On Friday, July 29, 2022 at approximately 4:30 p.m. I stopped into the Dollar Tree ($1.25 Tree) in South Gate Plaza, Sebring, FL.
I made my selection of 8 packages of Oreo Cakesters and a couple other things and proceeded to the join the LONG line and wait to be checked out. So fast forward here.. I check the receipt as I walk to my car thinking the charge seened a little higher than I expected, (the extra 25 cents now messes me up some times haha) and lo and behold I was charged for 12 Cakesters instead of 8. I turn around... go back inside to join the even longer line to have them correct the overcharge and return my money ($5.25). Finally I reach the checker and was informed there is no refunds and I had to could go pick out 4 extra items or basically just throw that money away. Let's just say I was a little not bit happy with that as it was an error on THEIR part. There was no returns or exchanges of their merchandise which would make this an actual refund scenario... plain and simple it was a theft of my hard earned money that is getting increasingly tighter every day thanks to Biden and his merry band of fools.
Desired outcome: Adjust your "refund" policy to return funds to people who get over charged. Refunds and Overcharges are NOT the same thing! That over charge could potentially be money for other vital needs. STOP the STEAL!!
