This is November 30, 2023. I just made a trip to our Dollar General in Belle, MO 65013. I picked up two pieces of merchandise in the store and proceeded to the self check out. The time was approximately 8:20 in the evening. I saw no one in the store. No customers, no store personnel. My first item wouldn't ring up. I pushed the help button on the screen twice to get someone, I looked around for someone, and called out for help. Still no one! I am a trustworthy person and left my items on the counter and left. Someone not trustworthy could have made off with a large amount of items. Also, this store really is crowded with merchandise and the floors are not swept. We have a Family Dollar/Dollar General store in town which I purchased my items and will continue to do so. Just wanted you to be aware.
