Reservation [protected] at Hsv airport on December 28th.
I drove 25 miles to pick up my one way rental to Orlando (bad enough that Southwest canceled my flight the day before) to find that Enterprise was not allowing any one way rentals that day. The staff of three were sitting and chatting and never got out of their chairs when I walked up to their counter. One lady looked up and said, "do you have a one way rental" to which I responded that I did. At this point she nonchalantly said, "we don't have any cars for one way rental". She then said "we don't have any cars", which I knew was untrue. I asked why Enterprise didn't contact me by phone or email instead of having me and my friend waste an hour driving to pick up the reserved car. They just looked up from their chairs and said they would be mad too.
I just don't understand how I can be assured by your customer service that a car was avaliable when I reserved it, and no one bothers to follow thru or check on availability.
Why didn't your staff, who were not busy that particular day, look at their bookings and make some calls to assist your clients?
This was a poor way to handle your business!
Desired outcome: An apology would be nice.
