On April 12, 2023 I visited the Dollar General, Store #23530, and made a purchase in the amount of $58.84. I completed this purchase by writing check number 6888. Per my bank statement this check #6888 cleared my account on April 17, 2023, and on April 18, 2023 it was presented again as an ach item.
I have contacted the store on multiple occasions and was told no one in the store could help with this. I am unable to get any help to get my money returned. I have a case number from the corporate office, #0201643, however, I am unable to speak to a live person and cannot use the automated system to get any satisfaction.
I live on a fixed income and this has placed a burden on my finances as well as my emotional state.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund asap as well as an apology for not really trying to help. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
