My Husband and I were working out at the gym next door to this Dollar General location at approx. 11am on 4/7/19. My husband informed me that he needed new socks. So I told him that we could go after working out next door to the Dollar General which we had been going to for a while now in the past. When we entered the store and went down to look for socks, a rude voice yelled out and said, hey maam you have to leave your nap sac at the front resister, it is store policy. I looked around and look at this person and said, I am sorry are you talking to me?. She said yea you, I looked at her and told her that I have my wallet in here and that we just came from the gym next door and that do you ask everyone to leave there purse at the resister when them come in?. She stated "If need be". WOW, I was so taken back by her language and her so un perfessional attitude towards me. I understand that there are people who steal items and that some people have to be watched, but I and my husband have done nothing wrong but entered to store. You need to correct your staff behavior. I used like going into this store, but now I need to start going to the Family dollar store. much better upper class employees. If this you store policy I know you will have a lot more people angry as well. This is discrimination towards me.
