I had my first laser hair removal on August 1, 2023, for a Brazilian bikini and underarms. My underarms had no negative reaction, but my Brazilian had a very negative reaction. I had major swelling and itching last 5-7 days. Before making my next appointment, which ended up being on September 12, 2023, I had called and spoken to the nurse about how bad my situation was, and I was very hesitant about scheduling another appointment because of has miserable I was after my first appointment. The nurse along with Aida, the lady who initially signed me up, convinced me to try it again and told me that I should take Benedryl this time to help with the side effects. I ended up scheduling my second appointment but this time it included my legs. After the appointment on 9/12/2023 I immediately began taking Benedryl. My legs reacted negatively just like how I described my Brazilian side effects were. There was swelling, I was in pain, my legs even produced blisters. I provided pictures and made more calls to Laser Away expressing the pain and discomfort I was in. I sent pictures to the Nurse and everything. After expressing all of this they told me I should I have begun taking the Benedryl 3 days in advance and I should try again and that I would probably have a better outcome the next time. At no point in time did anyone express any sympathy regarding my side effects. I expressed that I was not sure if I wanted to continue treatments. I requested to be contacted to discuss me cancelling the rest of my treatments. On October 19, 2023 I text Aida that I wanted to cancel to rest of my treatments. She said I would be getting a refund of only $1699 out of the initial $4161.79 that was charged to the Alphaeon account. I tried texting Aida on November 10th and 14th following up on when I should be receiving the refund on the account, No response. I contacted Laser Away directly at least 3-4 separate times trying to inquire about my account and refund situation. I have received no acknowledgment of my complaints or me cancelling. I've been requesting someone contact me, I expressed that I felt like I was being avoided and ignored regarding this whole situation and still nothing. As of December 8, 2023 I have a balance of $3,617.79. I have made a payment of $300 on 8/27/2023, $137 on 10/20/2023, and $140 on 11/17/2023, plus a $30 late fee charged on 8/20/2023. I will pay the $599 for the clear and brilliant I received on July 25, 2023.
