On Monday Aug. 2nd I place an order of the large "Feel Better With Fruit" basket, which included a bear, balloon, and a Gourmet Belgian Chocolate Get Well pop, along with the fruit to be delivered the next day to my sister who had just had surgery. On Tuesday Aug. 3rd the basket was never delivered, with no calls or explanations why. On Wednesday Aug. 4th I tried calling the store repeatedly to find out what was going on, but could not get an answer. I just kept getting an answering machine saying to call back during regular business hours, which at the time I was calling it was between 12:50 and 1:45pm. At this time I tried looking up the order number to try and track the order; however it said "NO OREDER FOUND!" I then tried calling another store and was told that all stores are independently owned and they would not be able to help me. At this time (very upset) I called the corporate number and explained my situation. They were able to contact the store, who said that for whatever reason (I still don't know) they were having problems with deliveries the day before but they would have my order out today. The next day, Thursday Aug. 5th I asked my sister if the order arrived and if so to send me a picture of it. When I received the picture I was again upset because it was not the basket I ordered. It was a small basket, when I ordered a large one and the balloon & the Get well Gourmet chocolate pop was missing. So I called the corporate office back and spoke with Miguel and explain what happed. He then tried calling the store but was unable to reach anyone, so he said it was your policy to give the store 24hrs to call me back. When I asked what happens if they don't call me back, he just said don't worry they will. I then waited 24hrs. as instructed, but no phone call. So on Saturday Aug. 7th I called the corporate office again and or course got the answering machine because it's the weekend. Since no one ever called me back, on Monday Aug. 9th I called the corporate office again and spoke with Elizabeth. She then called the store and they told her they would call me back, when I said that was unacceptable, she then called them on three-way where they would have to talk to me. I then spoke with Sabrina the store manager and she said all she could do for me was give me $33 back the cost of the balloon and Gourmet pop. At this time I was furious and I told her that was unacceptable and that I would be writing to the corporate office and the Better Business Bureau. She then asks me to hold on for a minute, and when she came back she said she would be refunding my total $108.02 which I still have not received yet.
I have ordered from Edible Arrangements many times, In fact just ordered one the week before and I have never had this problem. I am writing because I am very upset that I had to go through all of this for a whole week and still never got what I originally ordered, and still haven't received my money back yet.
