I was involved in an accident that was clearly a person who was insured by this insurance company's fault
I was involved in an accident that was clearly a person who was insured by this insurance company's fault. The person ran a stop sign and ran into the side of my vehicle after I had already passed the street. First Chicago concluded that I could have avoided the accident and agreed to only pay for 80% of the repair costs. The person who hit my even received a citation from the Lynwood Police. This was clearly a case where an insurance company was trying to get out of its obligation to pay for all of the repairs for my vehicle I ended up having to go through my own insurance company, and paying a $500 dollar deductible. I expect to get my deductible back from First Chicago, and if not will definitely take them to small claims court. This insurance company is trying to lowball individuals and does not live up to their obligations.

I was hit by one of their policy holders while parked in a parking lot
I was hit by one of their policy holders while parked in a parking lot. The adjuster never calls back. Their phone system takes 10 minutes to get to a person and then they throw you on hold and never get to the person you want except for after multiple attempts. They are still dragging their feet on paying to have my truck repaired which is a 2020 ***. They cant seem to get the policy holder to give her recorded statement because the other statement is apparently not good enough. During this whole time my truck is damaged. The supervisor I was finally able to reach says well you can send it through to your insurance and they can come after us. So then I risk my rates jumping and who knows how long it will take to get my deductible back. I dont know many people who have an extra $500 lying around to maybe get it back because the insurance company wants to drag their feet.

One of their insured drivers rear ended my vehicle and was ticketed as a result and police report was on file. In this jurisdiction, if you rear end someone you are automatically at fault. This insurance company DENIED the claim because the insured driver (responsible for rear ending me) was not cooperating. This is unheard of. Thank goodness I can take this to the state insurance Commission.
This is without a doubt the worst insurance company there is. It's what's called a "Bad Faith Insurance Company". Was rear ended by their client 4 months ago and they are still dragging the claim out. They WON'T return calls and If they do there is always some sham of an excuse. In the mean time your driving a damaged vehicle. Your best bet is to file a complaint with the *** of Insurance.
If you get your car hit by one of their customers they will not pay. I recently got hit by their customer and they have yet to pay me. I even went to the body shop they told me to go to and they still did not pay. I have called and complained and have yet to get any results. I have accepted that I will have to take this lost. First time this has happened to me with a insurance company.
My car was stolen and later found by the police, but the insurance claim was denied.
My car was stolen, and the police later found it. I paid $350 to retrieve it from the impound. It was undrivable due to damage from the theft. The insurance company moved it to another facility during their investigation. The adjuster ignored my calls, and I was later informed that my claim was denied due to a lack of forced entry. Now, the facility demands nearly $400 for its release. I caution against this insurance company; their practices seem deceitful. It's unsettling that such companies can operate with apparent impunity.

So far the worst company in the market. It's been almost a month since the accident and I haven't received a resolution. I had an accident on Dec 12th 2021, called in the company Dec 13th and so far the car still sitting at the shop, nothing has been done to the car. I haven't been able to work because the car on the policy is my work vehicle. At this point I still do not know if the car will be repaired or not. Very sad because we pay for a full coverage policy yet at the time of claim no one in this company seems to care. I call almost everyday for updates and not getting anything. help! If it helps I can pull all the calls I've made from my cell phone *** as proof.
The worst company dont respond or ever call back dont use them you get what you pay for
Beyond Horrible! I was in a car wreck with one of their insured. They gave me hell. Took me 3 months to get my car fixed. They make you pay for your own rental car then they will reimburse you. They send adjusters out to your house instead of taking a quote from a dealership. Their service is awful. They never return calls. Even left messages on the supervisor's line.
They are a joke!
They are a joke! They send out cancellation letters almost immediately after you pay, for the next month like its due tomorrow. Failed to send proof of insurance a couple of times to the *** which resulted in my license being suspended. The police pulled me over for it almost got arrested & car towed with my child in the car one of the times. I logged in showing the officer I was current and had to park my vehicle to wait for couple hours until We got picked up from family. I worked a lot so that was a mommy & daughter day ruined. My daughter still talks about it almost 2 years later. It was current both times I was pulled over. When I called to complain I was told she couldnt help me until I paid my ***, that wasnt due for 10 days and she hung up. They act like they are top dollar insurance when in fact their as valuable as merchandise in ***. I have no idea how they can call themselves a company! Sketchy and definitely dont put their customers first!

This place is not legit and scams people out of money they are owed.
I was in an accident with a person who is insured by this company on 12/13 it is now 12/29 and no one at this company has responded to any of my calls. Every phone number that I call goes straight to voicemail I even sent on hold for their main phone line for hour and 15 minutes before the call was just hung up with no one answering the call. My car is damaged I'm injured and this company will not respond to any means of communication. I have repeatedly called the claims adjuster who's supposedly assigned to this claim and have never spoke to her in almost 2 weeks. No one has called to take a statement or to find out if I'm okay or giving me instructions on anything to do with my car. My next step will be to file a complaint with the insurance authority that governs this company.
This insurance company is by far the worst company that Ive every dealt with. I was in a car accident in October and here we are in January 2022 and I am still waiting on information about my car. I call and never receive a answer. Ive been hung up on and my adjuster *** is terrible . I never receive any call backs . I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the time and hassle. Pay a few extra dollars and get a real insurance company because this one isnt it.
This company is the worst one of their customers hit my car on July 31 and still no help
This company is the worst one of their customers hit my car on July 31 and still no help. We have their client license, insurance information, and the paint from Jannatul Jesy car all over the right back of my car. The claim specialist called one time and said she needed to know exactly what happened. I called *** right back and 5 other times left voicemails and no call back. Only a call back once I reach out to her mgr which never returned my call. In the mean while sent a letter pretty much saying call my insurance company to cover the damage since she doesnt know what happen and this is the person that doesnt return phone calls to find out what happen. This a scheming company to get insurers money and never pay out claims. The next step I guess is to get a attorney involved and especially to get my son doctors bills covered since his wrist has been hurting since the accident and this may effect his baseball college chances! Thanks for nothing

I would give half a star, but cant
I would give half a star, but cant. Horrible customer service and horrible ongoing experience. It has now been 4 weeks and almost nothing has been done. I was told last Tuesday (9/6) that a decision if the car is a total loss would be made and payment would be made in "A day or 2". It has been a week and have heard nothing from anyone. I was told 3 different times in the last 4 weeks that the car would be removed from the tow company lot it has been sitting at since the day of the accident (4 weeks) and it is still there. Nobody ever calls me back, never e-mail me back. Anytime i call i can do nothing but leave messages which does no good because i never get a return call. If i am lucky to get a live person, they just send me to another department where nobody answers and i have to leave another voicemail which NEVER gets returned. No communication at all. Total garbage customer service. i spoke with the adjuster 1 time- 3 weeks ago and cannot get a hold of him or get any information ever since. All i have ever asked for is some information !

I was hit 2 months ago, the lady that hit me did not want me to file it on her insurance as she had had so many accidents she was afraid they would cancel her. She stated she would pay me cash after i got a quote from a repair shop. When we set a meeting to exchange the money, she never showed and has not answered any phone calls since forcing me to file a claim. I have a police report clearly stating faut, I emailed the copy given to me by the officer on the scene but the company told me this wasnt an "offical" report so they would not accept it, then they stated they were unable to get the offical report from the PD after it was requested, i will get a copy and send to them but they informed me after they recieve it, It really doesn't matter whose fault the report states it is, if they are unable to get a statement from their insured party within 10 days they would be forced to deny the claim. I cannot wrap my mind around the fact that if the police report clearly states fault all a person has to do is not answer their phone for 10 days and they get out of paying. This is absoluty outrageous!

UN RUN RUN!
UN RUN RUN! If I could give them a 0 star I would. I made the mistake of using this cut rate insurance. I was fully covered and a semi truck hit ME! It was the truck drivers fault. 1st when I called to report the accident not one time did they ask if I was alright or care at all. They are rude and so unprofessional when you call. I called 3 time before I finally got someone to not hang up on me because it was almost closing time and they didn't want to deal with it. I stayed on hold for 38 mins before someone answered. When the claim adjustor *** called he was just as rude and did not offer me any information. I asked where do I get a rental car from and he said you get 30 dollars a day, you pay and we pay you back. It had now been 7 weeks later and he will not return my call to reimburse me for the rental. My car was totaled and they have to send the check to my car loan and they still have not done it. I had to call they 6 times before they finally gave me the certificate of compliance so showing that I had insurance to the *** I cant imagine if it was my fault how you would be treated. I have since dropped them and went to state farm. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. I will file a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com if I do not get this handled in full by the end of the week.

On May 9th, one of this companys insurees supposedly had their vehicle stolen. Her vehicle (and the supposed thief) then hit me and left the scene. I was able to find out the owner of the vehicle as the bumper fell off in the road and a Good Samaritan picked it up and brought it to me while we waiting for low enforcement. I reported the hit and run to First Chicago, on May 10th, immediately after reporting it to my own insurance. First Chicago stated they didnt even have a claim from their insuree but would look into it. I never heard back. My insurance provider has attempted to contact first Chicago multiple times to find out a claim number and have been told we are so short staffed claims are very delayed in being created. On July 14th, my rep was told she would hear back in 1-3 business days but no calls have been returned. I called and left a voicemail to which was never returned. I called yesterday and was placed on a 30 minute hold and then hung up on. At this point, first Chicago has had the worst customer service Ive ever seen in my life. The insuree they insure. Has lost her license more times than anyone should have a chance, was caught driving with a suspended license exactly one week after her car was supposedly stolen while left running. Great work keeping other motorists safe! The lack of care, customer service, and work ethic in this company is atrocious.

This company does not pay claims
This company does not pay claims. It will look at any possible way to get out of paying a claim. I am a insirance broker that sales 1st Chicago and have had 3 claims in a row not paid out due to minor issues that the good companies i sale would not have a issue with. Client #1 was denied because he was in accident on a bad weather night and didn't get out to look at damage to his vehicle until next day. Since no police report was filed. denied Client #2 was denied because they stated that she didn't provide accurate information on her application. There was a accident a few years prior she didn't tell agent about. This company does a clue report before providing insurance so it was basically the were taking payments from this lady until something happened and they come back with a excuse not to cover it. Client #3 The Client come in and paid what the program stated she needed to to get poliy reactivated. She then had a accident a few weeks later and they denied it because they stated it didn't completely catch her up. She was 29.00 short. SO she was canceled after making a 400 payment for 29.00. These all occurred in jan-feb 2021. We have stopped placing clients with this company and looking to transfer Clients to other companies that are with they at this time. Beware of this company. They are priced good however they do everything possible not to pay claims and if they do it usually a very lowball estimate.

I started doing claims with a private car rental company and I will tell you it really looks awful when you're told one thing and turns out to be another. For example, their adjuster do notify the caller that they are out sick or just out of the office. They do not return emails with updates. The claims supervisor lied to me said he would help with any of my claims. I am sure the people are not bad. One adjuster told me that they are understaffed and overworked meaning they have seen 3x the number of cases than in previous years. This is unacceptable. Their turn around time is so horrible and communication is outrageously delayed. I can not believe this company works the way it does. The company I work for has invested over $100K into FCI in less than two years, and another supervisor said to me very rudely that we are not special. We have over 40 cars insured with them and yes we are not special but we are different type of client and need to be handled differently. I have to speak to 4-5 adjuster almost every day. I requested for our companies cases to be handled by one adjuster and I asked one of the adjusters and said that they would do it. When I wrote the Supervisor a letter requesting he denied our request. I am trying my best at my job but I feel like they make it harder by delaying the process and being treated like any other customer does not help. My boss has invested too much in there company. We need to move on.

Unfortunately my husband was a victim of car theft but was thankfully not harmed
Unfortunately my husband was a victim of car theft but was thankfully not harmed. Having left his car in a gated driveway, his car was stolen. We imagine they had an antilock system/software or found his keys lying nearby as there was no 'evidence' of forcible entry and/or tampered with the gates when trespassing on private property. Doing the right thing, he called the police and his insurance company immediately upon realization and handed over the *** footage once he obtained this. First insurance DENIED this claim. First Chigaco admitted/agreed that the car was stolen, absolutely there was no speculation surrounding this- its on the *** footage. You can clearly see the thief robbing surrounding cars and then managing to enter his car (still unknown as to how). However, First Chicago decided that the car was not stolen 'aggressively enough' to warrant a claim. We were sent a denial letter stating that they will only cover forcible entry of a stolen car, not just simply a stolen car. The car basically has to be stolen in an aggressive manner only, not just stolen...Now, you can only imagine the devastation this can cause to a human life. Not only did that car still have a balance owed (which the gap insurance would cover if First Chiago would pay out something- $100 even but of course they didn't), but my husband would not have to buy another car. A sudden shock of looming debt, inability to travel 'aggressively' changes the course of his next 5 years perhaps. Thank goodness the Lord himself witnessed your FOUL play and the car was recovered by CPD. Now, CPD did not notify my husband nor the insurance company that the car was found...yep the bad luck continues. A *** of 2K from the tow company, and some physical damage we thought to call Chicago First with the GREAT news to adjust/start a new claim to be DENIED again,There is more to this on trust pilot (word count here is limited)- but thats the jist of the nightmare.

You're welcome these people they are not into it to help people at all, their automated system is very horrible and they're holding system is even worse you will be on hold for 20 to 25 minutes and then when you do get a receptionist they may just hang up on you or be very rude and disrespectful to you. In my area they have no agents but they tell you to go talk to your agent where you signed up for your insurance All buildings are temporarily closed so there's no one to speak with. The agent that I signed up with and a few representatives at First Chicago informed me that you have a 5-day grace period from the day of your *** being due what they will not tell you is that if you cannot get through to them to pay your *** they will actually cut it off in that 5-day grace period does not exist now I'm in the position of being in an accident and label that's having a last insurance which will cause me a suspension. But on there in they won't cover you or anything of that nature. I called and called and called to figure out why this 5-day grace period isn't being honored and I always get the same excuse oh we're sorry we're sorry for the mishaps I've been a loyal customer for well over 3 years and get treated like ***. Do not trust this company they will take all day to pay your claim whether you're paying the $500 deductible with them or you are trying to receive from them as well from one of their customers or their carriers. Most places I go to even a car rental place does not trust this company because they do not report any incidents or anything of that nature to the *** so it doesn't help your case when you're trying to go to a different insurance company and get a quote to start off with a fresh relationship or a better relationship with a better insurance company I've got nothing but rudeness and disrespect from this company completely so I will not be remaining with them and I don't believe anyone else should because the adjusters themselves they will go days without answering the phone and then they will not call you back they will mail everything to you which is snail mail. I have yet to get a complete answer to why my 5 day grace period wasn't honored and the automated system even states I had until the 27th to make a payment or the policy would close "

First Chicago Insurance is not reimbursing me for the damages to my car caused by one of their clients! I had to follow-up with them leaving calls, voicemails, emails to the claim handler Jessica ***. NO HELP WHATSOEVER! I had to do all the Read My Full Story: Beginning from Christmas Eve, December 24, I was hit around 3:15 pm at the parking lot of Planet Fitness on 86th street. We were directed first Chicago insurance company, to file the claim with them and they will pay it. A day later we called and began to file the claim with them. After we filed the claim a man named Eduardo was supposedly handling our claim and gave us the claim number of #59648. He called us to talk to us about what happened on the day of the incident and recorded what we said for future references. Then on December 29,2019, we received a call from a man named Brett who was sent by Chicago insurance to come out that following Monday to look at the damages of the car. He took pictures of the car and sent them to the insurance company. Then on January 10 we called Chicago and we were directed to a woman named Valentina who told us the man originally handling our claim (Eduardo) is no longer working at the company; however, she told us that Jessica *** would be handing our claim from now on. Before we were handed over to Jessica she asked us to send any pictures we took from the accident with the date and time located somewhere on the picture. That was the last we heard from Valentina up until this past week. But from that day till now, Jessica has been slow on answering our emails and gave very little information about the update on our claim. She never made contact or gave updates to us unless we made contact with her. Eventually, after March, Jessica stopped responding to our emails so we started to call her in hope of receiving any update we can get. The on a phone call, Jessica then said that Darian has sent all documentation needed except one more document. This document is proof that she is part of a co-insurance. They needed this document since we filled in late December. We tried to make contact with Darian by sending her texts saying to please contact ur insurance and send in the last documentation so the claim can get processed. Darian said she'll be closely working with her insurance as I should with mine (Even though I am not filing the claim with my insurance, so my insurance has nothing to do with this) and this is last I heard from Darian before she blocked me from sending her any texts/calls. Through these six months especially from march through now where the last document was asked from her, Darian has not been picking up her calls or answering her emails from the insurance company. She has little to no contact with me when I text/call her, and eventually she blocked me from any contact towards the beginning of May. I texted her one last time on May 4th saying she has until May 15th to send in the document, and then I would file a police report. We contacted Jessica and told her about it and she said the last correspondence with Darian was May 5th. On that day Darian asked what document was needed from her (even though the insurance contacted her multiple times telling her about the specific document they need) Jessica said she sent her an email saying to send in the document of co-insurance and until this day she still has not sent it. Through these past 6 months the insurance company has been no help to me, the never answer my email, they purposely ignore me and never give me updates unless I make the contact. Darian has been REFUSING to send one last document either because she is afraid to show proof that she was (or still is) a permit driver at the time with no one driving with her, or the person she is sharing her insurance with is not cooperating and refusing to share the document with us. First Chicago Insurance is encouraging its clients to get away with hitting people's cars! I did my part and they failed to do theirs and now I have 1,500 in damages!

Claim #INA82405 I filed a claim for my 2010 Pontiac G6 being stolen on: 09/02, I have had nothing but problems with First Chicago since, they kept telling me they were mailing paperwork and I never received it. Then I told them to email it to me and I got more excuses. Once I got it to a body shop, they advised the Converter was stolen, which caused damage to the Manifold along with some other issues caused by the theft; The body shop advised me that due to my vehicle/Pontiac is no longer being made, the parts would have to be aftermarket as the parts that need replacing cannot be replaced with used parts as it isn't safe to use; I certainly didn't expect them to use OEM parts on a 2010, if they were even available, that wouldn't make sense. The body shop stated the total cost of the repairs is $23.75, First Chicago sent them a check for $989.69 and advised them and me that I have to pay $1139.16-$500 Deductible I am also responsible for $639.16. I was told by the claim adjuster handling my claim that I have to pay this due to them not covering new parts. I told her it's not my fault that my car was stolen and damaged, she stated you are driving a 2010 Pontiac, they don't even make that car anymore, why would we put brand new parts on it. The body shop even advised them that it's not safe to put used parts and that the owner shouldn't be responsible to pay for the parts and the claim adjuster told them that's just the way we do it; There is now way I should be responsible for the damages to my vehicle and I had full coverage, I should only be responsible for my deductible; The body shop hasn't even started on my vehicle as they are also trying to figure out why I have to pay this and why the insurance didn't send enough to cover the cost of repairs minus my deductible. I want the insurance to pay the full amount minus my deductible and cover the repairs to my vehicle, as it is only right.

I have full coverage through first chicago insurance Policy # ***-00 I was in an auto accident on 10-29-22 I made a claim on 10-30-22 Not once has this company called me about my claim. I have made every phone call to them. Im going on over a month with no communication on their part. My last update they said its in total loss waiting to be approved.I dontnknow how long this process usually takes but I have been without a car since oct. 29th I would like to be paid out on my car immediately.
Claim #TXM77848 A client of First Chicago Insurance Company hit my truck while it was parked. The guy tried to leave the scene but his car was entangled with my truck. We called the police and made a crash report on November 17, 20. I made a claim on that same day to First Chicago Insurance Company. They told me an adjuster would contact me. I haven't heard from anyone at all. I've called countless times and left countless voice messages and no one has returned my calls. I've been without a vehicle all this time, it seems like I'm intentionally being ignored. My property damage needs to be fixed ASAP.
I was involved in an auto accident with someone insured by this company on Nov. 21st, 2022. After waiting to collect the insured's information, I immediately filed a claim and was told I would be contacted by an adjuster within a certain number of hours. It has now been a week since the initial time frame provided has passed, and I have had no contact with my adjuster. I have called daily and left messages for both my adjuster and their supervisor but have not received any response from the insurance company. They owe money for the towing service, repairs to my vehicle, the rental car I am currently using, medical expenses, and for my time spent calling and leaving messages every day. I am now considering hiring an attorney.
This is about the insurance claim with First Chicago Insurance. The company is not possible to be reached. Their number is always busy. The representative assigned to the claim receives phone messages, yet has been non-responsive for a month now.
Some guy plowed into the right back side of my car on 12/26
Some guy plowed into the right back side of my car on 12/26. The at-fault driver is insured by First Chicago Insurance. They contacted me at the end of January and sent someone out from third-party appraiser for the supplement within a few days, but we could not get into a body shop until 4/11. Insurance company told me they would cover a rental starting when my car entered the shop. On 4/13 the body shop submitted a supplement to the third party claims website (as instructed - they use the company SCA). On 4/21 - I emailed the contact at First Chicago (***) because no update 4/22 - she calls acknowledging claim and says shell push through management review by EOD 4/25 - still hearing nothing I email again for an update. Shes out of office until 5/2 Meanwhile body shop guy gets ahold of someone different they go back and forth on claim and as of 5/13 were still fighting on a remaining $2k. So I email again and ask why they cant send a physical person to look at car and talk to to body shop. Which at that point they did. Came to an agreement last week and got that approved. It has been 5 days since they approved and body shop still doesn't have the final money. Nor has he been able to order the parts because he can't until it's approved. I tried to do the right thing and turned the rental car in on 5/13 because I was on vacation for a week. Now that Im back and the car isnt done, I need another one. But theyre trying to claim theyre only covering 16 days of a rental car because thats the reasonable estimate to fix. And the lady is trying to claim the second supplement was submitted last week when I have emails in April where she acknowledged the second supplement. The fact that the car sat for 3 extra weeks is their negligence. The initial 30 day rental was $900 and they claimed they will only cover ~$400. The body shop can not give me a remaining estimate of time to fix until the final supplement clears.

I purchased my car and insurance on Sept 26, 2022. I had the accident on September 27, 2022. I have not ever received a quote to repair my 2022 Spark. I've called numerous times within the last 3 months. No one calls back or responds to the voicemails as promised. I've spoken to the manager and received nothing but the runaround. It will be 3 months as of December 28, 2022. I regret buying this insurance. DO NOT PURCHASE insurance with these scammers. I've even gone to the office and was not allowed entry. A security guard took the message to the organization. A few minutes later, a manager called and said they are waiting for the police to confirm the date. WHAT! They have the accident report with all the information in it. It feels like I will NEVER get a quote. I even got the brokers involved! I'm disgusted and horrified with the service. One star. They deserve a zero rating. Scammers. I will never drive my car again. Thanks, FIRST CHICAGO. You are awful, First Chicago!
The insured hit my vehicle on 02/24/2022. I contacted the insured's insurance company. They directed me to a specific repair shop. My car damages were inspected there. A quote was then sent to First Chicago Insurance Company. However, First Chicago Insurance never initiated contact with me. After a week, I reached out to them. They informed me that the case was still in the process of being handled. When I called again a week later, they mentioned they were waiting for the insured to add the driver to the policy. I expressed that the delay was not my concern and that I needed my car damages addressed if the insured's vehicle was indeed covered. They responded by saying there was nothing they could do until the driver was officially added to the insurance policy.
My neighbor, who is insured with First Chicago Insurance, collided with my car while it was parked on 11/01/2022. A police report was filed, and I have made numerous attempts to contact the insurance agent. On 11/09/22, I called three times and was informed about the insurance adjustor's name. I was transferred to her extension and left a message, but I received no return call. The following day, on 11/10/22, I finally spoke with the adjustor. She provided me with an address to take my vehicle for a damage estimate at Lans-city Auto Rebuilders.
Since that day, the adjustor has not reached out to me regarding when my car will be repaired. Each time I call, I am sent to voicemail and instructed to leave a message with the promise of a return call the next day. I spoke with the adjustor on three separate occasions. On 11/15/2022, I was told my estimate was not approved. I called back on 11/28/2022 and was informed they would contact me once the approval was granted. I was also advised that if I was dissatisfied with how they were handling the situation, I could go through my insurance, which would then seek reimbursement from them.
Honestly, I don't feel this is right. It's not my fault the young lady hit my parked car, and I don't believe I should have to pay a $500 deductible just to have my car repaired.

My daughter was involved in an accident in 9/19/22, as their insured party crossed the double yellow line and stopped abruptly in front of daughter. She then had to slam on he brakes which then made her run into the back of the First Chicago insured party. Police was called and a report was giving and the First Chicago insured party was issued a ticket due has he was at fault. I have filed an injury claim as well. We contacted First Chicago on/around 9/21 related to this issue to get the process rolling of filing on their behalf. The 1st statement she asked was, "Oh, he/we thought you were going to file on your insurance". I told her why would file on our behalf on our insurance when we did not cause the accident/damaged. She took some information and stated, an appraiser will be assigned as well as an injury adjustor. On 9/30, I received a text message from ***, that I could track the process and obtain the appraiser information. On 10/2, I was contacted my the appraiser and on 10/3 he came out and appraised her vehicle. He stated the car is totaled and he is going to send his information to the insurance company and they will follow-up with me. I hadn't heard from the insurance company, as I keep calling multiple times and leaving messages. On 10/11, I left a message on the appraiser voicemail and he respond that he has sent First Chicago a message. I kept calling to obtain a follow-up on the report and someone finally answers...the same person every time. She then goes and states, "there is something wrong with the police report and someone should be contacting you on Monday". I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with the police report. At this point, I feel they don't want to pay for the damages. As of today, 11/28 when you call the claim line, it states the number you dialed is not in service at this time. This insurance company is not responding to calls or claim, as I am trying to get my daughter's car taken care of.

My car was stolen, police found it and it was towed to a city impound. The car is considered a total loss. I sent all of the documentation to First Chicago Insurance. The person assigned to my case is yet to be identified. I recently found out the tow lot still has the car and they are auctioning it off due to the insurance company not picking it up. I already signed the vehicle over to First Chicago. I have not made payments since I signed the car over to the insurance company. The vehicle has a lien and I had a very difficult time reaching the lienholder, as did I. I canceled my policy with them since I no longer have the vehicle and I switched to Progressive because of poor communication. My claim was denied due to alleged non-cooperation from me. I still owe $17k to Tidewater Finance Company. First Chicago is totally ripping me off. I paid for insurance for a reason. I don't understand how an insurance company can deny a claim that is a total loss. I cannot afford to pay for a car that has been totaled. Thank you.
On 10/18/22 my car was used by a driver insured by First Chicago Insurance. He was involved in a wreck with another car. My insurance paid for the damage to the other vehicle. I contacted the driver of my cars insurance First Chicago Insurance and received a claim number. The claim was assigned to an adjuster who I have been calling since 10/25. I leave voicemails, but never get a call back. I also have the supervisors number and have called him with the same lack of results. The claim number is 22TXM77161. I have called 11 times with no response. I would like to speak with someone from First Chicago Insurance and have this claim processed under the laws and regulations regarding these types of insurance claims.
I was hit buy an insured of First Chicago insurance back in June 2022. I was parked and hit in the front of my car. They have given me the run arounds. I was promised a check would be mailed to me(THAT week)3 weeks ago. Now I am unable to reach someone. Who else do I contact about this because their Claims guy is very unprofessional and not very forthcoming about information. I dont understand what their problem is!

The insuranfe company recovered my car
The insuranfe company recovered my car. I have waited 3 weeks for them to give me an estimate and send my car to the facility of my choice in order for my car to get fixed after it was stolen and damaged. They will not return any of my calls or even answer the phone. Then they leave me a voicemail that my quote is ready and to call them to tell them where i want my car sent to be fixed, but nobody will answer the phone. When they do pick up, I get transfered then hung up on. I have spent 900 dollars on a rental because they have took so long handling this issue, and wont even call me to update me on anything. They are only going to reimbirse me 420 of the 900 I have had to spend, and its not fair that they wont contact me and let me know whats going on because i just keep spending money on a rental to get back and forth to wotk and get my son to school, and noe U dont even have the money to pay my deductible when my car gets sent to the shop. Timothy Ferguson, the manager promised to call me back 2 weeks ago and still has not. My claims agent is Veronica Topez, and she wont return my calls either. My claim was filed on 8/12. I have never received a call from this woman, but once. She has never tried to reach out to me ever. I got one message from her saying to call her so shr can tell me the amount my claim was approved and where to send my car to get fixed. Ive keft this woman 2 messages since then, and she has never gotten back with me. Ive left her 3 messages before that, and she has never got back with me. Ive left 2 messages for timothy ferguson ,and no reply from him either. I feel taken advantage of. Ive been with them and paying on time for a long time, and they just dont care. They are really making me go broke anf ruining my life right now. I just want my car, and my reantal monry back. I turned in all my paperwork. They dont wait to take my money, so I dont know why Im now on week 4 of not getting any responses about my vehicle that I need.

This company actually was paid to cover my car for insurance coverage and when my vehicle was hit they took it upon themselves to record my complaint very thoroughly to be treated like an outcast and to be refused coverage was told that the other insurance company would cover it and they did not and would like for this insurance company to give me a full refund of my money overall I do know that I was parked when I was hit by a driver that backed into me and my car is still in need of repair would like for this company to give me my money back due to them refusing to cover the damages and also I paid funds to this company which was an adjustment because I draw for Uber I would like a full refund of the amount that I paid to this company to cover my vehicle! If the company has information that they would like to receive they can reach me at the phone number or by email to discuss this account!
First of all, this insurance company has been the worst to deal with. Their insured rear-ended me and this has cost me the worst time ever. First they were unable to assist in letting me take my vehicle anywhere; I had to specifically take it to ONE body shop over 25 minutes away from my home but with a 1 HOUR window! First of all many people work between 3-4 PM. so did not work already. so i put claim through State Farm (my insurance) completed all work, So then i went after First chicago for diminished value because we were going to trade my vehicle in for a SUV but now they are offering me less because I have an accident on this vehicle. They dont want to give it to me because they state the accident wasnt that bad and no structural damage. WHAT!? I have been chasing them for my deductible back and still waiting for this. *** stated also that if i submit my declarations page they would up front the deductible. it has been over a week and still have not received response. I just want this resolved as this has put a financial strain on me. I just wish this never happened in the first place. I would just like monies back for my deductible and a compensation back for my diminished value of my car now that there is an accident on there from their insured.
My son was in a car accident with a driver insured by this company. My insurance company and I have been trying to reach a claim representative for a month. I have left messages with my claim number #*** and no one calls you back. You can all this company as soon as they open and the wait time are outrageous. You use the automated system to hold you place in line and non one call you back. My son has been without a call for over a month. You can some how get in touch with a sales agent but no other department from this company.

My vehicle was hit on 08/11/2022 (Thur) in front of my house by my neighbor (First Chicago policy holder)
My vehicle was hit on 08/11/2022 (Thur) in front of my house by my neighbor (First Chicago policy holder). It was recorded on my home security. On 08/12 (Fri) @ 7am, upon finding out about the accident, I filed the police report. The police were unable to find *** (neighbor) at that time. I was able to locate him later that night to obtain his insurance information. On 8/13 (Sat), I made the call to First Chicago and was given a reference number and told that someone would contact me immediately. On 08/15 (Mon), after 2 days with no contact from First Chicago, I called and spoke with *** at First Chicago. I informed her of the situation and emailed her the video of the hit and run. *** had given me the claim # of 22KSB95284.*** informed me that until the appraisal was completed they could not authorize a rental vehicle. She said that I could rent a vehicle from *** and that I would be reimbursed after the appraisal. On 8/16 (Tues), I received a text message from *** stating that they would be out to conduct the appraisal on my vehicle. The apprasial did not happen until 8/18 (Thursday at 10:45am). *** was the appraiser. She acknowledge that my vehicle was undriveable. She stated she would get all of the information submitted and I should hear back from First Chicago by the end of the day. Since my appraisal, I have left 5 messages for *** at First Chicago and emailed him with no return response. I have tried to call the First Chicago office number, but was unsuccessful in getting to a live person. On 08/20, I called *** Chicago's claim number from their website ***. A representative informed me that she was only an "after hours" claims person. She was very nice and checked my claim. Unfortunately, she could only make note of my call and send the information to the First Chicago office for help. I am getting the run around. I need help getting my car repaired.

We pay for full coverage on our 2016 Kia Sorento
We pay for full coverage on our 2016 Kia Sorento. On January 19th we had an accident where I got a deer. I do not have any accidents on my driving record. My wife and our 3yr old daughter were in the vehicle with me. I did not take pictures that night as it was a desolate country road/highway and it was dark. My two fears were that as easily as I got the deer someone could hit me on the side of the road taking pictures and that the quality would not render good or great due to it being pitch black. I would like to note immediately after impact the vehicle starting smoking and is not drive able then or at this time. I immediately called sheriff's department in that county (we were passing through as I was working in that area at the time). I was asked if we had any injuries by the deputy who answered my call. Aside from our daughter being shaken up, we had no injuries. The deputy said typically deer accidents are covered under comprehensive insurance and usually do not require a police report. If by chance we needed one to call back and let them know and they would file one. The next day I called and filed a claim and took the rest of the day off from work to go take pictures of the vehicle in daylight and get it towed to our home. Our agent got a definitive answer for us from the insurance company if the report was needed as the customer service reps could not tell us for certain (they stated photos, witnesses that do not know you, or a police report would help in making the decision on the claim). We called and got the report made and submitted it to the adjuster along with photos. The adjuster also came to our home to see the vehicle in person to assess damages. We never received nothing more than our insurance cards when getting insurance with First Chicago. They have now denied the claim sighting a text from policy stating we did not make the report within 24 hours. The policy wording they sighted does not state it that way nor in the surrounding wording.
I filed claim # **iLV86762 on December 23, 20** with this company
I filed claim # iLV86762 on December 23, 20*** with this company. I attempted to follow up on my claim using the status claim check line, and no one would ever answer, and I was hung up on after waiting on the claim status line for several minutes once. Someone had picked up the line and hung up. I would leave voicemails after voicemails to get the status of my claim, and no one ever called me back. I had to go through the website and fill out a contact form to receive a call back. They called the main policy holders number to reach me claiming that they did not have my phone number even after I left messages with my phone number and claim number for reference. When the person called me after filling out the contact form asking for an supervisor to call me back, I was finally able to let someone know that my car was in a tow yard incurring charges of $150.00 per day. My car had been in the tow yard for *** I had even called the *** number on the website, and the woman said that the reason no one answered or got back to me was because they maybe had two people in the office. Someone finally reached out, and The woman took the info of where my car was located, and said that the adjuster was going to call the tow yard to work out payment to release my vehicle. Someone from their office named *** began texting me. She informed me that the storage fees came out to be over $7,000 which I was told by *** was excessive and that they wouldnt pay that much. I was told that if the charges had been $700-1500, my insurance would cover an amount in that range. She made me call the tow yard several times and speak to the owner to try and get him to lower the charges. She told me to pretend that I did not have insurance coverage so that I could pay the owner. Now Im told that I have to pay $1500 in excessive fees to get my car out of another tow yard. I was also told that I owe money for having a co-owner, but my car is paid off.

I had my car accident on June 14
I had my car accident on June 14. I filed my claim on June 15th. The adjuster went to look at my car a week later. After 4 days, I called to get an update since the person over my claim never contacted me. I was told theyre waiting for the adjuster to attach the estimate, which was already attached. I was told it takes 3-5 days after the estimate is attached for someone to contact me. On Monday, I called and left a voicemail. No call back. Tuesday my brother called and was able to get in contact with the person over my claim. Later that day, *** finally called me. I was told that shes waiting for the police report before my claim can be approved. She asked me if I could provide the police report. The next day, I contacted the Police station and they said the report was uploaded days ago. I emailed her informing her that my car needs to be off the streets soon because it was residential parking. I also asked if I could just have it towed to the shop and send in the receipt. It was two different shops, 1 for underbody and the other was body work. Later the same day, *** calls me and said they finally received the report and that its hard to split the payment for two different shops. She said they have a shop for the car to be towed to. She said it wouldnt be in the shop that long because its not that much they have to do. This was on June 28th. June 30th, I contacted her because my car was still on the street and I didnt receive the email. I kept calling and couldnt get in contact with her. I called again on July 5th and she asked me was my car towed yet and Im thinking she should already know that. She said its probably because of the holiday. She will contact them and call me back. I never received a called back. Its July 9th and I still havent heard from her or the company. I had to arrange the tow myself to a shop on July 8th and pay out of pocket. This is ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Whats the point of full coverage?!

On June 9, 2022 my vehicle was rear ended by a taxi driver who is insured by First Chicago Insurance Company
On June 9, 2022 my vehicle was rear ended by a taxi driver who is insured by First Chicago Insurance Company. I called 911 and was instructed since both cars were still drivable and there were no injuries, to simply exchange information with the driver of the taxi and to report the accident to the nearest police station. We did as the 911 operator instructed us to so. I drove to the nearest *** station and reported the accident. I filed a claim with First Chicago and also contacted them via phone on June 15, 2022. I spoke with *** who filed for me to go get a quote on the repair to my vehicle. I proceeded to go get the quote for the repair on June 17. Following the quote by the body shop recommended by First Chicago, I did receive a letter dated June 24, 2022, confirming that First Chicago had received a report indicating that a vehicle owned or operated my me was involved in a captioned loss. The letter also stated that First Chicago needed to consult with their insured in order to confirm coverage and determine liability. After not hearing from First Chicago for several weeks, I began calling them to inquire as to the status of my claim. My first call following the letter was on 7/13/2022. I did speak on that call with ***. She informed me that they were having difficulty getting a hold of their insured who worked for the taxi cab company. I continued to call First Chicago five more times in order to have them pay for this claim that they are liable for. In early October they sent me a check for 70% of the liability stating that they have accepted 70% liability for the loss. Their insured ran into the back of me so I don't know how they are only responsible for 70%. They also stated they have video claiming to show the accident but they have not shown it to me. In a phone call with me they described the actions of my car in the video. It was grossly incorrect and did not match the details of the accident. I am confident it is an incorrect video.

Beware!, I contacted First Chicago to seek information on what I need to do to file a claim as I had just been rear-ended in a parking lot and the person who hit me had agreed to repair the scratches so I did not file a police report due to it was just minor scratches, but then later blocked my phone number and disappeared. I was told by the *** or the *** that I would need to first file a police report which I never did because it would not be worth all the time and energy for something would cost probably a little over $300. Fast forward, time to renew insurance as it ended in July and I decided that I was not going to pay the amount for that company as it to me is not a major insurance comp so I decided to pursue others and in doing so I was shocked to find out that I have a no fault accident on my report so my premium was almost doubled, I was told to try and contact First Chicago to see about amending this as I never received any form or retribution for this claim, I called, 1st was told by the claims *** that they could not omit it and that it was closed due lack of information on my behalf and that it should not be affecting my rates, Yes it is! and then told that I should talk to underwriting *** who had already told me to talk to them, then told to contact Insurance King to see if they can help! WHY! I'm talking to claims now for a claim that was never opened but told just due to the phone call it generated a claim? Well how when I never had the police report that I need to move forward? Ok at this point can you send me some info on the claim a letter that I can present showing that it was closed and not pursued? No we don't have letters of that nature? What well I don't even have a claim #, the adjustors name the incident report I literally have nothing to show this ever existed. Transfers me to the adjustor guess what? VM Even when you pass you get something in writing its called a death certificate wonder who got the money I didnt!

Accident on 4/24/22, report filed same day; First Chicago insured driver hit my car.
Accident date 4/24/22, report filed 4/24/22. On that day, a First Chicago insured driver reversed at a red light, colliding with my vehicle and causing minor damage. The driver departed once the light turned green. I promptly reported the incident to the police and noted the other driver's license plate. The responding officer promised to reach out to the other driver. The hit-and-run caused a delay in reporting and filing the claim. I submitted a claim to First Chicago immediately after obtaining the insurance details and was told to expect an adjuster's call within 3-5 business days, but no call came. After several attempts to contact First Chicago, I was given the adjuster's name and extension. I left messages but received no response. On 6/2, I spoke with the adjuster's supervisor, who informed me that they were awaiting the police report. I sent the report via email, which was acknowledged on 6/2. The supervisor assured me the adjuster would reach out, which happened on 6/3. However, the adjuster did not inquire about the incident, only mentioning ongoing attempts to contact their insured driver. Eventually, they reached the driver and assigned an appraiser to inspect my car on 6/6/22. The appraiser's visit was brief, and although I had provided photos, the estimate was not processed for approval as claimed. My claim was denied due to errors and misinformation. Claim number 22ILV91753. Please contact me for further details.

My daughter was involved in a car accident on 10/21** policy #INA635805-04- Claim #**INA98277
My daughter was involved in a car accident on 10/21*** policy #INA635805-04- Claim #INA98277. My daughter is a driver on the policy, fully covered for 2 years. On 10//20*** we called to file a claim and we asked about a rental vehicle as well, since it was the weekend they told us to call back on Monday. On Monday 10/24, my daughter spoke to a claims adjuster, *** about a rental. She gave her a coupon code for *** and told her to make a reservation with the claim # and she would be reimbursed. On 10/25*** we were assigned a claims adjuster, *** and she told us an inspector would be contacting us to look at the vehicle. The inspector contacted my daughter on 10/27*** and said he would be out to look at the vehicle by the end of the week but neither my daughter nor I had heard from him; no knock on the door or anything, as far as we know he didnt come. We have been reaching out to *** for a month in regards to our claim because each time we call she says the claim is on her managers desk and is waiting to be reviewed. She also continues to bring up an accident from 2 years ago, which I was never asked about when agreeing to sign with this company. I reached out to the manager and left a voicemail after my call got declined and explained what was going on and if he couldnt help I would take further measures. He immediately called back and basically told me that If I reached out to an attorney, to have them send him a letter. He was completely unbothered by anything I was saying and didnt seem interested in helping me resolve the claim. My daughter has been paying out of pocket on a rental for a month, which we are supposed to be reimbursed for. We have no answers or estimated date on when the claim will be resolved. I'm asking for help because my daughter has to get back and forth to work and we have been paying this insurance company every month for 2 years for nothing in turn. Its 11/20/*** and we have yet to hear anything back.

Hello. I filed a claim on 12/23, and I have had an extremely difficult time with this insurance company responding to me and issuing payment to fix my vehicle. They have dragged this claim out for almost four months.First Chicago Insurance Company had my car towed to *** on January 7, 2022, and my car has been there ever since. They are located at *** South Chicago Ave. I finally received an estimate from ***, the adjuster, on February 7, 2022 after filing a complaint with the Complaintsboard.com, which a copy of such estimate was supposed to be sent to Classic Collision. I spoke with *** from Classic Collision, and they hadn't even heard from the insurance company at that point. I received a voicemail from *** on February 24 stating that she had mailed a check to Classic *** Center on February 15 for payment to have my car repaired.I spoke with *** at Classic *** on 3/10/2022 and 3/31/2022, and he said that not only had they not received the check, but they had not even received approval from this company to start the repairs. The adjuster flat out lied about sending the payment, and I would like to see a copy of the check that she "mailed." I had e-mailed *** on March 12, 2022 asking her about the check that she mailed on February 15, 2022, and she still has not responded, and it is now April 1, 2022. Classic *** never received a check as of 4/1/2022.*** from Classic *** also said that he is having a hard time getting this adjuster to respond to his calls and emails. He said that he is now going back and forth with three adjusters fighting to get approval of estimates. How did *** mail a check if the estimates were not approved? This company has been receiving my monthly premium payments while dragging this claim out in an attempt to keep collecting my payments. Can they please issue the payment finally so that my vehicle can be repaired?

I filed a claim on May 31, 2022 and got hardly no response from anybody without having to call aggressively wasting a whole hour of my lunchtime every day for a week. Just to hear from someone that Im going we said they will call me back on Friday, June 10 and never did. A pay my insurance on time have full coverage and filled out the witness report yet sent me. Very frustrating and difficult and disrespectful to be treated this way. Its almost like a joke or slap in the face. Because nobody seems to want to help. They just answer the call and forward you to a voicemail that nobodys going to respond to. Getting this insurance was the worst decision that Ive ever made in my life. *** is hideous and they just dont care. No human being deserves to be treated this way.
I filed a claim and received a complaint number. Subsequently, I attempted to contact them using the provided numbers, but to no avail as no one answered. Despite leaving several voice messages, it was only after some time that I received a callback from an agent. During the call, I provided a detailed statement about the accident and the location of the car for appraisal. This conversation occurred over the phone just two days ago. However, I was perplexed to receive a letter from them recently, which requested the same details I had already provided and listed the same unresponsive contact numbers.
It's unfathomable to encounter an insurance company with such poor customer service. My car sustained severe damage from a significant collision, and I am currently undergoing medical treatment. It's bewildering why the local authorities permit such companies to conduct business when they seem to be toying with consumers' needs in such a critical manner. Any insurance company that lacks accessible agents at any time of the day raises suspicions of fraudulent activity. It is incumbent upon the local authorities to take action against the operation of such companies.
