On 11/2/2022 I paid this business $119.99 after (Tracfone) Verizon failed to port my phone number and activate my phone. The testimonials they have up on YouTube claim the longest anyone has waited was 3 days. After 6 days past they still had not supplied a code. I sent 3 emails expressing concerns. I got an automated response each time supposedly by someone by the name of "Alina." After 9 days Verizon finally activated my phone to resolve a filed dispute. At this point UnlockRiver had done nothing so I requested a refund. They denied my refund based on a very ambiguous refund policy claiming their "servers " have been working on unlocking my phone since my order was placed. If they were using servers to unlock these phones my phone should have been unlocked in hours. It was brand new and never activated. Taking them to court.

On July 22, 2018 I contacted this website company to have my phone unlocked. After about ten days they sent me an email telling me my phone was unlocked and they sent no code. Instead they sent me instructions on how I was to unlock my phone myself. After contacting a couple of cellular support people, it turns out that my phone was never unlocked. I contacted the unlockRiver support to let them know that my phone was never unlocked and requested that they refund the $75.99 that I paid them. I never heard back from these people and hope to take further action against them since I got scammed in a big way.

I have raised a request to unlock my iPhone 7 Plus from at&t United States and made payment of 139 USD from my credit card after which I never received any communication from unlock river on my request while my money got debited from my end. Neither I got my phone unlocked nor my money refunded. It's almost a week and am looking for some possible help in this regard.

I wasn't satisfied with the quality of a purchased item. The only way how I could resolve this issue is to just send it back.
I called them, found everything out and shipped it at my expense, but ok, not a big money.
It's been two months and there's still no money. I call them every 3 days and ask when they are going to give my money back. They always say the same: sorry for the inconvenience, I'm surprised we made you wait for so long. The money is on its way. Please, await.
Ok. Two months. Same words. Lots of promises, zero actions.

on Sept 18, 2017...I was charge TWICE on band account.Unlock River said were going to help me unlock my phone.I did not get service from them.I did chat with someone on [protected]@payday.com.They assure me that I would not be charge.They said my request would be reviewed..request #156006They charge me TWICE at 7.99 total 15.98..IT was POS*San Jose Ca.#592623 and the other #733844.I would like my money back/return.

Was charged 79.99 from this company even though I had never heard of them or used any kind of unlock service. It was refunded into my account 3 days later, during which time I was unable to reach a customer service agent - they have no phone number listed on their website. All I ever received was a generic email, and when I responded and demanded a phone number so I could talk to a REAL person about the fact that they had my bank account information, they waited three days and sent another generic email and said they would "look over my case." I sent another angry reply 2 days ago and said that if they were a real company there should be a phone number to call. Still haven't heard back. Very skeptical of the legality of this company. At the very least, they have TERRIBLE customer service.

I paid for UnlockRiver service and these people were supposed to unlock my iPhone but nothing was done! The said that it will take two days to do that so I contacted them and asked what was going on. They did not reply. One week later I demanded my money back and they said that they don't do refunds! According to their refund policy they were supposed to refund me, but these scammers claimed that I ordered incorrect service and the whole thing was my fault. These scammers! I know what I paid for!

I've bought a code from UnlockRiver and it did not work! I tried many times, but nothing worked. So I contacted them and told that the code they provided was invalid, but they said that was not impossible and stopped replying to my messages. They never gave my money back and never helped me. This service is absolutely ridiculous! Better go to a local store and unlock your phone there. Just a waste of money!

I bought unlock code from the website www.unlockriver.com. I gave them my personal and card info, but these people started to take money from me. The sums were small, but they took them every week. I wanted to stop these fake charges, but these jerks didn’t react to my emails and I have no idea what measures to take now. I wonder if there are people, who had the same thing. I really need to stop these fake charges or I will lose all my money.

I was scammed by www.unlockriver.com. I have bought a new phone, but it was locked. So I found the website and ordered unlock code from them. The assistant from the website told me that I would receive the email with code. I wired money through PayPal, but these people haven’t sent the code or even any email. As well as they ignored my emails. I made the claim through PayPal in order to get any answers and code, but they were still in the process. Awful website and real fraudulence.

I wanted to unlock my phone, so I went to the website www.unlockriver.com. I chose the phone and filled the form, after that I needed to get the email from them, but I haven’t received it. I waited couple of hours and sent 4 emails to these ###. They didn’t reply and didn’t send my code, so I was really disappointed, but I want money back, which I paid while I filled the form.
