straightforward claim with the legal documentation they were provided. Now I have to go to court and spend time and money on a lawsuit. But to be honest, I'm up for the challenge because 1 star companies like this need to be challenged in a court of law by upstanding citizens. I'm so glad they don't represent me- Scrooge would love them though.

Unique Insurance Company I was rear-ended by a Unique Insurance policyholder on the Kennedy Expressway in December

I was rear-ended by a Unique Insurance policyholder on the Kennedy Expressway in December . The driver admitted he was completely at fault. Unique Insurance sent me to their preferred body shop for an estimate. The body shop (a rather creepy place) gave me a ridiculously low estimate for the repairs Unique would cover. I then took my car to a well known and reputable body shop in my community and their estimate after a cursory review was $1000 higher. Then I contacted my insurer and their preferred body shop did a detailed look and came up with an even higher estimate. I ended up choosing that repair shop and had to pay my $500 deductible. It appears to me that Unique Insurance is a "fringe" insurer that preys on drivers who need proof of insurance by can't get coverage from legitimate insurers. Unique offers them low rates but very questionable protection. How you can give them a A+ rating is mystery to me. They are clearly a very low quality insurer. I give them NO STARS. And, I can no longer take your complaintsboard.com ratings seriously.

Unique Insurance Company My car was in an accident on August 14

My car was in an accident on August 14. The insurance adjuster name is Matthew Rosa, I took pictures sent them to him and on the day of the accident and spoke with the adjuster on the 17th. The insurance company tow the car on August 19, I got a rental on the 17th. I have sent over 30 emails and called over fifty times and I have heard nothing from them. Then I get a letter in the mail stating that they will not cover my storage cost without me filling out a questionnaire. Now, how in the heck would you send me this letter on the 25th of August, had the car since the 19th, and then tell me you won't pay for storage fees? Which means they haven't even started on my car and they only allow me 15 days for rental. My mom is ill and I need my car for doctor's appointments and other errands for her. I don't understand why they don't answer and leave their customers without a clue as to what is going on and how they process their claims. How does this really work? The last time I wrote on this forum is the only time they reached out to me. So, here I am again. Hopefully, this will get there attention and reach out to me.

this is the worst insurance company i have dealt with, i was hit by one of the insured by this company and to date i have not received not even a call nor a letter from this said insurer, on 08/13 the insured backed into my SUV, and to date, not even a response after i sent them the questionnaire by certified mail and by submitting them the photos and police report from the accident, i even went and got them an estimate for the damages, and even the repair shop mentioned they do not deal with this insurance company over the bad reputation they hold of not paying them in time or at all, it is sad that they are in business like this, by charging outrageous premium rates and then stiffing their own customers, i have dealt with Marlene *** and Jasmin ***, it is rather sad, and embarrassing to know that they like their jobs of stiffing honest people, really bad reputation as i have read some of the complaints and dont show face to no one for this, all they say is that they will get on it, and nothing, there is not even a place on their website to check on a current claim terrible business, i sure hope they go broke and disappear.

My car was in accident on September 12. On the same day, I filed my claim and sent pictures. Given that I received no feedback, on September 14, I called Unique Insurance Managers and the receptionist told me that an insurance adjuster named Sandy *** was assigned to my claim. The receptionist suggested to routing my call to Sandy ***. Unfortunately, Sandy *** did not pick up the phone on her end. Thereafter, I made three more phone calls trying to reach Sandy, and she never responded the phone. That non-response of hers made me to send an email to the claim department, still no response. On September 15, I made four phone calls to the insurance adjuster, still she responded neither to my phone calls nor to my voice mails I left for her. That non response prompted me to send another email, which was not responded. That non-response made me to make another phone call to the general line. After waiting online for more than 40 minutes, a receptionist picked up the phone. I told the receptionist all details about the non-response of Sandy ***. The receptionist suggested once again to route my call to Sandy ***. I told the receptionist that Sandy *** never answers my calls or my emails. The receptionist then said that she would write an urgent message to Sandy *** to urge her to contact me before the end of business hours of the day. The receptionist also added that she would notify the supervisor of Sandy ***. It turned out that it was a lie because business hours of the day ended without receiving any call from Sandy ***. I need my car so that I can carry out duties of my job and projects. The more they refuse to do anything to pay for the repair of my car, the worse my finances and duties are jeopardized. Since Unique Insurance Managers/Company continues to refuse to assume their obligations and give me accurate timeline of of their steps to have my car fully functional, I have no more options other than seeking immediate intervention of the Illinois Department of Insurance.

Unique Insurance Company I have been going through Unique insurance for almost 3 years now

I have been going through Unique insurance for almost 3 years now. I have been paying early faithfully since I started getting insurance through this company. On 4/21 I got into a motor vehicle accident and started my claim right away. It took about 2 weeks before someone contacted me with my new claims adjuster. After that, I didn't hear back from my claims adjuster for another week or two. When he finally did get ahold of me again, he explained that they were still waiting on a police report and the estimate to be complete and once it is complete I will be assigned a new claims adjuster. The middle of May, my new claims adjuster calls and tells me my estimate amount which is extremely low balled, only offering me $626.00 for a car that has a Kelly blue book value of more than $6,000.00, in which, over the two years of paying on my car, before it was payed off in November, I have paid well over $6,000.00 on top of paying my $200 full coverage insurance early every month for 2 and a half years. My new claims adjuster tells me that my car is only worth $1,900.00 and they deducted unrelated prior damages to my car and ended up taking off $532.17 on top of my $500.00 deductable. My car is paid off so I am not understanding why damages that happened before my accident is being deducted. They also told me that to move my car for the estimate that they also deducted $300, but that I would get a $245 charge back. Meaning they would give me $245 back out of the $300 they deducted to move my car. But when I fo the math, the $245 is actually being deducted as well therefore, they only charged back $55.00. Anyways, my claims adjuster tells me that she is going to email me a document that needs to be electronically signed as well as she will be mailing me a document to sign and mail back with my car title. I received the email and tried to electronically sign it and wasn't able to for some reason. Nor did I ever receive the documents in the mail that she was supposed to send out. She never gave me her extention number so when I realized I couldn't sign the documents electronically, I had no way to get ahold of her. I have been calling, leaving voicemails and emails for weeks now and no one has gotten back to me. It is extremely frustrating because It has been almost 2 months since my wreck and I should have all my claims stuff together by now but due to the lack of communication, and how hard it is to get ahold of anyone in this comapny, my claim continues to be pushed back by the careless emplyees of Unique Insurance. At this point I am about ready to seek legal help and after that I am switching companies and will tell everyone I know to never go through Unique insurance because it is a terrible insurance provider.

Unique Insurance Company I have been with this company for 3 years and I pay my insurance on time every month

I have been with this company for 3 years and I pay my insurance on time every month. You would think that Unique Insurance would treat me like a valuable customer, but that was not the case at all! I was in a accident on 03/28 and the communication between me and the insurance company has been terrible ever since. The entire right side of my vehicle was damaged. The company gave me an Insurance Adjuster called Nicole *** and her communication was awful. My car was in the shop for nearly 2 months and she rarely called me or thought to send me a email. When my car was finally done at the auto body shop, I noticed that there was a crack on the interior right side of my door that was not fixed after the accident. I called my adjuster Nicole to report this, and she took 3 days to respond. When Nicole finally did respond, she told me that she has been backed up with customers and she has been very busy the last few days and that's why she didn't return my call sooner. I looked over that situation, because at that point I just wanted my car fixed. She told me that I would have to send pictures and put in another claim for the crack on my door. I asked why do I have to do that? When it should have been fixed the first time? she said don't know and would have to talk to the appraiser. Long story short, they said they would not fix it because it didn't pertain to the accident. I did not understand why? because it happen in the accident and on the very side the car was damaged. The conversation became heated between and Nicole, so she proceeded to hang up in my face. I asked to speak to a Manager and they sent me to Kathy Nee. I had to leave 3 voicemails before I received any response from her. This woman was very rude and unprofessional and how she became the manager I do not know! she talked over me when I tried to ask her question and she refused to even hear me out. She had her mind up before I even picked up the phone. She told me that it didn't matter that I was a valuable customer they would not reinspect my vehicle for the damage and they want pay for it. She also implied that I was lying about the damage to my car and trying to get the company to pay for something that didn't happen in the accident. Wish was false since I only had my car for 2 years and it was still fairly new. I never had a accident in the vehicle as well. I have a new certified Honda Civic 2013 and this was my First Accident! The way that they treat and talk to their customers is terrible! I will never pay for their service Ever Again! I have been with their company for 2 years and the Adjuster Nicole *** and Supervisor Kathy ***, talked to me like I was a Dog! with everything going on in the world right now and me being an African American woman I would think I couldn't feel lower as a black woman. But those two women made me feel as low as dirt. Its sad because I gave so much money to this company over the pass 2 years and they could care less about me as a customer nor person. I would not recommend this company to no one and I do not know how they are still open! They have so many bad reviews and customer experiences, but yet they are still open. DO NOT give them your business! they will take your money and if your in a accident they barely want help you get it fixed.

Unique Insurance Company My vehicle was parked outside in front of my house

My vehicle was parked outside in front of my house. It was hit by an insured driver from Unique Insurance. I filed a claim with them the same day, two days later I finally got ahold of them. Nine days later we finally got a letter from them stating that my car should be left in a storage free location,because they where not going to pay for storage fees. I never had my car towed to the tow yard, the police did, it was not driveable. I assumed the police had contacted Unique Insuarance to find out what to do with my car, and that's why it was towed there. Anyways, after fighting with them, I agreed to just take the check they offered, even though they did not offer to pay the storage cost, nor did they want possession of my car. They did however deem it a totally loss. This was on Tues march 3rd. I finally received the documents on the 7th of March, the accident happen Feb 16th, 2020, I emailed them the documents on march 8th after excepting the offer, they then said it takes 48hrs to get an email, which makes no sense, then they said another 24hrs to process the check, then it would be 5-7days to send the check. It is now the 23rd of March, still no check. I tried to call them, nobody ever answers and all I get is an email. I know I should have just sued them, but I figured the money it would have cost to hire a lawyer, was more than it was worth.

So a month ago Iwas hit by one of their insured parties.I made my police report May 20th 2022, when the accident happened, I provided Unique insurance all the details and information they required on my behalf promptly. I was told my claim was made and going under review. All I was I was given was a claim number and no supporting documents on behalf of the company to prove my claim was made.No one communicated anything to me after my initial call to the company.They assigned me an adjuster by the name of rica Libertino. *** did not communicate with me at all regarding my claim. Our first interaction occured because I called trying to ask about the claim at which time she explained that she had COVID and was under the impression that another coworker was handling her cases. She explained she was going to review it and get back to me.At this point its been a month since my accident and I fear that this agent and company is waiting for my case to lapse so that they can say I didnt contest my case within my time limit. I fear this because Ive seen it happen to other people with this company.Its been a month and I have no clue what is currently happening with my case. I have made multiple attempts to contact my adjuster as well as reach out to any claims agent for help all to no avail. I have left voicemails with my information requesting a call back and nothing.

We were hit by one of their insured and its been almost a MONTH with not one bit of information. We are having to use our insurance to figure out a vehicle and come out of pocket for a rental truck due to this being a work truck. Its getting ridiculous we can never get ANYONE on the phone. My insurance company cant even get any one to answer anything.

Started a claim with Unique Insurance on 6/3/22 after a Unique Policy Holder did a hit and run on my car in April. After starting the claim I sent the photos in thru the app that Unique sent me. Was told a claims adjuster would be in touch with me. No one reached out to me. After a week of waiting reached out to Unique Insurance to be told I have a new claims adjuster no one contacted me. After speaking to the new adjuster she claim it was pending noted I have a police report she asks me to send it I did. Reached out the next day to the claims adjuster she stated she was waiting on my police report it was sent the same day she requested it. After viewing it she claims it will take *** the run around. Stating that the car that hit me could be stolen. It was a male driver who hit me the insurance policy is not under his name but he was driving the car. The claims adjuster stated I should use my own insurance to repair my car. Why would I do that. I want answers

The problem with having with this insurance company is that their communication skills is horrible and that their customer service skills is horrible in regards to my $30,000 car being wrecked by a client of them there has been no return calls in regards to the situation when the adjuster was supposed to following up a day afterwards and now its going on the 2nd week I have called several times shall I say 12 to *** 1 call back and told me to send the car to a shop of my preference to be inspected after the shop inspected he then reached out to give tge updates from the body shop to the adjuster and he said no one answered or returned a called back to him after he tried calling 5x so at this point Im really concerned if I will be getting my car fixed and there is no one on there end making me feel any comfortable during the time of this situation so Id would highly appreciate if you as a Complaintsboard.com interfered suing the time of this matter because I dont consider this a a professional Business thank you

Hi, my name is associated with Policy #TXP3125316 and Claim #TXPOOOO431. Okay, I can't locate the keys to my Expedition. If you run a check, it will confirm that I am the owner. If it weren't for your involvement, I would have retrieved the vehicle myself because you inquired about the keys' whereabouts and instructed me to inform the impound lot that I was authorizing the release of my vehicle to your team. Then, the following day, I end up in jail. I had planned to retrieve it before you offered to do so, which is why I didn't proceed. After my release, I discovered you never even attempted to retrieve it, so the fault lies with you. You should not have said anything, and I would have managed on my own. Therefore, I shouldn't be charged for an error on your part, especially since you don't have the car. Why would you need a photo of the title? I didn't want to be left without a vehicle; it was due to the negligence of one of your drivers. Additionally, my car's blue book value is significantly higher than what is being claimed, and now there's a sudden interest in the title, yet it wasn't requested when the initial correspondence was sent.

My vehicle was hit and damaged in a parking lot. I was not in my vehicle at the time. It was parked legally in the parking lot of my place of employment. This was on May 21. It is getting close to 2 months now. The person that hit my car is insured through Unique Insurance Co. I am insured through a real insurance company that you can actually talk to on the phone. My car isn't repaired as of July 09. I cannot reach this company by phone, email or through the US Postal Service. I need the damage to my car repaired. The person that hit my car has also tried to get in touch with them to find out why my car hasn't been repaired yet. I don't understand the process with this company. I wasn't at fault for any part of this accident. I was at work, doing my job. I make a payment on this car every month, the person that hit me is insured why isn't my car fixed yet? Why do I have look at a 3 foot long, deep scrape/gouge down the left side of my car every time I get in it? I sent claim pictures in on May 22. It does not take months to get a claim processed. I deal with insurance companies all the time and turn around is usually a few days to a week. Not months. Double that time or even triple it for the pandemic and my car still should have been repaired a month ago. Is this company being run from someone's kitchen table or what? Worst customer service I have ever dealt with from any company. How do I get my car repaired?

This insurance company is the worst. Their client backed out of the driveway of my rental property and damaged the brick facade of my porch. This happened on May 28th. I have obtained a quote for a professional to fix it and have been diligently trying to have their claims adjuster contact me in regards to follow-up and payment. I have even emailed this person, but at one time, she called and hung up before I could pick up the phone. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism and indifference to their poor conduct. They should not be allowed to operate in my state. I expect them to contact me and issue the check they owe, which is their obligation.

Last Tuesday, March 31, between 2:30 pm - 2:40 pm, I was rear-ended by this companys insured drivers. Their driver is at fault for this accident. I called the adjuster (Adilenne) multiple times and left numerous voicemails. It took their adjuster a week and two days to contact me back. Ultimately, Unique Insurance Company denied my claim because they claimed that their driver had a lapse in coverage and was uninsured during the accident.

I was involved in an accident on 04/19/2022. The insured, whose name is withheld, was found to be at fault. He was reportedly driving a vehicle that belonged to someone else, which had not been reported as stolen. This detail is crucial because my insurance company, Unique, informs me that the individual in question is not covered under their policy when driving a vehicle that is not his own. Unique is refusing to accept liability on the grounds that the vehicle was borrowed and the policy of the actual owner states that if permission was granted, coverage is extended to the driver. We seem to be getting the runaround from both parties, and they refuse to compensate. My goal is simply to have my losses recovered. They are even unaware of the make and model of the car the insured person owns. So, what exactly is he insured for? Perhaps health insurance? Moreover, given the time that has elapsed, the cost of repairs is likely to have increased. The vehicle in question had no license plates and there was no identifying signage on the truck. Sincerely

Unique Insurance Company I was involved in a hit and run accident

I was involved in a hit and run accident. Before leaving the scene the person at fault gave his insurance information to another party that was with him at the scene who then gave it to us. Accident occurred on February 1. It has been 6 months and as as of today we have not had resolution. I constantly call Unique Insurance and keep getting the run around. I have spoken to Alma *** and Claudia ***...who are unable or unwilling to give me any information. I have sent them police report, photos of vehicle, photos of person who was driving the vehicle. Since March or so I have been told that an adjuster was sent out to inspect our vehicle. I have since been told that an investigator needs to speak to Mr. (party at fault) to get his statement. It has been 6 months and if I have been able to find this person all over social media I do not understand why it is supposedly taking an investigator so long to locate him. There were also several witnesses. Today I called and spoke to Claudia and was told that their company attorney is still on the case. I asked her to give me the attorneys info or to let me speak to the supposed investigator and she hesitated and said she was not sure was she allowed to give me that info. She asked for my number and said she would contact me as soon as she approved it with supervisor. That was at 12:00 pm it is now 2:20 pm and still no response. I believe this company is working under bad faith.

Hi I wasn't an accident with unique insurance customer. The accident happened on May 5th By the time I got the police report and the insurance information I contacted unique insurance on the 17th of May. I was able to obtain my claim number after many attempts and many days. I have been trying to contact the adjuster and do not have any luck left numerous messages to her and to the supervisor. After a week the adjuster calls me and says that their client says it's a he says she say situation and she has not received the police report so I emailed the police report to them. and I'm unable to get ahold of anybody at this point. My car is not drivable and I took pictures and sent in everything they asked for. I also emailed them.

Unique Insurance Company My son was involved in an automobile accident on August 18

My son was involved in an automobile accident on August 18. I am his legal guardian. The person who was responsible for the accident has a policy with Unique Insurance Company. There has been very little contact with the company and when you call you cannot get ahold of anyone or even leave a message. They determined my son's car was totaled back in Septemeber 2019 and we mailed them the key to the car at that time as they requested. We paid for rental car for approximately 16 days. They said they would reimburse for the car rental. I had to rent the car using my name and add my son as an additional driver due to him not having a credit card to rent the car. I paid over 1500 for the rental car and finally had to return the rental due to the insurance not processing the claim. The receipt was mailed to them for the rental showing my son as the additional driver so we could get the reimbursement. I understand they have a per day max of approximately 25 dollars per day, but they are yet to pay the first penny. My son need the claim to be processed as soon as possible so he can use the money to purchase a replacement car for the one that was totaled in the accident. The company's lack of communication and lack of action is unacceptable. We are asking that the claim be processed immediately. He needs to be offered a reasonable settlement based on the value of the car at the time of the accident and immediate reimbursement for the car rental. Claim number

I was involved with an accident from an Insurer of Unique Company who was completely at Fault back on November 18th of 2021. The Adjuster *** reached out to me via email back and forth. Finally a check was submitted on Feb 1st for the damages to the be done by the shop. I took my car to the shop on April 4th 2022. We first agreed on rental reimbursement for the amount of $25 per day plus tax but upon trying to rent a car Enterprise was at the amount of $43 a day plus tax. I emailed *** on April 4th in which she agreed to $43 a day plus tax as i informed her im on a fixed budget. I then got the repairs done and submitted the Enterprise Receipt on April 9th 2022. Sent an email asking how long before I receive the rental reimbursement amount of $238.26 however I received no response back. I have called and left several voice-mails for *** as well as her manager ***. Then I submitted emails on April 15th and April 25th. They are now giving me no responses and will not return my phone calls. I have email proof of the final amount agreed for rental reimbursement. At this point im beyond frustrated it should not be this hard to receive my amount of $238.26. Especially since the receipt was submitted on April 9th. The communication was back and forth until it comes to my refund, now no response. I need my money back Asap. This accident was caused by there insurer, and I should not have to keep reaching out to them and try to get a response regarding the amount owed..

I have been in contact with Unique Insurance for awhile now trying to get the issue of my most-likely-a-total-loss vehicle resolved since I filed on 5/22; I simply need to get an estimate; since the outset of filing my claim, even after Memorial Day weekend ended, 3 days had passed before they contacted me, which also so happened to be the day i decided to have my vehicle towed to a mechanic shop and inspected. An agent called me as I was sitting in my mechanic's lobby. That is an egregiously late response to begin our correspondence about this severe issue with my vehicle. I had not recieved any form of contact such as an email before then which is odd seeing as I was informed that my Adjuster was working from home. Now that they've sent an appraiser out to view it on 5/28 and it is the following tuesday afternoon as of me writing this, I do not understand what is taking so long to simply email me or call me with an estimate. The appraiser strongly, strongly recommended I concede my vehicle as a total loss, which I was considering at the time, but now realize that is is a total loss; however, that is independent of the point of the punctuality of my adjuster contacting me after the company sent the appraiser. An agent several days ago gave me my adjuster's information but she has not been in contact with me as of yet and that's my main issue. I've called several times and left messages as well. Unique Insurance Company I would like a re-evaluation of the 75% liability determination

I would like a re-evaluation of the 75% liability determination. There is no appropriate evasive action that could have been taken in the middle of an intersection during a green light in which my vehicle had the right of way. Any other action taken by myself would still have resulted in a collision with your driver who chose to turn into oncoming traffic without having a clear pathway. It is my understanding that your driver made a false statement to the authorities stating that his left turn was consented through a green signal for the left turn arrow. As I'm sure you know, this was not the case because the opposite lane of traffic would have had a red stop signal in that situation. Your driver was also aggressive and refused to present his insurance information after the accident, implying that he did not have this information at the time of the accident. I understand that this was likely because he was not, in fact, the actual owner of the vehicle. Anything less than 100% liability is an insult and evasion of responsibility at this point. (Police video) Also, in the settlement, a fixed dollar amount was presented, leaving no room for the possibility that the damages may be more extensive and costly after an actual physical evaluation by a repair shop. The dollar amount was based on photos alone which does not show damages beyond the immediate surface that may have been caused to my vehicle. It would be appropriate for the verbiage in the settlement to be adjusted to reflect the possibility of an increased dollar amount to cover such damages. Thank you for your time and consideration

Unique Insurance Company I was in an auto accident on 3/25/2022

I was in an auto accident on 3/25/2022. I placed a claim for damages to my vehicle on 3/30/2022 after my auto insurance carrier recommended putting through Unique Insurance Company as the accident was the other driver's fault. The claim number for the claim is 22ILP0002447.Unique never came out to inspect the damage to my vehicle. They refused to provide the auto body shop they use and would not give any information. Finally on 5/3/2022 I spoke with Adjuster *** whom stated they fully approved the estimate for outer damages to my vehicle. I have yet to receive the approved estimate or check in the amount of the approved estimate.On 5/3/2022 I reached out to *** Gross Collision here in ***, , company that *** from Unique provided on 5/3/2022. I spoke with the owner *** he was going to reach out to Unique to get the approved estimate so we could begin the process of getting my vehicle repaired. We also need to get an estimate of the damages to the front suspension as my car shakes and pulls to the right very hard. I spoke with *** today 5/16/2022 and Unique had not contacted him back with the approved estimate. I left a voice mail with Unique Insurance on Friday 5/13/2022 for *** and also her supervisor ***. I called again this morning and left voicemails for both *** and her supervisor *** and no one has returned my calls.I need to get my vehicle repaired as soon as possible. This is my only means of transportation to my family around with. I take my children to school daily and have medical appointments I need to get back and forth to. I am also going from working fully remote to back onsite this week and need my vehicle.Please assist me with getting payment and completed estimate for the remainder of the damage to my vehicle.

I was in a car accident on November 11th with a driver that carried unique insurance I had no clue what I was getting into but I called the police and filed the appropriate reports the driver of the car admitted to it being her fault completely and I thought this would be an easy open and close car accident situation it has been nothing of the sorts I was unable to get a hold of the other insurance company. My insurance company has been unable to have response from the unique insurance. I ended up hiring a lawyer because of a physical injury due to the car accident which is ongoing treatment for physical therapy. not me the lawyer or the car insurance I carry have been able to get through to this insurance company to have any kind of process started for reimbursement of my deductible or for reimbursement of any of the medical cost I have had to deal with because of this accident I'm in a financial hole having to buy a new vehicle and also unable to work to the same full capacity. It is extremely frustrating that it has been almost 6 months and no progress has been made with reimbursement or financial covering of the problems caused by this accident or my medical bills. I do not understand how this insurance company is still working at the capacity that it is and taking on new clients when it can't even take care of its current clients or the people their clients have hit it seems obvious to me based on other complaintsboard.com reviews that there are plenty of other situations just like mine that have been neglected. this has to stop so many people to contact me my lawyer and my car insurance company this needs to be resolved sooner than later it is ridiculous that is taking so long I have never in my life. Will this kind of situation with the car accident it is absurd you guys are a real company.

Unique Insurance Company I was involved in a car accident on 10/28 with *** who was insured with Unique Insurance

I was involved in a car accident on 10/28 with *** who was insured with Unique Insurance. The claim number assigned to me by Unique is 19ILP0014786. Unique's Insured was at fault. Unique Insurance took 5 months to finally agree to pay for my damages and issued me a settlement letter on 3/02. I promptly sent them back the signed property damage release form but they wont release my payment. I have tried unsuccessfully for over two years to collect my check but they do not answer their phones, the adjusters assigned to me end up quitting and I dont have a direct contact. I have called them hundreds of times over the past two years( I have phone records to prove it) and they have only answered a handful of times. The phone almost always rings endlessly with no answer and no voicemail option. They have told me on the few occasions I was able to speak to someone that they would send me my check but they have yet to do so. A few months ago someone surprisingly picked up the phone and said they couldn't talk to me because I had an attorney and they could only talk to my attorney. I made it very clear from the beginning that my attorney is only representing me for my injuries, not my property damage. My attorney has also sent them 2 certified letters stating he is not representing me for property damage and they can speak directly to me regarding my property. They avoid answering their phones so that they dont have to pay out claims. Their online reviews are filled with similar stories to mine, where Unique wont answer their phones and wont issue payment. A subpar insurance company like Unique should not be allowed to operate and keep their license if they refuse to pay their claims. Next month marks 2 1/2 years since the accident occurred and they have yet to issue the payment they agreed to.

Unique Insurance Company On April 6, 2022 at approximately 3:45 PM I was re-ended by one of Unique Insurance's insureds

On April 6, 2022 at approximately 3:45 PM I was re-ended by one of Unique Insurance's insureds. I was stopped at a traffic light and he hit the rear of my car. He was apologetic and stated he just wanted to give me insurance information and leave as he said he was late for work. I insisted that we notify the police and file a report. I filed a claim with Unique Insurance Company to notify them of this occurrence. When they were taking the intake information about the accident, the representative didn't even ask if I was ok, or hurt. That is irrelevant with the complaint, I think it just goes to show the character of this company. I finally left a message for my adjuster after not hearing anything and finally spoke *** on 04/12/2022. He advised he already put in for the police report but still hasn't received it. After a week of waiting and reaching out he said he still didn't have the report. I logged in and paid $15 for the report, the same way the insurance company could have, and e-mailed it to them. I did this because I wanted my car fixed and don't think that they were handling my claim in an efficient manner, frankly I don't think they care. On April 25, *** notified me that his company was willing to accept 90% responsibility and pay 90% of the cost. I disputed this and finally on May 3, 2022 they accepted 100% responsibility. I received a check from Unique Insurance for the estimated amount of repair and was able to get my car scheduled for work starting on May 16, 2022. Upon inspection of the car, I was notified on 05/18/2022 that the initial estimate would need to be changed and it is higher. I notified Unique Insurance and they asked me to send the new estimate as I did. They told me that they may not cover the higher labor rates, as the estimate they provided the rates were $28, the shop I chose was $54. I advised that is not acceptable and will dispute that. I still have heard nothing back from them.

Unique Insurance Company On July 7 I got hit from behind while driving to work

On July 7 I got hit from behind while driving to work. I called this insurance and they responded fixing my car,as the passenger wheel completely tore off ball joint and all.I got it back after one month.I only had only had the car for one week when I crossed the train tracks And I heard a tire blow out on the driver's side,when I pulled over I noticed that the ball joint fell off on the driver's side. The police called their towing company to have me get the car of the road as the insurance phone lines were down,and the car was rolled to the nearest *** auto dealer in Home wood .I got ahold of *** the insurance adjuster who sent me to Another adjuster named *** P since this was a new claim no.She called me and left a message that the claim was approved, however I didn't receive any more information.The dealer called me requesting what action to take on the car as they need to know in which I told not to do anything until I heard back from the insurance.A month passed by I received no info. I called the Adjuster *** and she said the claim was approved. She became upset because she thought things were taken care off. When I explained she never told me where to take the car for repairs and I had told her where the car was she said she would get the address .Another month passed by the car is acrue storage fees at $50 a day .I called to find out what was going on . I finally got a call all they want to do is pay $900 .while the storage fee is $4500 already and then some. The dealer wants an estimate of $2500 or so for car repairs. I was told that my deductible would be $531.I feel that this insurance should be responsible for all charges minus the deductible as they failed to tell me where to take the car for repairs and didn't follow through. I tried calling and was consistently sent to voice mail. I got a recent call today from a supervisor only to tell me that I was responsible for storage fees. I was dropped and not told for a week.

Unique Insurance Company On 5/20 I was involved in an accident where another individual side swiped my car, whom is insured through Unique insurance company

On 5/20 I was involved in an accident where another individual side swiped my car, whom is insured through Unique insurance company. Their was police report filed at the station the same day and the other driver was faulted for the accident. On 5/21 I made a claims through the other drivers insurance and my claims number is ***. Due to covid-19 stated by the claims representative they were not allowed to come out to review estimates related to the damages, but they sent an app to my cellular phone to send in pictures. I sent in approximately 42 pictures with different angels of the damages to my car. Moreover, I found out my claims adjuster was Julianna ***. I have been trying to contact my claims adjuster Julianna *** since 5/21- 6/8 and she has failed to communicate with me effectively in regards to my claims. I spoke with her briefly on 5/28 because I emailed her a long detailed outline of every occurrence I talked with her and tried to reach out to her. I also informed her I would address this in court if this matter would not get resolved. Julianna finally called back with an unprofessional attitude stating " her company will not pay for high labor at the shops I preferred and that I would have to pay remaining balance out of pocket, or I should go through my own insurance company". Julianna than proceeded to give me a list of shops her comp[any affiliates with. Julianna also stated " I had to get my own rental because her company does not affiliate with a rental company and they would only reimburse me for 21.99 day". I told her I would call her back within 15 minutes with my decision but of course she did not answer. On 6/3 I decided to take my car to one of the affiliated body shops with Unique Insurance named Metro Collision where I spoke to the supervisor Andrew. Andrew informed he could not take my car unless Unique send over paperwork. Andrew tried to contact unique 6/3-6/8 was unsuccessful.
