Walmart

I bought a set of Federal Couragia tires last February from Walmart.Com and my local Walmart installed them once they arrived there. I went in for an oil change on Sunday 4/30/23 and a few hours after leaving my car started making a odd noise. I went back Monday 5/1/23 to see if it was a tire issue and they told me the tread was under 2 so they could not even check these tires I purchased through them. I left and went to a tire shop and found out all tire treads are low as they stated but one of the tires had a broken belt. So that company replaced the one tire and I left only to find out that did not fix the issue. Went back they balanced all tires, which was no help, so we decided to take it to a mechanic. Come to find out it looks like when they changed by oil on Sunday, they must have taken off the heat guards or whatever is around the oil filter and then proceeded to zip tie them back on! This is what was causing the odd noise coming from my tire. So I am now out almost 400 dollars from obviously a set of bad tires bought from walmart.com and poor maintenance from an oil change! What can you do to help this matter as this is made me decide to NEVER use Walmart automotive department ever again! Will send any invoices you may need or pics to back up this complaint. My name is Chip McNair and I have never filed a complaint formally in my life but I carried my 2 sons in the Corinth wal mart tonight and as we were walking down one of the toy aisles and I saw 2 LUNCH BOXES with the huggy wuggy character on them. #1 any kid who likes that crap has something wrong with them and it would definitely be the parents fault for allowing them to watch it.#2 the sheriffs department has even put out a warning to parents trying to inform them of what that character represents and what kind of songs that character sings to the kids in those little episodes. It literally sings about KILLING ITS PARENTS! Wal mart management should be ashamed for promoting such a thing and I know that I’m obviously not the only parent that feels this way and I’m not the FILE A COMPLAINT person but this really pissed me off and I hope somebody in the brass department actually sees this and does some research on the character and TAKES THIS OFF THE SHELF!

I brought 4 tire a while back from a Walmart in another town started having issues with them and took in to the Corinth, Ms. store to just buy new tires. The lady at the desk said let them check them for warrinty for the issues .The issues I told them is that I think that one or two had belts broke in them. They came back and said I had two rims that were warped and sent me on me way. Just was not convinced that what it was .So I took it to the Walmart in New Albany, Ms. and told them the same as I told the store in Corinth, Ms. They checked them and came back and said all four have broken belts in them they had to be replaced that it was dangerous to drive a possible blow out could happen. I don't like that the store in Corinth, Ms. put me and my family in dangerous situation . Just wanted them replaced at my cost they are the ones that wanted to check for warrinty . I want to thank the store in New Albany, Ms for stepping up and doing the right thing . Not only replacing the tire but taking me and my family out of harms way.
