Hello! My name is Audra Hoeffling and I've been a loyal dollar general customer. My husband and I have been customers at this particular location for almost 4 years. Every visit I've always been treated kind and with respect and excellent service. However, we have had a problem with an employee Zack. It's been a few months since the first altercation with Zack. My husband ran inside a few minutes before closing hoping that he could make a quick purchase. Zack was at the register and told my husband he had a few minutes before the computers shut off. My husband quickly grabbed what was needed and put the items on the counter. Zack then tells my husband "I'm sorry but the register is closed". My husband said to him " you just told me I had a few minutes " but Zack said sorry with a smirk on his face. My husband proceeded to tell him that this was wrong and he should have told him the register was closed when he walked in. Zack told him to get out and that he was banned from ever shopping in this dollar general store. Im not sure he is even in a management position to make that call. We have never experienced such rudeness and disrespect from a store employee. It was totally unnecessary. Afterwards, my husband brushed it off and decided to go in today thinking everything
would be ok. Zack is really young and he thought that zack had a bad day before and was trying to micromanage. When my husband walked in zack said " So, Do you think my band has an experation? Do you think I forgot about you? You need to leave!" and my husband who is pretty upset calls him a name and walks out of the store. We are so confused as to why we have been treated like this. Ive come to the conclusion that he has a discrimination issue with us. As long as he is employed there we will not continue to give you our buisness. No one deserves to be treated/judged this way. I own a buisness a few blocks down the street and I will make sure to let every client know about this matter. I really hope you can resolve this problem. Thank you
