Our SUV was taken to the 129th & Quebec store to have SUV tested. They started with testing battery & starter. But were not sure of complete issue so we had it towed to 120th & Grant store where said the batteries & starter were bad.
Why did the store at 129th not find bad batteries?
They supposedly replaced both and the started failed again, but they did not replace under warranty. They did not cover the cost to replace the starter again even though they had said it was their responsibility. They charged us nearly $2400 for starter and batteries. The they said it needed a head gasket and spark plugs for additional $1000. They did not say they could not perform, they gave us an estimate. SUV was then towed to dealer and starter replaced and SUV started. Do not take your Vehicle to Brakes Plus unless you want to be repeated off.
Desired outcome: refund for work not performed
