We were very uncomfortable during our visit to your store in Southport, NC yesterday. Although the sign on the door specifically directs that masks must be worn, one of your employees, an older white woman, refused to wear her mask and did not practice social distancing, approaching us and others well within six feet. She answered our complaint saying she did not believe in wearing a mask and that if we were so paranoid of corona we should not visit the store.
Desired outcome: Ensure compliance with the mask policy
Dollar Tree - attitude if employee
While shopping at the Southport store on September 9, 2015, I heard a
very loud voice that I noted coming from the register area. No sure of
what was going on I moved to make sure no one was hurt. I love all the
employees in this store and they have learned so many by name. Always very respectful. On this night, Miss Harriett was screaming at
another employee that was putting up stock; Miss Harriett wanted to leave the register area and the other lady told her just a minute so she could get boxes out of isle. Harriett than became even louder and left the register unattended. The store manager came to the register but Harriett must have not closed the register properly. This was bad enough but the Harriett proceed to stand outside of the store bad mouthing to customers as they left the store. Not called for in a public place, if there was a problem I am sure the store manager would have discussed in private.
