I went to a Family Dollar Store on 4301 Statesville Rd in Charlotte NC and notice that the workers are letting customers type in their food stamp card number with presenting the card. The customer was looking at her phone to get the information and password. Grant it or not, the card could have been stolen from the rightful owner. I think this is bad business and need to be STOPPED NOW! I will be reporting this information to the Social Services people over the EBT Dept to let them know about the criminal activity that's going on at the store and probably all of your other stores. The card needs to be present at the time of purchase. No one should be looking at their phone or asking someone over the phone for the EBT card number and password. That's how theft works. So, please inform ALL of your stores that this is NO LONGER ALLOWED!
Desired outcome: EBT cards need to be shown at the time of purchase. No keying in the card using a phone to get the card number and password.
