Unbelievably bad customer service. I had an electric hot water heater installed on Tuesday. I called Lowe's on Wednesday because the water isn't getting very hot. They said they would contact the installer (whom I had already talked to earlier) Lowe's never called the installer to authorize him to come reset the temperature. I called again today (Thursday) Lowe's said they would contact the installer immediately to have it reset. They didn't call the installer but did call me back 3 hours later to tell me that I have to contact the manufacturer to have the service call covered under warranty and that there was nothing further Lowe's could do to help me. So now I have to wait a week for the manufacturer to send out their technician so I can have hot water again.
Desired outcome: I will never do business with Lowe's again

I've been having this same experience. I got in touch with the installer and they told me to call the manufacturer. I'm going on my second month without actual hot water.
