Giant Food / Giant of Maryland - Rude customer service

I visited the 8905 Belair Rd location and was assisted by a very rude cashier named Michele. She did not greet me when I can through her line. Ate she ring up my few items and I paid I asked for a bag and was then informed it would be 5 cents. Had she informed me before I paid I would have told her to include it in my purchase. Once I collected my things she rudely stated thank you /you're welcome, after I already thanked her. I spoke with the manager on duty who seemed uninterested and offered a half [censored] apology.

Desired outcome: Please review customer service principles with both manager and cashier.

Did I complain about the cost of the bag? Reading is fundamental! Bags don't cost at Target, Walgreens, Dollar General, or Food Lion. So what the hell are you talking about?

I hurt my own granny in anger over this. She needed stitches.

Giant Food / Giant of Maryland - Handling of elderly customers who from a health condition that cannot wear a mask.

I was shopping yesterday 12/31/20 between 4-5 pm in the Giant food store located at 8905 Belair Rd, Nottingham, Md. I am a 63yrs. old handicapped female. Due to me having a brain injury and a previous tracheotomy very hard for me to breathe with a mask covering my face. Instead of the manager approaching me to ask me to leave he calls the police. Officer asked me to leave and I complied. I use a walker but am able to shop using a cart for balance. On my way out of the store the officer continually tried to push me along faster than I am able to walk causing me to lose my balance. He also pushed my 73 yr. caregiver causing him to almost fall. I was so frightened that I was going to fall, then I would have filed a law suit if I fell. I have shopped this store since 2012. My family and friends spend a lot of money at this store. The manager should of handled this problem but my guess is he`s not capable. Never so scared and embarrassed in my life. Am now on my way to police station to complain about the officer.

Desired outcome: This manager be reprimanded on how to treat senior citizens.

So because you fell you would have filed a lawsuit. I was all sympatric to you until you posted this. Now I have no sympathy. It is people like you who ruin things for everyone. Unless your fall caused injury you have no reason for a lawsuit.
