I don't remember the date, but sometime before Christmas 2020.
I was in the Dollar Tree at 1607 Caldwell Blvd in Nampa Idaho. I want to tell you that I have spend tons of money at Dollar Tree and in many cases the first place I go before any other store. One evening I had to use the bathroom and asked an associate and she refused me. I had to leave the store and find another store so I could use a bathroom. I live to far to go back home. I went back to Dollar Tree and spoke to the manager and she said it was from corporate that they were told to close bathrooms to the public. By the way the manager was very nice and we had a good conversation until one of the employees thought she could add her two cents into our conversation. I did not appreciate that at all, it was not her place to get involved with our conversation.
I left and went to another Dollar Tree and noticed their bathroom was open to the public. I talked to the manager and he told me that he was never told by corporate to close the bathrooms.
I know that the first Dollar Tree did not want to deal with cleaning the bathrooms for the paying customers. Lots of people work there, but for some reason they could not fit that into their schedule.
I don't plan to shop at the Dollar Tree on Caldwell again until they open their bathrooms. Some people have medical issuers and need to know that bathroom facilities are available to them.
Thank You, I hope to hear back from you.
