Lowe's - Washer and dryer

I purchased a washer and dryer from lowes denver nc. The first ones were front loaders and very loud upstairs. I went back to lowes denver and they set up an exchange. Delivery crew said they were from charlotte nc. I ordered a small stackable. The delivery people broke the plug in off in my wall socket on the this one and it had to be returned. Lowes picked it up I tried to get the local lowes in denver nc to handle this but they said I needed to drive to shelby nc because it came from there I did not order it in shelby! Finally lowes denver had it picked it up and another replacement sent out. The delivery people broke a cord off the back of the new delivery and left it there, just left it there! I called lowes to come back and get it. The receipt said this delivery crew was from huntersville nc. I just happened to snap a picture of the return crews receipt where they picked the last one up! I went to queen city appliance and ordered one. I sent the pickup receipt and receipt where I purchased my new one and had it delivered to my house and they still will not credit my card. I am going to have to go to small claims court to get them to take it off my bill. What a bunch of losers!

Desired outcome: THEY NEED TO CREDIT MY BILL!!! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR!!!! I AM NOT GOING TO PAY FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT GET!!!!

Lowe's - Protection plan for major applicanced

Hello,

We purchased a refrigerator from Lowes in Huntersville, NC on 09/22/2016 with a 5 year warranty. 3 years later the fridge dies 07/21/2020. I contact LG directly the same day and they sent a technician out 10 days later and he said the fridge was shot. He called his dispatcher and they said for him to order a compressor, the tech said he has no training to put in a new compressor and the compressor would only be a band aid, the dispatcher said "Too bad, cos your installing it. Today is August 12th 2020 and I have heard nothing back from LG or the company they sent for the technician. I then went to Lowes, 08/11/2020 in Huntersville, NC where I spoke to Erin, I explained my hardship and she said that I would have to call a technician to come to my home and that a total of 3 technicians would have to come out to determine if it was a lemon. They said they had no loaners available at this time and offered me to go and talk to Don in appliances. I spoke with Don, he encouraged me to just buy another fridge and IF, it turns out that the fridge is no good and LG reimburses me that they could set me up. Then, I informed Don that I have the Lowes protection plan, he in turn said he shows no records that I have any plan, as Lowes purges their information every 6 months! He said it was up to me to Prove" that I purchased the protection plan with a receipt. This is ridiculous, they should have all the records as I have been purchasing LG products amongst other items from them for over 30 years. So basically, it's up to me to try and find a receipt from 3 years ago that shows I purchased this coverage... this is insane. We haven't had a fridge in almost a month! We have had to purchase Coolers, Ice, Water we lost so much food it's insane. The Modal 3 LFXS296265-01 serial # 607KRFN03115 was purchased again on 09/22/2016 with a 5 year warranty plan. So here I am with a clear breach of contract that Lowes is responsible for. They can't proof to me that ' I DIDN"T get the protection plan and I'm not willing to go through thousands of receipts to proof I didn't! This should fall on Lowes. Don, appliances dept at Lowes in Huntersville, NC said until I can proof I actually bought the Protection Plan that there was nothing they can do! Absolutely unacceptable.

I contacted Lowes Corporate dept and they sent me an apology for any inconvenience bla, bla, bla and said that Erin the manager at the Lowes in Huntersville, NC could supply me with a loaner, she couldn't.

I called [protected] LG and they said no parts were ordered yet, they will try to escalate, per Charles ref # RNN200814057872 - Claim # CN200814334849, he is sending another tech out next week. However, this does not mean that Lowes did not do due diligence to the customer whatso ever. They are not off the hook. I will take this to every newspaper and public platform.

We purchased a GE washer 4/3/17 from Lowes with extended protection plan for 5 years. The washer fell apart 2/19/22 while doing a regular load of wash, damaged the floor, wall and put 3 dents in the dryer next to it. A service man came out 2/23/2022 said it was unrepairable. 3/7/22 I have called the Lowes protection plan 3 times in the past 3 weeks, they state they were still reviewing the case that it would be another 14 days when we should receive a call or email with their decision. What do they expect people to do with their wash over a month? Laundry mat is very expensive and hassle during winter months. The protection plan I believe is a gimmick and provide very poor service. Will never purchase anything from Lowes or purchase a protection plan again in the future.
