July 3, 2:15 p.m. I bought several items from this store (#662) in Crestwood Illinois. When i got home, I realized I had been charged for 2 bottles of Lemonade instead of one. I called the store and asked for the manager. The girl who answered the phone hesitantly stated she was the manager. I asked her name and she said it was Mary. When I explained what happened and asked if I could get my $1.25 back she said I have no way of knowing if you got one or two so a refund is not possible. So this to me meant she felt I was lying. After pressing her, she admitted she was an assistant and the store manager was not there. When I asked when she would be in (I think she said her name was Charley) she said she's out for a few days. I again said I just want back the money I did not receive product for. Then she said she'd have to check the cameras to see what I went through the line with but she did not know how to do that so she cannot refund me when she was not sure if I bought one or two lemonades. So, I hung up with her and called your complaint line. After waiting on hold for what seemed forever, I got a lady who I explained this issue to, and she said she'd connect me to the district manager. She was not there so I left her a message and still haven't gotten a response. i know that $1.25 is not a huge amount. I honestly was more concerned with the way I was treated - As if I was lying... I was also going to send an email to your CEO (yes, I have his email) but decided to try this first. Hopefully I will get a response. And by the way i have told everyone I know not to go to that store. I do go to the Oak Lawn and Chicago Ridge stores and have never had anyone treat me the way this girl treated me on the phone. She was extremely disrespectful. Thank you.
