I went to my local Dollar General this morning in the hopes of purchasing paper products. I had been advised by the store one day earlier to be there by 8:00 a.m. as they were expecting a delivery the day before. While in line an employee of Dollar General came up behind us, there were about 4 of us in line, she walked past us carry a rather large box which she slammed down on the ground in front of her. We were there early so had to wait for the store to open. A woman came to the door asking if we were there for paper products and if we were that the delivery truck did not come as planned. The same employee who threw the box on the ground walked up from inside the store and interjected herself into the conversation I as having with the other employee. Both employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. I later went back to the store only to find out one was the manager (Selina) and the other was the assistant manager (Shannon). I was not upset that their delivery truck did not make it, I was upset by the attitude of both employees. All of us in line today were 65 or older and expect much more respect from your employees, especially in management positions. I hope that this matter is addressed by you at your earliest convenience. I have had interaction with both of these persons at other times, and my experience with them has been less than satisfactory. I believe that if they do not enjoy their jobs, there a others ready and willing to take their place. Thank you.
